Match #1
ANDERSON Vs DEVEREUAX
(20 Minute Singles Bout)
(Ref: Mike Michaelson)
Duggan: Let’s kick things off tonight with two competitors who really could do with a win tonight. Tanja Devereaux and Allen Anderson both lost last time out on rampage so a win here for either one would go a long way to them climbing that ladder towards a title shot.
Loydson: Let’s not forget that Allen Anderson did win at Youngblood so he’s got a bit of momentum coming into this match! Tanja on the other hand lost in her own backyard, that’s got to be playing on the bayou witch’s mind.
Martinez: This is true, but Tanja has more experience than Allen when it comes to wrestling in an EWC ring. Do not count her out!
Duggan: I know one thing for sure, they are both hungry for success and will throw everything at each other to achieve a victory! Let’s get this show on the road.
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for one fall Introducing first, from Harlem, New York, weighing in at 205 pounds... He is THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND: ALLEN ANDERSON!
”0-100” by Drake begins to play while Allen comes out and heads down to the ring, being accompanied by Sandra Verma.
Chrqui: His opponent, from New Orleans... Louisiana, weighing in at 115 pounds... THE CAJUN QUEEN... TANJA DEVEREAUX!!!
Pyros hit as Videos of bustling crowds in various locations of New Orleans appear on the tron as "Daughters of Darkness" by Halestorm blasts on the P.A. system, Tanja Devereaux makes her way out to the rings
DING DING DING
Devereaux and Anderson lock up, with Anderson getting the better of the opening exchange as he locks Devereaux in a headlock then takes a run and drops her onto the mat with a bulldog. Anderson then tries to lock in a Hammerlock Cloverleaf but Devereaux is close to the ropes and she manages to grab the bottom ring rope to pull herself away from Anderson and out onto the ring apron. Devereaux stands up on the ring apron, and as Anderson comes at her she throws a leg up high, using the ring ropes for leverage and kicks him in the face. Anderson stumbles back but then comes charging at Devereaux again, this time she is half way in the ring and leaning on the middle ropes as Anderson comes at her she spring towards him grabbing a hold of his head. Devereaux spins around and plants Anderson onto the mat with a tornado DDT. Devereaux makes a pin attempt but Anderson kicks out at two.
Devereaux hoists Anderson up to his feet and whips him off of the ropes. As Anderson bounces off of the ropes and back at Devereaux, he hits a rolling lariat on her. Devereaux falls to the mat and as she tries to get back on her feet Anderson runs to the ropes again, this time using them to springboard back towards Devereaux and land on her with a Double Springboard Crossbody. Anderson wastes no time as he picks Devereaux up with ease and hits her with the Neutralizer. Anderson goes for the pin but Devereaux kicks out at two and a half.
Duggan: Like I predicted! A fast paced start and both of these talented individuals giving it everything they’ve got in pursuit of glory!
Loydson: Tanja Devereaux just kicked out there. Anderson may not have the experience that Tanja does but his strength may be a deciding factor in him winning this one.
Martinez: You could be right, but he can’t get frustrated if he doesn’t get the pinfall at the first attempt! It’s going to take more than one Neutralizer to take Tanja out!
Anderson gets to his feet and backs away to the corner, signaling with his arm for Devereaux to get up. Anderson bides his time and as Devereaux finally gets to her feet he springs toward looking for his version of the super kick he calls Game Winner, but Devereaux rolls out of the way at the last second. As Anderson’s turns to face Devereaux she springs up and catches him with a roundhouse kick. As Anderson crumpled to the floor Devereaux locks in an inverted cloverleaf submission on him.
Devereaux does her best to keep the cloverleaf locked in but Anderson’s lanky frame allows him to turn around and using his legs he pulls Devereaux down onto the mat, and he ends up on top of her. Anderson hits Devereaux with a few shots to the body and face as she holds her arms up and tries to defend herself. Devereaux uses her size to wriggle and crawl underneath Anderson, and as he tries to stand to his feet Devereaux grabs a hold of his leg and pulls him down to the mat as she tries to lock in her submission finisher Bayou St. John but Anderson senses the dangerous and a swings a foot back wildly which catches Devereaux in the jaw and stuns her. Anderson gets to his feet and he pulls Devereaux up with him, grabbing her in a headlock he picks her up and drives her head into the mat with an Inverted Implanted DDT.
Loydson: Ouch that DDT looked painful! It could be all over for Tanja Devereaux.
Anderson doesn’t go for the pin, instead makes his way to the ropes and climbs out to the ring apron. Grabbing onto the ring ropes, he composes himself because jumping onto the top rope as he goes for a springboard 450 splash but Devereaux rolls out of the way just in the nick of time and Anderson hits the mat hard. Devereaux hoists Anderson up and hits a reverse STO on him, she then makes a pin attempt but Anderson kicks out.
Devereaux tries to pick Anderson up to his feet and as she does he hits a uppercut on her, as she stumbles back he then catches her with his spinning elbow moves he calls the Guillotine. Devereaux collapses to the mat and after taking a moment to catch his breath, Anderson climbs the corner to the top turnbuckle once more. Standing on the top, he leaps off and goes for his spiral tap finisher but this time Devereaux gets her knees up and Anderson lands back first straight on them. Anderson holds his back in pain as Devereaux rolls toward him, reaches up and pulls him over for a roll up pin, catching him by surprise. The ref makes the count and Devereaux gets the three for the win but immediately Anderson pulls on his tights as he shouts at the referee, claiming that Devereaux had a hold of the tights when she made the pin.
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall in 16 minutes ... TANJA DEVEREAUX!!!
Duggan: A huge win for Tanja Devereaux here tonight! She needed this victory that’s for sure. Allen Anderson proved to be more than a worthy opponent.
