Joey Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us. I'm Joey Aiello, and I'm here, as always, with the infamous Jeremy Piven!
Jeremy Piven: That's right bitch tits, and this week we are coming to you all live from Las Vegas, Nevada baby!!!
Joey Aiello: And I bet you've been enjoying the sights Jeremy.
Jeremy Piven: I won't lie to you Joey, I've been up to my neck in beer, bets and bitches all fucking day, so yes, you could say I've been enjoying the sights!
Joey Aiello: . . . . Ok . . . On with the show . . .
Match One
SPECIAL GUEST REF: Shadow Man
Jay Cee
VS
David Dreadful
Jessica Stroup: This match is scheduled for one fall and will have Shadow Man as the special referee first, coming to the ring, weighing in at 216 pounds. From Chicago Illinois, "The Outcast" David Drrrreeeeaaaaaadffullllllll
"Quote The Raven" begins to play as the lights flashes. All the eyes are on the stage as we see David Dreadful appear on the stage. His eyes pierce the crowd as they look on. David takes off his black leather jacket and begins to advance toward the ring.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent, hailing from Devon, England and weighing two hundred and twenty five pounds. "The Elite" JAY CEE!!!
Jay takes his time to get to the bottom. He then walks around the ring, still taking his time. Halfway around the ring he stops, he looks up at the ring and jumps onto the apron. He walks alongside the outside and stands on the second turnbuckle and puts his arms out shouting at the crowd that he is here. Jay then jumps over the ropes landing in the ring. He goes over to the opposite turnbuckle climbing to the second turnbuckle and repeating his pose from the other turnbuckle. After absorbing the atmosphere Jay gets down.
Shadow Man surprisingly makes a quite referee like entrance … well while distributing tacos out to the fans at ringside.
Joey Aiello: Alright here we go, our opening contest is main event calibre. In one corner we’ve got David Dreadful a promising wrestler that has the chance to really prove himself out there. In the other corner, we’ve got the undefeated former world champion Jay Cee. And tonight, we’ve got a special referee in Shadow Man.
Jeremy Piven: Yeah, we heard him peeps, we’ve got 1 and 2 for the Rumble in the Bronx early and I expect that Dreadful is about the get the win of his career.
Shadow Man refuses to start this contest before thoroughly inspecting both wrestlers for foreign objects. There is a bit of delay as Shadow Man insists that Dreadful remove his boots and socks because he suspects they may be loaded with nickels.
Joey Aiello: Shadow Man is spry as ever with that walking cast an he’s really getting into this role. Much to the chagrin of Jay Cee and Dreadful.
Dreadful puts his boots back on as Shadow Man tells Jay Cee that he may have to conduct a cavity search for a hidden baseball bat.
Jeremy Piven: This is wild, Joe.
Jay looks at Shadow with an indignant look and yells at him to just ring the bell. Shadow Man smiles and signals for the contest to finally begin. The two circle, jaw jacking as Shadow Man chats with the fans at ringside. They lock up. Dreadful with a headlock, go behind and then he ducks under Jay’s arm and then snapmares the former world champion to the mat. Dreadful laughs at Jay and asks him if that is all he has got and that he’s in trouble.
Joey Aiello: David is really that cocky going into the opening seconds of the match?
Jeremy Piven: Well he just did get the better of a legend here.
Joey Aiello: I think we’re overstating it here.
Jay shakes it off and they’re both back up, sizing one another up. The crowd suddenly starts to chant Jay’s name and it absolutely infuriates Dreadful. Jay swears he hears Shadow Man’s voice but when he turns around, Shadow is drinking from a water bottle from a cooler under the ring. They try to lock up but Dreadful ducks under and puts on a hammerlock. Waistlock, amateur style take down. He flips Jay over by his arm, Jay kips up and then arm drags Dreadful. Dreadful is back up and walks into a second arm drag takedown. As David gets up again, he takes a dropkick to the chin.
Dreadful is enraged and rolls out of the ring to argue his cage with the referee. Shadow Man listens contently as Dreadful complains about his hair being pulled. Shadow Man confers with a pocket sized EWC rule book and then grabs a microphone…
Shadow Man: Hair pulling is legal for the next 20 minutes!
Jay paces about the ring wondering what bizaro world he has been sucked into. For the third time, Dreadful and Jay lock up. Jay into a side headlock. David pushes Jay into the ropes and then out of the headlock. Jay bounces back with a shoulder tackle. He runs over Dreadful. David is back up. Dreadful tries for something maybe a crossbody but Jay uses his momentum to press his body up over his head and turns it into a gorilla press slam. Dreadful rolls and backs away to the ropes but Jay isn’t a rookie, he follows in and chops him against the ropes repeatedly. Whip into the ropes and Jay puts David into the sky again with a high back body drop.
Joey Aiello: Jay shouldn’t have been able to lay into Dreadful on the ropes like that, what gives?
Jeremy Piven: I figured Dreadful would have gotten a fast three count by now, too.
Shadow Man casually watches the action leaning against a turnbuckle away from the action. Dreadful appeals to Shadow Man about the against the ropes action and Shadow Man says that he had something in his eye just a second ago. Dreadful rolls out of the ring and circles about…trying to think of some way to get into the mindset to upset a Rumble in the Bronx winner.
Jay steps forward to the special referee and is about to bring up something to him about how he is acting when Dreadful sneaks behind with an double axe handle smash to the back of the neck. David replicates putting Jay against the ropes and lays into him with his own knife edge chops. Irish whip, reversal from Jay, but David knocks him down with a spinning back elbow. Dreadful positions Jay for a high risk move and he springboards to the turnbuckle, turns around and hits a swan dive like flying head butt on the former champ. Dreadful is back to his feet and he implores the crowd to boo him.
Joey Aiello: Dreadful by hook or crook has taken this match over. Sneaky but impressive.
Jeremy Piven: Don’t act like Jay hasn’t done it.
Shadow Man checks on Jay’s condition on whether he can continue before stepping away. Within the rules of this match, David yanks on Jay’s short hair to bring him to his feet before knocking the champ back into a corner with a stiff European uppercut. He lifts Jay up so he’s seated on the turnbuckle. David follows up and then shows off with a top rope hurricarana! Dreadful says that’s it and goes for the first cover of the match.

