Video footage detailing historic events over the EWC's twenty-three year history, from March 1997 all the way down to the four-day spectacle that was Wrestlefest XVIII.
Images of previous EWC Champions and award winners are shown.
This is followed by highlights of showcasing all the nominees for the night.
The energy in the Microsoft Theater is electrifying.
Spotlights circle around the theater as the thousands of fans in the venue are shown in a wide angle shot. The camera then pans out showing a full-scale view of the jam-packed theater and zooms in on some of the celebrities inside the lounge area.
The lights begin to dim and there is a loud cheer as 2020 EWC Honors hosts Tom and Colin Hanks take to the stage
Tom Hanks: Hello everyone, whether you're with us in Los Angeles or watching at home .. welcome to EWC Honors 2020!
Tom Hanks: Hello everyone, whether you're with us in Los Angeles or watching at home .. welcome to EWC Honors 2020!
The audience starts to cheer and chant
Tom Hanks: I'm Tom Hanks, and if you see me in public, please .. leave me be.
Tom chuckles at this, drawing some laughter from the crowd in the process.
Tom Hanks: All jokes aside, I'm here with my son Colin, a face that may be familiar to the EWC Nation as he was once a part of commentary. He and I are both excited to be here tonight, isn't that right Colin?
Colin Hanks: They found me. I don't know how, but they found me. Just when I thought I was out, they brought me back in.
Tom: Haha, good one Colin .. adjusting his collar As you can see, Colin's just thrilled to be back in the fold.
The audience laughs as Tom continues.
Tom: As the record-breaking Season 21 comes to a close, we look back on all the moments and highlight the best of the best of Monday Night BRAWL, Friday Night RAMPAGE, Future Stars of Wrestling, EWC PRIME, EWC Thunder, and the thrilling Pay-Per-View events of 2020.
Colin: What .. no EWC Glitter?
The cameras find President Mac as he yells out GLITTER to the delight of the fans
Colin: Well that was intense .. it's an inside joke .. anyways .. the EWC is filled with the most talented, most elite competitors of any company in the entire world. The EWC is known for showcasing the best in professional wrestling that the world has ever seen. Some of the greatest names of the business have been associated with EWC, second to none in the industry.
Tom: So tonight, we celebrate the best of an amazing season and look back fondly on a chaotic year.
Colin: Without further ado, we'd like to introduce our first presenter of the evening .. Jason Statham!
The audience claps and cheer as Jason Statham is about to take the stage.
Statham: Lets get things started fast and furiously shall we .. kicking off the awards tonight .. the EWC looks to honor various achievements of the season with awards named in honor of EWC Legends and Hall of Famers. We saw these individual awards introduced in 2019.
Jason takes a moment as the crowd applauds, and then continues
Statham: We start with an award named for an EWC competitor who was known as one of the most dominant wrestlers in EWC history, setting the record for wins in a season. Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the 2020 Memphis Reigns Award for Most Wins in a Season is ...well this is awkward .. Scorpio, with 20 wins in 2020!
The boos begin to reign down at the mention of Scorpio's name .. the cameras catch a glimpse of Summer Mac enjoying the boo's
Statham: Our next award is named after a man that is well-regarded in the EWC, from the current roster to fellow Legends and Hall of Famers. Known as one of the most polished and respected wrestlers of all time, this was a man with the best rookie season ever. He is the winner of multiple accolades, and a three time Undisputed Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, the Ashton Drake Award for Most MVP Wins in a Season goes to ... Ryo Hazama, with 10 MVP wins for 2020!
Statham: Our next award is named after a former International Champion who spent a lot of time perfecting his craft, bettering himself and always looking for ways to improve. As such, we present the MadDawg Award for Most Improved Wrestler of the Season to...Jordan Freakin' Sharpe!
Statham: Our next award is named after a two-time Undisputed Champion and Hall of Famer known as one of the most dominant champions in history. This man set the bar for all champions to follow, always ready to defend his titles and by proxy, his honor. We were incredibly saddened over his loss in late 2020. Xplode consistently set the standard for all to follow. He was a good man that will be dearly missed, so this year's award proves to be an especially poignant honor. Please join me in a moment of silence for our fallen brother.