Loydson: Wait a minute, are we going to ignore the elephant in the room? Didn’t Tanja have a hold of Anderson’s tights there as she rolled him up for the pin? That’s what Anderson seems to be claiming!
Martinez: Well I didn’t see it and I think judging from the referees position when he made the count he couldn’t see it either! I’m not sure that she did. Either way I’d love to see these two do battle again sometime in the near future.
Duggan: I’m sure you’re not the only one. Now we will be back after this short break with some fatal four way action!
EARLIER TODAY
The camera cuts to the parking lot. Cyrus Black is coming out of his 1967 Chevy Impala wearing causal jeans, boots and a “Queen of EWC Melody Malone” T-shirt on. Brian Spade approaches him. Cyrus greets the interviewer with a smile and a handshake.
Black: Brian, how you doin man?
Spade: I’m good thanks, can we get a few words with you?
Black: Sure, what do you wanna chat about my friend? No... let me guess! You wanna congratulate me on my heroic win over Iggy and Gabi at Youngblood? Or no way wait... you wanna talk about how the one true queen of the EWC finally put that cheap delusional Ronald McDonald looking freak Scorpio straight through a flaming table! That was a personal highlight of the night for me...
Spade: I actually wanted to get your thoughts on next months four day extravaganza Wrestlefest XVII in France.
Black pauses and his smile slowly fades.
Black: My thoughts? I mean... it’s going to be a historic moment not just for the EWC but for the wrestling business as a whole. It’s never been done before.
Spade: And.. the main event? Yourself and Melody Malone, one on one for your undisputed championship.
Black: That’s correct, I don’t know what else to say. That’s the match, it is what it is. Two of the hardest working people in the EWC putting on a wrestling clinic and a match of the year contender for everyone.
Spade: Given your relationship with Melody....
Black raises an eyebrow towards Spade as if to warn him not to go there, but he goes there anyway.
Spade: ...this has to be personal for you. How do you go about preparing for a battle against someone you’ve got an intimate relationship with?
Black scratches his chin, looking more and more irritated with every word that comes out of Spades mouth.
Black: Our personal relationship doesn’t come into the equation. Myself and Melody are professionals. As I already said we will put on a show that will be talked about for years to come. We both love this business and we were born to be in that ring. It’ll be a moment to remember. Now if you don’t mind the shows started, I have to get to my seat.
Black is about to walk off when Spade puts his hand on Blacks arm to stop him.
Spade: Sorry Cyrus, just one more question... what if Melody beats you, what happens to you two th...
Before Spade can finish his sentence Black spins around and pushes him backwards, pinning him against the wall forcefully. Black is breathing out of his nostrils and his face is scarlet.
Black: Don’t fuckin’ put your hands on me again.
After a moment Black releases his grip on Spade and takes a deep breath.
Black: Sorry.. I just.. yeh sorry.
Black pats Spade on the shoulder then turns and disappears through a set of double doors that lead into the center lobby, leaving Spade standing gobsmacked and visibly shaken up. The camera cuts back to ringside.
Match #2
BUGLE Vs JACKSON Vs MANSON Vs STORMY
(20 Minute Fatal Four Way Bout)
(Ref: Pierce Patterson)
Duggan: Next up we’ve got an intriguing fatal four way matchup between four of the newest additions to the EWC roster! Who can break out from the pack? Don’t underestimate how important a win here is even if it is early on in your EWC career!
Loydson: Well for Stormy Taggert, William Manson, David Bugle and Voshon Jackson it’s a matter of showing the EWC management what you’re made of! I can’t wait to see what these four bring to the table tonight.
Martinez: Let’s not forget that this a fatal four way which means it’s no disqualifications! That changes things entirely. This isn’t just a straight up wrestling match we’re about to witness, this is a war.
Duggan: It is indeed. Survival of the fittest! And here comes our first competitor.
Chriqui: The following fatal fou way match is scheduled for one Introducing first, residing from Atlanta.. Georgia, weighing in at 238 pounds... the true believer... DAVID BUGLEEEE!!!
”Spider-Man” by The Ramones plays over the PA system and David Bugle makes his way out to the ring.
Chrqui: and His opponent, residing in Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 245 pounds... VOSHON JACKSONNNNNN!!!
’Therapy Session' by NF plays as Voshon Jackson makes his way out to the ring.
Chrqui: and their opponent, from London.. England... weighing in at 238 pounds... WILLIAM MANSONNNNN!!!!
Pyros hit and Monster by Skillet begins to play as William Manson makes his way out to the ring.
Chrqui: and their opponent, residing in Las Vegas, Nevada ... weighing in at 155 pounds... STORMY ‘THE BRIDE’ TAGGERTTTTT!!!
Black Wedding’ by In This Moment begins to play as Stormy Taggert makes her way out to the ring.
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings Jackson, Manson and Bugle quickly approach each other while Stormy hangs back at the corner turnbuckle. Jackson catches Bugle with a stiff forearm smash to the side of the head that causes him to stumble back. Jackson then lays a forearm smash to the jaw of Manson but Manson just clicks his jaw and smiles back at Jackson before unleashing a fury of punches to his head and body. Jackson pushes Manson away from him and then turns and runs off of the ropes. As he comes back at Manson, Jackson goes for a big boot but Bugle comes flying from the side and catches Jackson with a European uppercut with takes him off of his feet.
Stormy in the meantime has slid out of the ring unbeknownst to her opponents. Back in the ring, Manson throws Bugle across the ring with a belly to belly suplex. As Bugle tries to get to his feet Manson spins around him and hits his German suplex move he calls him execution. Manson goes for a pin on Bugle and at the two count Jackson jumps across the ring and breaks up the pin. Jackson and Manson both try and get to there feet at the same, and they start to brawl with one another. Neither men sees Stormy slide back into the ring with a steel chair in her hand, and she cracks Jackson across the back with the chair and then thrusts the chair into Manson’s stomach. Stormy raises the chair and starts to wildly smash it off of Bugles back, she then does the same to Manson and to Jackson until all three men are laying flat out on the mat. Stormy raises her arms in the air with a crazy look in her eyes as she looks out around the crowd.
