(“Pain” by Three Days Grace is heard as a video package depicting the EWC superstars that are involved in the EWC Stranglemania 5 PPV airs for the first time on national television. When it ends, we see a large TV monitor with the EWC logo, a table with a cover reading “Stranglemania 5”, and the one and only FBI standing behind it. He is dressed in a black suit, and is pumped up for the PPV.)
“Hi, I’m FBI, and welcome to Stranglemania 5 – The Build Up.
Now I know that there are millions of you out there losing sleep at night because I have been replaced by Mystery Man as the co – announcer, but hey – I am here now – so there is some light at the end of the tunnel.
So without further ado, let’s begin the show with a bang!
First up we have two men who are returning to the ring after a lengthy leave of absence. In one corner we have “The Madman” Ebon, and in the other, a member of The Impact Players, Eddie Mendez.
(A video package plays and it shows Michael Saint informing Ebon that he will be in action at Stranglemania against Eddie Mendez. He then shouts, “You will be in a Crazy Train Match against a returning Impact Player”.
“Long Train Running” by the Doobie Brothers plays as the video package shows clips of Ebon’s past accomplishments and championships, and then then mirrors it with Mendez’s. It shows previous Crazy Train Matches and shows the aftermath and damage that it does to the body. It finishes with Ebon and Mendez each celebrating and it freezes with them staring straight at each other.)
“What a build up! To those who don’t understand what a Crazy Train Match is – well, prepare to be blown right out of your socks!
Both men begin the match inside of a speeding locomotive, which moves from city to city, and eventually arrives at the city that is hosting the PPV, so in this case, Los Angeles California. You can pin your opponent or make him tap out as many times as you wish before the train arrives at it’s final destination – or you can literally THROW YOUR OPPONENT OFF THE TRAIN TO CLAIM YOUR WIN!!!!!
Needless to say, neither one of these men will be the same after the match. I haven’t got a clue what’s going to happen, but no matter who wins or loses – there’s going to be a train wreck tonight!
Ok, next up is the cross brand match between Darius Miles and Nick Logan – and it is a brutal Dumpster Match![/color]
(A video package plays and shows Miles and Logan verbally laying into each other on their respective shows. It shows them beating down their opponents, then shows a dump truck in the middle, Miles on the left and Logan on the right)
“Harsh words form both men there, and they are fighting for the reputation of their brands, and to prove that they are ready to start making a step up towards championship gold.
This one will be a closely fought match. Will Darius Miles just have a little too much experience for Nick Logan? Will Logan prove to the World that he’s ready for the big time? I expect big things from both men in 2007! I’ll be right back, after this!”

“Welcome back to Stranglemania 5 – The Build Up!
Ok, so we’ve talked about Crazy Train Matches and Dumpster Matches, so let’s move on to our first title match of the evening.
In one corner we have Tommy Victor, in another we have Violator, and in YET another we have the champion Nathan Doe. All three men are going to battle it out in a straight up triple Threat Match, and it will be for the United States Championship!”
(“Sinner” by Drowning Pool plays in the video package, and it shows the three men having brutal matches on Rampage. It shows them screaming into the mic, telling the others exactly what they are going to do at Stranglemania, and it shows all three men hitting their finishing their finishers at the same time)
“Exciting stuff! Who will walk out of Stranglemania as the champ? Does Nathan Doe have what it takes to retain his title? Well, I certainly think so – but hey, what do I know? All I will say though is that this is going to be one hell of a match, and I for one can’t wait!
Now, I’ve shown you the first Rampage title match build up of the evening, so let’s move on to see what the Brawl guys have to say about that in our second Triple Threat title match of the night, and it’s between The Beast, Mr. X and the North American Champion – Tommy Aero”
(“Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson plays on the video package and it shows Max Carter declaring the people who would be involved in the match at Stranglemania. It then shows all three men really start raising their game and shows them giving their promos)
“Well, this one promises to be a Slobberknocker – sorry JR – and I have a feeling that this match is going to surprise a hell of a lot of people! All three men have raised their game to a whole new level, and don’t be surprised if these young upstarts steal the spotlight from quite a few of the upper echelon here in the EWC.
