FREEVIEW SHOW
Wolfe: G’day everyone, I’m Patricia Wolfe and we are in the beautiful Marvel Stadium here in Melbourne, Australia and how fitting of a venue for our EWC Rumble Freeview show brought to you by Marvel’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage EXCLUSIVELY in theaters October 1st! This is one of the biggest nights on the EWC calendar and we have all four of our awesome brands represented and someone is punching their ticket to WrestleFest TONIGHT! Not only that but we have all kinds of amazing matches for you, and our panel is gonna lay them all out for you and let you know our ‘expert’ predictions! You know it, you love it. And who are those experts? Well of course, right here on my left is the one and only, Nolan Castle. Can you feel the excitement in the air, Nolan!?
Castle: Ohh my goodness Patty, I can feel it all the way ‘down under!’ This is going to be an absolutely legendary pay-per-view and I can already tell these Aussies are chomping at the bit to see who’s going to outlast everyone in the Rumble match tonight. I cannot wait to see what goes down.
Wolfe: I feel the same way. Here to the right we of course have everyone’s favourite panel member, Dwight Snoot. Dwight, are you in a good mood tonight?
Snoot: I’m not, and you know why.
Wolfe: Of course I know why! Because sitting right next to him, and don’t adjust your television sets, we have our special guest panelist, and tonight we have a big one. That’s right, it's the EWC Undisputed Champion, Ace King! This is the first time we’ve gotten someone ON the card to be ON the panel! Thanks for dropping in, Ace!
The camera pans out to show the Undisputed Champion is, indeed, seated at the podium with his championship displayed before him, looking more relaxed than normal.
Ace King: A pleasure to be here, folks… Even with you, Dwight.
Snoot: This is disgusting.
Ace King: Nice to see you, too.
Wolfe: Well let’s get to the matches, shall we? We’re going to start off with a big match from Paramount as we see the North American Champion Marcus St John go one on one with the CW Broadcast Champion David Miller. And this is title-for-title, so someone’s walking away with all of the gold!
Castle: Miller has made the Broadcast title unbelievably prestigious in his time with it, and we saw on Paramount that he doesn’t wanna give it up but Chris Brock hasn’t given him a choice anymore. He has been on fire this season, and I think Miller is going to take that North American title and do exactly what he did with the Broadcast one. Make it incredibly prestigious. He’s my pick to win tonight.
Snoot: Ohh for the love of god. You’re acting as if Miller is the superior champion. The last time I checked, the top title on Paramount was the North American title and that belongs to Marcus. Miller is too poor to even BUY a win from St. John!
Ace King: You DO know Miller’s likely cleared a million this year, right? Not to mention he's basically been money all season... Anyway, I don’t think anyone would argue that David Miller is the more battle-tested of the two champions, and if you think about it, he really has nothing to lose tonight since he wouldn’t be leaving with the CW Broadcast Championship anyway. The pressure’s all on Marcus here in his first defense after his well-timed win to get into the Insanity Cage. That said, he’d be the first to tell you that pressure hardens diamonds, and he’s out to prove he’s a gem, so it’s going to be a stylistic battle between youthful exuberance and the bludgeoning veteran.
Wolfe: Alright well next on the card we have a ladder match for you for Brawl’s FX Broadcast Championship! Callie Clark will attempt to take down the new champion, Tyler Bradford.
Snoot: Don’t even start, Castle. I know you’re going to say both of these two have the wrong attitude, but it’s YOU that’s wrong.
Castle: I wasn’t even going to say anything, Snoot.
Snoot: Even all of you blind fools can see this will be the match of the night. Both of these Monday night superstars are great but I think Bradford takes the win on this night. He’s determined to keep that title. What do you think, ‘Champ?’
Castle: Sheesh you’re annoying, Snoot.
Ace King: He hasn’t been here long, but Tyler Bradford clearly showed he’s got something in taking that championship from Nightcall at Night of Champions… However, he’s also competing three times tonight with the Tag Team Championship and Rumble matches to come, so given how little he cares for his current championship, what will he do here knowing bigger opportunities are potentially on the horizon? That’s where Callie can slip in and get her first taste of gold, but I expect a solid match on both sides.
Snoot: What a lame answer.
Wolfe: Relax, Dwight. Next we have a highly anticipated match-up from Rampage, Asriel Buzzard will defend his EWC United States Championship against the former Champion, our Queen Melody Malone. This match has been in the works since the BORT finals, and then after Parabellum where Malone attacked Buzzard and claimed that the title would be going back around her waist!
Castle: I really don’t know how you could call a winner in this one. Asriel Buzzard is the BORT winner, he had an amazing run with the Broadcast title and now with the US title he’s got this huge challenge ahead of him with Melody. But is he focused enough to win this match? I’m not sure, because we all know he’s got a big Undisputed title opportunity coming up, and that match could be against someone at this very table. What do you think about this one, Ace?