Duggan: Oh man, Stormy Taggert may be the smallest person in this match by a landslide but she’s just laid out all three of her opponents with a steel chair!
Loydson: That’s what you gotta to win a match like this! Be ruthless and use the environment around you to your advantage.
Martinez: I did say that the no disqualification rule changes the whole outlook of a battle like this!
Duggan: Well right now Stormy Taggert is standing head and shoulders above the rest thanks to that steel chair in her hands. Where is she going now?
Stormy exits the ring again, going under the ring apron she pulls out a wooden table and slides it into the ring much to the delight of the crowd but she isn’t done yet. Stormy pulls a second table out and slides it into the ring before getting back in herself. Bugle is on his feet as Stormy raises the chair to hit him he pulls of a high standing dropkick, smashing the chair straight into Stormys face causing her to drop it. Jackson is back on his feet now also, he grabs a hold of Stormy, lifting her high in the air and dropping her straight onto the steel chair with a brainbuster. Stormy is out cold as Jackson makes a pin attempt, and at the two and half count Manson runs over and kicks Jackson in the back of the head breaking up the count.
Manson then grabs the two tables and sets them up right next to each other at one of the corners. As he turns around, Bugle is right on him, he whips Manson into corner and on the return he hits Manson with his version of the super kick he calls With Great Power! Bugle goes for a pin and almost gets the three count but Jackson breaks the count at the very last second! Jackson picks Bugle up, lifting him in the air he hits his pump-handle power bomb that he calls Devil's Nightmare! Jackson goes for the pin but the ref breaks the count at two and a half as Bugle has his foot on the bottom rope.
Martinez: This has been non stop action from the get go! I’m loving it, although someone better check on Stormy. Voshon Jackson damn near broke her neck on that steel chair!
Loydson: Forget about that, I’m more interested in what William Manson plans to do with those two tables! He’s set them up right next to the corner! That’s not going to end well.
Duggan: It definitely is not, but it could have been all over minutes ago when David Bugle hit a sweet super kick on Manson but Jackson saved the day by breaking up the pinfall! I have no idea who’s going to walk away with the victory here.
Jackson lifts Stormy for a powerbomb but he doesn’t see that as he lifted her up she had a grip on that steel chair again and as he raises her up on his shoulders she brings the chair down on his skull! Jackson is dazed and confused as he wobbles back and forth with Stormy still on his shoulders, he falls towards the tables. Stormy sees this and leaps off of Jackson and she lands straight on the tables feet first but they don’t break under her weight! Stormy sees Manson coming for her and she leaps off of the tables and catches him with a flying clothesline. Stormy then gets to her feet and charges at Bugle who’s on his feet also, leaping straight onto him as the two fall to the floor she starts pounding him with mounted punches. Manson is up again and comes at Stormy, grabbing a hold of her hair with a vicious look on his face he lifts her off of her feet. Stormy reaches a hand back and rakes her fingernails down Mansons face as he lets her go and holds his face in pain. Stormy jumps onto Manson and starts biting into his face with her Ravenous move! Manson violently throws Stormy off of him as his face starts to bleed he comes back at Stormy with rage but she suddenly blows him a kiss and a ball of fire comes out of her mouth in a move she calls Kiss The Bride, catching Manson in the face as he falls to floor and rolls out of the ring. The crowd are in amazement and shock as to how she managed to achieve that.
Stormy suddenly turns straight into Jackson as he hits his Fatally Reborn move from out of nowhere. Jackson puts a foot on Stormys chest for the pin as he orders the ref to make the count. Before Jackson can get the three count Bugle comes rushing at him and hits his finisher Hero’s Remorse! Before Bugle can make a pin Manson comes back into the ring and hits a clothesline on Bugle. Manson looks pissed off as he grabs Stormy and pulls her up to the top turnbuckle next to the two tables. Stormy tries to wriggle free and fight back as herself and Manson wobble on the top turnbuckle. Bugle is back up and he climbs up the same turnbuckle as Stormy and Manson. All three are now fighting to throw each other off of the turnbuckle and through the tables. Jackson then enters the picture, he climbs onto the middle turnbuckle, grabbing a hold of Manson as Manson grabs a hold of Bugle and Stormy. Jackson uses his strength to pull them all off of the turnbuckle and all four of them go crashing through the two tables!!! The crowd are on there feet applauding the efforts of all four individuals. Stormy and Bugle are the first up, Stormy pulls Bugle up onto her shoulders and drops him into her knee. Stormy makes a dead-weight cover, unable to finish her finishing sequence, but the damage is done. The ref counts.

DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall-, in 19 minutes... STORMY!
Duggan: Hell of a battle we just witnessed.
Loydson: I actually agree, and a cutie won.
Martinez: Oh Phil.
Duggan: Well, congrats to Stormy on winning her FN'R debut! We will be right back after this.
The camera cuts backstage where we find our FN’R GM, AC Delaney.
AC: Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you are all enjoying tonight's FN’R so far, and we have much more to come. But for now, we have to look to the past a few days. You see, Wednesday, October 30th was a very important day for the EWC. Our United States Champion Ace King on that day made it to 730 days as EWC United States Champion! That’s two years! 10 successful defenses to his name. Ace is a sure fire future Hall Of Famer and I couldn’t be more proud to have him on my brand. Here’s to you Ace, we love ya!
There is some confetti on screen as the screen shifts to
The feed goes back to commentary.
Duggan: Ace, I’ve had the pleasure of having a few matches with you and you’re one tough son of a bitch man. Congratulations.
