The fans are shown smiling, laughing, and pumping their fists in excitement
The show is live... and the excitement is at a fever pitch!
A chorus of boos begin to shower down as Victor Price enters the ring
Bennett: San Jose sure knows how to boo .. they'd be used to that after seeing the Sharks shit the bed season after season
Carter: You really have it in for the Sharks don't you?
Bennett: Go Penguins mother fucker
Price pauses for a moment as the boos get louder and louder then cuts them off
Victor: Good evening San Jose and our millions of viewers world wide watching on EWCTV, or other affiliate networks
Victor smirks as the boos continue
Victor: It seems no matter what I do .. I just can't seem to please you people .. until today
Aiello: Is he announcing his retirement?
Bennett: You wish
Victor: Drake ..
The fans begin to cheer and chant the EWC Undisputed Champions name
Aiello: The people love their Champion and for good reason
Victor: I was trying to say .. Drake has been the EWC Undisputed Champion for 140 straight days as of today .. despite my efforts to try and shake him, to try and break him, to try and rattle that sum bitch .. Drake keeps knocking down every opponent I put in front of him.
Fans cheer for Drake as a montage appears on the Titan Tron of his recent victories
Aiello: Is this .. Victor turning a corner here? Has he seen the light?
Victor: So I've decided to change my approach to this situation. Clearly I keep putting my faith in the wrong people. You all saw how quickly Amis Shelton went from Champion to Jobless in a matter of weeks. So how do I make the same thing happen for Mr Drake?
Carter: Nope, he's still an asshole
Bennett: Shh .. the grownups are talking
Victor: So I called up Friday Night Rampage General Manager Michael Saint .. he and I had a long talk .. and I decided to ignore all of his bull shit and run with my new idea. Instead of me hand picking some historical fuck up to take on Drake .. I am going to have the Brawl and Rampage Roster decide for themselves
Aiello: What?
Victor: In August .. Brawl and Rampage will each hold a mini tournament to decide who will face Drake for the EWC Championship at Night of Champions XIV on August 28th. The tournament will span Brawl #488, Rampage #419 and Brawl #489. This way we will get the right man or woman for the job .. and .. well .. we shall see if Drake can stand the test at that time
Aiello: Interesting
Bennett: I like it
Victor: That's all I had to say .. Brawl & Rampage Superstars, you are on notice. If you want in on the tournament .. you know how to find me. You have ten days
Victor drops the mic and heads back up the ramp
Aiello: Well there you go .. a three night tournament to decide who will face Drake at Night of Champions XIV. Wow .. did not expect that tonight
Carter: Folks we will be back with our first match of the night .. right after these messages

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
SALEM SHEPARD
VS CYRUS BLACK
VS NOSTALGIA
SALEM SHEPARD
VS CYRUS BLACK
VS NOSTALGIA
Aiello: And on that note our first match is coming right up!
Jessica Stroup: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS A TRIPLE THREAT MATCH AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!! INTRODUCING FIRST FROM THE DARKEST PITS OF OAKLAHOMA....
Blue flames shoot out from both sides of the darkened ramp as the howling growls blast from the PA. Salem appears from the smoking flames, excitement on his painted face, eyes wide as the walks to the ring ignoring the fans on both sides.
Jessica Stroup: ...STANDING AT SIX FOOT THREE INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN POUNDS...
The Schizophrenic one slides into the rope and hops to his feet, shooting a wild, psychotic grin at the crowd as he paces the ring.
Jessica Stroup: SALEM "SSSSCCCHHHHIIIIZZZZZOOOOOOO" SSSSHHHHEEEPPPPAAAARRRRRDDDDD!!!!
Bennett: That is one demented ICP Reject right there!
Aiello: The man has a rep for being one of the most twisted psychos on the independant scene today.
Carter: But now he's in the big yard, The Extreme Wrestling Corporation and it's a whole different level of competition here.
Jessica Stroup: THE NEXT COMPETITOR IN THIS MATCH...
The whole arena goes dark for a moment, a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and music plays from the PA system.
"Life is a mystery..."
The silhouette of a man moves into the spotlight, arms raised above his head as he starts to clap.
"And it feels like home..."
The lights go up around the arena, two red pyrotechnics go off at either side of the stage as the chorus hits
"When you call my name
it's like a little prayer..."
Jessica Stroup: ...FROM CARSON CITY, NEVADA!!!
Cyrus starts clapping as he merrily skips from one side of the entrance ramp to the other, looking out at the sea of fans, goading them to clap along with him. Cyrus makes his way down the entrance ramp, engaging with fans along the way, dishing out high fives and hugs as he jives his way to the ring.
"I'm down on my knees
I want to take you there..."
Sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring, Cyrus shuffles from one corner buckle to another, continuously banging the palms of his hands together as the fans are on there feet clapping with him,
"Just like a prayer you know,
I'll take you there...".
Cyrus casually leans against the ropes, with a cheesy grin on his face.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX FEET AND TWO INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY POUNDS. CYRUS BBBBBBLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCK!!!!!
Aiello: The fans clearly are digging what Cyrus is selling here.
Bennett: He looks like a scrub who should be shining my shoes! Get that bum outta' here!
Carter: Cyrus made a name for himself as the Carson City Kid on the independant circuit across the country and there are several of his fans in attendance tonight.
Bennett: Yeah, so what? Like you said about Crazy J, this is the big leagues!
Aiello: You haven't had your coffee yet, have you Bennett?
Bennett: No, the machine in the back was broke and I'm not a happy Predator!
Jessica Stroup: AND THE FINAL COMPETITOR IN THIS MATCH!!! FROM PINE BARRENS, NEW JERSEY....
‘Game of Thrones’ – Ramin Djawadi echoes throughout the arena for a few seconds before Nostalgia walks onto the ramp from backstage with arms above his head forming an X. As he gets to the center of the stage, he brings his arms down and taps on his chest twice, then throws his arms out before taking a knee. Pyrotechnics explode around him, after a few seconds Nostalgia explodes through the pyrotechnics and raises throws his right fist in the air with pride, giving the fans the chance to notice his black T-shirt displaying Nostalgia sitting on the Iron Throne featured on the hit show Game of Thrones, with a Great Horned Owl on his arm. He jogs down the ramp, hops on the apron, then over the ropes. He walks to the center of the ring walks around peering into the crowd before taking his corner. He seemingly doesn't even acknowlege his opposition standing in opposing corners.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX FEET AND SEVEN INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT THREE HUNDRED AND SEVEN POUNDS... NNNNNNOOOOOOSSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAGGGGGGIIIIIIAAAAAAA!!!!
Bennett: Wow... Now that's a guy who can make an impression!
Aiello: Really now?
Bennett: Yeah this kid screams class act in my book.
Carter: There you have it folks, the Predator seal of approval!
Bennett: Even heard one of his nicknames is the Prophet of Pain. You can't go wrong with a name like that.
All three men square off as the Referee slips into the ring. After reading them a quick rules rundown, he motions for the bell.
DING DING DING
Aiello: Black keeping Schizo Shepard at bay, but Nostalgia merely hangs back.
Bennett: He's playing the smart game here, letting his rivals wear themselves out before tearing them apart.
It seems like Cyrus was having none of this, however as he spins towards Nostalgia with a bit of a dancer's flare, only to fake high and go low with a series of body kicks that manage to catch the big man off guard.
Carter: Cyrus is clearly not going to let that happen, taking the fight right to the big man!
Nostalgia swings with a backhand and Cyrus ducks the strike. He back peddles as the high class monster takes swing after swing, Cyrus dodging each and every blow with grace and speed. Nostalgia goes for a grapple and Cyrus ducks his arms, so slip in behind him and give his ass a HARD slap!!
Bennett: Did he just...?
Aiello: Yep, he slapped that ass.
Cyrus ducks and spins away from another backhand attempt by Nostalgia while mouthing, "Too Fast For You?!" Having his attention diverted so long, however, he fails to notice that Salem Shepard climbing onto the turnbuckle from the ring apron. A warning shout from a fan has him turning just as Salem leaps into the air and catches him with a diving neckbreaker off the top rope!
Carter: Ooooooh Salem Shepard back into the match with a diving neckbreaker! Cyrus paying the price for ignoring the Schizophrenic one!
Bennett: Ya' can't trust those Juggalo Sons o' bitches!
Salem rolls to his feet with Cyrus sitting up on impact, clutching at his neck. Nostalgia promptly kicks him straight in the face with an angry roar. Then together he and Salem start to put the boots to Cyrus!
Aiello: Nostalgia and Salem now ganging up on the downed Cyrus Black!
Bennett: Stomp the piss outta' that Jobroni!!!!
Carter: They don't need any prompting from you, Steve.
Salem accidentally stomps on Nostalgia's foot and the big man, growls with pain, then catches the unaware Salem with a brutal standing clothesline that rocks him right off his feet!
Bennett: HOLY CRAP!!! The Juggallo just made the biggest mistake of his life and they are gonna' be collecting his teeth from the front row!
Carter: Clearly an knee jerk reaction, Salem stepped on Nostalgia's foot while stomping away at Cyrus Black and took one hell of a hit for his troubles!
Aiello: Alliances never last long in these encounters!
Nostalgia gathers Salem up on one shoulder and gets a fast walking start before tossing Salem up and towards the turnbuckles. The man's chin clips the top turnbuckle, his head snapping back on impact and leaving a small white smudge of face paint on the black buckle cover.
Bennett: Snake eyes, you lose, Juggie boy!
Aiello: And now Nostalgia is gathering a still dazed Cyrus Black up by the scruff of his neck....
...He hoists Cyrus up just as Aiello had stated, kicks him in the gut, scoops him up, turns and runs to the center of the canvas, Power slamming Cyrus onto the canvas and hooking the leg for a quick pin.

TWO-BREAK UP!!!
Carter: Power slam and a pin finish interrupted by Salem Shepard who is now putting the boots to a rising Nostalgia!
Nos gets to his feet despite the repeating stomps from Salem and promptly goes for a boot to the chest. Despite actually catching the foot with his hands, Nos's power proves too great, sending Salem falling back. The face painted Schizo back rolls on impact, getting right to his feet and rushing straight for Nostalgia. He cracks Nostalgia with several roughneck punches to the chest and face, only driving the big man back one step before eating a hard clubbing clothesline to the back, immediately dropping him to the canvas!
Aiello: Nostalgia is looking really strong against his opposition here and has been fairly dominant in this match up!
Meanwhile, a recovered Cyrus springboards off the nearby middle turnbuckle and catches Nostalgia in a headlock, his weight just enough to bring the big man's head crashing to the canvas with a little move he calls....
Carter: Cyrus Black with a Lucky Star comeback, brings the giant down but for how long?
As Cyrus jumps up, doing a little dance, he's caught from behind by Salem Shepard with a low blow that is promptly turned into a schoolboy roll up to cover up the act!

