PRE-SHOW DARK MATCH
JONATHAN CROSS
Vs
CAMRYN SMITH
Before Brawl comes on the air, Jonathan Cross and Camryn Smith are facing each other in the middle of the ring. Camryn Smith gives a reasonably good account of himself, but Jonathan Cross is the one that really shines here. He is technically better gifted, and shows his dominance in an exciting show of skill and finesse. The crowd are giving both guys support, but they are far more in Cross's corner, and Cross takes full advantage if this, and ends up hitting his finishing move on Smith, and getting the three count!
The crowd cheer as Cross celebrates in the middle of the ring, and Jessica Stroup announces him as the winner.
Winner: Jonathan Cross
"We Own It" by 2 Chainz Ft Wiz Khalifa blasts in the Stadium as the show starts off with a video footage detailing historic events over the Monday Night Brawls sixteen year history. Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator and then The Rev all with the World Championship.
The opening pyros hit and here we go.
The energy in the Ice Palace is electrifying. Spotlights circle around the arena as the 14,000 fans in the venue are shown in a wide angle shot. The camera then pans out showing a full scale view of the jam packed arena and zooms in on some crazy fans.
A chant begins of

Joe Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to St. Petersburg, Russia, as the EWC European tour picks up even more steam!
Jeremy Piven: And I'll tell you all something, the bitches in Russia are H.O.T!!!
Joe Aiello: Unlike your heart Jeremy, which is ice C.O.L.D.
Jeremy Piven: What you need Joe is a vibrator and a life.
Joe Aiello: Classy Jeremy, and while I don't usually bite at your nonsensical drunken ramblings, I have to remind you that I have a penis.
Jeremy Piven: More of a mangina to be honest, but who gives a fuck.
Joe Aiello: I'm not listening to you Jeremy, so I'm going to do my job and only talk to you when necessary.
Jeremy Piven: Well fuck you very much Joe!
As Jeremy and Joey argue, the X-Tron flares up, and we go to the arena's parking lot, where we find Derek Wellings arriving late from Pulkovo Airport. A window is wide open and Derek is heard swearing as he cannot find a good space, however he notices a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster. Next to it is an empty spot; Derek quickly pulls in and avoids missing it, but barely. Suddenly, Derek opens the door quickly realizing how late he is/The door slams hard into the Mercedes-Benz, leaving a mark, Derek leans over and checks around to see he’s alone save the camera man.
Derek Wellings: Hate to be this shmuck, what a freaking loser. I mean seriously, who would park in this space knowing I haven’t arrived yet?
Derek looks up to see “RESERVED FOR PRESIDENT DANNY MAC”. Realizing he’s in trouble, Derek leaves the scene, but is jumped by Elemental X! Several stage hands see what’s going on and one of them runs to break it up. Spazz slaps a headlock on and begins choking Derek as Mike Corral clubs Derek’s back and Charlie Feigel kick him in between the legs. Element X throws Derek into the Aston Martin Vanquish, breaking a light. Before Derek can get too hurt or the Vanquish wrecked, more security run out, along with the familiar face of one time Brawl and Rampage general manager, Steven Xavier!
Jeremy Piven: Holy shit, that's Steven Xavier!
Joe Aiello: Wow, what is he doing here?
Corral dodges them and runs back into the building; while Spazz and Feigel battle with security. Xavier checks on Derek, while even more security storm on to the situation and manages to overpower the remaining members of Element X.
Steven Xavier: Derek, are you okay?
Derek Wellings: Yeah, I’m fine, but who the hell are you?
Steven Xavier: Name's Xavier, Steven Xavier to be exact, but that's not what's important right now. To cut a long story short mate, I'm in charge tonight, ok?
Derek obviously doesn't understand, so just shrugs.
Steven Xavier: Good enough. Now, if you are sure you are fine, you need to get ready for your match. As for you two, Spazz and Charlie Feigel, I want the two of you to GET THE HELL OUT OF MY BUILDING! If I see either of one of you two here tonight, I will fire you BOTH on the spot. Security, get them the Hell out of here!
Joe Aiello: For the second week in a row, we have a brutal attack on one of our roster members. I can't wait for BDC to get back so that things can start to get back to normal.
Jeremy Piven: Oh yeah, like he's going to do anything, and besides, if Xavier is here, does that mean BDC is sacked as GM? Oh God, I hope so!
Joe Aiello: No, I've just received official word that Steven Xavier is simply standing for BDC until we finish the European tour, due to BDC not being able to fly.
Jeremy Piven: That news has made me erect.
Joe Aiello . . .
Jeremy Piven: Yay, I made you speechless! And on that note folks, we'll be right back after these commercial breaks.