Who do I predict to walk away with the title – well wouldn’t you like to know, but one thing is for definite – ALL THREE of these men will get the push that they deserve after Stranglemania!
Continuing with our Brawl theme – up next we have the No Holds Barred International Championship match between the champ Joey Orsome and one of the newest names on Monday Night Brawl, Jay Reynolds.
(“The Blister Exists” by Slipknot booms from the video package and it shows Jay Reynolds making his Brawl debut, and shows him constantly beating down Orsome from behind. It shows Jay having the advantage over and over again, and shows Orsome losing his temper and telling Reynolds that he will have his revenge at Stranglemania)
“I haven’t seen such hate between two people since I divorced my ex – wife, but that's not important right now - this match should be off the hook!
Jay Reynolds has used sneaky guerrilla tactics since joining Brawl, but they sure have been damned effective! Orsome has continued winning match after match, but has found himself on some major beat downs after his win.
Reynolds is going into the match with the momentum, but I have a feeling that will all go out of the window once Orsome finally gets his hands around Reynolds neck, and he’s gonna want to squeeze the life out of him for everything he’s done.”

“Welcome back. Ok, so imagine the most insane match that you could, and then multiply it by ten – because that is what Sean Ferguson, our Hardcore Champion has come up with.
He likes to call it a “Rescue Assignment Match”, and it goes a little something like this.
The Hardcore title is hidden inside a car. There are three cars set up like an accident scene, and the only way to get to the title is to find the right car, find where its hidden, using rescue tools. The cars, the tools, anything inside the cars are up for grabs. And the first wrestler to hold the title in both hands is the Hardcore Champion.
Now we ALL know the hatred that is evident between both Sean Ferguson and Tim Rothman, but put them both in a match like this … and well, I don’t think that the EWC will EVER be the same again!”
(“Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol plays in the video package, and it shows the Pete’s involved in a horrific fire, and shows Sean Ferguson distraught with worry. It then show’s Tim Rothman beating Ferguson down and admitting that he was the one that caused the fire. It shows them both beating the living crap out of each other, and then Ferguson telling the world what kind of match they’d be having at Stranglemania)
“Sean “The Man” Ferguson Vs his arch nemesis, Tim “Raiju” Rothman, for the Hardcore title! This match is going to be off the chain, and neither man will be the same when it’s all said and done. I don’t know who’ll win, but I have a feeling that both men will be leaving on a stretcher!
On to the X – Division title match between the champion Jason Burgess and the challenger Draven.
Ok, there has been a lot of bad blood between Jason Burgess and, well everyone as of late, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he is an awesome competitor. So here’s the low-down of what has been happening in the build up to their match at Stranglemania.”
(“Fall Into Sleep” by Mudvayne plays in the video package and it shows Burgess winning the X – Division title from Blade, and also shows Draven becoming an Impact Player and becoming more aggressive. It shows both men involved in a brutal verbal battle, and then the screen goes black and white, with the X – Division title in the centre of the screen, Burgess on the left and Draven on the right)
“Intense stuff there! I know one thing – someone is in for a beating!
Stranglemania is one of the biggest PPV’s of the year, and we are blessed to have such a healthy and talented roster. Our superstars give their all, night in and night out, and the entire locker room have requested that we dedicate this next segment to some of the people that regrettably aren’t with us anymore.”
(“Here Without You” by 3 Doors Down plays in the video segment, and it shows the late Memphis Reigns and Ace Heart do their thing. It shows the crowd going wild each time that they are in the ring, and shows the bond that they used to share with the EWC locker room. It shows them happy and performing to the best of their ability, just as they always used to do. Comments from President Mac, Shadow Man, Mystery Man and numerous other EWC legends show over as the music plays on, and it ends with a screen shot of both men smiling and celebrating.)
“Rest in peace Memphis Reigns and Ace Heart. We miss you both.”

“Ok, so we’ve talked about the repercussions that some of the matches at Stranglemania may have for some of the individuals involved, but the next match may just be the one that has the most effect for the winner.