Martinez: And we truly mean that.
Loydson: Well, they do.
Match #3
BULLET Vs SCORPIO Vs THE MILLENNIAL ONE
(25 Minute Triple Threat Bout)
(Ref: Pierce Patterson)
Duggan: Our next match of the evening, a triple threat match!
Loydson: Triple threat?
Duggan: JTC turned in his paper’s earlier this week and has officially retired from the sport.
Martinez: He will be missed, but this match should still be a banger!
Duggan: Absolutely!
Chriqui: The following triple threat match is scheduled for one fall with a 25 minute time limit... Introducing first, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 210 pounds... “THE MILLENNIAL ONE” PRESTON DRAKE!
Everyone directs their attention to the stage. The beginning guitar riffs of "It's Too Late" plays. Fog forming in the center of the stage as some fans cheer for the man about to come out, some boo. The smoke gets heavier, until suddenly the pounding guitars kick. Preston Drake emerges from the smoke pointing to the crowd and mouthing things. He walks to both sides of the stage, pointing and such, until returning to the center and jogging down the ramp as the lyrics are playing. He is wearing a custom made Millennial Hoodie clapping his hands as he points from a distance at someone in the crowd holding up a sign that says “You're My Leader”. He gets into the face of another fan in his mid-thirties and out of shape who shouted obscenities towards him. He doesn't pay much attention as his Wife Rian Drake then comes into view by his side. They briefly kiss as he takes off his Hoodie for her to hold.He then slides into the ring and stays on one-knee. He stares at the canvas of the ring. In sync with the chorus kicking in, he raises both his arms up, still staring at the canvas. His mind in sort of a trance eyes widened with bewilderment searching the canvas in search of something lost. As he awaits his opponent/match to begin.
Duggan: Preston Drake won big last week on FN’R in his debut, and this week he looks to continue his momentum.
Loydson: This scruffy hipster is a wrestler?
Martinez: A good one at that Phil.
Duggan: Damn good one.
Chriqui: His opponent, from NOLA, weighing in at 135 pounds... ALEX “BULLET” CARBAJAL!
The lights dim and the Shieldmaidens motto “Hell is empty and the Maidens are here!” comes over the Tron as guitar stabs ring out. Concrete Blonde’s “God Is A Bullet” starts up in earnest and Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton, Jackie “Bandit” Layton, “Psycho” Saoirse Maguire, Aoife “Banshee” Maguire and Katrina "Knox" Knox walk out seemingly leading the way for their sixth sister. Alex “Bullet” Carbajal makes her way out in a full length boxing robe, ready for war. The Shieldmaidens make their way to the ring and Bullet steps in, starting to shadowbox the second she steps in. She raises her hands into the air and then nods, ready to go.
Duggan: Bullet hasn’t picked up many wins here on FN’R since her return but she continues to fight her ass off every match, and I’ve gotta say.. She is getting better and better.
Loydson: I can assure you Duggan, that ass is perfect fine!
Martinez: Anyway, I have to agree with Duggan. This could very easily be her night to show the world what she’s got.
Chriqui: And their opponent from London, England, weighing in at 205 pounds, THE S-FACTOR SCORPIO!
'Iconic' - Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip, the other raised above his head, cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the ring. Scorpio climbs up one set of steps as Crème climbs the other, parting the ropes to allow 'The People's Camp' in. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face.
DING DING DING
This match starts off a million miles an hour as Scorpio lunges towards Bullet while leaping up and twisting her with a hurricanrana! Bullet flies over the top rope and lands hard onto the ground. Preston Drake drags Scorpio up and quickly begins to kick him in the midsection before hitting a push kick that shoves him backwards into the corner. Scorpio explodes out into a dropkick that takes Preston off his feet. Preston gets back up and locks up with Scorpio in a shoulder/collar tie-up. Preston stomps Scorpios midsection before pulling him closer to drop several stiff elbows on the back of his head. Scorpio drops to his knees holding his head. Preston turns around and walks right into a superkick from Bullet that flips him inside out and lands him on his head!
Duggan: Bullet coming out of nowhere on that one!
Loydson: Come on Bullet!
Martinez: This one is very close!
Scorpio gets back to his feet but eats a boot to the midsection from Bullet, who then pulls him up but the jaw before slamming home a punch right between his eyes. Scorpio stumbles backwards into the corner, holding his head in agony. Bullet goes to follow but gets spun around by Drake and then fed a palm strike to the throat! She drops to her knees and begins to choke while Drake sends another palm strike into the back of her head. Scorpio explodes out of the corner and leaps over Bullet, snagging Preston Drake’s head and ripping him down into an AGR! Scorpio makes the cover but Bullet breaks it up! Bullet drags Scorpio up, holding his arms in front of him while she takes the back, she rip-cords Scorpio before slamming her elbow into his jaw! He falls backwards, tripping over Drake and hitting the canvas hard. Sam drags Preston up and attempts to throw him out of the ring, but Drake rebounds and floors her with a jumping double knee strike. Drake stumbles on his feet and gets too close to Scorpio who rolls him up.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall, in 10 minutes... SCORPIO!
Duggan: Scorpio wins again, he was the victim of circumstance and played his cards well to roll up Preston.
Loydson: Someone check on Bullet!
Martinez: This new Scorpio is a dangerous one. All ahead to WrestleFest.
Duggan: Certainly, when we return we have tag action!
The feed cuts backstage, and the crowd cheers as United States Champion Ace King, appearing somewhat uncomfortable, receives more congratulations and plaudits from some of the backstage crew members. He socializes with a few of them, but he straightens up once sees Brian Spade, microphone in hand.
Spade: Ace, do you have a moment?
Ace: Sure, why not?
‘The Gambler’ steps forward to Spade, the United States Championship resting comfortably on his shoulder.
