Match #1
Adrian Blackthrone Vs Archer Barrett Vs Chris Mosh Vs Colton Cooper Vs "Iron" Mike Strong Vs Jason Kortare Vs Jason Ryan Vs Kenneth Williams Vs Mark Strom Vs Mercury Vs Tanja Devereaux
(11 Person Battle Royal)
(No Time Limit)
(Ref:Mike Michaelson and Pierce Patterson)
(Winner Moves On To TBA #1 Contendership Match)
Duggan: time for a HUGE opener folks, an 11 person battle royal!
Loydson: Adrian Blackthorne is about to win us a #1 contendership match!
Martinez: Us?
Loydson: Damn right!
Duggan: Ok, then. We go to Chriqui to hear the first two entrants.
Chriqui: The following battle royal is for an entry into a TBA #1 contendership match! Every two minutes a new superstar will enter the fray until only one stands. Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana , weighing in at 115 pounds... TANJA DEVEREAUX!
Pyros hit as Videos of bustling crowds in various locations of New Orleans appear on the tron as "Daughters of Darkness" by Halestorm blasts on the P.A. system. Tanja comes out onto the top of the ramp in a style compared to Gail Kim during her early time in TNA before heading down the ramp with some of her black leather coat flows at her feet while the mix of boos and jeers and cheers from the crowd fills the arena. She slaps hands with a few fans at ringside before she reaches the bottom of the ramp.
Tanja walk up towards the ring and enters via under the bottom rope and jumps onto the middle turnbuckle. She poses as she does her usual taunt with a hand and arm in the air as "Daughters of Darkness" continues to play. Tanja steps off the turnbuckle as she removes the leather coat and throws it into a random corner.
Duggan: Tanja is fired up for this one folks!.
Loydson: And im fired up for Tanja! Think i could get her number Kid?
Martinez: A true professional.
Duggan: ...
Chriqui: Her opponent, from Boulder, Colorado, United States, weighing in at 233 pounds... ARCHER BARRETT!
The generic white lights coating the arena immediately transform into several variations of violet, crimson, and midnight blue tones. The darkened colored lights flicker and continue to shower the heads of the audience members. Sporadic hoots and hollers are heard as fans begin realizing who's preparing to grace them with his presence.
'Whiskey in the Jar' by Metallica begins to play. The hard guitar riff pounds through the sound system at a near deafening volume and is met with an equally deafening roar from those in attendance.
Barrett aggressively pushes aside the curtains and enters the arena with a familiar look of purpose. Focused primarily on the objective, he intentionally aims his strut down the middle of the aisle to avoid high fives and handshakes from both sides of the guardrails.
A slight smile can be seen forming at the corner of his mouth as he arrives to center stage and ascends the steel steps. He maneuvers himself between the ropes and commences with his ritual of crouching beside the nearest corner. All the fans receive in return for their cheers is a mere head nod from Barrett. It's quick enough that no one blinks to ensure they witness his acknowledgement.
Barrett extends his chest and rolls his shoulders to stretch the muscles. He closes his eyes, anticipates the sound of the bell, and prepares for battle.
DING DING DING
This one starts of on fire as Tanja and Archer rush into each other, looking to quickly toss out their opponent before more enter the ring. Archer used his considerable size advantage to lock Tanja in a side headlock while hammering down with punches. Tanja wouldn’t be denied though as she hoisted Archer up onto her shoulders and then leaped sideways into a death valley driver! Archer is getting to his feet but Tanja pulls him in and bends him backwards before pulling him into a spin and bringing his face crashing into the mat, it’s Bourbon Street! Tanja lifts Archer up and shoves him over the top rope!
Archer Barrett has been eliminated!
Tanja’s look of joy fades back to serious as…
“Short Change Hero” sounds off as Mark Storm rushes in from the back!
Mark slides into the ring and rushes towards Tanja, hitting a massive shotgun dropkick that flings her back into the corner… Tanja explodes out and catches Mark with a roundhouse kick! Mark falls to a knee but he quickly exlpodes up into a lariat! Tanja is turned inside out! Mark pulls her up to her knees before bringing an elbow strike down on the top of her head! Mark takes a few steps back and proceeds to send a volley of calculated kicks into Tanja. Mark backs up to hit a final big kick but Tanja leaps up and pulls him into a reverse STO!
“Iron Man” sounds of as “Iron” Mike rushes in!
Mike quickly rolls into the ring and rushes towards the fallen duo, aiming to toss one out! Mike drags up Tanja and sends her over the top rope but no! Tanja is holding on! Mike is trying to break her fingers off the rope and Mark quickly jumps up to send Iron Mike packing! I
Iron Mike has been eliminated.
ron Mike punches the air and sighs before heading to the back. Tanja uses her impressive upper body strength to flip herself back over the ropes and right into the clutches of Mark Storm who hits a nasty German Suplex! Tanja rolls out of the ring, crashing to the padded concrete for a breather. Mark follows suit and roles out onto the apron but leaping off into a stomp on Tanja! But she moved! Mark grabs at his leg as Tanja positions him right and lands a wicked STO backbreaker! She falls back onto the barricade for a breather.
“Judas” by Fozzy hits as Jason Ryan rushes to the ring!
Tanja rolls back into the ring to meet Jason and eats a spear! Jason pulls her up and lands a superkick right on the chin! Jason lets out a taunt before dragging Tanja up into a side effect!
“Black Sunshine” hits as Big Cab comes walking down the ramp! Jason turns and readys himself as the big man enters the ring. Jason throws punches at Cab but it’s not slowing him down as Cab quickly locks his big meaty hand around the throat of Jason! Cab lifts Jason up and turns to chokebomb him over the top rope and to the floor!
Jason Ryan has been eliminated.
Chris Mosh comes running down the ramp, not waiting for his music to hit!
Mosh leaps up onto the apron and then steps onto the top rope before leaping into the ring to give Big Cab one hell of a blockbuster! The ring shakes under the near 500 pounds crashing down at once! Both men are quick to their feet, Mosh locks his arms around Cab’s waist and is looking for a German Suplex but Cab is going nowhere as he fires a quick headbutt that nearly breaks Mosh’s nose! Big Cab spins around, almost too fast to see it, and punches Mosh square in the jaw, dropping him like a sack of puppies! Mosh is trying to get up, but falls back down. Mark Storm slides into the ring and looks to rush Big Cab but Cab spins around and catches Storm with The Full Monty and Storm is turned inside out! He rolls back out of the ring and crashes to the floor.
“Shell Shocked” sounds off as Mercury rushes towards the ring!
Back in the ring Big Cab has helped Mosh up and with all his might picks Mosh up and launches him over the top rope into Mercury!
Chris Mosh has been eliminated.
Duggan: Holy cow, what a match this has been!
Loydson: 4 eliminated, too many more to come.
And with that a bell sounds as Kenneth Williams rushes out, followed by Jason Kortare and Adrian Blackthorne! Kortare rolls into the ring first and goes right after Tanja, putting the boots to her with a flurry of stomps and kicks. Blackthorne slides in after and rushes into Jason with a huge big boot that sends him over the top rope!
Jason Kortare has been eliminated.
Adrian picks up Tanja and sends her over, she crashes to the ground and the refs check on her, she was in the match for over 15 minutes!