Statham: Thank you .. and so, we announce the Xplode Award for Most Successful Championship Defenses in a Season, to...Nevaeh with 3 singles title defenses, and Dream Sound Revolution Part Deux for 4 tag title defenses for 2020!
Statham: The last of these awards is named after a man of many words. If he could find a microphone or a camera, he made sure he was heard. Holder of many titles, he knew how to tell it better than anyone else in his era, using every avenue available to him. As such, the Steve Bennett Award for Best Use of Fighter Talk in a Season goes to...Gabrielle Visconty!
Statham: Congratulations to everyone who won these awards in the EWC Honors ceremony! In just a moment, we begin the rest of the awards for Season 21!
The audience applauds as Jason leaves the stage, before we cut to commercial.
Back from commercial, we see Danny Mac and Jason Statham chatting
The crowd then applauds as John Boyega takes the stage.
Boyega: Our next award represents the rise of an up and coming superstar in the business. We saw a showcase of such talent at this year's Youngblood event, but tonight we honor one rookie that stood out above the rest. The nominees are...

Boyega: Unfortunately Ryo was unable to attend tonight, so I will accept this on his behalf. Ryo Hazama had an amazing rookie year in the EWC, and we want it to be known that his hard work is appreciated.
The audience applauds in agreement as John steps away from the stage before we go to commercial.
We come back from commercial to see the Assistant General Manager of Brawl make his way to the stage, a smirk on the face of Timothy Kahrs as he approaches the podium.
Kahrs: Tonight we honor the best of the EWC, and with Mr. Connors missing in action after what happened at WrestleFest the duty of honoring the best of Monday Night BRAWL falls upon the Assistant GM. It's been a chaotic year for the red brand, but we have risen above the mayhem to carry the banner as the flagship brand of EWC. With that in mind, these nominees exemplified MNB in 2020...

Kahrs: The former International and Undisputed Champion was unfortunately unable to make it tonight, so I will be accepting this award on his behalf as Brawl's assistant GM. Needless to say, we are very proud of what Xavier did on the red brand this year! We all look forward to seeing what he brings in Season 22.
The crowd applauds as Kahrs leaves the stage, allowing Rampage GM Grizzly Duggan to step up next.
Duggan: Ladies and gentlemen, Friday Night Rampage had a tremendous season with plenty of exciting moments and action from everyone on our roster, showing everyone what the green brand is all about on Friday nights! Tonight, we honor the Rampage Wrestler of the Year. The nominees are...

Duggan: And the award goes to ... SCORPIO!
We get a short video package highlighting Scorpio's career on Rampage before coming back to Duggan on stage. Boo's come from all over the theater.
Duggan: After what happened at WrestleFest, it's safe to say that Scorpio is not here to accept this award .. as such, I will be accepting it on his behalf as General Manager. His contribution to the green brand will not be forgotten, even if his actions throughout last season will be frowned upon for ages to come.

This draws applause from the audience as Duggan steps down before we go to commercial.

Chris Brock: And the winner is..... STITCHES!
We cut to the Undisputed Champion himself, a smirk on his face as he takes to the stage to accept his award.
Stitches: Imagine choosing anyone else to win this award. Mercenary? Killjoy Ito? Wes Walker? Candy? None of them had a better year than I did. For almost five months of the year, I was the reigning, defending FSW Champion, after winning the championship last September. I won the Rumble match in September of this year after surpassing thirty-nine others and I was the first FSW competitor, whilst still under the FSW banner, to win the Undisputed Championship. And to think, when I walked through those curtains I was considered the brand invader. Melody Malone was intent to send my ass packing for being a brand invader but she was green by the time the Undisputed Championship was strapped around her waist. I was not welcomed in that locker room, not one bit. Even when I won the FSW Championship, I still wasn't welcomed, anyone and everyone wanted to tear that championship away from me and restore 'order' to the FSW brand. But now, who's face is the representation of this brand? Not Mercenary. Not Killjoy Ito. Not Wes Walker or Candy. It is me, your Undisputed Champion and FSW Wrestler Of The Year. About damn time too, I will add. I was robbed last year by a man obsessed with sashes, of all people.
The champion scoffs at this, cutting his speech short as he leaves the stage. Moments later, the Co-General Managers of PRIME take to the stage.
Evans: Tonight we look back on the best of the Indy circuit as presented through the lens of the PRIME brand. We saw some big and crazy moments on PRIME, and we have a tremendous roster that looks to bring such moments on a regular basis.
Kushnir: With that said, we present the PRIME Wrestler of the Year! The nominees are...