Spade: Well, as we saw earlier, there was a celebration to mark the two-year anniversary of your reign as the United States Champion here in EWC, so let me ask: Have you had time to really sit back and reflect on that time yet?
Ace buries his tongue in his cheek as he thinks of an answer, then exhales heavily.
Ace: Truthfully? Not really, because it’s not over yet. Tonight was really nice, and I didn’t expect anything like that, but the reality is I know I still have people breathing down my neck, beginning tonight with Steph, so I’m not going to slow down or think about-
The United States Champion’s voice trails off, and he turns with a look on his face mixed between amused and bewildered as the camera pans out to show Xavier Reid standing behind him, flanked by Nikki Dupree and Tlatoani Volando.
Reid: Don’t stop on my account Ace, tonight’s your night, all about your two year mark with that…
Xavier eyes the US Championship he was so hellbent on taking from Ace.
Reid: So relax, I’m not here to start any trouble, in fact I’m only here to watch your match with Stephanie…
But Ace looks past Xavier and right at Tlatoani who is carrying a large duffle bag, one very similar to the one his cousins shoved El Pablo in before unsuccessfully burying him in the Nevada desert. Tlatoani sees Ace looking at the bag and it hits him.
Tlatoani: Oh...no Ace this isn’t, I would never...it’s just the neighborhood down the road is doing their Trick or Treat tonight and I thought…
Dupree: He’s going as unsuccessful Indy wrestler Tlatoani Volando... I know, you’ve never heard of him right!
She laughs as Tlatoani looks at her, but Xavier grabs Ace’s attention again.
Reid: We would never think of kidnapping you Ace, not on a night like this so relax...buddy, my intentions here tonight are solely to watch you and Stephanie try to kill each other in this X-Division match, just do me a solid ok...don’t kill her, I’d hate for our match to be called off Monday night because you broke her damn neck.
The United States Champion raises an eyebrow and allows a smirk to cross his face as he briefly looks to Tlatoani.
Ace: For what it’s worth? I wasn’t really worried about the bag man anyway…
His body language relaxes a bit more as he turns his attention back to Xavier.
Ace: Now, I know I'm considered a killjoy of sorts by some people here, but really, no need to concern yourself with me. You’ll still get your match Monday night, and I know you’re smart enough to know you’re not going to just pick the bones… But you should know as well as anyone that I’ve never slowed down for anybody, so really? Que sera sera, or something.
Ace simply shrugs his shoulders, maintaining a relatively calm air about himself as looks from Reid to Tlatoani and Nikki, then back to Xavier.
Tlatoani: No hablo espanol, Ace... I was born in New Mexico but I do have this app…
Tlatoani goes to pull out his phone, but Nikki smacks him.
Reid: Listen Ace I’m not here to bring up the past, to rehash old feelings we might have towards one another so…
Xavier reaches out and pats the golden face of the US Championship belt.
Reid: Best of luck out there tonight, may the best...champion win and maybe...just maybe we will see each other again down the road somewhere.
After a few seconds, a small smile crosses the United States Champion’s face.
Ace: I appreciate it… Really, I do.
With a subtle nod toward Reid, Ace turns and heads off, leaving Xavier there with Nikki and Tlatoani as we cut to… (next segment / match)
Match #4
S.T. Vs DSR VOLUME II
(30 Minute Tag Team Bout)
(Ref: Mike Michaelson)
Duggan: Time for our co-main event! Our Tag Team Champions DSR Volume II Vs S.T.!
Loydson: Dear God, my heart might explode in this one!
Duggan: Someone bring Phil some aspirin!
Martinez: Better yet, someone just take him away!
Duggan: That could work!
Chriqui: The following tag team bout is scheduled for one fall and has a 30 minute time limit. Introducing first, standing at a combined weight of 225 pounds… S.T.!
"Pledge Your Allegiance" by Suicidal Tendencies starts up. 12 seconds in, the "S! T!" chants start. Aoife "Banshee" Maguire takes this as her cue to walk through the curtain with bodyguard/girlfriend, Katrina "Knox" Knox, right behind her. A second later, the team known as S.T., Jackie "Bandit Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire, walk through the curtain as well. the four women make their way to the ring where banshee steps through the ropes first, the others following her in. She takes the center of the ring with Knox behind her and points to the two corners facing the camera. Bandit takes the left corner, Psycho takes the right and all four raise a fist in the air.
Duggan: S.T. look pumped to face our tag team champions and prove themselves tonight.
Loydson: They look fantastic!
Martinez: S.T. are ready to kick down some walls and make themselves #1 contenders to the EWC championships after losing at YoungBlood.
Duggan: And if they beat the champs tonight, they definitely earned it.
Chriqui: Their opponents, standing at a combined weight of 293 pounds… DREAM SOUND REVOLUTION PART DEUX!
The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish’s “You should see me in a crown” begin to play over the P.A. system. Melody and her manager Vanessa come out from backstage, head held high as they stop on the ramp. Melody has her tag team championship wrapped around her waist. White Sister by Toto hits the arena as the lights dim low before strobing between red and the pitch blackness of the arena. Just as the loud guitar riffs echo throughout the arena the lights starts pulsing red and Iggy Swango emerges from behind the curtain as smog engulfs her. She stands at the top of the stage for a few moments as she nods her head to the rhythm of the music. Joining her on the stage is her trainer Tao Ohashi, who trails slowly behind. They catch up with Melody and Vanessa. Melody and Iggy nod and head to the ring while Vanessa and Tao head back to the back.
Loydson: PRECIOUS!
Martinez: Anyway, I have to agree with Duggan. This could very easily be her night to show the world what she’s got.
