-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Future Stars of Wrestling comes online live from the Reno Events Center, the sounds of a firetruck siren breaks the cheers of the sold out crowd. Everyone's attention turns to the entrance stage, where a single red spotlight spins in circle. A few moments later, Foo Fighter's "My Hero" blasts out loud from the loudspeakers, a thick white smoke covering the ramp. As it thins out, Jeremy Warren is standing proudly at the centre of the stage, wearing a pair of black jeans and a black shirt, proudly showing the FSW Championship tightly wrapped around his waist. He slowly walks down the ramp, shaking hands and taking pictures with some lucky fans along the way before evenually climbing the steps and entering the ring. He gets a microphone from a ringside crew member, waiting for the cheers to fade down before bringing it to his lips.
"Well, let me tell you, it feels good to be the champ!!"
A thunderous ovation echoes his words.
"If someone, anyone, told me two months ago, when I first stepped into the FSW ring that I was going to take Amis Shelton's title at Hardcore Revolution, I would have laughed so hard...
But, here we are, it happened. And it happened so fast, I still find it hard to believe it. Even too fast, according to some."
He takes a small pause, twirling the microphone in his hand.
"I heard the rumors spreading backstage, some talents feel like I have been handed my chances, that I didn't actually earned the right to be called a champion, that I am still just a rookie who had a lucky night... Or two.
Well, make it five then.
Five, like the times I entered this ring and left it undefeated.
But I guess this is what you get when you're the champion. Everyone starts looking at you in a different way, coming at you from any angles, trying to get under your skin in so many different ways, hoping to take you off your game..."
A smirk comes across his face.
"Well, you don't need any of that bud. I'm not an hard man to find, I am right here, tonight, the next one and the one after that, in this very ring. Step up and let's see if I am really a flash in the pan.
As for tonight, I am set to face Hachet Gully. Someone I already beat a couple of weeks ago, someone who thought his experience, all those years of fighting and training could be of any help in our match.
The truth is, and I already proved it more than once, is that Future beats Past.
Every. Single. Time.
Like it or not, and these fine people in Nevada are definitely liking it..."
A cheap pop follows the mention of the home state of the crowd.
""... What you see here, is what the present and future looks like. Got any problems with that?"
He smirks at the camera.
"Come try and play with fire..."
"Real dang cute."
Hatchet Gully slowly comes out from the back wearing his Royal Court jacket with the 8 of Diamonds followed by a clapping A$hley Quid.
"Your little fire puns and the engine and all that good guy talk, yo, is real cute. I bet it gets these ladies mild. I guess congratulations are in order anyway. So congratulations... to Manik Mercer for distracting me enough for this guy to get the win in our match. And congratulations... to Otaki for occupying Amis Shelton's time enough for Warren to sneak away with the FSW championship. My point is that you have never faced me one on one like you will tonight. The only person you can beat one on one is Mercer and lemme tell you somethin, that ain't hard.
"Tonight you gonna face me. Alone. In that ring. Wins and losses won't matter. That's what dumb green boys like you latch onto when you know you don't got no real talent to speak of. Especially the lucky undefeated ones. I'm gonnna show you what grit really is, boy, and what it takes to be a real wrestler, bot a fireman playin' at one. Just you and me. I'll show you why that belt don't belong to you."
He takes a few steps forward as Warren beckons him to the ring they glare at each other. Finally, A$hley puts a hand on his shoulder and he stops as the fans boo.
Warren looks straight into his eyes, unwrapping the FSW Championship and raising it over his head, without saying a word. The camera closes up on his face, a confident smile crossing it as his lips move, mouthing.
"Bring it on!"
We fade then to the next segment
OPENER
international Incident Vs Beauty & the Beast
The opening match starts with the debuting Intl. Incident facing Beauty & the Beast, with our first look at Monsoon, who was a major factor, as he did most of the heavy lifting against Eiffel & Sickel, with Vera Red getting some shots in. II manages to get some offense in when they trap Vera in the match, but as soon as she escapes and tags in Monsoon, the end was in sight. Sickel took a huge Monsoon's Tune, and that was the end, as B & B gets the win.
MATCH 2
KRISTIAN BANE Vs KRUZER
Two struggling men look to get off their respective losing streaks against each other as Bane and Kruzer lock up. Kruzer takes the early advantage, but doesn't hold it long, as Bane seemingly overwhelmed him with offense. Kruzer fights back, but Bane this time was too much, putting the cap on this match with a Bane Effect to get the victory
MATCH 3
LEXIE GLASS Vs BROWN EYED HUNTRESS
These two ladies took it to each other with no hesitation. Lexie and BEH went for the money shots early and often, giving each other their best, wanting this win badly. BEH hit Lexie with a couple of Shotguns, but it still wasn't enough to put Lexie down. Lexie fought back and managed to lock in an STF, but BEH managed to fight out. Wounded and weary, both ladies went for the kill, but Lexie managed to escape BEH and hit her Glass Cutter for a well earned victory
MATCH 4
THE DARK CROSS Vs ELLE EFFIE NEWCOMBE
FSW newbie Elle Effie took on the re-imagined Kasey Cross, billing herself as "The Dark Cross". TDC came out with a more sinister demeanor, and it showed in her work. Elle was definitely taken off her game by the new look Cross, who took advantage. Cross went in early and often, and Elle couldn't bring it back, taking a KC Dropper, and Cross gets the win.
MATCH 5
CREED Vs BISHOP KROFT
Creed and Kroft went at it like two big bulls in a china shop. Both men fought hard, trading blows in the early going, but the young Kroft was little match for the vet Creed, as he took his time in breaking down Kroft. Creed worked Kroft over with hard hits and slams, finally wearing Kroft down enough to hit Poetry in Motion and getting the win.
Hatchet Gully and the NEW FSW Champion Jeremy Warren started the night ready to fight, and before the match even began, they were hot after each other fighting. Gully and Warren fought all the way around the arena, up the aisles, down the ramp, backstage and even out into the next door casino. Eventually they fought so much that the Reno PD were called in to break them up. Both men were brought back to the arena, and they started fighting again, out to the ring, but not once getting in the ring, tearing up the ringside area with fists, random weapons, broken barricades, scattering the announce team as both men continued to battle. Finally, James Tyson comes out with a football team's worth of security to break the two men up.
Tyson: That's it...that's it...that's it!! You two have torn up this arena and damn near half of Reno going at each other! You two have robbed this crowd of what should have been a great main event! THe FSW champion on his first show as champ and this is what I get from you Warren? Hatchet...you're a top tier man here...I expected better from both of you.
James stops and stares at the both of them, who have finally calmed down to actually hear what the FSW GM is saying.
Tyson: StrangleMania is coming up in a couple of weeks. FSW will have two matches on that card. The first match will see Creed take on Kristian Bane in a first blood match.
The crowd oohs at that, knowing Creed's history and Bane's fire.
Tyson: And since you two have such fire for each other...at StrangleMania, our new champion Jeremy Warren will defend his title against Hatchet Gully....in a RING OF FIRE MATCH!
Big pop from the crowd, as both Gully and Warren look at each other, acknowledging that it's on, with Tyson in the background taking it in as the show comes to a close