TTTHHHRRR-KICKOUT!!!
Cyrus just barely manages to power out of the pin attempt, quickly rolling onto his side while clutching at his hurt groin...
Aiello: Dirty pool almost one the match here!
Bennett: What do you mean? It was a schoolboy rollup and Salem didn't even get a handful of tights!
Carter: No the low blow he just covered up with that Schoolboy roll up, genius.
Bennett: You can't prove that in a court of law!
Salem gets back to his feet and immediately eats a staggering right hook to the jawline from a freshly recovered Nostalgia, followed by a spin and Clothesline from Hell follow up!!
Bennett: and there's the punchline!!!
Cyrus seemingly is unable to rally himself from the hard groin shot, trying as he might to get back up. In the meantime, Nostalgia gathers the dazed Salem Shepard up, boots him hard in the gut and lifts him into a Fireman's Carry. With a wild spin, he then brings Salem Shepard crashing down skull first to the canvas with a transition piledriver he calls...
Carter: PALOV'S BELL! THIS MATCH IS OVER!!!
He then rolls Salem onto his back for the pinfall as Cyrus fights to pull himself up with the ropes!

TTTTHHHHHRRR-BREAK UP!!!
Aiello: Cyrus Black saving this match and returning the favor, breaking up the pinfall on Salem Shepard this time!
Carter: Salem is clearly out cold from that slam!
Nostalgia gets up, enraged at being so close and denied victory. He turns towards Cyrus who clearly is still feeling the effects of the low blow schoolboy rollup by Salem earlier and latches a hand around Cyrus's throat! He immediately goes for the lift, intending for a spinebuster finish, but instead Cyrus throws his legs around the neck and arm of Nostalgia and brings him to the canvas with a modified bridging Triangle Choke he calls....
Aiello: Cyrus Black locks on with Papa Don't Preach!!!
Bennett: GET OUT OF IT NOS!! YOU'RE TOO CLASSY FOR THIS!!!
The hold is hooked too deep and before Nostalgia even knows it, he finds himself starting to black out. Out of instinct, he promptly taps Cyrus Black's leg, ending the match before he suffers permanent brain damage due to a lack of oxygen combined with potential shoulder dislocation.
DING DING DING!
Jessica Stroup: YOUR WINNER BY SUBMISSION; CCCCCCYYYYYRRRRUUUUUSSSS BBBBBBLLLLLLAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCK!!!!
Cyrus immediately releases the hold and rolls to his feet with a fist in the air, his music playing loud and proud over the P/A system! He then promptly starts dancing to the beat while clapping his hands, the crowd joining in.
Aiello: An impressive debut victory by Cyrus Black, making the monster Nostalgia tap out to that dangerous submission hold!
Carter: There's something going on backstage, apparently, camera six going live!
Vinnie can be seen backstage with an empty mail bag, he stares at the camera with a big smile upon his face
Vinnie: Right now this mail bag is empty, but that will soon change. You see, I am a man of the people... and the people have a broad range of interest. And I'm the one that will bring those interests together to one big pile of.... Vinnieficated Success!!!
Vinnie throws the mail bag over his shoulder and grins as he continues to stare into the camera.
Vinnie: What that will mean is this, next week I will answering all of your questions and I will fulfill your wishes. And it doesn't matter how strange or weird your requests are... I will fulfill them and make you all one big happy family of Vinnie's. So please send in your questions and I will make them all come true!!! Except when your name is Andrew Jackson, because you my friend will have the answer to your question beforehand... You are going to lose!!!!
Vinnie nods his head before turning his attention to the door before stopping and turning back to the camera for a final time>
Vinnie: OH and before I forget, I do love chocolate cookies.
With that Vinnie walks off as the camera shot turns back to ringside.
Aiello: This guy is strange.
ABRAHAM FROST
VS RYAN HURT
VS RYAN HURT
Aiello: For our second match tonight, we have Abraham Frost taking on Ryan Hurt. Let's go to Jessica for the introductions.
Jessica Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first from New York City, New York. Weighing in at 210 pounds, Ryan Hurt!
The lights turn off and "Up and Downs" by Crystal Lake hits the speakers. The lights come back on and Ryan Hurt comes out of the curtains, psyched up and on a mission. He stops on the ramp to look around the arena and smirks. He quickly makes his way up the steps, jumps over the ropes and does some vicious striking practice as his song pauses.
Stroup: And his opponent from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 320 pounds. "The Nightmare" Abraham Frost!
"The Nobodies by Marilyn Manson plays and Abraham Frost makes his way down the ramp. He walks up the steps and steps over the ropes, coming face to face with Hurt in the center of the ring.
Carter: These two look ready to square off, neither man giving an inch.
Bennett: I don't know how many stare-downs you're gonna win against Frost.
DING! DING! DING!
The bell sounds and Hurt fires off a right hand that is blocked by Frost. Abraham wraps his hand around Hurt's throat and lifts him up. Ryan breaks the hold with a kick to the mid-section and a swinging neckbreaker, dropping Frost to the mat. Both men get to their feet and Hurt ducks under a clothesline. Ryan bounces off the ropes and comes back with a running bicycle knee that sends Frost into the ropes. Hurt takes a step back and comes flying in with another knee but get caught mid-air by Frost. The Nightmare drops Hurt to the mat with a front slam, holding him down for the pin.

Carter: Hurt is not backing down from the 6'8" monster.

The camera pans to a Man weirdly dressed walking through the SAP Center looking lost.
He looks around and sees Drew Stevenson, Prime Superstar .. He is throwing shadow punches, getting ready for his match. He walks over to him
Man: Drew! Drew Stevenson!
Drew looks around for the source of the commotion. He spots the man and scans him.
Drew: And who might you be?
Man: Oh I apologize, My name is Newmann, the newest signed superstar to Brawl!
Newmann extends his hand for Drew to shake. Drew looks at it for a good second before reluctantly giving in and shaking his hand. They both retract there hands.
Newmann: Well good luck in your match tonight Drew!
Drew: Thanks, I appreciate that. Welcome to the EWC man
Newmann walks off as Drew continues to prepare for his match
TAG TEAM MATCH
GAINES BROTHERS
VS USA-STEEL
GAINES BROTHERS
VS USA-STEEL
Aiello: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a tag team match!! Between the tag team of Mr. USA and Harvey Steel, better known as USA-Steel against the team of the Gaines Brothers!
Bennett: Something tells me that these two teams aren’t fishy, I know the USA-Steel are weird, but these two brothers??
Carter: They are all four competitors and they all want to fight!! And you are the last one to judge a book by it’s cover!!
Jessica: The following match is scheduled for one fall and it is a tag team match!!!
Born In The USA/Whisper in the Dark’ remix plays out and Mr. USA leads the team onto the stage with his arms full of FREE Mr. USA merchandise, masks, t-shirts, mouse pad, etc. Harvey Steel walks out behind him and at a distance as a teen would with the parents out of sheer embarrassment at their behavior. Mr. USA begins handing out the free stuff as he walks to the rings, taking selfies and high fiving the fans as Harvey ignores them and marches right to the ring and waits as his partner finishes handing out the Mr. USA gear and joins him. They huddle up briefly before climbing into the ring and wait for the bell.
Jessica: Currently in the ring are the team of Mr. USA and Harvey Steele!! USA-Steele!!!
Kickstart my heart” plays as the crowd pops huge when Korey comes walking out followed by his brother James. Korey bobs his head to the beat of the song as James tosses up some 'rock on' hand gestures as the pyros go off in the back ground. Korey sprints towards the ring as he slides in with a cocky smile as he then gets up and rests in the corner as James climbs into the ring and goes to all four corners to salute the crowd with a rock on gesture.
Jessica: And their opponents!! The team of Korey and Jesse Gaines!! The Gaines Brothers!!!
Bennett: So original these two tag team names
Carter: At least they will electrify the crowd as these are two fan favorites!!
Bennett: Oh great, well at least we can expect some rule breaking from Harvey!!.
Aiello: At least not when Mr. USA is in the ring!!
DING! DING! DING!
The match starts with Jesse and Harvey Steele, the two circle each other as they lock arms. Harvey locks Jesse in a standing side headlock and wrings his arm tight across the head of Jesse before dropping over his hip and drops him on the canvas where Jesse manages to escape it by putting Harvey in a head scissors takedown that Harvey manages to escape and turns his attention to the referee saying that he got his hair pulled.Bennett: It’s true ref, he did so!!
Carter: No they did not!!
Jessey tags in his brother Korey as the other brother stands face to face with Harvey as Korey points at Mr. USA. Telling him that he want the man, causing Harvey to turn around as his tag team partner already has extended his arm to tag himself in. But Harvey turns back towards Korey as the big man does not pay attention to Harvey and still points at Mr. USA, causing Harvey to immediately strike Korey with a kick to the knee and follows it up with a kick to the back of Korey’s head as the Gaines brother drops to a knee because of the move and covers him.

Korey kicks out at the count of two as Harvey now tags in Mr. USA, that turns his attention towards his partner and asking why he didn’t tagged him in right away. Harvey waves it off as we can hear Mr. USA talk about the spirit of sportsmanship before turning his attention back to Korey, who has gotten back to his feet.
The two men lock arms and Korey manages to get the upper hand as he whips him into his corner and then charges in on him with a shoulder tackle. He tags in his brother as Korey grabs Mr. USA and holds him in a bearhug before James hits Mr. USA with a running kick. Dropping Mr. USA and goes for the cover.