Tanja Devereaux has been eliminated.
On the other side of the ring Mercury has slid in and rushes into Big Cab with a flying clothesline of the ropes that takes the big man down. Mercury pulls him up and hits a stiff neckbreaker. Kenneth Willaims grabs Mercury and send him over the top rope!
Mercury has been eliminated.
Williams rushes Blackthorne and lands Lights Out! Williams is on fire! But Cab is up and has his massive hands wrapped around William’s head! Cab swings Williams towards the ropes and the smaller man goes, but he’s bringing Cab with him! Both go over the top rope!
Big Cab and Kenneth Williams have been eliminated!
Blackthorne struggles to his feet, using the ropes for leverage. He looks around, he’s won! He’s won! But where’s the bell? Blackthorne turns around just as Mark Storm rolls into the ring and floors him with a shotgun dropkick! Blackthorne goes over the top rope and crashes to the outside! Mark Storm wins!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner Mark Storm!
Duggan: What a way to kick off Friday Night Rampage!
Loydson: God damnit! I wanted Blackthorne to win!
Martinez: Congratulations Mark Storm! What a win!
Duggan: Congratulations indeed. Mark moves on to a TBA #1 contendership match and we move on to commercial break. Don’t go anywhere.
A calming melody accompanies footage of the United States flag waving slowly in the wind. It crossfades into a soaring shot over the Rocky Mountains, cuts to a bald eagle shown flying in a clear blue sky.
Voiceover: President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said: ‘In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved’.
A field of crops being harvested, a bustling sidewalk in a city.
Voiceover: Freedom is the base upon which the United States of America was founded; the need for it compelling our forefathers to form this nation.
The Washington and Lincoln monuments, the White House.
Voiceover: But your freedom has become tainted. In a land of democracy you are subjected to the rule of a man who calls himself King.
The image of the White House fades into black and white, distorts, slowly fading into darkness.
Voiceover: You have become complacent and weakened without change. Today, you stand still.
A black and white image of the EWC United States Championship.
Voiceover: You have become disgraced, trapped in the grip of a tyrant.
The image fades into darkness. Silence.
Voiceover: And yet... you still have hope.
The music returns, louder and more upbeat as the sun rises over the Arizona desert and meadow flowers bloom.
Voiceover: You still have a chance of a better tomorrow.
Families play and smile to the camera, a child and a dog run into the waves.
Voiceover: Another opportunity for redemption.
The liberty bell shines bright.
Voiceover: And freedom.
The flag is shown once more, waving majestically from a pole.
Voiceover: Your only way out...
An image fades into view...
Voiceover: Is Silas Isaac Naberius.
Voiceover: Paid for by the SIN For America campaign.
Match #2
Annabelle
Vs Dr. Psycho
(X-Division Match)
(20 Minutes Time Limit)
(Ref: Mike Michaelson)
Duggan: X-Division action up for you next, folks. And it's an interesting one too, as Annabelle goes one on one with Doctor Psycho. I'll be honest with you guys, I see the similarities that these two both possess but I think it's fair to say that they have their vast differences too.
Loydson: The X-Division caters towards competitors who enjoy inflicting punishment on others, they both fit under that bracket, which ultimately means that tonight we're going to witness a bloodbath.
Martinez: I think everyone knows that the X-Division has been heating up in recent weeks, with Kendrick Kross as champion, those involved in the division know that they'll have to step up their game. This is just another opportunity to do that and I can't wait for it!.
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for a one fall under X-Division rules! Introducing first, From Atlanta Georgia, weighing in at 110 pounds… she is... ANNABELLE!!!
Making her way down the ramp, she caresses the face of a fan On her way to the ring, giving him a wink. Once at ringside, she slowly ascends the steps and into the ring, she walks over to the corner and takes a step on the second rope looking out into the crowd with a somewhat blank look on her face, quickly her ever familiar evil smirk appears as she screams along with the fans at ringside. Quickly her head snaps back locking eyes in a death stare with her opponent. She takes a few seconds and slowly steps down from the turnbuckle, her eyes never leaving that of her opponents.
Duggan: Annabelle has been a mainstay in the roster for a number of years now and no doubt has her sights on capturing that X-Division title.
Loydson: Everybody in the X-Division has their eyes set on that title, Grizz. We all know that Annabelle has the capability and the ingredients, but it's whether she'll want it more than her opponents - and she's coming up against a very capable Doctor Psycho here tonight.
Martinez: Very capable indeed, and some would say equally as disturbed.
Chrqui: His/her opponent, from Baltimore Maryland! Standing 5 feet 9 inches Tall, weighing in at 200 pounds... He is the Surgeon of the Squared Circle: DOCTOOOOR PSYYYYCHO!!!
The Lights in the Arena Darken as the beginning Guitar riff of "I Don't Wanna Stop" by Ozzy Osborne hits the speakers and the Mac Tron Plays the stage lights at the ramp flash and strobe in an eerie green color. As the song continues to play Dr.Psycho rises up from the Stage his back facing us from amid a fog and slowly turns around revealing his face from behind a plague doctor mask with top hat and cane wearing a black cape. he makes a slow march to the ring stepping over the ropes and sitting in the corner of the ring.
DING DING DING
Once the bell rings, both competitors move from their stagnant positions and greet each other in the centre of the ring, where they exchange hand to hand combat. It's Psycho who gets the upper-hand after delivering an ear clap to Annabelle, following this with a swift Judo hip toss that sends her to the canvas. Mounting on top of her, he delivers a number of crisp strikes to the forehead of Annabelle, trying to cut her open but Annabelle manages to evade by rolling under the bottom rope and catching a breather on the outside. Psycho follows, a man possessed with extreme tendencies and the urge to inflict as much damage to Annabelle as he possibly can. Annabelle greets him on the outside with a kick to the mid section, before driving his head into the ground with a DDT - the fans nearby cringing at the impact. Annabelle doesn't stop there! Searching underneath the ring, she finds a steel chair and yanks it from underneath, taking a run up as a recovering Psycho uses the barriers to help himself back up to his feet. Annabelle charges towards him as he turns, and connects with a shot to the head - with Psycho immediately being sent down, to the cheers and adulation of the fans. Annabelle then grabs him and rolls him back into the ring, before climbing onto the top rope and preparing herself for a dive. She flies off, looking to hit her signature Shooting Star Press from the top but Psycho manages to move out of the way right at the last second! She clutches onto her stomach and rolls around the ring, in obvious pain and anguish.
Duggan: That shooting star press attempt from Annabelle back fired!.
Loydson: This doesn't look too good for Annabelle right now.
Martinez: Doctor Psycho is laughing right now, look at him!
Duggan: A sick man who goes by the name of Psycho, are you surprised?.
After his pin attempt only see's a two count, Psycho grabs Annabelle and throws her into the ropes, running at her and taking her down with a Lou Thesz press - immediately delivering a number of punches to her head. This time, he manages to make her bleed and is laughing as blood trickles down her forehead. Bringing her back up to her feet, Psycho looks to continue the onslaught of pain in the corner of the ring by the turnbuckle, but Annabelle isn't taking it. She blocks each strike attempt that he makes, kicking him in the mid-section, performing a Reverse DDT on him too! This allows Annabelle some time to recuperate, with the fans supporting her and a revitalisation within her, Annabelle looks to put an end to things as she grabs Psycho by his hair. Psycho however is quick and accurate, another ear clap followed by his signature Hammer Arm Clothesline - that sends Annabelle flipping inside out! Psycho then lifts her up and hits the Psycho Driver before following with a pin - a one, two, three to secure the victory!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner via pinfall - DOCTOR PSYCHO!