Here are the nominees for PPV of the Year in 2020 ..

Leo: And the award goes to ... WRESTLEFEST XVIII!
A big applause as we get a video package highlighting the best from the four-day extravaganza that was WrestleFest, culminating in the main event of the final evening for the Undisputed Championship. As the video wraps up, we return to the stage as President Mac approaches the podium to accept the award.
Mac: Back-to-back years for WrestleFest, wow. I might be up here alone to accept this award but trust me, I was far from alone in having this event be the success that it is. Last year seeing the realization of WrestleFest becoming a true Wrestling Festival was a highlight of my career. I am thankful to all the people behind the scenes who made this not just a success but possible. I share this award with all of our staff, crew members, roster and of course, all you fans who voted. Thank you again!
The audience applauds as Mac leaves the podium, with Leo heading back to present the next award.
Leo: Our next award is, in many ways, the culmination of a war that was waged this season between the four brands of the EWC. We saw the very first Parabellum event held to settle things, but I suspect this was a very hotly-contested award this season all the same! Let's look one more time at the brands involved in this award, for Brand of the Year in 2020..

Leo: And the award goes to ... FUTURE STARS OF WRESTLING
FSW General Manager Chris Brock smiles wide as he walks up to the podium to accept the brand of the year award.
Brock: I told you... I told every one of you that this was coming. I said that 2020 was the year of the Orange brand and I made it my mission to ensure that FSW won its first brand of the year award. This roster took my challenge and they delivered... Time and time again they delivered. From cage matches, to X-division titles, to Carnival Carnage, The rumble and the main event of WresteFest and the Undisputed championship! They delivered. I would say this is the first of many brand of the year awards, but FSW is no more. So next year when I stand at this podium, it will be to accept Paramount Wrestling's firs of MANY brand of the year awards. Thank you so much for the award!
Brock leaves the podium, making his way back to his seat as Leo returns to present the next award.
Leo: And with that, we have an award making its return to the festivities as we look at who takes home the honor of GM of the Year! Again, a rivalry between the brands this season led to some heated words between the General Managers, leading to a match between them at the Rumble event! With that said, let's look at the GMs and see who takes this award this season!

Leo: And the award goes to... GM CHRIS BROCK!
Brock is not even back to his seat before he stops, turns and goes back to the podium.
Brock: I set out in season 21 to make FSW the brand of the year, and moments ago I did just that. Who would have ever thought that we would end the season with the rumble winner AND Undisputed champion being on the Orange brand?! I am absolutely honored to be named General Manager of the year, but the accomplishments of my brand all go to its roster. They bust their ass in that ring every show. Their passion is always on display and I cannot be more proud of each and every one of them. Paramount Wrestling will continue to carry that torch and I encourage you all to tune in February 3rd. Thank you for this honor.
We come back from commercial with applause from the audience at the sight of Kevin Hart at the podium with the Award for Match of the Year
Hart: Holy shit .. EWC did it again .. They put me on to present some awards for the second year in a row. Someone tell Victor Price that The Rock STILL wants his damn suits back.
Kevin laughs along with crowd
Hart: Look, I'm not gonna get into a long rant like I did last year, but I need y'all to know that I respect everything this company has done in 2020. Just look at this next award we're giving out. These competitors gave it their all in the ring, and we shine a spotlight on the incredible effort they put in. The nominees for Match of the Year are...