Mr. USA kicks out at two as he extends his arm out to tag in his partner, but is being held back by Jesse who wraps his arm around the chin of Mr. USA. The member of USA-Steele slowly gets to his feet as he elbows his way out of the hold before running to the ropes and gets knocked down by a dropkick by Jesse, who goes for a cover but gets only a count of one as Mr. USA kicks out.
Jesse runs to the ropes and sets himself up for another aerial move, but gets stopped by Harvey who kicks him in the lower back. The referee did not see it as he turns around and sees Jesse turn towards Harvey as Steel jumps off the ring apron and taunts Jesse to come after him. Jesse steps through the ropes as we see that Mr. USA gets to his feet and grabs Jesse by the arm and tells him that he shouldn’t get worked up on the actions from his tag team partner as Jesse turns around and pushes Mr. USA away.
Harvey jumps on the ring apron quickly and grabs the back of Jesse’s head and drops him hard on the top rope with the back of his head as he jumps off the apron again. Mr. USA turns around and sees the staggering Jesse as he executes the Patriot Punch before tagging back in his tag team partner that has gotten back on the ring apron. Harvey gets in the ring and executes a super kick to the wobbling Jesse and covers him for the count

DING! DING! DING!
Jessica: The winners of this match!! USA-Steele!!!Aiello: I don’t think Mr. USA saw what Harvey has done to make their team win this match!!
Bennett: Does it matter?? They won!!!
Carter: Question the tactics from Harvey, but he is once again very instrumental in a victory!!!! Now we are looking forward to the next match!!! However first, lets go backstage as Drew Stevenson is once again near a camera
Standing in the backstage area before his match, we see wrestling veteran, Drew Stevenson already dressed in his ring gear and ready for tonight's match as he brings his right hand up to gently stroke his chin, definitely deep in thought.
Stevenson: This past week, things have been more heated than they normally are. You have heard A LOT of things, much of them nothing more than ignorance on the part of my opponent, Erik Black. You see Erik; in my long and illustrious career, I have heard A LOT of stupid and ridiculous things but you know what? None of them compare to the verbal diarrhea that you spewed this week.
Shaking his head from side to side, there is a blatant look of disappointment on his face, especially since he knows that his opponent Erik has so much potential but is simply pissing it all away.
Stevenson: Since you obviously don't think before you speak, let me ask you something: have you ever heard of the yearly tournament, the King of the Cage? I’m sure you probably have because it's one of the biggest events of the year but do you know what happened at last years King of the Cage? I took third place out of around thirty people. Now to you? That means nothing but let me tell you something man; you don't take that kind of spot if you’re a jobber, you understand? The best of the best gather yearly to participate in that tournament hosted by the EWC so for you to insinuate that a jobber could do that — hell man, that's BLATANT disrespect towards me, this company, and everyone else who busts their ass to give YOU a business to compete in.”
Pointing at the camera, he is making sure that everyone hears him because he wants everyone to understand just how ignorant Black is.
Stevenson: But let me ask you a question, what have YOU done that warrants that massive chip on your shoulder, huh? Last time I checked, you fell short in your last match simply because you couldn't put your ego aside to get the job done. And as far as tonight goes? You’re not getting the job done and that's because you’re too ignorant to understand who you’re facing and you're too lazy to take the time out of your day to research who they are and what they have done.
Rubbing his hands together with a smile expressed, he continues to speak.
Stevenson: But since this entire ordeal has become that of “hurt feelings” as you put it: let me break it down to you like this, tonight in that ring? I’m going to teach you all about respect. I’m going to BEAT it into you and the only person with “hurt wittle” feelings around here will be YOU after I send you to the back licking your wounds, you understand?
Taking in a deep breath, he clasps his hands together again.
Stevenson: You’re on borrowed time Erik and you might not see it now since you’re too blinded by your own arrogance but when we leave this arena? The only person who is going to be “butt hurt” is you because guess what? I’m fresh out of lube.
With a very arrogant smile expressed, he turns away from the camera and walks off.
Aiello: Some big words from the PRIME star Drew Stevenson, who clearly has had enough of the war of words and blatant disrespect
Death Trend Setta began to play on the PA system. Erik walks out to a chorus of boos. He smiles from ear to ear as he makes his way to the ring.
Steve Bennet: Erik Black? What's he doing out here?
Aiello: He and Drew Stevenson have been going back and forth all week .. so my guess is he is here to address Drew and perhaps comment on what he just said backstage?
Erik gets to the ring and grabs a mic.
Erik: Drew Stevenson. I enjoyed your little rant backstage just now .. So much so that I'm out here early to present to you .... a gift. You see. Even though you just claimed otherwise, you ARE a jobber who is obviously in need of his very own safe space.
The crowd begins to boo loudly. Erik smiles
Erik: I know, right? I feel bad for the guy too. It must be hard being a jobber and not even really knowing it. But, as I said, I have a gift for the man. You see..I received my very first EWC paycheck the other day, and like the good person I am, I bought a piece of property not far from here. It isn't much but...Well? Production truck! Roll it!
The feed cuts to a a small shack of a building. It's quite run down. The camera goes inside the small shack. The walls are nearly falling down. There are fast food bags all over the floor. There is a mattress in the floor.
Erik: It's your own safe space, Drew! You now have a place you can go where no one can hurt your feelings! There is even a mirror on the wall. You can use it to tell yourself how much of a talentless jobber you are! You're welcome, Drew! Or should I say.. Jobberman USA? Oh! And its ready for use right now if you want to go try it out! I suggest you do so before our match later tonight. If you don’t? Well..If you don’t then you might never be able to see it. You see...I plan on ending you tonight. I plan on show you..and the entire world just how much of a jobber you truly are. I'm going to jobberkill you later, Drew. Get ready. Go see your safe space. Prepare yourself for this mercy killing..and then meet me back here in this ring for said mercy killing. See you then, sugar
Death Trend Setta begins to play once more. Erik exits via the ramp
REBEL RHODES
VS EMMA LOUISE
VS EMMA LOUISE
Aiello: Well .. this war of words is getting pretty goofy if you ask me, but whatever entertains the people of California I suppose. I'm more of a .. let the fists do the talking kind of guy .. Anyways ... onto our fourth match tonight. Emma Louise who successfully defeated Peter Dragon last week will be facing the newcomer Melinda – Rebel – Rhodes.
Carter: Melinda isn´t a total newcomer thought. More like a veteran who took a break and now comes back. Emma Louise will likely have her hands full with the Ink Panther.
Bennett: Ink Panther, huh? Did you came up with that all by yourself or did you have a ghostwriter?
Carter: Believe it or not it was all my idea after watching her dark match.
Bennett: It takes more than a dark match to be on Emma´s level.
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen. The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring first, from Cortez, Colorado, weighting in at 152 pounds …. The Rebel and no friend of John Blade …. MELINDAAAAAA RHODESSSSSSSSSSSS
The beautiful acoustic guitar plucked riffs of Jon Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" sound over the P/A system. Through the curtains steps a fit, pale skinned, raven haired and heavily tattooed woman. Her dark brown eyes wander over the crowd as she stands upon the stage, taking it all in for a moment. On her face we find dark crimson painted on her full lips and red highlighted black eye shadow over her eyes. Her modest chest is contained by a fringed red and blue leather vest, her ass covered by black and silver tights. She sports standard black pads on her elbows and knees, with knee high laced wrestling boots to match. On her wrists are red, white, and blue bands. Upon her hips rests a thick black leather belt with a large and square silver buckle that reads in an ornate font, "Rebel."
She makes her way to the ring with a confident stride, slapping fives with a few outstretched hands as she does so. It doesn't take her long to reach ringside. She climbs the steps, wipes her feet on the apron, and slips through the ropes. Giving the crowd a three finger salute, Rebel Rhodes backs into a corner of her choosing and waits...
Aiello: Miss Rhodes does have a presence I have to admit.
Bennett: That alone is not going to cut it. She talked tough now she has to put her money where her mouth is.
Carter: I have a feeling she will. But you are right. She has to do that against Emma.
Jessica Stroup: And her opponent… coming to the ring next from the Vinewood Hills of Los Santos …. EMMAAAAAAAA LOUISEEEEEEEEE!!!
Neo Geo plays and Emma dances through the curtain. She waves to the crowd and then walks, half dancing to the ring, waving to the crowd as she goes before slipping feet first through the ropes like an envelope before laying suggestively over the top
Aiello: The win of Dragon should have built up her confidence as much as the previous matches built up her pain tolerance.
Bennett: I´m sure Emma liked the taste of victory well enough to go all out again for another win.
DING! DING! DING!
The sound of the bell is still in the air when Emma comes forward with a quick Reverse Roundhouse Kick and she is equally quick to spin out of the Rebel´s reach when Rhodes weaves aside and tries to catch the foot that just missed her jaw.
Mel Rhodes moves in and catches Emma in a tight side headlock as the Ever Beautiful And Always Dangerous finishes her cartwheel-like kicking and evasion move. Emma however, uproots Rhodes from the ground into an improvised Pendulum Backbreaker that serves to break the hold around Emma´s head as well.
Finished with testing the rebel´s reflexes Emma shifts her game into a higher gear now, first with an Elbow Drop that Rhodes manages to half-block with her shoulder and then with a …
SLAP!!!
The loud slash of a karate chop hitting Rhodes across the throat reverberates through the arena. Emma is already on her feet again, peeling her opponent off of the mat to lock in the HLA.
But Rebel Rhodes isn´t half as dizzy as she appeared to be and as soon as Emma helped her back into the vertical Emma Louise gets hit by an impromptu suplex that drives her back first into the mat real hard.
Aiello: Both ladies show great skill in countering and improvising moves as they go.
Bennett: Nice show. That rebel got me interested now.
Carter: Looks like the rust is off.
Rhodes makes good use of Emma´s hard landing by hitting her with a schoolboy rollup pin.
ONE …!!!
TWO …!!!
Emma shrugs off the hold with authority, knocking Rhodes several feet away as she gets her shoulder up.
Both wrestlers slowly rise to their feet again, staring each other down. Emma wags her finger and shakes her head for a non-verbal: No-no-no. This ain´t over.
Rhodes shoots forward to deliver her Rhodes Kill monster spear from hell when Emma jumps into the air to avoid the attack and comes down with a stomp kick in Rhodes´ neck, driving her face deep down into the mat while she is still at full speed, the additional momentum making the impact that much more worse.
Aiello: OUCH!
Emma lands with both knees squarely in Mel´s back and flips her around to hook the leg.
ONE…!!!
TWO…!!!
THR….!!!
NO!!!!
The Rebel´s shoulder goes up literally in the last half second before Rhodes turns the show of defiance into a legit counter attack with an elbow into Emma´s temple.
Aiello: The Rebel showing resilience of a wrestler easily twice her size.
Bennett: Beginning to like that girl. Might get a tattoo….
Carter: Like For Mommy?
Bennett: Watch it boy or I make your daddy cry.
A slightly stunned Emma Louise has to eat a Judo Hiptoss but rolls away and comes out of it with an explosive spear of her own. She hits but only to see Rhodes roll with the impact. The Rebel is back steady on her feet before Emma is.
A bone-dry boxing punch connects with Emma´s jaw with a loud smack followed immediately by a devastating Reverse DDT.
Rhodes hooks the leg.
ONE…!!!
TWO…!!!
THR…!!!
Shoulder Up!
Aiello: This incredible tolerance for pain is another thing these two have in common. A right cross and a DDT would take out most wrestlers or at least stun them for the pin.
Bennett: Remember I used to call her Emma Van Damme?
Carter: And by now I agree with that.
Bennett: Of course you do.
Rebel Rhodes gets Emma into another headlock and throws her into the ropes. Emma ducks a clothesline when she rebound and holds on to the ropes when she hits them again on the other side of the ring so Melinda´s back kick only connects with thin air.
Only now Emma springs off the middle rope and bends forward for a heel kick which only gets her dragon whipped off her feet. Emma jerks her legs way to avoid an ankle lock and rolls into a kneeling barely blocking a toe kick for her face.
Now Rebel hits the ropes and comes back for a Springboard Neckbreaker.
A sick crack can be heard as the move connects and Emma curls up on the mat. Rhodes grabs her by the damaged neck, hauls her upstairs and drives home the Sheer Heart Attack.
Then she goes for the cover on the now limp Emma Louise.
ONE…!!!
TWO…!!!
THREE…!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Jessica Stroup: And the winner of this contest by pinfall is …. The Rebel!!! … … MELINDAAAAAA RHODESSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!
Aiello: That was for sure a bone-crushing debut. Neck bone crushing for that matter.
Bennett: That won´t keep Emma grounded for long.
Carter: Now I´m beginning to understand why John Blade won´t buy into a match with his designated assistant.
Aiello: The Rebel is going to make an impact here in Brawl for sure. Now one to the next match after this message…
CRAZY J
VS SIDNEY BLADE
VS SIDNEY BLADE
Carter: Welcome back to Monday Night Brawl! What a war we just witnessed between Rebel Rhodes and Emma Louise.
Aiello: Those to women tore each other apart, much like I expect our next two competitors will do Max.
Jessica Stroup: This next contest is one fall to a finish! Introducing first weighing in at 325lbs, and hailing from Detroit Michigan, Crrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyy Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!
BENNETT: This big son o’ bitch right here lost a hard fought no disqualification match against Eddie Crank last week and is looking make up for that tonight against his opponent.
Carter: This is Sidney Blades debuting match, going be one heck of a debut if he can put away the painted mad man.
Aiello: Not only that But Sidney is looking to bring honor back to the Blade namesake.
The arena's lights fall to the lively pulse of 'Chasing After' by Tantric; taking center stage in a coal black wife beater, smokey denim pants, and heavy boots is Sidney Blade, from which he pauses casually popping his taped fingers.