Duggan: That's what you call a match that lived up to it's expectation. Doctor Psycho manages to get the win this time round though.
Loydson: Both competitors gave it their all, but Psycho was demonic in that ring tonight and that's what the difference was between the two of them.
Martinez: What a great match up that was, and what a great evening we still have lined up for you.
Duggan: Don't get anywhere, we'll be back after this!
The crowd politely applauds as Ace King strolls into view with the United States Championship on his shoulder. He straightens himself up and walks over to a nearby monitor, but EWC interviewer Brian Spade cuts him off at the pass.
Brian Spade: Ace, a few quick thoughts ahead of your match tonight? Cyrus Black’s arguably the hottest wrestler in EWC right now, so what do you have to do to walk out of Baku as the #1 Contender to the Undisputed Championship?
‘The Gambler’ is visibly agitated by the question, though he exhales heavily and shakes his head to keep himself calm.
Ace King: How quickly people forget…
The United States Champion forces out a laugh to mask his temper bubbling under the surface.
Ace King: I’ve gotten the sense that people are treating tonight like fait accompli for Cyrus, and why not? He’s obviously shown himself to be damn near unstoppable since coming back, and he’d undoubtedly provide one hell of a challenge for Dom. That being said…
Ace pauses to clear his throat, doing his best to keep himself calm.
Ace King: Even though it’s a #1 Contender Match, I feel like something of a forgotten man here. It feels like, no matter what I do, I find a way to get overshadowed or undervalued.
‘The Gambler’ looks down at his bare shoulder before returning his gaze to Spade.
Ace King: You may not see it, Brian, but that shoulder has as big a chip on it as it can possibly bear going into tonight. For too long, I’ve dealt with questions about why I can’t get the job done, a lot of them coming from within my own head. For too long, I’ve dealt with people questioning my legitimacy as a standard-bearer here, no matter what I do to shut people up time and time again… and I’ve had enough of it. I have bled out for this business time and time again, and if Cyrus Black wants to become the #1 Contender, he’d best be ready to force me out of here in a body bag, because I WILL NOT STOP until I’ve EARNED another shot at getting to the top.
The United States Champion takes his leave just as his emotions are about to boil over, leaving Spade dumbfounded as we go to… (next segment / match)[/quote]
Match #3
Draco Lazarus
Vs Silas Isaac Naberius
(Singles Match)
(30 Minutes Time Limit)
(Ref: Mike Michaelson)
Duggan: Time for our next match, and this match is definitely destined to be a hotly contested ones.
Loydson: You got that right, two of my favourite wrestlers in the world in Draco Lazarus and Silas Isaac Naberius are going to look who the better man is!
Martinez: You just like them because they like playing dirty, Phillip! But you’re still right that these two are going to put on a hell of a match!
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for One Fall Introducing first, from Orlando, Florida, weighing in at 216 pounds... DRACO LAZARUS!
With the theme from Jaws starting to play, most fans in the crowd already explode into negativity as they boo at the top of their lungs. The appearance of the Viking who blows his horn doesn’t do much to appease them as soon it’s followed by the appearance of ‘The King of EWC Television’ Draco Lazarus being carried into sight of the entire crowd.
Sitting on his golden throne, he is slowly but surely moved towards the ring as he uses his elevated position to overlook all his haters with a smug smile that makes clear what he feels about the reaction he got.
Once next to the ring, he leaps from his throne into the ring before waving the men that carried his throne to go away once more. Finally inside the ring, he takes his time to remove his robes and crown and hand them off to his people.
Leaning into the turnbuckle he waits for his opponent to make his entrance.
Duggan: These fans in Azerbaijani are letting their voices be heard, and they’re not positive ones!
Loydson: These fans wouldn’t know what a star was if one hit them in their faces, Grizzly!
Martinez: Or maybe they just appreciate hard workers better than scumbag cheats, I know I do!
Chriqui: His opponent, Making his way to the ring... residing in Whitechapel, London, England, weighing 167 lbs... SILAS ISAAC NABERIUS!
Entering the arena to a chorus of boos that was on par with Draco’s, Silas merely tilted his hat a little lower to not have to look at all the people in attendance. Twirling the cane in his hands, he makes his way down the ramp and via the ring steps onto the apron. Once inside, he circled the ring sneering at all the booing fans in attendance before taking his place in his designated corner.
Martinez: Ever since Silas became the number one contender to Ace King’s title, he’s been even more vile than usual!
Duggan: Wouldn’t you want the world to know you’re the best if you were number one contender? Don’t answer that, because you’d probably be too busy pandering to these fans instead!
DING DING DING
With referee Michaelson gesturing for the two men to get started, they both take their time to circle each other, neither feeling pressed for time and simply fond to hear the crowd boo and wait for the other to attack.
But eventually, Draco took the center of the ring gesturing for the Rampage superstar to give ihm his best, tapping his cheek and presenting an open shot for Silas to hit him on. Silas happily obliges, but not with any force as he gives him a cynical slap.
Draco reels back, putting his hand on his cheek and decides to show his appreciation by taking a run at the Brit, first making it seem he goes for a clothesline but as Silas drops his head Draco himself drops onto his back and slaps him right back into the face causing Silas to stumble backwards!
Using his agility Draco quickly pounces back onto his feet and follows it up with a clothesline, a back elbow, and as Silas stumbles into the corner his jaw is jacked by a somersault stunner!
Loydson: The Golden Ratio, the golden combination for the Golden Boy!
Quickly Draco goes for a pin, but Silas kicks out after two much to the dismay of the Golden Boy.
Martinez: You need more than that to beat someone, Draco should know that if he wasn’t so cocky all the time!
Grabbing a fistful of Silas’ hair, Draco pulls his opponent to his feet, and with a nasty smile he looks to gouge the man’s eyes out, but his hand is grabbed by Silas who is quick to start tugging the the fingers into directions they weren’t designed for, causing Draco to wince in pain as they are torqued back and forth.
Martinez: This is gruesome, why isn’t the referee stepping in and stopping him?!
Loydson: Shut up you wimp, this is how the British wrestle and it’s amazing!
Duggan: Love it or hate it, it seems to be really effective!
Grimacing from the pain inflicted on his hand, Draco gritted his teeth and started putting the heel of his boot onto the shins of his opponent to try and break up the holds on his finger. Slowly but surely Silas loses his grip, and with just enough momentum Draco breaks free and steps back, stomps his foot onto the mat and then delivering a hard superkick onto the already hurting shin of Silas forcing the man onto his knees.
Without waiting a second extra, Draco closes the gap and grabs his neck to set him up for the gold star. But Silas wasn’t done yet, and once more starts to bite the injured hand of Draco to get him to grimace. A small distance made, Silas’ errant hand finds Draco’s eyes and ‘accidentally’ rakes the nails straight across them, causing the uprising star to clutch at his face in agony.