Hart: And the award goes to ... SCORPIO VS DANNY MAC
The audience applauds as President Mac comes to the podium to accept the award.
Mac: Wow, this one was unexpected. Truly. I am humbled to have been even mentioned along side the other eight nominees here tonight. The spectacle they each put on. I share this award with all of them. All of them but Scorpio. Mac laughs. Scorpio, wherever you are, hiding behind a keyboard somewhere, no doubt stealing someone’s Wi-Fi, thank you for being the little bitch you are and making this match a possibility. It was a pleasure slapping you around, turnbuckle to turnbuckle. I look forward to being served by you the next time I swing by a Starbucks. To all the fans who voted for this match, I truly and honestly am humbled by this. Thank you so much for your loyalty, your love, and your dedication as fans. Much love to you all.
The audience applauds once more as Mac leaves the podium, allowing Hart to return to present the next award.
Hart: The next award honors a rivalry that went far beyond a single match, often taking place throughout most, if not the entire season. Battles were fought and wars waged this season, and these were particularly noteworthy. The nominees for Feud of the Year are...

Hart: And the award goes to .. oh, THIS is interesting .. SCORPIO VS PRESIDENT MAC!!
President Mac has not quite reached his seat at the time of announcement, a smile on his face as he turns back to return to the podium and accept the award.
Mac: My goodness raises both awards .. I am at a loss here fam. I can’t accept this award on my own. I need to call upon the person who … who deserves this more than I do … Summer .. where you at?
The crowd laughs and cheers as Summer makes her way to the stage. Her and Mac hug, and Mac hands her the award
Mac: Sum, you are the reason the match happened, you are the reason this feud carried on as long as it did, you were my motivation, you are my everything. Without you, Scorpio would just be another whiny child in a Toys R Us line. Instead, he got his ass whopped live for the world to see. Got his ass fired. And who is left standing? Someone who will forever look better than him in heels. My love, this award is for you. Thank you again to all the fans who voted, I appreciate you all so damn much.
Summer walks over to the mic

We come back to commercial to see Tom Hanks at stage left.
Gordon comes onto the stage to a big applause .. he nods his head at Tom before taking to the mic
Ramsay: Thank you Tom .. and thank you all! I am beyond thrilled to be presenting an award I can relate to. In my line of work, I have seen some insane shit take place, and this award honors the moments that showcased just how batshit crazy things can be in the EWC. I'm pretty sure I can say that, right? After all, the name of this award is the Holy Shit Moment of the Year .. the censors are telling me that will fly, so that's good to know. The nominees are ...
HOLY SHIT MOMENT OF THE YEAR
- Stitches winning the EWC Rumble
- Jordan Sharpe Throwing Dominic Sanders Off A Train
- Scorpio is Fired at WrestleFest XVIII

Cardi: And the award goes to ... Holy Shit ... STITCHES WINNING THE EWC RUMBLE!!!
We cut to Stitches in the audience, a sly smirk on his face before he makes his way to the stage to accept his award at the podium.
Stitches: This is a perplexing one. As good as it feels to hold this award in my hand, was it really that surprising that I won the Rumble match? After three previous failed attempts there was no way I was going to make it a fourth. I outlasted thirty nine other competitors to win the Rumble, all after surviving the acid trip that was the Candy Castle Match earlier in the night. The only 'Holy Shit!' moment that me winning the Rumble created were the scrunching of all of your faces as you realized that Stitches the freakin' clown would be main-eventing WrestleFest. The carnival clown would be one step closer to becoming your Undisputed Champion and the face of this entire company. And hey, look, Stitches did, in fact, do just that, he became the Undisputed Champion and the face of this entire damn company. The only 'Holy Shit!' moment that came from all of this was the fact that this ugly mug would be plastered all over the company's promotional posters. So thanks to me, and only me, for this 'Holy Shit!' moment. I'll gladly accept this award.
With that, the Undisputed Champion takes leave of the stage as Gordon returns to the podium.
Ramsay: Our next award showcases how difficult it is to be so good that people hate you for it. Out of everyone nominated, one can lay claim to being the most loathed. The nominees for Most Hated Wrestler of the Year are...

Jay: Snootchie bootchies .. well, shit .. you weren't kidding about this being some black-tie bullshit Kevin. Folks, don't take this the wrong way alright? We're thrilled to be presenting the next award in the EWC Honors, ain't that right Kev?
Kevin: ..
Jay: Kevin? ..
Kevin: ..
Jay: I swear to God if you're doing a bit right now ..
Kevin: I'm just messin' with ya, Jay.
Jay: Thank f--k for that.
Kevin: This next award looks at fellow duos that showed off great chemistry to be successful in the tag team division, with some very strong contenders.
Jay: Absolutely, just look at us Kev. We've been through thick and thin, just like these nominees .. the difference being, they ain't been in Mallrats. And Clerks II. And Dogma. Especially Dogma.
Kevin: sigh And the nominees are ..

