[The following is a pre-recorded message created by Moors Murders Productions and paid for by the Kray Twins]
Highlights from last Rampage’s inferno scaffold tag team match play, showing the Moors Murders taking down Jason Hunter and Freddie Styles, representatives of the Royal Court. We see the two members of the Court fall into the flames, and the footage ends with a lingering shot of the Moors Murders celebrating their victory.
The footage fades away and we enter a new scene, one filled with drab greys and an overwhelming amount of black. The camera pans across a small seated crowd of mourners, their heads bowed as they sit in silence. From the small glimpses we get of the setting, it appears to be a church, with crosses and images of Biblical figures standing in the background. But before we can focus on the holy, we are presented with the opposite: Toni Gunn and Harvey Yorke stand atop the church altar, dressed in what to them are probably their best suits, but to any sane person would be considered a display of disrespect due to the sheer lack of ironing of the clothes alone. Around their waists are the EWC Tag Team Championships.
Toni Gunn: Ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today to remember the fallen of the Extreme Wrestling Corporation. Both figuratively and literally. Last week, the company not only lost two members of its Rampage roster, but an entire stable lost what little credibility it had.
The two step aside, revealing the portraits of Jason Hunter and Freddie Styles behind them. Though they aren’t your typical funeral portraits - these ones are styled as if the duo have been brutally beaten. An artist’s rendition of what they looked like post-Rampage.
Harvey Yorke: Indeed, Ms. Gunn. During the last episode of Rampage, the world witnessed the deaths of both Freddie Styles and Jason Hunter. They believed they could be valiant and try to dethrone us, but alas, the sacrifice just did not pay off. Now, their souls, their bodies - whatever’s left of them of course - and their careers are collectively gathered to rot in Hell for eternal damnation.
Some of the mourners gasp at Harvey's concluding statements. Toni Gunn, however, signals towards them, telling them to be quiet.
Harvey Yorke: Which is why we are gathered here today. We must remember these two men, as well as the sacrifices they have made for the Extreme Wrestling Corporation.
Silence falls over the church, as the mourners bow their heads once more. As people attempt to honour Jason and Freddie, they can’t help but be disturbed by the sound of light coughing - followed by abrupt and violent throat-clearing - from Toni. The silence ends, and the funeral continues.
Toni Gunn: Now that we are done remembering what little there is to remember about the Royal Court, we will remain respectful as we bring in the caskets that contain the approximate amount of dead weight that the two were for the tag team division.
Toni gestures over to the nearby organist, and upon seeing her silent order, they begin to play. Though it is not the traditional funeral march. Instead, the sound of an organ version of ‘Highway to Hell’ fills the church, much to the Moors Murders’ delight. The doors to the church open and not long after, the two caskets are carried inside. Most of the people carrying them are nameless nobodies, though Ricki Kray and Xander Healy are amongst them, seemingly begrudgingly judging by their faces. Behind the caskets is Rebecca Kray, and she takes a seat with the rest of the mourners as the caskets are carried up to the altar. Once they are down and the pallbearers are seated, the Moors Murders continue.
Harvey Yorke: It is with great joy that we look upon these coffins and--
Before he can continue, a woman jumps up from the crowd of mourners and runs onto the altar, a black veil concealing her identity. Toni is quick to grab her before the woman can touch the caskets, and she pulls back the veil.
Toni Gunn: Aurora Styles.
More like a lookalike. Yes, a lookalike of Freddie Styles’ wife. Not a very good one either, but the budget for this segment was already blown on renting the church out and buying the caskets.
Aurora Lookalike: I just...I can’t believe he’s gone--
Toni Gunn: There’s no use in crying. Freddie is a different man now. He’s dead.
The lookalike lets out an exaggerated wail - we can see where all the money for her acting classes went - and she clings onto Toni, burying her face in the blonde’s shoulder. Toni gestures for Harvey to continue, rolling her eyes as she half-heartedly comforts the lookalike.
Harvey Yorke: I believe it is in everyone’s best interests if we move onto the cremation. Clearly emotions are running high, and we need to all let go together, with the help of the cleansing flames. Not as cleansing as the ones on Rampage that claimed Jason and Freddie, but they will serve their purpose.
We then see that he is holding a can of lighter fluid in his hand - he must have gotten it whilst Toni was preoccupied with ‘Aurora’. He begins to pour the fluid over the caskets, using a decent amount for each. After Toni sends ‘Aurora’ on her way with a chaste kiss - they’re at a funeral, it’s time to show some respect for Christ’s sake - she pulls out a book of matches from her jacket pocket and sets one alight.
Toni Gunn: Rest in peace, Royal Court.
She drops the match onto one of the caskets, and it goes up in flames. They dance around, full of life - unlike those the coffins symbolise. Passing the matchbook over to Harvey, Toni smirks as she watches her tag partner light up a second match.
Harvey Yorke: And long live the Moors Murders.
He drops it onto the second casket, and it too is set alight. As the flames rise higher, the duo stand back and survey their work, as much fire in their eyes as there is in the church. The camera closes in on the flames, and through the fire we see the portraits of Jason and Freddie. Fade to black.