With Draco not being able to see Silas skulk about, Naberius goes in for the kill as he grabs the back of Draco’s head and pulls him down, driving his knees into his spine with A KNIFE FOR YOUR BACK!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via PIN FALL, in -I'll do this... SILAS ISAAC NABERIUS
Duggan: I think Silas came out here to show that there’s nobody dirtier than he is, and he might’ve accomplished that tonight. These fans didn’t like it one bit, but Silas seems to be delighted with the result!
Loydson: Naberius came in tonight to show he’s the #1 contender to Ace King’s title for a reason, and whilst Draco gave him a run for his money, Silas was too much tonight!
Martinez: I don’t like how Silas gets his wins, and he honestly puts a chill down my spine, but he gets results, and he’ll be aiming his sights on his match with Ace King now!
Duggan: Well, neither these men will forget this match any time soon I think. Time for Rampage to a commercial break, but stay tuned because the night’s only going to get more spectacular!
The scene fades in to the backstage area, where we see the EWC International Champion Cyrus Black giving last minute pointers to David “Octane” Gowolski before his big match against Dominic Sanders.
Cyrus: …so I says to Doris, I says… I can’t live on carrots... I need some meat in my life...
Suddenly, leaping into frame is the third Kilt Brother Kyle Gautier, wearing his customary two sashes, crisscrossed his chest like a bandolier. He has three gift bags overflowing with tissue paper.
Gautier: Fellas! Tonight is our final night together on international tour!
DOG: I know! Guys, its been a blast. I mean, how great do you have to be to drink Ireland dry?
Cyrus: I couldn't have asked for two better road partners. I hope we can still hang out when we head back to the states…
Gautier: Honestly, it does feel like last day of summer camp, where we exchange addresses and promise to ‘totally stay in touch.’
DOG: Whatever, I'm still ‘2 Sweet 2 Be 4Gotten’ from all my yearbooks.
Cyrus: My go-to was to always sign the crack of the yearbook after everyone else signed their front and back covers.
Gautier: I was always told to Stay Sweet… but those kids weren't my supervisors.
The three chuckle and then Kyle remembers he came there for a reason.
Gautier: Oh! Before I forget…I got us all something…I hope you like it…
Kyle hands Cyrus the gift bag that had a picture of Material Girl Madonna while he hands David the one covered in Paw Patrol animals. The guys give a piss poor attempt at saying Kyle didn't have to as they erupt into a volcanic eruption of colored tissue paper. Finally, the boys stop, look at each other, then at Kyle, back at each other, and then back to their respective presents.
Cyrus: Wha...?
DOG: Buh…?
Gautier: You like?
Cyrus pulls out his gift, a utilty kilt of gold and black, with David pulling out one that is hunter green and black, both with five flag patches in a pattern on the lower seam that has an open space between bog enough for another similar sized patch. Kyle pulls out the all purple utility kilt he had made for himself.
Gautier: I got us all patches of the places we went. Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Germany, and now here, Azerbaijan. We made all sorts of memories, wouldn't you say?
They all look off into the distance as if a flashback would happen if this were a sitcom. About twenty seconds later, they refocus and chuckle together and at the same time…
All: Classic.
Gautier: So now, I just wanted to commemorate our time.
Cyrus: I love it, man. You didn't have to do this.
DOG: Yeah, this is above and beyond, my dude. But what is this space for?
Gautier: Ah, that's the best part…
He hands them each an envelope and smirks. They open their envelope and find a patch of the American flag. They all smile.
Gautier: What do y'all say we continue this party at home?
He holds out his fist as the other two place theirs in the center. A graphic of “#KiltBros” flies in like the GI Joe title.
Match #5
David "Octane" Gowolski
Vs Dominic Sanders
(Singles Match, Non-Title)
(30 Minutes Time Limit)
(Ref: Pierce Patterson)
'Blue on Black' by Five Finger Death Punch plays as D.O.G walks out to the ramp to a loud cheer. As Octane walks down towards the ring the fans start up a “KILT BROS.... KILT BROS... KILT BROS...” chant. Octane greets a few of the fans on the way down the ramp before climbing into the ring and raising both arms.
Chriqui: And there opponent....weighing in at 210 pounds.... residing from San Antonio, Texas.... DAVID “OCTANE” GOWOLSKI!!!!!!
Duggan: Octane scored a big win last week, and he’ll be looking to go 2-0 against a big opponent this week.
Martinez: One third of the Kilt Bros alongside Kyle Gautier and Cyrus Black – with Cyrus competing for number one contendership to Sanders’ title later tonight, this could be a big night for the Kilt Bros against America’s Most Hated!
The lights go out in (arena name). Purple lights cut on around the entrance ramp as "Drop the World" by Lil' Wayne begins playing.
"I got ice in my veins, blood in my eyes
Hate in my heart, love in my mind"
Dominic Sanders steps out from the back in a dark purple hoodie and black wrestling tights on, finished by white boots. The EWC Undisputed Championship hangs from his right hand. The hood of his sweatshirt drapes over his eyes as he stands at the top of the ramp. Both members of The Limit follow and flank him on either side as he stands at the top of the ramp and soaks in the boos from the crowd.
"So I pick the world up and I'ma drop it on your fucking head!"
Dominic beats his chest with his left fist and raises the Undisputed Championship in the air with a roar. The crowd boos even louder as he starts to make his way down to the ring. A cocky grin can be seen under the hood of his sweatshirt as he and The Limit walk down the ramp.
Chriqui: Their opponent... from Aledo, Texas. Weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds... He is the EWC Undisputed Champion! DOMINIIIIC SAAAAANDEEERS!
Sanders rolls underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. He jumps up to his feet and stares out into the unadoring crowd underneath the hood of his sweatshirt, all while holding the Undisputed Championship high in the air. He grins and shakes his head as he moves over to the corner and waits.
Duggan: The champ is here and ready to take on the relative newcomer, Gowolski. Will Sanders score the win here, or will Octane pull off a hell of a victory?
Martinez: Octane could be in with a—
Loydson: Sanders is going to destroy him. Fact. Someone bring me a damn beer for this one!
DING DING DING
This one is an exciting back and forth contest with Sanders bringing his power game against a well-matched speedy Octane. D.O.G. starts off strong, dodging an attempted big boot when he’s slumped in the corner, and he scores a narrow two-count after rolling Sanders up. The Champ is slightly dazed allowing Octane to blast him with a dropkick, sending him into the ropes, and Gowolski brings him down with an impressive headscissors. For a good five minutes Gowolski remains on top, getting the FNR crowd solidly behind him as he runs rings around Sanders, using his speed to keep Dominic on his toes. Octane looks for a early win as he drops Sanders with a big enzuigiri and keeps him grounded with a standing moonsault, before he heads to the top, looking for an early Doggy Style frog splash – but Sanders gets the knees up and punishes him for it! With DOG stunned Sanders brings him crashing down with a big powerslam, and land with a knee drop. Sanders keeps Octane on the mat with some heavy strikes, before hauling him up and sends him into the ropes twisting him and bringing him crashing down with a big spinebuster. Sanders raises an arm to the crowd – who boo him in return – and as Gowolski staggers to his feet Sanders hooks him and sends him flying with a Funky Town T-Bone suplex! Sanders scores a two count before dragging Gowolski to his feet, rallying him with some strikes. The pair go back and forth for the remainder of the match, each scoring some big moves and close two counts, before Sanders hauls Gowolski up for the Riptide, his fireman’s carry into backstabber. He throws Octane forward, only for D.O.G to twist himself round for an attempted hurricanrana! He throws himself back but Sanders hangs on, hauling him up – and slamming him down with a powerbomb! Taking advantage of the big move Sanders drags Gowolski back up onto his shoulders – into Riptide! He covers… one… two… three!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: Here is your winner, via pinfall in 24 minutes… The Undisputed Champion… Dominic Sanders!