Jay: And the award goes to .. snooch to the booch, it's my dudes .. THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS!
We get a video package highlighting the rise of The Southern Express, culminating in their successful run as Tag Team Champions in the latter part of the year. We come back to applause from the audience and Jay and Kevin back at the podium.
Jay: We found out earlier tonight that Southern Express couldn't attend tonight, presumably partying it up God only knows where. So, before we go, we do want to take a look at one more award that honors those who stood behind and beside their charges to ensure success this past season.
Kevin: That's right Jay, we're looking at the Manager or Valet of the Year, and in 2020 we had some very strong contenders! The nominees are ..

Kevin: And the award goes to .. THE LOVE FAMILY!
Kevin: It does seem as though the entirety of the Love Club went on vacation, but we were told earlier tonight that Tommy, Buddy, and Bunny Love all appreciate the fact that they are finally being honored for something they've known all along. So, once again, kudos to the Love Family and may their clients see continued success in the coming season!
Jay: Hell yeah, brother! We pulled off our first wrestling awards show, and we didn't get kicked out for once!
Kevin smacks Jay upside the head, much to Jay's anger.
Jay: Yo, what the f--k was that for?
Kevin: Jay, you dummy, we were here like four years ago.
Jay: We were?
Kevin: Yeah, we were here with Matt and Ben.
Kevin points toward the audience where we cut to Damon and Affleck, with Ben trying his best to hide the disappointment in his eyes.
Jay: Shit, you're right. Sorry, fellas!
Kevin just shakes his head.
Kevin: We're definitely never getting invited again.
This gets some laughs and applause from the audience as Mewes and Smith leave the stage before we go to commercial.
We return from commercial to a round of applause as Tyler Perry approaches the podium, ready to present the next award.
Perry: Our next award highlights just a few of the men vying for the spot of alpha male in the EWC. Each of our nominees made a big statement throughout the season, whether it was claiming championships or a Presidency, and throughout it all they showed exactly what made them stand out. The nominees for Male Wrestler of the Year are ..

Perry: And the award goes to ... JORDAN SHARPE!
We cut to a surprised Jordan Sharpe, who takes to the stage to accept his award.
JFS: Of all the dudes, I'm certainly one of them. Male wrestler of the year is certainly not something I thought I could have one before. EWC is full of amazing talent, female and male BOTH and I'm happy to accept this award. Thank you very much.
Sharpe takes his leave from the stage as the crowd applauds, before Tyler leaves the stage to make way for the next presenter.
Katy: Our next award honors the top women of the EWC, a company that stands out in the business for providing opportunities that other promotions would shy away from. These nominees exemplify the talent that shines here, in what is often considered a dark business .. The nominees for Female Wrestler of the Year are...

The audience applauds the efforts of the reigning United States Champion as Katy leaves the stage before we go to commercial.
Colin: Welcome back to the 2020 EWC Honors Awards Show .. what a show it's been so far, huh Dad?