Ace King: Well, it’s no secret that the United States Championship is something I hold close to my heart, and so I would be proud to see this match steal the show, but I know they both have much bigger aspirations. Melody’s development over the years has been nothing short of iconic, and I know she wants this back…
Ace taps the main plate of the Undisputed Championship sitting before him.
Ace King: ...But she’s got the Rumble to think about later tonight to get to that place, so how far is she willing to go to reclaim this championship? Meanwhile, Buzzard is effectively a buzzsaw who’s already locked in for an Undisputed shot in a few weeks’ time, but he’s had some bumps in the road lately, so this is really going to be a war of attrition.
Snoot: Melody is going to crush Buzzard, win the title, and whatever else she wants. This is Malone’s world and we’re just living in it. ALL HAIL OUR QUEEN!
Ace King: ...You can get off your knees any time, mate.
Wolfe: Moving over to the tag-team scene, we have the Paramount/Prime side of the Super 16 Tournament with Sabotage taking on the Southern Express in the finals of that bracket.
Castle: Bradford has how many matches tonight? Geez. Well if these two jerks are going to take down the Southern Express, they’re going to have to do a lot of work. The Express has over 400 days now as the champs and they don’t seem to be slowing down despite their age. If Sabotage takes the win, I’m almost certain it’ll be because of dirty tactics for sure.
Snoot: Dirty tactics? You think they need dirty tactics? Two younger, hungrier, more aggressive superstars come in and are on a fantastic roll and you have to put them down by saying they can only win by cheating. Ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourself, Castle. Southern Express finally goes down. TONIGHT.
Ace King: If they do, Eddie’s likely doing the heavy lifting with Bradford going into his second match of the night, which strategically, I think Bobby and Jimmy can exploit. It’s going to be a tight match either way, but regardless of who wins, Pabs and I will be waiting for them in a few weeks’ time.
Wolfe: That’s about as perfect a transition as we can get to the Four Corners of Pain match for the X-Division Championship, where Stitches will make his first defense against the aforementioned El Pablo. In this match there will be a container of weapons in each corner! What do we think about this match?
Ace King: I know Stitches and his drive better than most people, and I’m sure he’ll be motivated to inflict punishment, but if there’s anyone who can match the kind of chaos he brings to the table, it’s El Pablo, because even though he sees the world a bit differently than most, there’s an all-world competitor in there, so that’s going to be an absolute bloodbath.
Snoot: What a predictable answer from you, Ace. You really are a kiss ass for your little buddy aren’t you?
Castle: Would you be quiet, Snoot.
Snoot: I cannot wait to see Stitches standing over Ace King’s sidekick, holding his title up high while Pablo cries on the mat covered in his own blood and feces. It will be a great moment, won’t it?
Ace King: Have… Have you not had a friend in your life? I can understand how that could happen, but still... At any rate, El Pablo is his own man, he’ll be just fine.
Wolfe: Alright guys, let’s move past this and get even more personal, haha. SPEAKING of personal, it’s time for the biggest prize in EWC to be on the line, as we have an old rivalry renewed! It’s Prime’s Scorpio challenging the man beside us Ace King for the Undisputed Championship!
Snoot: As if I’m about to listen to this garbage jerk off fest about this guy any longer. This place couldn’t be any more biased. I’m out of here I can’t take it!
Snoot takes off his mic and slams it on the counter as he storms off the set! You can hear him yell ‘SCORPIO!’ from far off before the panel rolls their eyes and continues.
Castle: Ace, you’ve been on an incredible run as Undisputed Champion and I respect the hell out of you, man. Winning the Insanity Cage and successfully defending your championship is unbelievable. I didn’t think that could be done. If you cross Scorpio off the list here that’s gotta be the cherry on top. Any last words for that jerk?
Ace King: Honestly, Nolan? It’s almost at the point where there’s nothing left to say. There are no secrets between the two of us, but even though it’s in the shadow of the Rumble, this match has the potential to change the course of EWC’s history, because Scorpio winning would be an affront to everyone who’s stepped through these ropes since 1997, and I just can’t let that happen, because this organization, not to mention this championship, mean a great deal to me, and I’m not stopping until he hears ‘Ace of Spades’ in his nightmares for the rest of his life.
Wolfe: We’re all rooting for you here, Ace! That is going to be a fantastic match later on tonight and I know we’re all looking forward to seeing how it plays out. And now all that’s left is the EWC Rumble match, our main event! 40 Superstars in an over the top rope battle royal to determine who is going to WrestleFest in the main event for that Undisputed Championship! There are plenty of amazing superstars in this match, I don’t know how ANYONE could pick a winner!
Snoot: I’m back.
He stomps his way back in and slams himself down in the chair as Castle just shakes his head at him.
Snoot: What?