DING DING DING
Iggy and Psycho start this one off and Psycho wastes no time laying into the tag champ with a stiff European uppercut that knocks her to her ass. Iggy gets up but eats a chop right into her face! Psycho leaps into a dropkick that flings Iggy back into her corner where Melody tags in. Melody enters the ring slow and calculated while Psycho sums her up. The two lock up into a shoulder/collar tie-up. Melody shoves Psycho back and leaps up into an enziguri. Psycho stumbles back towards the ropes, before hitting them and rebounding off towards Melody. Both women go for a dropkick, both are down. Melody is up first and she leaps into a standing moonsault before dragging Psycho up and leaping into a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Melody drags Psycho up and shoves her into enemy territory. Iggy tags in. Melody locks on a headlock and flips up onto the turnbuckles into a tornado DDT while Iggy hits the ropes. Psycho lands hard off the DDT and the impact forces her to sit up while Iggy slams into her with a big boot. Iggy covers, Psycho kicks out.
Duggan: The tag champs have taken control of this one!
Loydson: I don’t know who to cheer!
Iggy drags Psycho up and hits her own stiff European uppercut that jars Psycho back. Iggy grabs Psycho’s wrist and lunges into a short-arm clothesline. Iggy drags Psycho up, maintaining wrist control as she wraps her wrist in front of her. Iggy rip-cords Psycho and goes for the spinning heel kick but Psycho ducks and leaps backwards towards her own corner, making the tag! Bandit rushes in and dropkicks Iggy nearly out of her boots! Iggy gets up to her feet and eats a chop to the throat, followed by some to her chest and then one to the face! Bandit Irish Whips Iggy into her corner before rushing her and landing another chop. Bandit begins to stomp a mudhole in Iggy, Psycho tags in and repeats it, Bandit tags in, Psycho tags in, etc etc. They stomp Iggy for minutes while Melody helplessly watches. Melody tries to make the save but the ref stops her while S.T. get even more vicious with their stomps. Psycho is the legal woman as she drags Iggy out of the corner. Psycho stands Iggy up and spins for Gealtachta but Iggy ducks! Iggy rolls Psycho up! Melody pulls Bandit off the apron and leaps into a Crowning Achievement!

DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall, in 17 minutes... DSR VOLUME 2!
Duggan: Our tag champs win, but let it be known S.T. pushed them to their limits in this one!
Loydson: I couldn’t even watch, my ladies killing each other, oh the horror!
Martinez: Big win for the champs as we move forward towards WrestleFest.
The camera cranes around the Honda Center before finally zooming in on a luxury suite. It’s deja vu. A seat on the left has a cigar smashed into it. The ashes still smolder. On the right, there is a newspaper draped over the chair. The message this time? “WHAT LINE?”
Duggan: We saw that at Youngblood…
Loydson: Amazing deduction there, you brainlet.
Martinez: Oh, yes. And it looks like NSFW continues to keep an eye on the tag team division. Gotta wonder when we’ll see them explain themselves. Or hell, fight even.
Duggan: Not a clue, friend. They’re keeping everyone in the dark including us. Anyway, stay tuned folks, our main event is coming up!
MATSUDA Vs KING
(No Time Limit - X-Division Bout)
(Ref: Toyo Yasahiro)
Duggan: Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for our main event, champion vs. champion!
Loydson: Oh God, two of the most BORING competitors going… honestly… do we have to do this?
Martinez: Enough, Philip! Matsuda has been a solid X-Division Champion, and Ace King as just broken the two-year mark as the United States Champion!
Duggan: Right, we’re ready to go here…
Chriqui: Making her way to the ring! Being accompanied by Monica Vaughan! From Brooklyn, NY! Weighing in at 132lbs,” The War Queen” Stephanie Matsuda!
“Rainy Days” by Boogie plays as Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda walks out dressed in her signature black fitted cap and a bandanna around her face. She has the EWC X-Division Championship around her waist. Trailed by manager Monica Vaughan, Matsuda walks on stage and crouches low, getting ready for her match. Stephanie and Monica walk down the ramp, their eyes fixated on the ring. At the bottom of the ramp, Matsuda runs and slides into the ring. She takes a moment to run the ropes and throws her hat into the crowd. She then climbs the nearest turnbuckle, pulls down her bandanna, and holds up her title as she stares into the crowd. She then jumps down and gives her ref her belt as she prepares for her match.
Duggan: Matsuda has put on some incredible performances as the X-Divison champion, and this will be a hell of a main event for her…
Loydson: … honestly, I’m actively hoping someone good makes an appearance out here…
Martinez: Folks please ignore my colleague, if anyone can put on a show, it’s The War Queen and The Gambler…
The crowd hears Lemmy's growl, and they go nuts as the opening bass line to 'Ace of Spades' rips through The Honda Center. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp in time with the beat, while frenetic red and gold spotlights pulse through the building before fixating on the ramp.
Chriqui: Making his way to the ring, FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 235 pounds... He is the EWC United States Champion… THE GAMBLER... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG!!!
There's a huge explosion as the guitar kicks in, and the crowd roars as the one and only Ace King rises from a platform through the smoke of the pyro and into the spotlights, soaking in the ovation with his championship draped over his shoulder. 'The Gambler' stays on a knee, taking the title down to look at it for a few seconds. He takes a deep breath and walks to the ring, calmly interacting with fans all the way down the ramp.
He stops for a couple seconds at the end of the ramp, then charges to the ring, with gold pyro exploding from the turnbuckles as he dives in under the bottom rope. He spins up onto one knee and stares out into the crowd before getting to his feet and hoisting his championship up for all to see. Once he hands the belt to the referee, he gets his game face on while staring a hole through his opponent.