Sanders raises a hand in victory and parades the ring, showing off his Undisputed Championship to the fans. Gowolski struggles to his feet and there’s a brief moment where he and Sanders lock eyes, and the champ seems to have some respect for Octane’s performance, before he heads to the back.
Duggan: The champ takes it but D.O.G but on a hell of a fight tonight!
Martinez: I think we can expect a bright future for Octane here on Friday Nights.
Loydson: YEAH SANDERS!
The camera cuts backstage to find Brian Spade taking a drink off his coffee and looking over his notes, he looks up and spits the coffee out of his mouth
Spade: What the...why the…how the...
The camera pulls back to show ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love standing in front of Brian Spade
Spade: What are you doing here in Baku, Azerbaijan?
Love: Well there seems to be an open door policy here in the EWC so a quick 5 hour and 10 min flight from France and here I am at Friday Night Rampage and I’m here to see one guy and one guy only, no disrespect to Ace King and Cyrus Black but these eyes…
Tommy points his eyes behind his glasses
Love: Will be on the one and only Scorpio…
Spade: Killjoy’s opponent a week from Sunday at Prime #051…
Love: Very good Brian, you see it became aware to me that Scorpio’s...well I don’t know what the hell to call him but Creme de la Creme found is way to Ruse, Bulgaria for World Wide and was taken aback by Killjoy’s entrance for the Main Event and put the fear of God in Scorpio’s mind that someone might out shine him and has replaced him as the twinkle in Creme’s eye…
Spade: I don’t think that’s exactly…
Love: Hell have no fury like a woman scorned...or on the verge of being replaced by a younger hotter version and right now there is no hotter star than the Indy Champion Killjoy Ito!!! So I get it, Creme comes home and can’t stop talking about Killjoy well it got Scorpio’s blood boiling and he made damn sure he got his match with Killjoy in order to take back his standing as the most flamboyant star in all of wrestling and that’s ok, I’m here to tell him Killjoy has no desire to try and fit the Jimmy Choo’s of Scorpio but nonetheless one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions is going to come a calling at Prime #051 so here I am at Rampage to get a close up look at Scorpio…
Spade: So this is a scouting trip, and…
Brian looks behind Tommy
Spade: Killjoy is…
Love: Not here, he’s back in Orleans, France training and taking part in Prime’s daily schedule, as the Indy Champion he’s a top request anytime we roll into a new town and honestly there was no need to put a 10 plus hour round trip on his body, no I will do what I do best and do the leg work on his opponents and have him ready to send Scorpio back to you here on Rampage a beaten man…
Spade: Now hold on one second Tommy, you seem to be underestimating…
But Tommy holds up his hand to silence Brian Spade
Love: I am doing no such thing, I understand what a talent Scorpio is, I’ve done my homework and I understand we have only seen a glimpse of the talent Scorpio is but what people need to also understand is what a talent Killjoy Ito is. There is this belief that if you’re not on Brawl or Rampage then you are less of a talent and that couldn’t be further from the truth Brian. Killjoy wan’t #2 in April’s Elite 15 because we stacked the ballot, no, it’s because he’s been nothing but GREAT here in 2019 and it’s time we got the respect we deserve and how does one get that respect, you beat the piss out of someone this company holds in high regard, Scorpio. At Prime #051 Killjoy Ito backs up his MVP night at World Wide with another MVP performance against The People’s Camp.
Spade: Well that’s a loft idea…
Tommy laughs
Love: I get it, you think I’m talking crazy, you are just as bad as these sheep out there in their Rampage t-shirts, anything outside the main brands is garbage…
Spade: I’m not saying that…
Love: What’s next, going to call us ‘little guy’, talk about how you have a better version of Killjoy here on Rampage, toss out how much more money you make…
Tommy and Brian both pause and look into the camera and smile
Love: I invite all the fans out there watching right now to tune in next Sunday for Prime #051 and watch as two of the very best in the EWC, two champions walk into that ring and put on a Match of the Year quality match and leave the wrestling world talking about what they had just seen and when the smoke clears and the bell rings asking their friends ‘did you see Killjoy beat Scorpio?’ because Brian that’s exactly what’s going to happen. We are going to send a message loud and clear to ALL in the EWC, be it Brawl, Rampage, FSW and Prime itself that Killjoy Ito, ‘Prime’s Ace’, is going to end the year not only atop of the Elite 15 but atop of the EWC...you all know what is happening in September and I’m calling my shot right here and now, Killjoy Ito is going to win the Rumble in whatever city it is, he will go on to face the Undisputed Champion at WrestleFest against whoever is the champion at the time and he will be holding that championship up high in Pyongyang, North Korea and become Kim Jong-Un’s favorite wrestler and are only concern will be how to get out of North Korea and not be forced to stay and wrestle in front of the Supreme Leader as a National Treasure but for now, point me in the direction of ring because I have a match to watch and a wrestler to scout, it’s time to see Scorpio up close and personal…
Tommy smiles and walks away from Brian Spade and follows a Rampage staff member who is walking him to his seat

Shieldmaidens (Bandit, Bullet, Psycho and Zombie)
Vs Blue Phoenix & ReBelle
(Elimination Match)
(60 Minute Time Limit)
(Ref: Toyo Yashahiro)
Duggan: And now our semi main event, an elimination match!
Chriqui: The following match is an elimination match! Introducing first, the combined team of REBELLE and BLUE PHOENIX!
ReBelle and Blue Phoenix emerge from the back, they nod at each other and head down to the ring while the crowd goes crazy!
Duggan: The EWC World Tag Team Champions, teaming with the fairly new Blue Phoenix in this elimination match. Going to be good!.
Loydson: UGH.
Martinez: I am expecting a lot of this match.
Duggan: You and me both Omar, you and me both.
Chriqui: And their opponent… The Shieldmaidens!
Bullet, Bandit, Zombie and Psycho all emerge from the back to a large round of boos. The women scoff at the crowd and rush the ring! We’re off!
DING DING DING
This one starts off a million miles an hour as the Maidens attack ReBelle and Blue Phoenix! Toyo gets control of the match but no before the Maidens can absolutely run though their opponents. The Maidens kick ReBelle and Phoenix out of the ring, leaving Matsuda to themselves while they stomp down on her. Toyo cannot get regain control! Psycho drags Matsuda up and sends her into Bullet who feeds her a Dios Es Una Bala elbow! Bandit is up on the top rope as she leaps onto Matsuda with a Snowbird Splash! Zombie drags Matsuda up and Psycho lands Gealtachta, as Matsuda is crumbling to the ground Zombie catches her and pulls her up onto her shoulders before dropping her down onto her head with a Pilgrim Defender, Zombie has the cover and Toyo counts… ONE… TWO… THREE!!! Matsuda has been eliminated!