Pitt: And the award goes to ... JORDAN SHARPE!
Jordan makes his way to the stage, a genuine look of surprise on his face.
JFS: Being a Champion is something every wrestler aims for. It is why a lot of us do what we do. Holding a Championship in EWC is hard enough, being Champion of the Year is something else. I've been fortunate enough to hold a few titles in EWC, and one of those was amazingly enough the Undisputed Championship. I hope I did that title proud just like I hold this Indy Title with pride. Thank you for this. It means a lot. I've got many more Championships to win yet!
This gets a hearty applause from the audience as Jordan leaves the podium, returning to his seat as Pitt is next to leave. In his place is one of last year's EWC Honors co-hosts, Jimmy Fallon.
This gets a hearty applause from the audience as Jordan leaves the podium, returning to his seat as Pitt is next to leave. In his place is one of last year's EWC Honors co-hosts, Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon: Hello everyone, I am thrilled to be here tonight for what we have in store next. Every year at the EWC Honors show we hold an induction ceremony for new members of the EWC Hall of Fame .. and this year, it is an honor and a privilege to welcome to the stage at this time .. Ace King!
The crowd cheers as Ace comes out to the stage, the X-Division Championship over his shoulder. He shakes hands with Jimmy then carefully positions the championship on the podium as the music and applause dies down.
Ace King: When I think of Luke Wolfe, the first thing that comes to mind is visionary. For better or for worse, he saw and thought about this business differently than anyone else, whether that was literal in his cult leader days, or when he was in the ring. Luke Wolfe always had something to make him stand out from the pack, and it made him one of the more captivating competitors of our generation.
The audience is locked in as Ace looks up briefly before going ahead.
Ace King: What made Luke different was his ability to make you believe, which is a rather important quality when you call yourself “The Messiah.”
The crowd laughs a bit as Ace just shrugs his shoulders before continuing.
Ace King: No matter how outlandish some of it sounded at the time, Luke had a way of making everything feel bigger, and he drew people in. For example, after winning it, he famously proclaimed this piece of gold right here to be the X-Division Championship OF THE WORLD!!! I laughed it off as a boy crying Wolfe at first, but the longer he had it, the more you could see he believed in what he was doing, and the results spoke for themselves. Fast-forward a couple years, and here I am with the same championship, defending it against anyone in the EWC world, holding him up as the standard I want to emulate.
Ace taps his hand on the main plate of the X-Division Championship, and the crowd applauds in kind.
Ace King: Now, I’ll be the first to admit that Luke Wolfe and I didn’t always get along. When I first came to EWC, he was headlong into leading Anarchy ‘16. Most looked to Xplode or Drake as the standardbearers of the time, but with me being on Friday nights, Luke Wolfe was Rampage’s equivalent. As the United States Champion, he was the man to beat there, and though I considered him a literal false prophet at the time, he showed no signs of slowing down. However, outside of a couple encounters with many others involved, I never really had the chance to test myself against this enigmatic beast.
Ace pauses for a moment to collect himself.
Ace King: ...but everything changed on February 23, 2018 in Terre Haute, Indiana. You see, even though we had different ideologies, we both knew Friday Night Rampage was in a rut, we both knew it needed a spark, and we both had the fire to make it happen. That night, a Champion vs. Champion Steel Cage Match went down in the Hulman Center, and almost as if it came from a stray bolt of Wolfe’s lightning, it sent a surge of energy through the brand, and things have never been the same since. That night, I saw someone who truly cares about what we do, and we developed a deep mutual respect. In the face of everyone claiming we were struggling, Luke Wolfe helped redefine what it means to compete on Friday Night Rampage.
The crowd applauds the sentiment, and Ace simply nods along before it eventually dies down.
Ace King: About a month later, his crowning achievement arrived. I remember it well, the King of the Mountain match at StrangleMania in his hometown of Atlanta… Now, I’d like to say I saw it happen, but while he climbed the ladder with the Undisputed Championship in his hands, I was rolling around on the canvas courtesy one of his trademark fireballs.
The crowd laughs as Ace’s face scrunches up at the memory.
Ace King: Say what you will, but the man always had a trick up his sleeve. It still hurts sometimes, the bastard…
The words come with a playful smirk as the crowd continues to laugh.
Ace King: Anyway, so many people talk about the childhood dream coming true, and you could see it on his face that night, and he was especially proud of bringing the championship to Friday nights for the first time in ages. There aren’t many better feelings than finally reaching the top of this industry after fighting for it for so long, but for Luke to do it in his hometown? Man, that’s hard to top.
Ace takes a deep breath before continuing, allowing the audience an opportunity to applaud once more.
