The fans cheer loudly as the camera feed pans around the arena. As various attendees pump their fists and fight to be noticed, fireworks emit from each corner of the ring! The camera now pans to the announcer’s booth:
Joey Aiello: Hello and welcome to episode Four One Five of Monday Night Brawl! I am your host, Joey Aiello and beside me is the ever dangerous.. Jeremy Piven.
Jeremy Piven: You know, this place is absolutely packed tonight. Every week, the EWC has experienced a revitalization of the brand in an epic way! This week though, here in New York.. we look to be surrounded by the entire globe! I mean, there are fans as far as the eyes can see! The noise here is deafening! I think this also happens to be the largest of all the EWC Stadiums.. filled with over Seventy Thousand screaming fans
Joey Aiello: That’s right, and that’s due in part to the change of programming as of recent in my opinion. Our new General Manager has turned back the clock and brought a more classic EWC tone to the show, and I will admit I was hesitant at first to accept it.. I am starting to see the method to his madness!
Jeremy Piven: Xplode has always been a strategist. The minute that I heard that he was named General Manager of the EWC, I knew what to expect.
The lights dim down now as the fans become instantly loud! “I stand alone” by Godsmack begins to play as the fans instantly know who is about to emerge from the backstage area!
Joey Aiello: Speak of the devil! Here he comes… the destroyer of worlds himself! The general manager of EWC… XPLODE!
Jeremy Piven: This will be good.
Stepping out unto the stage area, Xplode is shown now, wearing a sharp black suit. He finds his way down the ramp way to a mixture of cheers and jeers. Stepping through the ropes, he accepts a microphone and listens to the fans as the arena literally shakes due to the feedback!
Joey Aiello: This is UNREAL! THE EWC TRULY HAS RETURNED TO GREATNESS AND IT’S BECAUSE OF THIS MAN!!
Jeremy Piven: I wouldn’t go that far President Mac has just as…
Nodding, Xplode motions for the fans to calm down. He begins to speak:
Xplode: New York.. My home away from home.
The fans pop loudly for Xplode now as he nods in respect.
Xplode: Normally I walk down to this ring and put things in perspective, making sure to point out the flaws of the cities that we are in but in this case.. I just can’t. I have always loved this city, and that won’t change.
The fans pop once more as Xplode removes his coat. He tosses it unto the mat and speaks once again.
Xplode: As most of you have noticed, the landscape has changed. The EWC has retaken it’s place as the top promotion in the business. I am sure that this is no surprise to any of you. I mean, eighteen years, eighteen glorious years and now ... now we turn things up just a little bit more, and push forward. Earlier this week, President Mac announced that we will host a battle royal tonight, and the winner will go one to main event next week's show in Detroit.. for a chance to headline Stranglemania and fight for the EWC Championship. StrangleMania will be special this year, as it will mark the culmination of the new era of the EWC. It’s the era of the X… STRANGLEMANIA X!
The fans cheer loudly as Xplode paces the ring!
Xplode: Every website is buzzing about us. The EWC is trending worldwide on Twitter even on nights we aren't on the air. Hell, all of the mainstream media outlets have had nothing but good things to say about the EWC. Speaking of media outlets, has everyone checked out this week’s Bottomline show? If you haven’t heard, I was the guest and let me tell you.. it’s some pretty damn interesting programming. So check it out. I mean, if I was you all, I would-
Suddenly, a man emerges from the stage area! The camera feed pans to the ramp as we see Damian Kingston! He looks determined as he heads in the direction of the ring!
Jeremy Piven: IT’S KINGSTON! The last few weeks, Damian Kingston has been on fire! What could he possibly hope to achieve by interrupting the GM tonight?
Stepping into the ring, Kingston accepts a microphone and glares in the direction of Xplode. Xplode returns the glare, his face looking quite irritated. Kingston begins to talk as the fans quiet down.
Kingston: Hey, X! I couldn't help but overhear your little speech tonight. I have a little problem with it though, you see, I should be the one being talked about winning a championship in the EWC. No one has been as consistent me.. period.
Xplode: I understand completely. No one has been as constipated as you. You should win an award for that. I fail to see what that has to do with a title shot?
The fans begin to laugh as Kingston glares out at them. Xplode is shown smiling as well.
Kingston: Do you think I am some sort of joke?! I want what is coming to me!!! I EARNED IT! I demand respect. Right here, right now. You talked up the Battle Royal.. but guess who that winner faces next week..? Me. So show me some respect
The fans begin to cheer loudly and gasp as Xplode looks the other way, obviously hiding his growing anger.
Kingston: I know this is a big surprise to you and all with me coming out here and making demands like I am, but I could really give a crap. I am not buying into all of stories about you and what you have done in your career. The only thing that matters to me, is that I receive what I deserve. That is-
Xplode suddenly springs to life and steps right up to Kingston as the fans cheer!
Xplode: First of all.. I would believe everything that you have heard about me. I am every bit as deadly as the rumors say I am. I am not sure if you bumped your head this morning or participated in some Drug testing clinic on your way to the arena but I am going to fill you in one something.. this isn't going to end well for you. You want respect? Well you need to show a little respect if you hope to get anywhere around here.. is that understood?
Kingston laughs as Xplode continues to speak.
Xplode: I will give you one thing though.. I have been impressed with you. As a matter of fact, I will even admit that you walking out here and getting in my face, knowing damn well that I have the ability to stuff your ass in an envelope and mail you back to whatever orphanage that you sprang out of, took some damn guts, kid. It wasn't too smart.. but it took guts. You showed me something tonight, that you are willing to do anything to be known as the best in the business.. and I recognize that. I respect it.