Jessica Stroup: Making his way to the ring from Worcester, Massachusetts .. weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds .. Sidney Blade!
His hands drop to his sides as he turns his neck to either side of the arena, examining all parts of the crowd. Shortly after, he commences bouncing on the ball of his toes to exhibit his footwork prior to storming down the ramp; shadow boxing and flexing his chest muscles while making his way to the ring. The crowd responding to his aggressive actions with jeers. At ringside, Sidney props himself onto the apron with a single knee, using the ropes for leverage to enter the ring. Stepping through the middle rope and coming to a slow stop in the ring's center, loosening his neck with slight yet swift movements.
DING DING DING!
Aiello: And it’s on lets see who gets the upper hand early on.
J and Blade tie up in a standard collar and elbow tie up testing each other’s strength. Blade gets the upper hand and whips J into the ropes. J comes barreling back though and hits a hard shoulder block knocking Blade backwards and off his feet.
Bennett: Whoa ho ho you she the power by that big ole boy. Blades up and pissed. The two sum bitches exchanging blows dead center in the ring. Good ole straight up brawl!
Aiello: Sidney Blade with a chest slap, followed by an European uppercut. Blade is lighting up Crazy J, oh! But J has his massive hand around Blades throat, Chokeslam!
Carter: And J with the pin! Oh! Blade is out at 1 and a half! J looking to pick Blade up but no! Blade with a low blow and J is down.
J starts to rise and Blade runs at him full speed. Blade ducks a forearm shot and runs up the turnbuckle. J turns around and is hit with the Running Corner Sommersault Plancha.
Aiello: Blade Runner! Blade Runner! It could be all over for Crazy J folks!
Carter: Sidney Blade has J up and seems to be looking for that rolling cutter he calls Blade Runner, But no! J reverses it! Piledriver! What a reversal!
Bennett: Both men are down now. Ref is at 5 and looks like both are stirring. Blade looks furious as he rushes J.
Blade nails the Cervicalgia on J and goes for the immediate pin but gets only a 2 count. Frustration is setting in and Blade goes for another pin but this time only a one count. Blade mounts J and begins pounding the man right between the eyes.
Bennett: Oh hell yeah! Blood in the water guys, J is busted wide open!
J shoves Blade off him creating the separation he needed to get up. J charges Blade looking for a closeline but Blade ducks under grabs J’s arm and twist it around nailing a rolling cutter on the painted faced man.
Aiello: Blade Runner!! He got it this time it could be all over for Crazy J!
DING DING DING!
Bennett: Ref hits three and that son bitch takes himself a victory!
Jessica Stroup: Your winner by pinfall, Sidney Bllllllllllllllllllllllade!
Aiello: I would say the next match is going have trouble following that finish.
Carter: Well the next match is a special treat for fans. Straight from Prime we have Drew Stevenson taking on our own Eric Black. Can Black make a comeback from the beating he received last week from the giant Bates? Tune in after these messages to find out.
The scene opens backstage where John Blade is spotted approaching Brawl GM Victor Price
Blade: Mr Price, I wasn't booked at Scars & Stripes because I was dealing with some family business, but I heard that announcement you made, and I want to be the first person to throw a hat in the ring. You want a man who can win, who can beat Drake, who can win the EWC Championship .. I am that man .. please Mr Price .. add my name on the tournament list
Price looks John Blade up and down .. pauses
Victor: Tell you what .. if you win your match tonight .. sure .. I'll put you on the top of that list
John smiles and gets excited .. but then realizes something
Blade: Wait .. Mr Price .. I don't have a match tonight?
Victor: Then I guess your shit out of luck ..
Victor bumps John as he walks past him with John Blade clearly upset
DREW STEVENSON
VS ERIK BLACK
Aiello: Well that was certainly something. The next match on the card puts two MMA-styled fighters in the squared circle. Drew Stevenson; An EWC Prime prospect with a long and storied history in professional wrestling. He's known for his passion as well as his precision and versatility in the ring. The Emerald will be a tough obstacle for Erik Black to overcome!
Carter: Erik Black is a well versed and highly trained MMA fighter who managed to push the giant, Thomas Bates last Monday, but fell just a little short. Perhaps tonight is the night he shows us that he's more than just a mouth with fast fists.
Bennett: After a loss like that? You better believe the kid will be hungry to overcome that. Stevens may be a ten stripe wrestling and MMA vet, but he's got the downsides that come with it in the form of nagging injuries. I hear his knee is practically balsa wood and his neck has more cracks than a house full of squatting plumbers.
Carter: We have heard from both of them all week and even again tonight .. now it's time to shut up and fight
Aiello: Be that as it may, I favor The Warforged Warrior in this match up.
Carter: And here he comes now!
"The Man" by Aloe Blacc hit's the P/A and out through the curtains steps Drew Stevenson in full ring gear and his green ring robe with the word "THE EMERALD" emblazoned across the back. He sports a grim and determined look on his face as he marches to the ring with modest fan fare. A hand slap here, a quick nod to a fan there, but otherwise, his expression was as if carved from stone.
Jessica Stroup: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!! INTRODUCING FIRST FROM KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI...
Drew makes his way up the ring steps and steps out onto the apron. Turning his back to the lovely Stroup, he throws his arms out at his sides and roars to the fans.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX FEET AND TWO INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS....
The Warforged Warrior turns and slips through the ropes into the ring, removing his emerald robe and tossing it to the ring ropes, revealing more of his impressive physique. He backs into a corner, boxing with the air as Jessica finishes his introduction.
Jessica Stroup: DREW SSSSSTTTTTEEEEEEVVVVVEEEEENNNNNNSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN!!!!
He throws a fist into the air as the fans give him a modest pop.
Aiello: The fans showing a little appreciation for the decorated wrestling vet.
Bennett: What a bunch of chucklheaded sheep, I swear.
Jessica Stroup: AND HIS OPPONENT, HAILING FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!!!
"Death Trend Setta" by Cross fade hits on the PA system as the lights go dark. A spotlight shines on the entrance stage as Erik walks out. He has a black towel over his face. He stops at the ramp and looks around before darting to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and runs to the furthest turnbuckle.
Jessica Stroup: HE STANDS AT SIX FEET AND ONE INCH TALL, WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS...
Erik climbs it. He does a black flip off of it while throwing the black towel into the crowd.
Jessica Stroup: EEEERRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIK BBBBBBLLLLLLAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCK!!!!
Drew and Erik immediately get into each other's faces, the two sharing hard words for one another as Stroup exits the ring.
Carter: There is no love between these two competitors as the words Erik Black had to share about Drew Stevenson in his recent promo were as harsh as they come.
Bennett: Oh boo hoo... Erik buried him with a verbal shovel! What's it like to be so weak that mere words hurt ya'?
Aiello: It's mostly rumor and speculation, but some have said that Drew became rather difficult to deal with when the cameras weren't rolling.
The Referee moves in, forcing the two to back up. "I'm in your head, Emerald!" Erik shouts at his opponent. Drew merely cracks his knuckles and waits for the bell to ring.
DING DING DING
Drew and Erik immediately square off, hands up and ready to grapple. Just as the two close in and the two were about to lock up, suddenly Erik gets in two rapid fire slaps to either side of Drew's face and backs off quickly.
Aiello: And right off the bat, blatant disrespect for Drew Stevenson!
Bennett: Slap him again, heh!
Carter: Drew Stevenson showing some restraint by not taking the obvious bait and he's putting those dukes right back up.
Erik has a little bounce in his step, mouthing off at Drew. The veteran fighter remains silent as he inches in towards his opponent. Drew fakes a forearm strike and turns right into a fast roundhouse kick, only to find his kick being answered by one from Erik. Kickpads connect with a loud, nearly thunderous smack that manages an echo despite the crowd's noise.
"THAT ALL YOU GOT, HAS BEEN?!" shouts Erik just loud enough to be heard. Drew's stance stiffens a bit and he tightens his fists.
The two move in towards each other and proceed to trade blows back and forth, a variety of fast and furious kicks, punches, elbows, knees, and other strikes. One answering the other with a block or a duck and counter. Training making up for inexperience and vice versa. A sudden thrusting side kick catches Drew's bad knee, immediately making him buckle and drop to a kneel as a result. Yet it was almost as if he expected this, a surprise uppercut connecting with Erik's jaw at exactly the same time. The younger man staggers back, seeing stars as Drew struggles to get to his feet, wincing a bit.
Aiello: What an exciting exchange of martial arts strikes!
Carter: That wounded knee kick caught Drew right on his bad knee, which is never a good thing when against a competitor like Erik Black.
Bennett: Just means the shark's got his first taste of blood in the water!
Erik recovers and throws more trash talk at Drew as the referee moves in to check on him. A shove back is all the ref gets as Drew moves in towards Erik. This prompts the ref to immediately get in his face. With a wicked smirk, Erik hops forward, using the distraction to his fullest advantage, cracking Drew with a violent roundhouse kick that sends him staggering into the ropes!
Aiello: The Referee was reading Stevenson the riot act and opened him up for a VICIOUS kick right to the temple!
Bennett: That means Black's smart and Drew's a dumb son of a bitch. Don't touch the ref unless it's to throw the bastard into oncoming traffic!
Carter: And now the Referee is right in Erik's face!
At that moment, Erik Black was getting an ear full from EWC's referee. The brash fighter just waves him off and yawns a bit. Drew pushes off the ropes and after shaking his head a bit, he glares right at Black with a stonefaced scowl. Drew doesn't bring his hands up and instead, walks straight for Erik.
Aiello: I think the boiling point has been reached right here!
Erik promptly goes for a quick jab, which Drew effortlessly dodges. This is followed by a combination body shot and mid round house. Both effortless dodged and sidestepped by the veteran. Drew fakes with a low kick, only to piston his leg straight ahead with a devastating gastrizein-style kick that explodes into Erik's abdomen with roughly two thousand pounds per square inch of force. Erik doubles over with a croak and stumbles back with the wind knocked out of him.
Carter: BRUTAL front kick just caught Erik off guard right there.
He doesn't even give Erik a chance to recover, rushing in with brutal and vicious forearm and elbow shots to the head, followed by an uppercut to the jaw that sends Erik staggering back and stumbling through the ropes!
Aiello: Drew Stevenson showing everyone why you don't toy with a veteran in this sport.
Bennett: Oh get up kid! You wanna' look like a dumbass two times in a row?!
Carter: Drew now on the the floor and looking to do more damage and Erik Black is putting distance between the two of them now... Oh my look at his face!
As Erik passes a camera, it's instantly apparent that his nose is busted open and bleeding freely. Drew in hot pursuit with a fast step in his walk, barely even a hint of a limp despite the pain in his knee.
Aiello: That's a possible broken nose from that onslaught from Drew Stevenson and it doesn't look like it's about to stop anytime soon!
Drew, clearly still angery and ready to deliver more punishment, catches Erik by the hair and spins him around. In an instant, he immediately pays for the ill planned action as Erik fires off rapid fire kicks to the side of that bad knee. Drew's leg buckles but he doesn't even get a chance to fall as Erik then turns and whips him right into the ring steps, Drew's bad knee impacting with the steel as he careens over the top and falls to the floor in a heap on the otherside.
Bennett: YEAH! Send that horse to the glue factory, Drew Stevenson is done, son!
Erik rolls into the ring and back out to reset the ref's ten count, then rushes in at Drew as he's trying to rise. Immediately he proceeds to pepper Drew's injured knee with kick after kick, driving the veteran fighter back into the ring barricade. Fans tap Drew's shoulders in an effort to drive him forward. He's barely able to bring up his arms in time to block a kick that has enough force to rock both him and the barricade back into the shins of the fans. He's forced to turtle up as kick after kick is sent into him from Erik Black.
Aiello: Erik Black is just dominating outside of the ring!
Bennett: Well when you bleed the shark, you pay for it.
Carter: And the Ref is demanding the two of them get back into the ring, but Erik is just having none of it!
Leaning over the ropes, The old Ref shouts at Erik, "GET BACK IN THE RING! I'M NOT WARNING YOU AGAIN!!!!" Erik waves him off and goes for a stomp on the downed, Drew, only to have his foot caught and be shoved back by it. Drew then launches himself forward at Erik, driving him into the ring Apron where he proceeds to batter his abs and ribs with vicious body hook punches and knee strikes.
Aiello: And just like that! Drew Stevenson is back in this fight and using that pain and anger to drive him forward!
Bennett: He's just too stupid to know he's beaten!
Carter: You can't deny the toughness and determination of Drew Stevenson.
He then slings Erik over the apron and back into the ring. Drew slides in right after and immediately rolls Erik into a side arm triangle choke just out of reach of the ropes!
Carter: And there's Drew going to the ground game. He knows he's hurt and he needs to put Erik Black away ASAMFP!
Bennett: It never ceases to amaze me how many shades of purple the human head can get in a choke hold.
Aiello: Black is fighting the hold and fading slowly but surely.
After a moment of intense struggle, Erik manages to force Drew into a bit of a roll and hooks a foot into the ropes. The Ref has to force the hold apart immediately. Drew holds it for three seconds passed the initial call and rolls away from Erik, his teeth grit as he paces back and forth with a bit of a limp.
Carter: The ref's checking on Erik Black now and it seems like he's able to continue.
Erik gets to his feet and gone is the cocky smirk on his face. He sports a focused look now, clearly angered by how had nearly been taken out by such a common MMA hold....
Aiello: I think this match just took a turn for the serious...
"Come at me kid," Drew shouts while motioning Erik to come straight for him and Erik does just that! Erik immediately fires off a front kick and Drew ducks down, hooks the swinging leg and spins around, lifting Erik into an exploder suplex followed by a pin!
Bennett: WOAH!!!!
Carter: T-Bone Exploder outta' nowhere!!!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
THR-KICKOUT!!!
Erik thrashes out of the pinfall and both men roll apart, Drew back on his feet first with a smirk.