Ace King: Alas, all good things come to an end, and once again, our paths intertwined in his backyard. At the time, I didn’t know which way was up, and I was merely existing as opposed to living, but Luke…
Ace has to pause briefly, his emotions bubbling to the surface.
Ace King: ...but Luke saw something I couldn’t. Of all the crazy things he’s believed over the year, him believing in me while I was in that spiral might have been the craziest. He may have wanted one more match, but as it always was with Luke, there was more to it: He wanted me to open my eyes. And so, we went at it one last time, and everything came pouring out on both sides. When it was over, I thanked him, but it wasn’t just for what he’d done in his career. It was also for everything he’d done for me, because whether he realized it or not, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for Luke Wolfe giving me something to aspire to, and here’s just a small sample of what made him special.
A video montage plays, displaying a retrospective on Luke Wolfe's Career. As the video concludes, the audience starts cheering as Ace smiles broadly.
Ace King: Ladies and gentlemen, he brought the thunder to EWC for a long time, and now he’s got a permanent place in the Hall of Fame, so it’s my privilege to welcome to the stage... THE MESSIAH… THE UNTOUCHABLE… and now, THE HALL OF FAMER… LUKE… WOLFE!
As the video nears the close, Luke Wolfe walks out on stage with someone with a woman that has never been seen on EWC TV. As he approaches the podium a small tear rolls down his cheek.
Luke: I want to start things out by introducing someone who has never before appeared on EWC TV. This is my daughter, Aundrea, who I wanted to introduce to all of you. Without going into any personal details, I wanted to introduce her to the world, to all of you, to my EWC family. Because tonight is a bitter sweet feeling for me. This is not a Luke Wolfe storyline, I’m being straight with all of you. This is a shoot, I’m being real real serious, call this an out of character moment if you want. About a week ago my daughter was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, and she could really use all your prayers. She has an operation scheduled in about a week, to hopefully remove all traces of cancer. I have faith that everything is going to go smoothly, because I am not going to bury my daughter! My daughter is going to bury me.
With a tear in his eye, he gives his daughter a heartfelt hug, as she thanks him for introducing her and asking for prayers from the EWC family. As she turns and stands behind him, Jessica Annabelle Wolfe joins them on stage, with her face half painted as Annabelle.
Luke: I’m sure you all remember my wife, and her mother, Jessica who joined our ranks under her alter Annabelle. I want to include both of them up with me tonight. I can not describe how special this night is for me, and I want them both to be a part of it. Since I am starting things with details that have never been revealed to EWC cameras, I think I will continue there. I’ve never spoken of this in front of EWC cameras. I spent many years prior to my debut in the EWC as a journeyman under a different name. My career prior to the EWC saw many federations come and go, multiple championships and multiple World Championships along the way. About one month before I came to the EWC I wrestled what I thought was my last match. But I decided to come to the EWC, the greatest wrestling federation in the world, under my own name. Opening up the flood gates, and revealing myself and my life story to all of you. And I can tell you, that all those championships across all those feds dont even come close to comparing to holding the EWC Tag Team, United States, X-Division, and Undisputed World Heavyweight championships each only one time. I came to the EWC with the intent to having one final run to tell my story the way I wanted to tell it. It turned into a dream that I never imagined it could have. I came in feeling I was passed my prime, and I ended up turned out my best performances of my career… and it is because of each and every one of you that stepped into the ring with me. You brought the best out in me, and I can only hope I brought the best out in you. I want to say thank you to everyone, because YOU made me look good. It’s something I can never repay to any of you, all I can say is thank you for all the amazing memories you gave me.
The crowd cuts him off as Luke gets choked up.
Both Jessica/Annabelle and his daughter Aundrea console an emotionally overwhelmed Luke Wolfe, as he takes a deep breath and starts again.
Luke: I can not describe, just how proud I am to say that every match I had under my own name, the best days of my entire career, were in an EWC ring, or as a representative of the EWC in one of it’s sister feds. For over ten years I traveled trying to find a permanent home, I had no idea that my proudest days would come in the greatest wrestling company in the world, when I finally opened up, put my painful past on display and let you all into my world like never before. When I found out a year ago that I was going to be the 2020 Hall of Fame inductee it didn’t seem real. It didn’t hit me till tonight just what an honor it is to be able to have my name live forever among those of the all time greats of this business. Some of them who are no longer with us. There has been many times that I felt disrespected by many, never feeling like I was treated with the same respect as others that came before me… but I can see now that I could never have been more wrong. I wish that I had the chance to tell guys like Xplode and Drake how sorry I am for some of the things I said about them. I know that I was not always the best example for my peers, I wasn’t always the greatest representative of the EWC. But through it all the EWC family, and maybe most importantly President Mac never turned their back on me, even when I really gave them plenty of reasons to. The EWC means more to me than I can ever put words to. This place is truly a family, regardless of the things we say to each other on camera, or the things we do to each other in the ring, you are all my family, and I love each and ever one of you.