8 Superstars. 1 Briefcase. 1 Contract that gives a GUARENTEED World Title shot, WHENEVER they want it. Throw in a few million ladders, and get ready for a war.”
(“Animals” by Nickleback plays on the video segment and it shows President Mac declare the 8 superstars that will be involved in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at Stranglemania 5. It shows Alexander Dreadnaught, Blade, Murphy Jones, the Anarchist, Angel, Nick Sickk, Jay Cee, and BDC give their thoughts and opinions on the matter, and shows their recent battles on their respective shows. It ends with the Ladder match on last week’s Rampage, and shows all eight superstars battling it out in the middle of the ring.)
“This match means so much to each of the superstars involved, but only one can walk away with the briefcase. Who will it be? Who has what it takes to climb the ladder to success – well, there’s only way to find out, and that’s by tuning into the PPV!
Next up is the Branded 10 Man MNB Vs FN’R Tag Team Match.”
(“Radio Video” by System of a Down plays, and it shows Max Carter naming the 5 superstars that will be representing Brawl - Lance Fiennes, Jason Walker, Phillip Rocca, Hopper Rose, and Snoop Jackson.
It then shows Michael Saint declaring the 5 superstars that will be representing Rampage - Olypsius, Nathaniel Broadway, Maddog, Victor Hades, and Serial Killer.
Both GM’s tell their chosen troops that they had better not lose at Stranglemania and that there will be severe repercussions if they do.)
Just when you thought it was safe to come out of the woods – the EWC throws a match as huge as this at you! I don’t know which team will seal the win, but I feel sorry for the losing side!
Now for the first of our joint Main Events for Stranglemania”
(“It’s A Fight” by Three Six Mafia plays and it shows Shadow Man joining the Rampage roster and it shows the reaction that the news has on the World Heavyweight Champion, Cameron Hayden. It shows the verbal assault between them, and shows them having some hellacious battles over the last few weeks. It shows FORCE Vs the Impact Players, and shows the war that has been going on. It ends with Shadow Man and Cameron Hayden staring at each other with hatred.)
“Two men that hate each other – one title that means more to them than life itself – two massive egos colliding, and it’s going to a be in a brutal 2/3 Pin Falls Match with the following stipulations.
The first fall will be a straight up, No DQ match.
The second will be a Submission Match.
And, should it be needed, the final fall will be a Texas Death Match.
All of this for the World Heavyweight Championship, defended by the evil yet extremely talented Cameron Hayden against the challenger, the legendary Shadow Man
Ok, so a No DQ match – that’s self explanatory, as is the Submission match. The no DQ scenario suits Shadow Man the most due to his Hardcore background, and the Submission match suits Cameron Hayden due to his technical ability. The Texas Death Match, should it be needed, is basically a match where the loser is unable to meet a 20 count by the ref.
Imagine the amount of punishment needed to make sure that your opponent is unable to get his feet when he’s got a 20 count to play with.
I don’t know what to expect from this one – I really don’t. All I know is that it’s going to be the most brutal thing that we are ever likely to see between Hayden and Shadow Man, and I for one can’t wait!!!!
Last but by no means least, we have the second of our joint Main events at Stranglemania”
(“Best of you” by the Foo Fighters plays, and it shows a far more aggressive Jesse Nunez take the fight to the champion, Moses Lake. It shows Jesse try all kinds of sneak attacks, but Lake always seems to slightly get the edge on him. It culminates with Lake damaging Nunez’s leg, and both men lying battered and bruised on the mat.)
“Jesse Nunez has shown a wicked side to him since joining Brawl, and he has MORE than earned himself a shot at the EWC Heavyweight title. Moses Lake is an amazing champion, and has fought off all challenges so far, but does he have what it takes to fend off the young and hungry Nunez?
To make matters a little more interesting, Max Carter has made this match a triple Cage Match, and may the Lord have mercy on their souls! Bones WILL be broken, souls WILL be consumed, and dreams WILL be shattered for one man when the smoke has cleared and all is said and done.
All in all folks, we are in for one HELL of a PPV, and I for one can’t wait!
Thanks for watching.
I’m FBI, good night!”