Jay rolls his shoulder up with a very deliberate methodical count from Shadow Man. Dreadful tells Shadow Man to watch this and count the three. Dreadful grabs an arm of Jay and leads him to the ropes, he springboards off and goes for a hurricarana … but Jay counters with a quick release powerbomb. Jay stumbles away shaking his head and Shadow Man once again is in his face asking him if he’s alright. Jay looks at him quizzically and asks him what the hell is going on and to just call the match.
Joey Aiello: I have to agree with Jay, just call the match, this match has huge implications for either man and Shadow is out there playing games.
Jeremy Piven: Well, duh.
Dreadful uses the ropes to get himself to his feet as he turns around, he gets a superkick to the jaw from Jay. David tumbles between the second and third ropes and to the outside of the ring. Jay looks to jump to the outside into David but his leg catches on the top rope and he tumbles to the outside missing David by a mile. Dreadful looks about and asks himself out loud if this is really a former world champion.
He climbs back into the rope and then as Jay is coming back, he helps him by grabbing onto the hair and pulling him onto the apron. He looks to suplex him back into the ring …
But Jay blocks it… and then lifts Dreadful over his head and drops him outside with a suplex of his own!! Jay tells Dreadful that not only is a former champion but he's the next one, too. Jay rolls the man back into the ring and then uses the apron on the outside to climb to the top turnbuckle. He signals to the crowd for perhaps his J-Sault but David cuts him with a punch to the gut. He runs up the ropes and then armdrags Jay off the top rope! Dreadful tells Shadow Man to get over her and count to three like a good little referee. Dreadful covers...

Jay kicks out again despite the tight lateral press. David pulls Jay up, Irish whip into the ropes, reversal, Jay tries to lift David in the air again but Dreadful slips behind. Waistlock. Jay tries to back elbow his way out of the hold but Dreadful ducks his head. They’re now in a belly to belly position. Dreadful tries for the obvious suplex but Jay counters with a knee to the gut and tries for a powerbomb. Dreadful slips out of it and tries for a drop toe hold on a charging Jay but the former champ steps over it. Dreadful is behind and goes for a victory roll but the Jay ducks down and lets Dreadful vault over him. Jay cinches up a full nelson and then slams him into the mat! Jay crawls over for the cover …

Shadow sees Dreadful’s foot on the rope. Jay argues about the count … being too fast!?
Jay: What are you doing, man? This isn’t a game! Just count normally!
Shadow Man: Alright alright #1.
Jay nods and turns around … to see Dreadful diving over him from the top rope into a sunset flip pin.
But Jay has too much momentum and rolls out of the pin, he immediately grabs Dreadful’s legs and locks in the sharpshooter right in the middle of the ring! Dreadful has nowhere to go … and so he has no choice… he taps and Shadow Man calls for the bell.
The winner of this match, The Elite JAY CEE!!
Jessica Stroup: The winner of this match via submission, THE ELITE, JAY CEE!!
Jay lets go of the sharpshooter and Dreadful rolls away to lick his wounds and to fight another day.
Joey Aiello: David looked impressive out there and had a lot to battle. He had to fight Jay Cee and he had to contend with a very strange referee in Shadow Man.
Jeremy Piven: Hey! Hey! Shadow Man, down in front!
Jay turns to see Shadow Man on top of the announcer’s table. Shadow Man rips the referee shirt in two … to reveal a shirt that says “I HEART JAY!” on it.
Joey Aiello: Whoa what does this mean? Is this admiration … or is Shadow Man playing more mind games with entrant #1?
Jay looks on in shock. He doesn't know what to do, so he just turns tail and walks backstage. He heads towards his locker room, but is interrupted by Ace Heart.
Ace Heart: Ladies and Gentlemen I am standing with the man who just defeated David Dreadful and the former EWC champion, the Elite Jay Cee.
The camera pans out and Jay is standing with Ace looking extremely confused.
Ace: Jay congratulations. Yet another win but this time people could argue that Shadow Man played a huge part in your victory.
Ace holds the microphone to Jay.
Jay: Well........umm.........
Jay just can't seem to focus.
Jay: Ace.......
Jay stops for a while trying to think but in the end just shakes his head. He looks at Ace and looks like he is just about to say something but Jay is speechless. Instead he just holds his arms up and shrugs his shoulders before walking away, as Brawl cuts to commercials.