Aiello: Drew almost had him right there!
This time both men rush in and lock up, with Drew looking another suplex. Knee shots by Erik halt his progress and he's promptly pulled into a front face lock. Erik goes for the lift, only for Drew to stop him and hook his arm around Erik's head. He then hits a snap suplex and slams Erik brutally to the canvas! Keeping the hold, Drew rolls himself and Erik back to a stand, looking to hit a second, but Erik manages to counter despite his disorientation and snaps Drew to the canvas with a suplex of his own! Again, neither man let's go as they roll to a stand. Erik tries to go for another suplex and Drew hooks his leg. He whips Erik up into the air, the two dangerously close to the ropes...
Bennett: Where's he gonna' go with this?!
Carter: Drew aiming for the corner....
And Drew falls back towards the corner, Drew turning the suplex into a modified throw towards the turnbuckles, but Erik manages to bend his legs, hooking them into the top rope and effectively hanging himself upside down in a tree of woe! Erik sits up and pushes himself onto the top rope as Drew gets to his feet!
Bennett: Well that's a different way to skin the cat!
Aiello: LOOK OUT DREW!!!
Drew rolls to his feet, expecting to see his opponent crumpled in a heap in the corner, but finds himself surprised to see Erik Black in mid flight. He drives a hard fist right into Drew's face, rocking him off his feet and to the canvas!
Carter: BABAYAGA!!!!
Aiello: That Superman punch off the top just rocked Drew's world and now Erik is vaulting to the top rope and signaling for "The Unbelievable Experience!"
Erik front flips off the top rope with a shooting star press, throwing his leg out in mid flight, only for Drew Stevenson to roll out of the way, forcing Erik to land on nothing but the unforgiving canvas!
Aiello: CRASH AND BUUUURRRRNNN!!!
Carter: Damn, not good for Erik one bit here! Drew is back on his feet and Erik is struggling after nearly splitting his tail bone on that landing!
Bennett: GET HIM ERIK!!!
That's exactly what Erik tries to do, part limping as he rushed in towards Drew without much thought. Drew ducks forward and wraps his arms around his opponent, whipping around and VIOLENTLY slamming him to the canvas with...
Aiello: DREW HITS THE HT3! IT'S OVER!!!!
Drew hops up from the impact and flexes his arm muscles as he roars to the crowd.
Carter: He nearly split his spine in half with that buster!!!
Bennett: BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
He then turns and falls across his prone opponent, hooking the leg.
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!
Drew rises off of Erik Black with the help of the referee and has his hand hoisted up into the air! Immediately his theme hit's the P/A system to a loud applause.
DING DING DING
Jessica Stroup: HERE IS THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH, DREW SSSSSTTTTTTEEEEEEVVVVVEEEEENNNNNSSSSSOOOOONNNNN!!!
Aiello: Drew Stevenson pulls the win out on his rookie opponent here tonight, showing us why this crafty veteran shouldn't be taken lightly in the ring.
Carter: It was certainly a battle between these men and I hope Erik Black learned a valuable lesson here tonight.
Drew then turns and shouts down at Erik, "HOW'S THAT FOR A BURIAL, KID?!" Then turns and rolls out of the ring. As Drew heads up the ramp he stops and looks back, seeing the face of Erik Black glaring back at him. Dried blood still cakes his mouth along with spatters on his chest from the potential break of his nose earlier. The look on Erik's face promised nothing but violent retribution. Drew smirks and continues his march to the back...
Carter: Hell of a match between these two competitors. We'll have more coming up next after a word from our sponsors.
NON TITLE MATCH
VINNIE
VS ANDREW JACKSON
Aiello: Next we are going to see a much talked-about pairing of a newcomer versus a newly-minted champion – Vinnie, the Man Of The People versus International Champion Andrew Jackson.
Carter: I guess we are going to see tonight what Zero Tolerance is all about.
Bennett: You´re sure this Vinnie is only one guy?
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen. The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring first, from Ashbury Park, New Jersey… weighting in at 280 pounds …. The Man Of The People …. VINNIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
The arena goes black except for a spotlight that shines on the entrance way. We see a Mexican man walk out to the ring wearing a tuxedo. He looks around the crowd and grins before doing his entrance speech.
Ricardo: Damas y caballeros, niños de todas las edades !! Estamos reunidos aquí hoy para dar la bienvenida al hombre de la GENTE !!! Tu heroe!! El portador del cactus de la gente !!! Señor Vinnie !!!!
(translation Ricardo: Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages!! We are gathered here today to welcome the man of the PEOPLE!!! Your Hero!! The Bearer of the cactus of the people!!! Mister Vinnie!!!!)
Ich Will hits the sound system as Vinnie walks out to the ring, wearing black hoodie, his fists taped up as he is walking to the ring carrying a cactus in both hands. The fans cheer and boo the man as he places the cactus in his corner before sliding in the ring. There he awaits the arrival of his opponent.
Aiello: His name´s Ricardo if I´m not mistaken. Perhaps someone forgot to tell him that this is not a Lucha Libre event.
Bennett: Vinnie spooks me. You bump him in the head and out come enough personas for a Royal Rumble while he´s still alone in the ring.
Carter: Now anyone who spooks YOU is worth watching.
Bennett: I´m not the only monster kid. Jus the best one.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent… the EWC International Champion and resident patriot… from North Carolina … weighting in at 180 pounds …. ANDREWWWWW JACKSONNNNNNNN!!!!
Take No Prisoners by Megadeth blasts through the PA system and it is soon followed by a series of fireworks blasting across the stage from left to right and back to the start point like a rogue Draco.
Once the fireworks seize Andrew Jackson arrives from behind the curtains looking expansively into the thousands in the audience. The cheers flood the stage as he gets himself settled at the center of it. The belt of the International Champion rests comfortably on his left shoulder.
Jackson throws salutes to his audience and begins to make his way down the ramp. He doesn’t flash a single smile but even with his strict demeanor he dishes out high-fives and handshakes whilst he makes his way down.
Once he gets to the ring area he uses the steps to get into the ring but before going through the ropes he points to the cheap seats above and throws a salute their way. Once in the ring he hands his belt to the ref, finds his corner and throws a few warm up punches to get into the swing of things as he waits for the match to begin.
Aiello: Seems the win over Abraham Frost last week put some additional confidence in his step.
Bennett: Let´s see if that is enough to fight a guy who´s two guys. Or more guys perhaps.
DING! DING! DING!
Newcomer Vinnie starts the dance with a thundering clothesline that knocks the International Champion off his feet after the first three seconds of the match. Jackson takes a heavy Fistdrop to the face followed by a Legdrop. Only when Vinnie attempts a Soccer kick to the temple Jackson and catch his foot and sends Vinnie face first into the canvas with a Dragon Whip that nearly tears the leg out of the hip socket.
Aiello: Jackson is everything but not groggy.
Bennett: Still that punishment might come back to haunt him.
Carter: Haunts and spooks. I haven´t seen the Predator so impressed for a while.
In the ring Jackson is on the roll now. Having pulled Vinnie back up with a nasty arm wringer the reigning champ now fires knees into Vinnie´s gut and toe kicks into his shins. Vinnie drops to his knees from the vicious low kicks but not without clutching Jackson´s kicking leg to his chest with his free arm now. Vinnie throws Jackson off balance knocking the former seal on his ass before twisting Jackson´s ankle with both hands now that the arm wringer is off again.
Jackson screams as the ankle lock hits him. Too far away from the ropes he twists and contorts, trying to ease the pain in his ankle until he finally manages to land a kick smack in Vinnie´s face with his other leg. The Man Of The People is distracted long enough for Jackson to pull free.
Andrew still nurses his leg when Vinnie goes for the damaged limb again, this time with a Single Leg Boston Crab. He bends backwards with the leg in turn. almost bending Jackson in half as Vinnie pulls and jerks and pulls and jerks …
Unable to wiggle out of this Jackson´s face is a grimace of pain. Slowly, very slowly he starts to crawl for the nearest rope one inch at a time with the massive weight of Vinnie pressing down on him like a turned-over truck.
Suddenly Vinnie releases his opponent.
Now he just stands there, head tilted to the side, motionless except for his jaw as he seems to talk to himself.
Aiello: Vinnie has Vinnie on the phone…
Bennett: This ol son o´bitch got brains like a Swiss clockwork. They go cuckoo every fifteen minutes.
Carter: What did you think? I mean he has a cactus for a partner.
Andrew Jackson doesn´t care about the cactus or the state of Vinnie´s mind.
Still favoring the damaged leg he hammers a right cross into Vinnie´s jaw while it´s still moving and then more crosses left and right into his ribs and groin before taking the man down with a DDT and starting the whole sequence again.
Vinnie comes back from the second DDT however, lifting Jackson up into a Bearhug and clamping down on his ribcage with nothing but pure hatred in his eyes.
Unable to break the vice hold Jackson clubs Vinnie´s face with elbows and forearms before Vinnie throws him across the ring with a killer German Suplex very nearly causing Jackson head to collide with a ringpost.
Vinnie comes after his prey. He´s still the one with the better footwork and manages to catch Jackson in another Bearhug immediately transitioned into a Spinebuster before the champ can regroup. Jackson manages to roll away and avoid a vicious stomp at his head but has to eat the following Fist Drop.
The International Champion has just enough speed and agility left to slip out of a Kimura Lock that could have ended the match. But Vinnie is relentless. He drags Jackson up for another slam.
NO!
Jackson explodes back into action with a Hip Toss out of nowhere before dropping his knee into Vinnie´s jaw and then hammering down on him with more forearms and elbows.
Aiello: Like a true champion Jackson is not staying down.
Bennett: If he did the Vinnie´s would hand him his ass.
Carter: No matter which Vinnie you talk to, they both know their way around a ring.
Vinnie ends the assault on his head with a wild swing that does not damage Jackson much but throws him aside.
They both get up and Vinnie goes for a collar-and-elbow lock but Jackson slips it and heaves the bigger man intot he air holding him straight up as he throws his salute to the crowd.
Aiello: Setup for The Patriot
Vinnie goes down with a loud WHAM! and Jackson covers him.
ONE…!!!
TWO…!!!
THREE…!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Jessica Stroup: And the winner of this contest by pinfall is …. The International Champion!!! … … ANDREWWWWW JACKSONNNNNNNN!!!!
Aiello: And here is Andrew Jackson showing his own Zero Tolerance for Vinnie.
Bennett: But that was a close one. That cactus dude is going to make a name for himself here.
Carter: For sure. Just not tonight.
Aiello: With Andrew Jackson celebrating and Vinnie arguing with himself we are ready for the final match before the main event after this message....
NON TITLE | ANYTHING GOES MATCH
TY RANT
VS EDDIE CRANK
Aiello: We have seen some wars tonight but this next match may just surpass them all.
Carter: Exactly Joe. Up next we have Ty Rant taking on Eddie Crank in an Anything Goes Match.
Bennett: Do we have the army on stand by? I just need to know I'm safe. You know .. from the War
Aiello: Both men got big wins last week but you have to believe that each man comes into tonight with one eye looking for a possible EWC World Title shot.
Jessica Stroup: The following contest is set for one fall.
Crowd: One fall!!
Jessica Stroup: And it is an Anything Goes Match.
The lights dim, the speakers go silent, and for a moment the quiet is positively pregnant with anticipation before it’s broken by the faint, rhythmic beat of drums that become more and more intense with each passing second. Louder, and louder, until finally pyrotechnics erupt from the front of the stage as if cannons are signalling the coming assault. Ty Rant starts his slow descent down the stage from the ramp as Countings Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums by A Perfect Circle starts to filter out from the P.A. system, playing in tandem with the drum beat that he’s walking out to.
Quiet, imposing, wearing a boot length, hooded coat that flows behind him like a king’s mantle, with a pair of pauldrons on either shoulder that were fashioned from the skulls of wolves, those elongated incizors plated in silver catching the light as he walked. He doesn’t bother with the stairs, a look of determined focus aimed at whoever his next victim is. Fierce, near animalistic, he makes that straight line as he leaps onto the ring’s edge in a vertical jump, catchin’ onto the top rope with his hands, clutching them and then stepping over them without so much as a word leaving his lips as the music dies down. His hooded coat removed, he tosses it over the ropes, left in nothing but his biker styled wrestling boots, those black tights, and the thick, zipped up, motorcycle vest with various patches stitched into it.
Jessica Stroup: Making his way to the ring from Brooklyn New York and weighing in at 298 pounds: TY RANT!!!!!!
The EWC cameras take us backstage where Eddie Crank, followed by his coach and the rest of his team, is marching towards the entrance as ‘Foggy Dew’ echoes in the arena.
Eddie is prancing around, practicing his footwork as he goes, throwing air punches and having a good time. The Irish in the audience are having an even bigger blast than Eddie is, donning Irish colors and painting the entire arena green, orange and white.
Eddie’s theme switches from ‘Foggy Dew’ to ‘Unchained’ and the crowd goes wilder and wilder by the second while Eddie makes his way to the ring, barely having any space around him thanks to his crew and the Irish fans trying to touch and high five him.
Crank starts circling the ring and talking trash, warming up for the fight with a smile on his face.
Eddie starts shadow boxing and kicking, practicing over his movements and getting nice and limber for the fight.
Jessica Stroup: His opponent, from Dublin, Ireland weighing 165 pounds of glory: EDDIE CRANK!!!!!!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Both men circle each other and move to lock up but Crank catches Ty with a straight Right Hand to the jaw knocking him off balance and through the ropes to the outside. Out of the ring, Ty runs his hand over his jaw making sure it is still in one piece before grabbing something from a fan in the crowd. Crank reaches through the ropes to grab Ty but Ty smacks Crank across the skull with the object he stole. A metal crutch. Crank staggers in the ring clutching his skull as Ty slides back into the ring and hits Crank from behind knocking him down. Ty then unloads on Crank with a series of stomps. Ty then grabs the crutch and smashes it down across Crank's back three or four times. He tosses the crutch away as Crank tries to drag himself to his feet. Ty grabs Crank from behind and hits him with a Side Suplex before going for the cover.