The crowd can’t believe it, but they don’t have much time to think as Zombie eats a dropkick to the back of the head from Georgie! Scorpio springboards in and catches Bullet with a dropkick of his own! Phoenix rushes in steamed, he ducks a punch from Bandit and lands a spinning backfist before driving her headfirst into the mat with a Light Of The Apocalypse! Psycho hits another Gealtachta, this one to Phoenix. Georgie spins Psycho around and Psycho launches in with a headbutt to the face! Georgie stumbles backwards and is rolled up by Zombie! ONE… TWO… THREE!!! Georgie has been eliminated!
The crowd is absolutely shocked. We now have a 4 on 2 advantage for The Shieldmaidans!
Duggan: I don’t think anyone foresaw this coming!.
Loydson: But I love it!.
Martinez: This is terrible! Oh my.
Duggan: Things are looking awfully down for the faces here.
Psycho smiles and heads towards Phoenix but Scorpio leaps in with an AGR! Toyo is blowing his whistle, everyone stops. He is ordering everyone but Scorpio and Zombie to leave the ring or else he’s calling a no-contest. Georgie and Matsuda decided to stay ringside in case any fuckery goes down and Toyo allows it. Zombie and Scorpio begin!
THey tie up center ring, but our champ is able to get the edge and take-a-back into a chicken wing before shoving Zombie forward and giving her a superkick to the back of her head. Zombie stumbles towards her corner where Psycho tags in. Psycho rushes Scorpio and lands a stiff European uppercut before quickly spinning back into a chop to his throat. Scorpio gasps for air and eats another throat chop. Toyo backs Zombie up but she shoves him away to give another throat chop before quickly spinning around into an elbow on Scorpio’s jaw! Scorpio falls to a knee but quickly explodes up into a hurricanrana! Scorpio is slow to his feet but gets up just as Psycho does! Scorpio leaps into a dropkick right to the knee before wrapping his arm around Psycho’s head and using his impressive core strength to yank her into a suplex! Scorpio rolls over for the cover but Psycho is out at two. Scorpio pulls her towards his corner and tags in Phoenix who quickly dives in with a top rope leg drop! Phoenix runs Psycho through the paces, landing dropkicks, suplexes and a very impressive Falcon Arrow. Psycho puts up a hell of a fight and comes back with her own offense of chops before attempting a Gealtachta but Phoenix ducks and lands a spinning backfist before locking on the headlock and diving Psycho headfirst with the Lights of the Apocalypse! ONE… TWO… THREE!!!… Psycho has been eliminated!
Bandit rushes in and catches Phoenix with a quick standing moonsault before quickly pulling him up for a loud chest chop followed by a standing shotgun dropkick that sends Phoenix back into a neutral corner. Bandit rushes in and hits a handspring before flipping up and elbowing Phoenix in the mouth with the Bust Card. Phoenix crumbles and Bandit quickly climbs the rope before leaping into a 450 splash… But Phoenix moved! Bandit crashed and burned while Phoenix used the ropes to stand. Bandit is getting to her feet and Phoenix grabs her head before ripping her down into Phoenix Down. Phoenix quickly crawls to his corner and tags in Scorpio who leaps into the ring with a flying cross-body with a cover! ONE…. TWO… THREE!!! Bandit has been eliminated!
Bullet is quick into the ring and slams into Scorpio with a punt kick that nearly rips his head off! Bullet mounts Scorpio and begins to pound down on him with thunderous elbow strikes, and pretty soon Scorpio is busted open! Toyo backs Bullet up to check Scorpio and lets Scorpio stand but the match is back on when Bullet rushes in and knee’s Scorpio as hard as she can! Scorpio stumbles back and Phoenix tags in before leaping into Bullet with a spinning backfist! Phoenix locks on a headlock and hits another Light of The Apocalypse. ONE… TWO… THREE!!! Bullet has been eliminated!
Zombie is quick into the ring as she pulls Phoenix up and lands a Zombie Flatliner almost instantly before standing Phoenix up and hitting the Zombie Suplex! Zombie pulls him up and before spinning him around and lifting him up into an electric chair, Zombie drops a leg and then drops Phoenix on his head in the center of the ring with a Pilgrim Defender. ONE… TWO… THREE!!! Phoenix has been eliminated.
Zombie stands to face Scorpio and AGR! AGR out of nowhere! Scorpio knows it won’t be enough as he drags Zombie up before slamming into her with a Glitterazi! Still not enough as he leaps into another AGR! AGR! Scorpio makes a deadweight cover… ONE… TWO… THREE!!! Zombie has been eliminated!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winners, ReBelle and Blue Phoenix!
Duggan: God damn, what a match.
Loydson: FUCK.
Martinez: They gave it their all tonight! Matsuda and Nickles were caught off guard but in the end Scorpio and Phoenix fought back into this one. .
Duggan: Zombie with perhaps the best performance of her young career tonight, big things to come from her!
The Shieldmaidens all exit the ring and look up at the winners, this match has clearly settled nothing as bad blood is still paramount! Scene fades too…
Ace King
Vs Cyrus Black
(Singles Match, Non-Title)
(60 Minutes Time Limit)
(Ref: Toyo Yashahiro)
(Winner Is Undisputed Championship #1 Contender)
Duggan: What a wild ride we have had tonight in Baku, the final leg of our hugely successful European tour is about to come to a close... but we’ve got one match left for you and boy is this a high caliber pay per view main event style clash! The United States Champion Ace King versus the International champion Cyrus Black... for the first time ever and the stakes could not be higher. The winner will challenge Dominic Sanders for the Undisputed championship at Scars and Stripes.
Loydson: I actually think that Victor Price should have fired these two insubordinate clown weeks ago!! They’ve been nothing but disrespectful to our acting President.
Martinez: You can’t fire two of the top stars in your company. Even Victor knows that would be bad for business. And I am buzzing for this one, these two have been on a collision course for weeks now, because they’ve both have a claim to being the number one contender... Ace has been the work hose of the EWC and he’s proven that he deserves another crack at the title, is there a more consistent professional wrestler around than him? I don’t think so.
Duggan: And Cyrus Black has came out of nowhere in the last three months since his return to absolutely smash through the competition. He’s already pinned the Undisputed twice now, that’s his claim right there. I can’t call this one but I’m ready... are you ready... let’s do this...
"THE ACE OF SPADES!!! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
The crowd hears Lemmy's growl, and they go nuts as the opening bass line to 'Ace of Spades' rips through the Baku Crystal Hall. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp in time with the beat, while frenetic red and gold spotlights pulse through the building before fixating on the ramp.
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for one fall... Making his way to the ring, FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 235 pounds... He is the United States Champion... THE GAMBLER...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG
There's a huge explosion as the guitar kicks in, and the crowd roars as the one and only Ace King rises from a platform through the smoke of the pyro and into the spotlights, soaking in the ovation with his championship draped over his shoulder. 'The Gambler' stays on a knee, taking the title down to look at it for a few seconds. He takes a deep breath and walks to the ring, calmly interacting with fans all the way down the ramp.