Kingston: Good. I am the best.. Next week I will prove it when I secure my place at StrangleMania X
Suddenly, Kurt Newman emerges from the backstage area now!! The fans cheer loudly once again as he begins to speak from the stage area!!
Newman: Woah.. wait a second here. Before Damian makes a complete fool of himself and proclaims that he is the next world champion, maybe he should try beating me first. The last time I checked, we had a date.. tonight.. in the steel cage!
Kingston: You are just another speed bump on the way to my championship, Kurt. I never forgot our match.. it just didn’t matter.
Newman: We will see about that. Hey X, don't start preparing next week's Main Event poster just yet. After I dismantle the man in that ring with you tonight, you will see things differently. I am the future of this company.. tonight I will prove it.
The fans cheer loudly as Newman stares down Kingston. Kingston returns the stare as Xplode speaks once more.
Xplode: Well it seems to me that you two have some unfinished business then. I look forward to finding out just who is ready for greatness. The man who wins this match tonight.. may just prove to be the most Hard Core wrestler we have in the locke.....
The lights in the arena slowly begin to dim as everyone in the arena quickly get's to their feet and begin to make some noise. "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper then begins to play over the Sound System as three strobe lights begin to pulse in the entrance way, fog then begins to rise from below the stage in front of the entrance.
Piven: Well this is new.. who could this be?
Aiello: I have no idea.. this is not a theme song we are used too.
Piven: I bet whoever comes out is one sexy mamma

“IT'S SHOWTIME”
An enormous uproar of cheers now blends out the blasting of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"! A few moments later Shadow Man walks from behind the wall of Fog onto the stage. He stands their for a few seconds with a smirk on his face and begins to point to the fans who are screaming the loudest.
Aiello: Holy shit
Piven: HOLY SHIT
Aiello: Shadow Man is back
Piven: HOLY SHIT
Shadow then looks towards the camera with a cocky yet confident look on his face as he begins to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. On the way he makes silly faces into the camera. He is singling along loudly with the song. After waving at the fans while walking down the ramp Shadow runs and slides onto the ring apron on one knee and holding onto the middle Rope, Shadow gets to his feet and in a cocky manor steps threw the first and second Ropes.
He then gets into the ring and runs over to the corner and jumps up onto the second turnbuckle. He pats himself on the chest twice and then points to all the screaming fans. He then points to the sky and pumps his fist for Memphis Reigns! Shadow then jumps down from the turnbuckle and turns around coming face to face to face with Xplode & Damien Kingston.
Shadow Man: Helllllllllllllllooooooooooooooo Neeeeeeeeew Yoooooooork
The city that raised Shadow Man explodes even louder then before
Aiello: Jesus.. you'd think this was a One Direction concert or something
Piven: What?
Aiello: AC/DC.. I said AC/DC
Piven: No you most certainly did NOT
Shadow Man: I'm sorry.. Xplode, but I couldn't just sit backstage listening to all this jibber jabber about who is the best and who is Hard Core. Damn Young Kings Dumb and Sir Issac Fig Newton over here wouldn't know Hardcore if it jumped up, slapped them in the face and said "Hi, I'm Hardcore.. Nice to meet you, wanna hang out and play tag or something?"
The fans laugh
Shadow Man: Lets state some facts here fellas... I am a two time King of the Cage winner. Two Time. Yah. That's more then one time.
The fans laugh
Shadow Man: I am known around here as "MISTER STRANGLEMANIA". Or perhaps you've never heard of that phenomena known only as 'ShadowMania' - HashTag That Shit on Twitter - Review StrangleMania 3, Four, 5 and Six if you need some educating. More blood has been poured out of me then... a giant swimming pool... filled with blood .................... POINT is.. I don't like the title or name 'Hardcore' being thrown around unless it applies to me. The one they call Shady
Xplode: Shady.... with all due respect.... I can handle being interrupted once.. but twice.. I don't care if you are the pope.. you don't interrupt me ever ag...
Shadow Man: Again.. see.. we finish each other's sentences.. we couldn't BE more on the same page. I mean.. the book you are writing.. boy.. I'm on it. I'm the words.
Shadow puts his hand on Xplodes shoulder
Shadow Man: You and Me.. SAME SAME
Xplode shakes his head & smirks before pushing Shadow Man's hand off of him
Kingston: Shadow, what the hell are you even doing here?
Newman: You are a legend here man, we are just trying to carve out our own little piece of history
Shadow Man: I get ... NEWMAN! ... You know... from Seinfeld? Anyways.. I'm here to send a little message.. You two can play house all you want for the EWC Championship belt.. I'm here to say that StrangleMania cannot possibly be StrangleMania without the Hardcore Title being on the line.
For YEARS the Hardcore title has rivaled the EWC Championship for top billing. Shadow Man is as Hardcore as it gets. I have been stabbed, axed, got a toaster to the face, jumped off 30 foot beems, won cage match after cage match after cage match.. I am here to stake claim to what will rightfully be mine. The Hardcore Title.
The EWC Stadium is really rocking now with cheers and chants
Shadow Man: One way or another.. I will prove that I still belong. I will earn my keep. I climb my way back to the tippy top of the Hardcore ladder.
Oh and.. Free Taco's for everyone
Suddenly 30 - 40 men and women come running out with huge cannons. They start firing them with Tacos and shooting them into the crowd
The camera pans back to the ring and Shadow Man has vanished. Xplode, Newman and Kingston are all left standing there. Xplode drops his mic and walks to the back to the cheers of the fans. Newman and Kingston stare each other down as we fade to commercial.