Aiello: Ty Rant is taking the fight to Crank.
Bennett: Only because Eddie Crank jumped him before the bell.
Carter: Jumped? I... I'm just not going there this time.
Crank uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Ty has rolled out of the ring and is pulling a steel chair from under it. He slides into the ring and swings the chair at Crank's spine. Crank sees it coming and ducks it before booting the chair into Ty's face. Ty is down but hequickl rolls to his feet where he is met with a series of Right Hands sendng him back into the corner. Crank charges Ty in the corner but Ty is able to get foot up and boots Crank in the face. Ty bounces off the ropes and runs at Crank with a Clothesline. Crank ducks it and hits the rebounding Ty with a Clothesline of his own. Back to their feet, Crank grabs Ty and lifts him up for a suplex dropping hi spine first on the steel chair before going for the cover.

Crank grabs Ty in a Front Facelock whick keeps Ty grounded before strinking with knees to the skull. Crank stands up and motions to the crowd who cheer him. Ty uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet as blood trickles down his face.
Bennett: Blood! We got blood!
Ty takes advantage of Cranks brief distraction and boots him in the back of the head knocking Crank out of the ring. Ty follows and starts clearing the ringside commentary table.
Bennett: Here let me help you with that. Joe hold this.
Aiello: Will you sit down?
Bennett: I'm just de-cluttering the table.
Ty lifts up Crank onto the table and attempts to Powerbomb him through it but Crank reverses it and Back Drops Ty onto the ringside mats. Crank jumps down from the table and goes to pick Ty up off the ground but Ty hits Crank with three punches to the gut before pushing him into the steps. Ty then walks over to Crank and slams him, face fist, into the steps before picking him up and rolling him into the ring.
Back in the ring and Ty has the crutch again. He swings it at Crank's ribs but Crank counters with a Roundhouse kick to the skull and Ty crumples to the canvas. He makes the cover.