He stops for a couple seconds at the end of the ramp, then charges to the ring, with gold pyro exploding from the turnbuckles as he dives in under the bottom rope. He spins up onto one knee and stares out into the crowd before getting to his feet and hoisting his United States championship up for all to see. Once he hands the belt to the referee, he gets his game face on and waits in the corner for his opponent.
Duggan: The undisputed championship is the one thing that has escaped Ace Kings grasp, it’s the one black spot on his record, so you can bet he will pull out all the stops tonight to make sure he’s the one going on to challenge for that champipnship.
Loydson: Ace King has had his shot at the championship. He couldn’t beat Ashton Drake, he couldn’t win the King of the mountain or the insanity cage match, he should be banned from ever getting a shot at the big one again! But no matter, Dominic Sanders will run over him at scars and stripes if he makes it that far.
Martinez: Come on Loydson! Arguably nobody deserves a shot at the title more than Ace! Over six hundred days as the United States Champion, that’s incredible, so don’t you dare sit there and try and make out like Ace isn’t worthy of a shot at the biggest prize in our game!
Duggan: Things are getting heated already and the match hasn’t even begun! And here comes the International champion Cyrus Black, a guy who’s been on fire recently. Ace King knows all to well that you cannot take Black lightly, because he will end you in a heartbeat with one of his signature submissions.
Chrqui: His opponent, from Carson City, Nevada... weighing in at 230 pounds... he is International champion.... CYYYYYYYRRRRRRUUUSSSS BLACKKK!!!
The whole arena goes dark for a moment, a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and music plays from the PA system.
"Life is a mystery..."
The silhouette of a man moves into the spotlight, arms raised above his head as he starts to clap.
"And it feels like home..."
The lights go up around the arena, two red pyrotechnics go off at either side of the stage as the chorus hits. Cyrus raises his arms in the air and crowd go wild as he points at the specially made kilt he’s wearing that has patches of flags from all the counties the Kiltbros have visited on the European tour.
"When you call my name
it's like a little prayer..."
Cyrus starts clapping as he merrily skips from one side of the entrance ramp to the other, looking out at the sea of fans, goading them to clap along with him. Cyrus makes his way down the entrance ramp with the International championship around his waist, he engages with fans along the way, dishing out high fives and hugs as he jives his way to the ring.
"I'm down on my knees
I want to take you there..."
Sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring, Cyrus shuffles from one corner buckle to another, continuously banging the palms of his hands together as the fans are on there feet clapping with him.
"Just like a prayer you know,
I'll take you there...".
Cyrus casually leans against the ropes, with a cheesy grin on his face.
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings Cyrus tries the cautious approach, moving around the ring slowly, but Ace isn’t having any of that, as he goes straight on the offense, kicking Cyrus in the gut then whipping him hard off the ropes. As Cyrus comes back towards him at pace, Ace catapults Cyrus high in the air, and as he comes back down Ace hits him with a European uppercut. Cyrus hits the mat hard, but immediately tries to get back to his feet, holding his jaw and looking daze, Ace wastes no time as he grabs Cyrus and lifts him up, quickly hitting a blue thunder powerbomb on him.
Instead of making the pin, Ace turns Cyrus over, grabbing onto his legs and locking in a hammerlock cloverleaf submission. Ace bends Cyrus’s body back as far as can, to the point where Cyrus’s body is almost vertical with his head being squashed into the mat. Ace grits his teeth and it’s clear he has no intention of breaking the submission anytime soon.
Duggan: My god, I have never seen Ace King this ruthless! He has been all over Cyrus since the bell rang.
Loydson: I have to admit I kind of like it.
Martinez: Ace King will do anything to get that Undisputed title shot, and if he needs to reach deep into his soul and pull out his darker side then that’s what he’ll do.
With the submission still firmly locked in, Cyrus looks like he’s struggling to breath as the ref checks on him, seeing if he wants to quit. Ace is sweating buckets as he tries to pull Cyrus’s body back even further, adding more pressure, but he pulls back to much and Cyrus manages to roll backwards. As Ace stumbles, letting go of the hold Cyrus rolls out of the ring. Leaning against the fan barricade, catching his breath, Cyrus looks up just in time to see Ace is already back on his feet as he hits a suicide dive through the middle ropes straight on top of Cyrus.
Ace picks Cyrus up, hooking his arms around his waist, he charges straight into the ring post, as the steel collides with Cyrus’s back. Ace, still with his arms around Cyrus waist, hooks him and throws him over his shoulder with a release belly to belly suplex, Cyrus’s body crashes against the barricade once more. Ace rolls into the ring and back out again, breaking the refs count. Cyrus drags himself to his feet, leaning against the barricade as Ace eyeballs him for a brief moment before he pounces off of the ring apron and again charges towards Cyrus. Ace lunges at Cyrus full force, tackling him as they both crash through the fan barricade and into the crowd.
Martinez: Dear lord Ace has sent Cyrus and himself crashing through the barricade and into the crowd!
A section of the fans in the front row scrambled out of there seats as Ace and Cyrus broke through the barricade. The arena security now struggling to hold back the fans as they surround Ace and Cyrus who are laying in a heap. The ref is up to a six count now as Ace starts to stir, slowly getting onto his knees and then his feet. Cyrus then follows suit as he crawls towards the ring. Ace makes it into the ring at the eight count as he back away to the corner to catch his breath. Cyrus pulls himself into the ring at the nine count.
With Cyrus on his knees, Ace comes at him again, connecting with some sharp kicks to the chest. Ace takes a step back and lines up another kick to Cyrus’s mid-rift, this time Cyrus catches his foot as he swings it. Then Cyrus rolls to the side and in one swift motion he quickly twists and bends Aces right foot into an unnatural position. Ace stumbles back in pain, as he follows to the floor and holds his foot. As Cyrus takes a breather, the ref checks on Ace who is still holding his right foot.
Duggan: Ouch! The way Cyrus bent Aces foot to the side like that, it looked nasty! I hope Ace is ok to continue.
After assure the ref that he’s fine Ace pulls him to his feet and makes his way towards Cyrus who is still trying to recover from the earlier assault by Ace. Ace grabs a hold of Cyrus, hooking him up for a suplex, but as he lifts him Aces right foot buckles under the weight and Cyrus falls over Ace, landing on his feet. Cyrus runs off the ropes and dives down, hitting the back of Aces right knee with his forearm. As Ace falls onto one knee, Cyrus gets to his feet, he knees Ace twice in the side of the head, then he picks Ace up, lifting him high in the air and hitting a scoop brainbuster. Cyrus makes the pin...

THR....Ace gets a shoulder up! Cyrus then quickly locks an Anaconda chokehold on Ace!
Martinez: The tables have turned and now Cyrus is in control! Ace kicked out of the lucky star but Cyrus has got him in a chokehold now and we now how deadly the International champion is in these situations!
Cyrus looks to be choking the life out of Ace, as the ref watches closely. The fans are on there feet, trying to get a glimpse into the ring to see if Ace is fading away. Some of the fans look concerned for Ace, and other look like there loving the carnage that’s unfolding before there very eyes. As the camera zooms in on Aces face his eyes seem to be closing, and it looks like game over.... when all of a sudden the ref grabs Cyrus and forces him to break the hold. Cyrus let’s go, for a split second thinking that Ace is out cold and he’s won the match, then he sees why the ref broke the hold, Ace somehow managed to stretch his right leg and get his foot on the rope.