DING DING DING
The crowd are ready for this one as the bell rings and Matsuda and King shake hands, each giving the other a nod and a point as the crowd cheers their X-Division and United States Champion on. Eventually they lock up and the larger King takes the advantage at the outset, twisting Matsuda round into an armlock which he fashions into a hammerlock, and then sends her off into the ropes and bends down looking to throw her over his shoulder – however The War Queen lands a well-placed kick to King’s head, runs off the ropes, and lands a neckbreaker to go for an early pin attempt which King kicks out of. Following the early reversal Matsuda takes command of the match as she rallies King with a series of kicks and chops, backing him up into the corner where she lands a sharp roundhouse kick, stunning him enough to back up and storm in for a dropkick! King stumbles forward and hits the mat as Matsuda shouts “let’s make this a proper X-Division match!” as she rolls out of the ring and throws up the apron. She throws a couple of chairs, a trash can, a sledgehammer, and some 2x4s into the ring, before climbing back in. As King gets to his feet Matsuda picks up a steel chair, driving it down on his head, before she places the chair over his chest and nails a standing moonsault to drive the metal down! She hooks the leg… but King gets the shoulder up.
Duggan: We’ve gone hardcore early on in this one!
Loydson: MAKE THEM BOTH BLEED
Martinez: Matsuda’s got the edge in the early goings here, she could take the United States Champion down!
Duggan: I wouldn’t count King out yet…
Matsuda raises her arms and begins to clap along, getting the crowd behind her as she paces around Ace King, waiting for him to get to his feet. As The Gambler pushes himself up she hauls a 2x4 and swings it at King’s head – only for The United States Champion to duck it and drive a big knee into Matsuda’s gut! The War Queen staggers back and King tears the 2x4 from her grasp, before swinging it into her abdomen, doubling her over, and then driving it down over her back. Matsuda hits the mat and Ace lands a big elbow onto her, before hauling her up and getting behind her, slamming her down with a big german suplex! He makes the cover but Stephanie throws the shoulder up in time. King throws a few hard shots down on Mastuda, and works her over on the mat for a while, before he drags her up and throws her into the turnbuckles, and as Matsuda stumbles out King grabs her head and springboards off the ropes with a tornado DDT! He makes the cover again and The War Queen gets the kick-out at two, and King gives her a respectful nod before he goes and sets a chair up as if he were going to sit in it, before dragging Matsuda up again…
Duggan: Looks like Ace has something on his mind…
Martinez: That chair’s waiting, and I think King’s hoping to send Matsuda through it to her doom!
As Stephanie staggers to her feet Ace stares at the chair, before he kicks the X-Division Champion in the gut and hauls her up, landing a vertical suplex to the mat! He rolls off once more and drags Matsuda up, landing a second vertical suplex, and the crowd loudly shout “two!”. Keeping hold of Matsuda’s neck Ace rolls up once more and lifts Matsuda, driving her down to the mat with another vertical suplex as the fans shout “three!” and get to their feet. Dragging The War Queen up for a fourth time King gestures towards the chair, lifting Matsuda up for the final part of Four Of A Kind – only for Matsuda to get a knee to the head! She drops down and stuns Ace with a big roundhouse to the head, before running off the ropes and leaping for her own springboard forearm smash Final Heaven – ONLY FOR ACE KING TO CATCH HER, HAUL HER UP, ND DRIVE HER DOWN THROUGH THE STOOD-UP STEEL CHAIR WITH A VERTICAL SUPLEX! The crowd are on their feet making as much noise as they can for the hardcore moment as King hooks the leg –
… ONE…
… TWO…
…THRE—NO! MATSUDA GETS THE KICK OUT!
Duggan: What a kick-out from the X-Division Champion!
Loydson: More of that!
Martinez: The Four Of A Kind finished through a set-up steel chair – Ace King has made his mark on this main event!
Ace looks more than impressed with Matusda as she fights her way up again, holding her head and back in pain from the big move. As she stumbles up King throws a few forearm shots, before he cracks her with Full House I, his roundhouse kick. The War Queen is stunned for a moment – AND KING HAULS HER UP ON HIS SHOULDERS INTO A TORTURE RACK, LOOKING FOR THE BLACKJACK BOMB – ONLY FOR MATSUDA TO BREAK FREE! She drops down behind Ace and grabs the sledgehammer, spinning around – AND SMASHING IT INTO THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION’S FACE! King staggers back and Matsuda drops the hammer, before she BLASTS HIM WITH YAHTZEE, HER SUPERKICK! KING HITS THE MAT AND MATSUDA COVERS…
… ONE…
… TWO…
… THRE—NO! ACE KING KICKS OUT IN THE NICK OF TIME! Matsuda sits bolt upright and stares at her opponent, surprised she didn’t score the three, before she shakes her head and shows the focus and dedication that’s kept her as the X-Division Champion by getting to her feet and searching amongst the weapons. Her mind is clearly turning around as she pulls the trash can out from a pile and sets it up in the middle of the ring, staring back at King…
Duggan: This is Stephanie Matsuda’s playground, and she’s getting ready to play!
Loydson: END ACE KING’S CAREER!
Martinez: I’m worried what’s gonna happen with that trash can…
Matsuda taps the trash can, the metallic noise sounding out around the arena as she turns back to Ace King, who slowly struggles to his feet. Matsuda smirks as she picks up a steel chair, and as King turns around Matsuda swings the steel – BUT KING DODGES IT, AND ON THE RETURN NAILS THE HIGH ROLLER, HIS CODEBREAKER! Matsuda hits the deck, limp, and as King goes to pick her up there’s HUGE boos from the crowd, and King turns to the ramp as a figure comes running down in high heels…
Duggan: Is that…?
Martinez: It’s Crème de la Crème! Scorpio’s manager is getting herself involved!