With blood coming from his head, Crank punches the canvas in frustration before getting to his feet. His attention away from Ty he doesn't see the Low Blow. Crank doubles over as Ty runs at him taking him for a Tyrant's Kiss but Crank spins around catching Ty in the face with the Dethroning. Ty lands on the canvas flat on his back. Crank pretty much drops onto Ty. The referee counts.

Bennett: Aw shut up you son o bitch!
Aiello: In ninety nine percent of matches that running Tyrant's Kiss would have sealed victory for Ty Rant. Eddie Crank is that other one percent and that Dethroning Elbow of his appears almost out of thin air and is just devastating. Keep with us here on Brawl as up next we have the TV Title on the line for the first time in YEARS on Brawl .. we will be right back folks
TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
SCOTT GRAYSE
VS VALORA THOMAS
VS VALORA THOMAS
Carter: Wow. What an episode of Monday Night Brawl. I don't know how we're ever going to top what we've seen here tonight. That being said though, I simply cannot wait for the main event! You know it's going to be an all-out blockbuster, if tonight has been any indication.
Aiello: Luckily, for you, me, and the fans, we won't have to wait, Max.
Bennett: What about me?
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening! And it is for the Extreme Wrestling Corporation Television Championship!!!
It becomes ominously quiet in the arena and everything goes black. The SkyTron lights up showing blood dripping from a hammer, Scott Grayse's hammer known as Helen. "#BASH" is seen as "Reborn" by Stone Sour blares and the lights come on to see Scott Grayse standing on the ramp glaring into the ring.
Jessica Stroup: Making his way to the ring at this time, standing at six feet six inches tall and weighing in tonight at two-hundred and fifty pounds. From Grand Rapids, Michigan, he is “The Sinister Psychopath” SCOTT GRAYSE!
Carter: A big opportunity awaits Scott Grayse here tonight. If the actions during the week of a certain FSW talent come into play, Valora might just be 'ripe for the picking' as they say. I don't see how she could be coming into this match at one-hundred percent, after that brutal attack by Hope Diamond.
Aiello: Valora had just won the EWC Television Title at the Scars and Stripes Pay-Per-View event on July 3rd, besting Chase Rex and then-champion Harvey Yorke that night in a triple threat match when she pinned the former after a brutal Nat 20. However it was Scott Grayse that had just defeated that man Chase Rex last week in a First-Blood contest on MNB 485 that earned him this opportunity. One would think that he is primed and ready.
Bennett: Yeah well if there's one thing that I like about this kid it's that he's crazy on top of crazy. I like the mind-games he plays, especially bringing that hammer down to the ring. Man, when you see this guy comin' straight at ya with that hammer in his hand, it makes you not want to be the one that's standing in his way. The Resident Madman might have a wounded champion ahead of him, but if he's as insane as he claims he is, he's a shark smelling blood in the water at this point.
Carter: Well, speaking of blood. That hammer that he carries around, the one he calls Helen, always seems to have fresh blood on her. Helen is a big part of what makes Scott Grayse, well... Scott Grayse. But in order to come away with that Television Championship he'll have to forgo using Helen and hope that his in-ring skills will suffice.
Aiello: Which Grayse has proven that he's certainly capable of doing; earn a pin fall through his talents, I mean.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent!
"Kick In The Teeth" by Papa Roach plays and Valora comes out with her manager, Mick, behind her. As she heads down the aisle toward the ring, Mick remains behind her, giving her last minute instructions and motivational utterings. She tags hands here and there before running up the steps and entering into the ring, where she goes about doing some boxing and kicks that "ooooh" and "awe" the fans. As her music dies, she goes to her corner and engages in some more warm up exercises.
Jessica Stroup: Now in the ring at this time, she hails from Phoenix, Arizona. Standing in at five-foot-eight and weighing in at one-hundred and forty-five pounds. Accompanied to the ring by her manager Mick, she is the EWC TELEVISION CHAMPION, VALORA THOMAS!
Bennett: Yeah you can see that Valora's face is a little bit dinged up from when she was hit in the face with her own championship belt. Glad to see that old man Mick is still breathing though!
Carter: That's incredibly rude.
Bennett: What?
Carter: Never mind. I will agree with you on one thing, Steve, and that's Valora Thomas is definitely not one-hundred percent physically after that brutal sneak attack perpetrated by Hope Diamond during a youth training seminar earlier this week. She wasn't just attacked with her own belt, either. Diamond wouldn't stop until she had also made Thomas the victim of the Curse of the Diamond... all right in front of a group of scared and unnerved children.
Aiello: Two very painful maneuvers indeed. But lets not forget about the mental aspects of the assault, and the type of toll that something of this caliber can have on a competitor. Can Valora Thomas possibly have her sole focus on defending the Television championship when she knows that Hope Diamond may be lurking in the shadows?
Bennett: Thomas is a champion, Joe. And if she wants to remain champion then she needs to learn to act like one. Part of that is not letting little attacks like that bother you when you've got a competent and compelling challenger ahead of you much like Scott Grayse. If she don't turn her attention solely on Grayse from bell to bell, then she won't hold the TV title long enough for her reign to be anything more than a footnote. Oh and by the way, what the referee don't see is perfectly legal, so don't count the hammer out of this one yet.
Aiello: Alright, well we're about to find out what happens next. Senior Referee Paul Turner has just finished checking the two competitors, and now he's calling for the opening bell...
Carter: Here we go!
DING DING DING
The match starts off with cheers from the audience as the two competitors meet at ring center already swinging. Valora Thomas matches shot for shot the right hands thrown by challenger Grayse, but that is until Grayse drills her with a headbutt to the bruised section of Valora's forehead. Mick is already shouting in at Valora to keep her guard up as she backs herself into the corner. She takes a few uppercut shots to the midsection as she keeps her arms up to protect her face.
Scott Grayse with an irish whip sends Thomas hard back-first into the opposite corner, but Thomas comes out of the corner with momentum and nails a big clothesline that gets the fans behind her. The Sinister Psychopath no sooner hits the mat that he's finding the defending Champion's knee driven down into his chest with a leaping knee drop.
Grayse rolls himself over to the ropes where he clutches the bottom rope while asking the Referee to enforce a rope break. Thomas does as the referee asks of her, which gives Grayse a moment to get back up to his feet and to collect himself.
Bennett: Smart, smart move by the Personification of Perfection right there... grabbing the ropes when they're close and demanding a break. What brilliance. Thomas though, not so much!
Carter: What exactly are you talking about?
Bennett: Look Carter, it's plain and simple. If you want to be a champion around here, you've got to have a measure of aggression... a measure of ruthlessness.
Carter: So what you're saying is that Valora Thomas doesn't have these qualities?
Bennett: I'm not saying that at all, kid. All I'm saying is that if she keeps on letting Grayse get up, then eventually Scott Grayse will put her down.
Aiello: All Valora is guilty of is following the direction of the senior official. So what you're implying is... that only lawbreakers can be champions..?
Bennett: I'm not implying anything!
A smirking Grayse is back up and ready to go at it again with Thomas. They encircle each other before meeting in the center of the ring, this time with a collar-and-elbow tie-up initiated by Grayse. Grayse gets the quick upperhand, driving his knee into the midsection of Thomas before taking her down with a snapmare followed by a quick dropkick to the back of her head. The maneuver folded Thomas forward, causing her to fall down to the mat onto her stomach, which Grayse follows up with an elbow drop between her shoulder blades and the base of her neck.
Grayse looking for a version of a crossface but this early in the match Thomas is able to wiggle free. Both competitors back up but this time its Grayse that lands the clothesline that takes the champion down. Thomas hits the mat but sits up where she is grabbed by Grayse. He pulls her back to her feet using her hair as a grip. In the background the referee is admonishing Grayse for hair pulling but Grayse is too busy hitting Thomas in the throat with a European Uppercut to pay any attention to him.
Thomas once more ends up with her back against the ropes and now the referee is calling for a break. Grayse steps forward and grabs Thomas by the hair once more. He pulls her out to the center of the ring and drops her with a DDT. The referee still admonishing, he has to stop though when Grayse covers Thomas.