Cyrus shakes his head and runs his hands through his hair which is soaked with sweat. As Ace lays out on the mat, Cyrus gets to his feet and leaps over Aces body, bringing his foot down as he stomps on Aces right ankle which is still balanced on the bottom rope! Ace suddenly comes to life as the pain hits him, he lets out a sharp cry. Some of the crowd seem to be booing that move from Cyrus.
Loydson: The crowd here in Baku don’t seem to happy with Cyrus stomping on Aces ankle there but i actually admire that kind of aggression! You gotta do what you gotta do to get the win. This isn’t a popularity contest.
Duggan: I can’t believe I’m saying this but I agree with you Loydson, when the stakes are this high you have to do whatever you can to get there victory and I think if roles were reversed then Ace would do the same to Cyrus. Cyrus targeting the right foot of Ace is clever.
Cyrus climbs up to the top rope as Ace looks like he’s still stunned on the mat. Cyrus looks out around the crowd, half are cheering and the other half don’t seem to pleased with him as he smiles and shrugs his shoulders. Cyrus then jumps off of the top rope towards Ace, but as he does this Ace manages to push himself to his feet, and he jumps in the air, catching Cyrus with one of his moves High Roller in mid-air!
Cyrus looks to be out cold in the middle of the ring as Ace holds his right foot which seems to be still causing him problems. Ace drags himself over to Cyrus, eventually throwing an arm over his chest for a pin as the ref counts....

THRE.... Cyrus gets a shoulder up just in the nick of time!!
Martinez: I thought Ace had it there with that High Roller in mid air but Cyrus digs deep to kick out! Neither of these men are going to give this one up easily! We are way past the half hour mark now, this one could go all the way!
Ace picks Cyrus up and starts striking him hard with a fury of chops and kicks to the body, but he stumbles again after hitting a hard kick with her right foot. Cyrus takes advantage, hitting a hard forearm smash to the jaw of Ace. Cyrus then spins around Ace, locking his arms around Aces waist he throws him backwards with a German suplex. Cyrus picks Ace up, again looking for a German suplex, but Ace manages to catch Cyrus with a back elbow to the face, he then spins around and hits Cyrus with a Japanese Ocean Cyclone suplex. Ace hobbles over to Cyrus just when it looks like he’s about to pin him, he locks in a Fujiwara armbar but Cyrus senseing the danger quickly rolls over Ace and head butts the back of Aces head. Cyrus then slides down Aces legs and locks in an ankle lock on Aces hurt foot!
Ace pulls on his hair as the pain is obvious but he won’t give up. Ace uses his arms to push himself up on one foot, he then spin around and jumps catching Cyrus in the face with a sweet enziguri. Cyrus lets go of Aces ankle and falls back against the ropes, but he then springs back at Ace and hits a super kick stunning him. Both men collapse to the floor, laying next to each other looking totally shattered. The crowd are on there feet cheering and giving both men a round of applause. The crowd start a chant that blows the roof off of the arena.
”Fight forever.... fight forever... fight forever....
Ace and Cyrus both get to there knees and start trading stiff elbow shots and forearm smashes to the face. Both men grab a hold of each other’s head and start pounding each other hard, to the point where Cyrus has a bloody nose and Aces eye is bruised. Both men pull each other to there feet as they continue to trade stiff punches and kicks.
Cyrus stamps on Aces hurt right foot causing him to fall back. Cyrus kicks Ace in the head, as he falls on his knees. Cyrus runs behind Ace, and goes for the blackout but Just as Cyrus is about to connect Ace falls backwards onto the floor and Cyrus misses the kick. Ace then scrambles to his feet and grabs Cyrus, lifting him and surprising him with one of his finishers Pocket Aces!! Ace falls on top of Cyrus as the ref makes the count....

THREE!!!!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall.... ACE KINNNGGGG!!!
Duggan: Ace did it!!! He has earned his shot at Dominic Sanders and the undisputed championship!
Loydson: I guess one of these guys had to win, and I’m glad it’s the one who isn’t wearing a skirt.
Martinez: Cyrus Black And Ace King tore house down tonight. I wish both men could challenge Dominic for the championship but Ace was the better man tonight, and now we have our main event for Scars and Stripes!!!
Duggan: That was a main event of the year candidate! Thank you everyone for tuning in tonight, Baku you have been amazing and we will be back. Soon you next time folks!
As the scene fades the camera pans on Ace who’s hobbling in the ring as the ref raises his hand in victory, the relief on his face is evident as the fans chant his name.
The lights in the arena suddenly dim, all expect for the entrance way. Sitting on the top of the ramp, back to the ring, is a pink haired girl. Eminem's “Without Me” begins to play.
Loydson: Who in the hell?
Duggan & Martinez: Gabi Vee!
Loydson: Oh God... Who let her in the building?!
The lights come back up as Gabi spins around on her butt to face the ring, grinning out to the crowd as they cheer and start chanting her name.
Crowd GAB-E-VEE! GAB-E-VEE! GAB-E-VEE!
The music fades and she pulls a mic out of her lap, taps it to make sure it is on, and then stands up to slowly gaze out over the crowd with an energetic smile. Gabi lifts the mic to her mouth as she begins to speak.
Gabi: Thanks for the love... But calm down, you all are so fiesty!
The crowd cheers as Gabi chuckles.
Gabi: But! One second... I gotta question for you all... Guess who's been cleared to return?
The crowd pops loudly.
Gabi: Yep, you guessed right – Me!
The crowd cheers wildly as Gabi attention shifts from the them to Cyrus down in the ring. She winks at Cyrus as she starts to address him.
Gabi: Hello Sunshine, I am here to take you up on that offer for a shot at the belt.
Martinez: Now?
Loydson: Get her off the stage... She had her chance and blew it.
Cyrus smiles up at Gabi, shakes his head as he walks over to the ropes and leans on them. The crowd cheer as Cyrus simply nods his head and grins back at her.
Loydson: Why would he give her a shot? She couldn't beat Iggy, what right does she have to challenge him?
Martinez: Do you think it is wise for Gabi to challenge Cyrus after having been out of action for a month and a half?
Duggan: Not sure... But it promises to be a entertaining match, one I am sure no EWC fan will want to miss.
Gabi nods back to Cyrus before turning to address the crowd.
Gabi: You all heard that, right?
The fans cheer loudly as Gabi starts laughing before she looks back to Cyrus. She offers him a sassy smile and a wink as Eminem's “Without Me” resumes playing. Gabi drops the mic on the ramp and waves to the crowd as she turns and walks into the back.
Martinez: You heard it fans, Cyrus appears to have accepted Gabi Vee's challenge for the International Title.
Duggan: The big question will be when will this match take place? Maybe at Scars and Stripes '19?
Loydson: Please... You all act like it is Dominic Sanders out here challenging Cyrus - it's freakin' Gabi Vee, for Christ sake's. Putting this match on a PPV would be completely pointless.
Martinez: We will have to see how the new Brawl GM handles this one. Now that Ace King is #1 contender to the Undisputed Championship Gabi V Cyrus could be a thing!
Duggan: For sure! But that's all the time we have tonight folks. We will see you all soon!
