WELCOME TO FUTURE STARS OF WRESTLING!!
Hanzo Kirigaya vs the debuting Kitamura Miyoshi was everything you would expect in Japanese strong style. Both wrestlers went at each other with hard shots, technical moves and reversals, and Hanzo giving the rookie some ring lessons. However, Hanzo went a little too far, and let Kitamura slip out of one of his moves, and Miyoshi caught Hanzo with the Fallout Driver and the surprising pinfall win!
Nidhogg and Manik Mmercer, two debuting FSW stars matched up in this big man on big man showdown. Both men traded the heavy firepower early and often. NIdhogg got an early advantage and started tio wail on Manik, but he powered back up into the fight, and after another round of back and forth, Manik pulled through with a pair of Manik Bombs to seal the victory.
Alexandra Larson: “I'm sure few of you actually know who I am - my name is Alexandra Larson. Now, for a few of you, that might ring a bell, so let me shed some light; I come from a family of professional wrestlers. My mother, my father, my grandfather- they've all been a part of this business, and from an early age, I was trained to follow in their footsteps. Now, my family's legacy and the name might not be as prominent, or as important to some of you as, say... the Flair's or the Guerrero's, but it's something I'm very proud of nevertheless. But as I look around I can tell some are already starting to formulate your opinions about me simply based on that, maybe they think I’m just here because of my last name?. Or, or maybe it's how I look? Maybe it's the fact that appearance wise...little old me just doesn't fit in? ”
Jeremy Warren, also debuting tonight, faces off against the stalwart Nanako Gozen. Gozen got off to a hot start, but the fireman turned up the heat, to coin a phrase, and quickly took the fight back to Gozen, showing off his arsenal. Though his inexperience showed a bit, Warren quickly handled Gozen, finishing er with a 3rd Alarm to get his first win in EWC
We go to the locker rooms where A$hley Quid is sitting back on a couch passing the time in front of a monitor by trying to throw playing cards into a small trash can. The floor is littered with cards but she finally makes one in and raises her hands in the air. Then Hatchet Gully comes in and sets his stuff down. A$hley springs into action and puts a back pack next to him.
Hatchet Gully: The hell is this?
A$hley Quid: Look inside.
He does and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles, nunchucks and a fork.
Hatchet Gully: Aight, yo, once again. What the hell is this, girl?
A$hley Quid: Just some insurance, yeah? I figure if you're gonna get jumped today, you might as well protect yourself.
Hatchet Gully: I don't think I'll need all of this.
He pulls out a switchblade and springs it open while looking at her with a bemused smile. She shrugs and he puts the weapons away.
Hatchet Gully: Xavier Rollins feels secure cause he got his backup. I don't need no backup. I feel secure 'cause I know that he's a punk bitch and they I'm gonna kick all they asses if they step up. I don't need no squad to hold me down. I'm a one man army, girl. Just need these fists and my head, yo.
A$hley Quid: I'll be there.
Hatchet Gully: Yeah, like I said, girl. That's all I need. Don't worry about me. Just worry about how we gonna celebrate afterwards. I'm itchin' to get back in the ring after so long. Gonna need to unwind so hard when the matches are over. Have some confidence in your boy.
A$hley Quid: Alright, alright. I got you.
Hatchet Gully: Cool. Let's go.
They both leave the room but before A$hley leaves she stops and goes back to get the bag of weapons. She nods and puts it on her shoulder then follows him out.
Xavier Rollins and Hatchet Gully put on a show for Toronto. Both men opened up the match slowly, feeling each other out, but quickly Rollins turns up the heat, quickly trying to go for The Answer, but Hatchet countered that attenpt, and quickly turned it all around on Xavier, hitting him with the Hidden Path to Shangri-La, getting the win.
Nick James and Otaki showcased the best of what FSW can be. This match went back and forth, with many a near fall, plenty of moves and counter moves, reversals and hard hitting moves. Neither combatant could truly gain an upper hand unti the end, but at that moment...the crowds reaction begins to intensify as the FSW Champion, Amis Shelton, suddenly enters the ring! Tossing his FSW Championship to the corner, Amis grabs Otaki and throws her into the steel ring-post shoulder first. Otaki staggers backwards, only to be picked up into an Electric Chair position by Amis. Amis grabs Otaki's head and then drives her to the mat, completing the Highwind Crash.
Amis turns around and notices Nick James charging towards him. Amis ducks under the clothesline attempt and nails Nick with a devastating roundhouse kick, Amis spins and finishes off the Dream Eater combination with an elbow smash to the side of Nick's head which sends him flopping to the mat. Amis then shoves both competitors out of the ring with his boot.
A chorus of boos emanate from the crowd as Amis Shelton picks up his FSW Championship and holds it up into the air. He requests a microphone from the staff and taps it repeatedly once it has been given to him. He raises his title in the air as he speaks.
Amis FN Shelton: You really didn't think that the season premiere of FSW would end without having the champion show up, did you? You didn't really think that I'd just forget about this place now that I'm apart of Monday Night Brawl?
I'm the man around here and I've been the man since day one when I stepped foot into this company. This title that's on my shoulder proves that I'm the man and what you just saw is a reminder for those who have clearly forgotten.
Otaki you are an EMBARRASSMENT to this brand! You were nothing more than a spectator in the main event of WrestleFest.
Nick James, what you did at WrestleFest was the stupidest mistake you've made in your entire career. You caught me off guard, I'll admit that much, so consider this a small taste of payback. I will make you regret the day you even THOUGHT about messing with me.
And as for the rest of you clowns in the backstage locker room. Take a good freakin' look at me right now. You're looking at the man who's elevating this brand. Amis Shelton IS FSW and as long as I have possession of this championship, I am not going anywhere. Good night.
Amis tosses the microphone out of the ring and poses with his FSW Championship once more. The show comes to a close with Amis shouting "I'm the real fuckin' deal!"