Kickout by Valora Thomas right after the count of two.
Bennett: See? That's exactly what I mean! Sometimes you've just got to let the referee do his job while you continue to do yours.
Carter: ...and run the risk of being disqualified?
Bennett: Hey, look – when's the last time that one of your Daddy's referees disqualified someone for pulling hair, or not performing a rope break?
Carter: ...well actually that would be-
Bennett: Save it kid. Just take it from me, alright? Everything good in life is worth the risk that it takes of obtaining it. If Grayse needs to bend a few rules to become Television champion, ain't nobody gonna remember how he got it twenty years from now.
Aiello: In any case, Scott Grayse now has the upper hand on the Television Champion; God only knows what kind of trouble that could spell out for Miss Thomas.
Grayse has a few words for the referee about his perceived slow count. After a bit of back-and-fourth bickering, Grayse turns his attention back to Thomas. He stands up and works to pull Thomas back to her feet, but Thomas fights back with some hammer fists to the midsection as she regains her vertical base. Thomas turns to run towards the ropes but Grayse uses a double-handful of the champion's hair to slam her hard down to the mat.
Carter: Awh come on, now!
Bennett: What? I don't see anything wrong with Grayse's tactics here.
Aiello: Besides the fact that he's not wrestling a clean fight.
Bennett: Clean schmean! This is the EWC Television Championship that we're talking about! These kinds of opportunities don't come across you every day!
Carter: Well I'm glad that we have Paul Turner in the ring. He'll get this straightened out.
Turner does have more words with Grayse, warning him not only for the recent transgressions but also telling him that he's on the brink of a DQ. Grayse seems to get the hint, and turns to grab Valora again, this time not using her hair as a grip. Valora suddenly reaches up and pulls Grayse down into a surprise inside cradle!
Aiello: Inside cradle! Cover!

Carter: So close!
Both Thomas and Grayse are quick back to their feet, but it's Grayse who takes Thomas down with a thunderous lariat that nearly spins her inside out before she falls back down to the mat.
Aiello: Wow. What an exchange there. Valora Thomas surprised Scott Grayse there and nearly got him with the inside cradle. I don't know what you think about that, Steve. Wouldn't it be fair to say that it's important that you always keep your focus on your opponent as well?
Bennett: That was a close call. Whew. Scott Grayse must have seen his golden opportunity flash right before his eyes there. Good thing he took Thomas right back down, but yes, now he needs to stay on her... and forget literally everything else.
The crowd starts a low rumbling cheer that grows in intensity every few moments in hopes that they can somehow power Valora Thomas to will herself forward. Mick pounds on the ring apron from the outside as Grayse pulls Thomas back to her feet with something devious in mind. Grayse with a hard irish whip sends Thomas into the corner and then he follows up with a big corner splash. Thomas staggers out of the corner looking to be on dream street, and that gives Grayse an idea. Grayse charges all the way to the far side of the ring, bouncing off of the ropes for added momentum.
He charges Valora Thomas looking for a big boot but somehow Thomas ducks the kick with a split which sends Grayse stumbling for balance. Thomas pops right back up to her feet with ease and pops off a beautiful Pele kick that catches Grayse right on the bridge of his nose. Both competitors now down on the mat as the EWC fans cheer voraciously.
Aiello: What an impressive Pele Kick by Thomas there. This is at least part of the reason why Valora Thomas is our current TV Champion, Max.
Carter: That's right Joe. Her athleticism and her seemingly never-ending stamina. She might be small but she has proven on more than one occasion that she can take a beating and still come back for more.
Bennett: Yeah well you guys are making a little bit of puke splash up in the back of my throat – how much more biased can you two really be? I mean come on!
Carter: You are going to talk to us about bias?
Bennett: We all know how good Thomas is, we sure have heard it enough times. Son o bitch, just move on already!
Thomas is back up to her feet, and she pumps her fists at her sides, fired up from the crowd. Grayse back up to his knees, but now the educated feet of Thomas begin to go to work. Calf-kicks to the chest hit one after another after another, the deep body shots echoing throughout the arena. Thomas finishes off her series by bouncing off of the ropes and coming back with an expertly placed shining wizard that looks like it could have decapitated most men. Grayse might not even be an exception. Thomas drops down and goes for a cover, hooking the far leg for leverage.

Kickout, Scott Grayse at two and a half.
Thomas looks a bit shocked that Grayse would kick out, but chooses to stay persistent. She pulls Grayse back up to his feet, delivering kicks to his legs to keep him honest. She follows up with forearm smashes and a big Yakuza knee that sends Grayse backpedaling into the ropes. Valora sees Grayse on the ropes literally and delivers the Three Steps to Death despite the fact that the referee is calling for a rope break. By the time that she does back away, Grayse staggers forward where Thomas can attack him legally. Thomas bounces off of the ropes looking for a superwoman punch that connects with the side of Grayse's face! The Sinister Psychopath goes down, and the defending Television Champion covers!

Thr- Scott Grayse just barely manages to get his shoulder up before the three! Thomas can't believe it, and neither can half of the fans.
Bennett: It's going to take a lot more than that to keep Scott Grayse down for the three! I assure you of that!
Aiello: You can see the look on Valora's face there, she really thought that she had the victory following that huge Superwoman punch.
Carter: Yeah Joe, when Valora Thomas hits someone you know that it's got that little bit extra force behind it. But I will say this: a lot of men would have stayed down for the three count after a move like that. So kudos for Scott Grayse showing his toughness and fortitude. This is what it takes to become a champion in the EWC!
Valora Thomas back up, and she pulls Grayse back to his feet with her. As she's holding his arm, she kicks it, perhaps setting him up for the Flying Armbar Submission. Grayse yanks his arm away and pulls himself back, gathering distance between he and Thomas. Thomas runs forward and leaps looking for the flying armbar submission known as the Ride of the Valkyries, but the challenger is able to block the attempt and shoves Thomas away. Grayse charges forward but Thomas catches him up under the chin with a ninja kick out of nowhere, sending Grayse back first into a nearby corner.
The fans cheer as Thomas pulls Grayse up into a seated position on the top rope, and then climbs up herself. She leaps into the air, looking for a top rope hurricanrana, but Grayse holds on instead. Thomas falls down to the canvas taking a hard landing with nothing to show for it. Grayse carefully steps up onto the top rope, and leaps off with the Faces of Grayse! Cover!
Aiello: Top Rope Leaping elbow drop by Grayse!
Bennett: That's got to be all!

Thr- Valora Thomas yanks her shoulder up off of the mat just before the referee's hand comes down for the three! The fans cheer wildly.
Carter: Unreal!
Grayse is back up and appears as if he is frothing at the mouth. He has a few choice words for the referee, and finds himself struggling not to get the hammer to bash Paul Turner's skull in. He turns his attention back towards Thomas and pulls the groggy champion back to her feet.
Thomas looks Grayse in the eye and raises her hands, telling Grayse to bring it, despite the fact that she may not have any energy left to fight his next attack off. Grayse laughs and blows her a kiss goodbye before taking a step back. He snaps his hips forward and unleashes a superkick – Lights Out! No! Valora Thomas ducks the kick and Grayse staggers forward toward the ropes.
Grayse turns and charges Thomas but Thomas leaps, spinning herself through the air with that devastating Nat 20 kick! No! Grayse ducks the 720 Spin Kick and Thomas falls stomach first to the mat. She scrambles to get back to her feet but Grayse pulls her right into a standing headscissor.
Thomas tries to fight it but Grayse locks her in the cradle piledriver position and hoists her up into the air. Thomas is somehow able to fight out of the Shattered Dreams, landing back on her feet. Grayse fires off with the Lights Out superkick! Thomas ducks!
Grayse turns but is met in the face with the Nat 20!!!
Carter: Nat 20! It hit! Cover!

DING DING DING
Jessica Stroup: The winner of the match, and STILL EWC TELEVISION CHAMPION – VALORA THOMAS!!!
Aiello: What an incredible match! Somehow, someway, Valora Thomas was able rise to the challenge of overcoming that sneak attack, and now she walks away victorious here this evening.
Bennett: I've got to give credit where credit is due. Valora Thomas, you did a fine job here this evening. But I'm telling you now little girl, you need to watch your back. Because Scott Grayse is a dangerous, deadly psychopath. If Diamond doesn't get to you first, Grayse will be back with his hammer and a nice new target to use it on!
Aiello: I will say that it was a great back-and-fourth contest between these two competitors. Scott Grayse has a lot to take from this even though he came up just a tad short here tonight. But in reality this is more of a message to the locker room than anything else. Thomas withstood the heinous attack from Hope Diamond and was still able to defend the TV Championship here tonight. If I'm Hope Diamond, I'm the one watching my back now.
Carter: I'm going to go ahead and agree, Joe. While it's a shame for Scott Grayse, he'll bounce back for sure. This won't be his last opportunity at gold unless he wants it to be. But yeah, message delivered to Hope Diamond here tonight. It's going to take more than what you did to Valora Thomas to keep her down. Valora Thomas is still our EWC Television Champion.
The show goes off of the air with Scott Grayse backing up the ramp with his one hand on his jaw and the other hand clutching Helen. He looks down to the ring as Valora Thomas holds the EWC Television Championship Belt up high above her head. Mick looks rather pleased as he stands next to his client while she soaks in adoration from the crowd. However we can tell by the look on Scott Grayse's face that this fight is far from over.

The scene opens backstage with Victor Price sitting in his office
The door opens
Victor: What in the holy hell are you doing here?
The camera pans out to show President Mac standing at the door
Mac: I liked your little announcement tonight .. from what I could hear over the boo's that is ..
Victor: I never set-out to be the loudest, or to be liked .. I'm here for the entertainment. I think I'm doing the job just fine
Mac: That's debatable
Victor: Look Mac, I've got a busy week ahead of me .. already planning next week's show .. what do I owe the pleasure of you being here uninvited?
Mac smirks
Mac: About next weeks show .. I was thinking of bringing in a guest host for the night
Victor: I appreciate the idea Mac .. well .. that's a lie, I'm gonna pass
Mac: Oh it's not a suggestion Vic .. it's a done signed deal
Victor sits back annoyed
Victor: Look Mac .. I don't want some B List celebrity who is promoting a movie coming onto my show and ..
Mac: Just stop talking Vic .. the details are on your phone. Check your messages
Mac walks off with a giant grin on his face as Victor pulls out his phone
Victor: You son of a mother fucking bitch ...
Victor slams his phone down hard on the table
Victor: You son of a bitch
The scene fades as the camera zooms in on the phone to reveal ...