Crème reaches the ringside area and begins to tap Vidal The Hairdryer in her hands, staring daggers at Ace King. The United States Champion stares down, before he suddenly turns around and looks around the rest of the ringside area, clearly expecting the see Scorpio. Crème raises an eyebrow and smirks as King looks paranoid, desperately trying to find his assailant. Matsuda hauls herself to her feet, and as King turns Matsuda goes for another Yahtzee superkick – ONLY FOR KING TO BLAST HER WITH AN ELBOW STRIKE, STUNNING HER ENOUGH TO HAUL HER UP INTO THE TORTURE RACK – BEFORE HE DRIVES HER WITH THE BLACKJACK BOMB THROUGH THE METAL TRASH CAN! THE CROWD ARE ON THEIR FEET AS KING MAKES THE COVER, HIS EYES ON CRÈME DE LA CRÈME THE WHOLE TIME…
… ONE…
… TWO…
… THREE!!!!
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall... THE UNITED STATES CHAMPION… ACE KING!
Duggan: Ace King stepped into the X-Division, and while Matsuda showed that this is her territory, he’s come out with a big win!
Martinez: For the two years he’s held that title The Gambler has been an unstoppable force, and he’s proven it once again…
Duggan: … and that damn Crème de la Crème is still lurking at ringside…
King stares at the drag queen/manager for a moment, before he turns around and helps Matsuda get to her feet, offering her a few sympathetic words Crème de la Crème takes the opportunity to jump a distracted Ace King, however as she hits the apron – STEPHANIE MATSUDA LEAPS FORWARD AND LANDS A FOREARM, SENDING THE DRAG QUEEN FLYING DOWN! The crowd give a loud cheer as Crème crumples in a heap, and Matsuda turns back to The Gambler. She gives a respectful nod to the United States Champion before Ace offers a hand, and Matsuda takes it. King raises her hand in victory and the fans give a cheer, before Matsuda bows to her opponents and climbs from the ring. She raises her X-Division Championship and leaves up the ramp, leaving Ace King in the ring.
The United States Champion stares down at the pink-and-blonde mess that is Crème de la Crème, and he climbs out, staring down at the drag queen. The crowd begin to cheer loudly as King stands over the manager, and a smirk develops over his face. He stalks behind Crème as she gets to her feet, and the fans are on their feet, desperate to see The Gambler take Crème down – WHEN A FAN REACHES OVER THE BARRIER, BRINGING A STEEL CHAIR DOWN ON ACE KING’S HEAD!
Martinez: WHAT THE HELL?!
Loydson: NOW THE CROWD ARE GETTING INVOLVED!
The fans are stunned as King hits the deck, and the fan climbs over the ropes. The man is dressed in a baseball cap, plaid shirt and jeans, any old plain fan in the EWC front row. He drags Ace King to his feet and throws him into the ring, before climbing in after King and staring him down…
Duggan: Is… is that…?
Martinez: OH MY GOD IT IS!
The fan pulls off his baseball cap, throwing it aside, and some platinum-blonde locks fall out. The fans begin to clock on as the fan rips off his plaid shirt, revealing a chiffon blouse beneath, and he reaches into the pocket of the jeans and pulls out mascara, eye-liner, and lipstick. The ‘fan’ applies the make-up, and suddenly it becomes apparent that the fan is none other than Scorpio, make-up free and dressed in plain clothes! Outside the ring Crème de la Crème throws up the apron and pulls out some Louboutin heels, before she slides in with Vidal The Hairdryer and Scorpio’s heels. The S-Factor ditches his sneakers and gets into the signature footwear, smirking as Ace King begins to get to his feet. Scorpio takes Vidal and wraps the cord around Ace’s throat, choking him out as he sneers and the crowd boo loudly. Crème screams at a ringside crew member to get a microphone, and as she’s handed one she places it in front of Scorpio’s mouth…
Scorpio: Oh Ace… Ace… Ace… for two long, long, loooooong years you’ve dominated the United States Championship, and for two long years the division has been becoming more and more stale, predictable, dull. It’s about time for a changing of the guard…
The fans are giving some serious heat as Scorpio pulls back even harder on the hairdryer cable wrapped around Ace’s throat, and the United States Champion seems to begin to fade…
Scorpio: For two years these pathetic EWC fans have been cheering you on, hanging on your every word, following your every moment. WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU GOT THAT I HAVEN’T?! WHAT MAKES YOU SO DAMN SPECIAL ACE KING?! I’ll tell you darling… nothing. This crowd abandoned me when I needed them the most, and yet despite two years of the same-old Ace King coming out every week they cheer you like you’re the hottest thing in town. Well Ace… baby… it’s time to make them pay… it’s time to make you pay… it’s time to usher in the Fabulous Era…
He finally lets up on the cord wrapped around Ace King’s neck, before he throws the hairdryer aside. He hauls Ace up and grabs his arm, twisting it, before placing the heel of his Louboutin shoe against King’s throat and dropping back – THE HEEL TURN! The sickening move drives the boot into Ace King’s neck, and the United States Champion is left gasping and writhing on the mat. The crowd are booing as loudly as they can as Scorpio gets to his feet and stands over King. Crème de la Crème screams at the ringside attendants once more, and is handed King’s title belt. She passes it onto The S-Factor, and Scorpio stands over Ace King, holding the United States Championship aloft…
Scorpio: At WrestleFest I’m ending your historic reign… and darling… I think I just found my must-have accessory for next season…
He stares at the United States Championship in his grasp as “Iconic” by Madonna blasts over the speakers, and the Anaheim fans give Scorpio as much heat as they can. The final shot is of Scorpio standing tall over a gasping and semi-conscious Ace King…
Duggan: Well folks we’ve had a hell of a night, but it’s finishing amidst controversy and chaos here as Scorpio has unleashed a vicious attack on the United States Champion…
Martinez: And we’ve also had our first WrestleFest match confirmed, as Scorpio and Ace King will battle one-on-one for the coveted gold!
Duggan: We’ve got one more Rampage, then it’s our season finale, then it’s the big one… tune in next Rampage to see how this one pans out… So long folks!