Luke’s voice cracks as he becomes over whelmed yet again.
Luke: When I started out in this business all I ever wanted was for all of you to think I was good. The Hall of Fame seemed like a pipe dream that I could never achieve, and really it was never a goal because it was one I never thought I could reach. All I wanted to do was tell my story and do it my way, and not only was I given that opportunity here, but now they will live forever in through the annals of time. I had a dream career in the EWC. I won the Undisputed Championship on the biggest stage of all, in my home town and completed a grand slam on the same night. And even though my title reign was not as long as many others, I was able to say I was the top guy in the greatest wrestling company in the world, with the best talent in the world, even if only for a short period of time, and it is an accomplishment that meant more to me than anything I had ever done before... Until tonight. The best advice I can give todays crop of talent, many of you I know for a fact will be standing up here in the very same place I am right now. Don’t get wrapped up in wins and losses. In the end, no one will remember how many matches you won… or how many you lost… It is the stories we tell that will be remembered forever. I have so many memories from my time in the EWC that I will never forget, and to have this honor. To know that I will never be forgotten is an honor I can not describe. Not because I am some Messiah… but because of the stories that were told, and that is the legacy I will leave behind.
I can say with absolute certainty that I have finally had my last match after all these years, and I had it against a man I know will be standing up here when his career comes to an end. A man who showed me that there was a better way, a true hero in every sense of the word. It was an honor to have my final match against my closest friend here in the EWC, Ace King… a man who my career will forever be connected to. And while he was my closest friend, he was also my most greatest opponent inside the ring, and I can’t tell you how much it meant to me that he agreed to induct me into the Hall of Fame. Now, while I have without a doubt had my last match inside a wrestling ring, I don’t ever remember saying that you will never see me again… Because I just might show up with you least expect it.
I had a full year to figure out what I wanted to say tonight, and it took me a full year to find the words. That is how much this means to me. To everyone currently on the active roster, who might get discouraged, don’t ever quit, just keep doing what you do… No man should walk out on his own story. Bad times don’t last, but your stories do, and your biggest dreams can still come true! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Thank you for the memories!
Luke backs away from the podium, holding his Hall of Fame plaque in the air, as “Invincible” by Skillet plays him off the stage. He hugs his wife, and he throws up the "Too Sweet" hand gesture to the cameras, hugging his daughter and then waves goodbye as we go to commercial.
Luke: I want to start things out by introducing someone who has never before appeared on EWC TV. This is my daughter, Aundrea, who I wanted to introduce to all of you. Back from commercial, there is a standing ovation for the next presenter .. Mr. Deadshot himself .. Will Smith as he steps up to the stage to present the next award.
Smith: Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached that pivotal moment of the EWC Honors where we shine the spotlight on the best of the best in the company. Each and every competitor gives their all in and out of the ring to prove they are the best, and these nominees proved their point the strongest. That said, only one of them can be called the 2020 Wrestler of the Year, and the nominees are...

Smith: And the award goes to .. JORDAN SHARPE!
Jordan can't believe it. He is shocked as he takes slow steps up to the stage.
JFS: First the top of the EWC Top 100, now this? This is unbelievable. What a year 2020 was. Thank you so much for this. I have to acknowledge some people. I could not have done this without the beautiful Carley California. My pain in the ass niece Saidie. My tag-team partner Faith. My pals in 3C, Candy, Gabi Vee (the brat) and Robbie. Every fan that cheered me and even the ones that booed. For everyone that loves professional wrestling, I just tried to give you something you'll remember for the rest of your life. I always try to shock the world. Tonight, you've all shocked me. Thank you for everything.
This gets a very strong applause from the audience as Sharpe leaves the stage once again, followed by Smith as Tom and Colin return to the stage to wrap things up.