Castle: Anyways, there are a lot of heavy hitters in this match. I mean, could Stitches do it two years in a row? Melody Malone is in there, she has won this match before. You’ve got some former Undisputed Champs like Candy or Xavier Reid. We’ve got some people who are right at the cusp of greatness like Gabi Vee or Darius or David Miller. There are a lot of choices here. And a late draw can get you right in the mix for the win.
Snoot: Xavier Reid is my pick, or maybe Killjoy Ito. There are certain superstars who just have a killer instinct to do well in this match. Maybe Melody Malone, actually. I think she could win both her matches tonight.
Castle: I’m gonna throw a question to you, Ace. Who do you THINK will win and who do you WANT to win?
Ace King: I think it goes without saying that my dream match would be with my Day One, my ride-or-die, my dear friend El Pablo, but there are honestly so many different ways to look at this. It’s a hard enough match to win on its own, and seven of them are already competing earlier in the night, with this being Bradford’s third match. Now, I’m not counting any of those people out, just saying it amplifies the degree of difficulty. Last year, he was second in the Rumble, but he’d competed earlier in the night-
Snoot: Taking the X-Division Championship from you…
Ace King: Yes, he did, but the point is I made damn sure he didn’t walk out of that match unscathed, and in the end, Stitches was just a bit fresher, and that was the difference. This year, the situations are reversed if those two square off again, and you have to think Ito’s highly motivated after coming close at Uprising. Sharpe obviously falls into the same category after how last year ended and ditto with Reid, but going back to the multi-match people, Melody’s got the longest odds entering second, but it’s really hard to doubt the Queen and her motivations, and Miller’s made no secret of wanting to take the next step… But one name not many are talking about is the seasoned veteran, Pence Weatherlight.
Snoot: Oh-ho-ho-HOOOOOO! NOW I KNOW you out yo damn mind! GET THIS MAN A DRUG TEST!
Ace King: Hear me out on this one: Sure, people talk about the rust associated with being out of competition for so long, but with so many people in the ring at once, the Rumble might be the one place where you can be somewhat unassuming before making an impact when it counts, and while Pence is just coming back, he’s tangled with some of the best to ever do this, so the pressure won’t hit him as hard. Don’t be surprised if he turns in a really good performance tonight.
Castle: Those are some great choices champ.
Snoot: tHoSE aRe SoME GrEAt ChoICES cHamP … you sound like such a kiss ass, Castle. I hope whoever you pick gets thrown out on their head.
Wolfe: And with that, we are outta time! We have the EWC Rumble coming up for you NEXT, ladies and gentlemen so make sure you tune in you’re not going to want to miss this! For Dwight Snoot, Nolan Castle and Ace King, I’m Patricia Wolfe and-OH GOD!
The other panelists bail, but Ace is right in the line of fire as SCORPIO LUNGES ACROSS THE DESK FROM OUT OF NOWHERE, SMASHING THE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION’S FACE WITH HIS SHOWTIME BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP! The Undisputed Championship challenger rains shots down upon the Champion, though Ace eventually fights back, pushing Scorpio off him!
The two men start brawling feverishly on the set, with security trying to intervene by pulling them apart. However, it’s no use as Ace lunges back at Scorpio to resume the brawl; however, from behind, Creme de la Creme breaks through the security and smashes Ace across the back of the head with Vidal, Scorpio’s signature hairdryer! The blow is enough to send Ace staggering, and as he gets oriented… AGR OFF THE SET TO THE CONCRETE BELOW!
Ace is face-down on the floor below, while Scorpio puts the heel of his Louboutin into Ace’s spine as he raises his arms; Creme comes along and hands Scorpio both the Showtime Broadcast Championship and the Undisputed Championship, a wide-eyed smirk twisting across his face as medical personnel tend to the fallen Ace King.

Fireworks emit outside Marvel Stadium and then all around the ring while a fog machine covers the venue in a red, green, orange and blue haze! Fans stand up, pumping their fists and raising signs as the camera feed pans to each one of them. One last round of fireworks blast out now, and we turn our attention to Marcus Woo and Valentina Gomez.
Woo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Melbourne, Australia for one of EWC’s signature Pay-Per-Views, this is the eighteenth EWC Rumble! As always, next to me is the ever so wonderful, Valentina Gomez, and I am Marcus Woo, thank you for joining us
Gomez: I am so excited, Marcus, that I can hardly think straight! I am ready for a Rumble here tonight!
Woo: As am I! And I'm Marcus Woo, this is Valentina Gomez and we have one fantastic line-up of matches for you here tonight everyone including the aforementioned 40 person Rumble Match to determine WHO will be main eventing WrestleFest against the Undisputed Champion!
Gomez: This Australian crowd is absolutely ready for some EWC action, but we got a lot of other big matches on deck tonight, don't we Marcus!
Woo: That's right, an old rivalry is renewed as Scorpio has come for his opportunity at the Undisputed Championship as Prime's number one contender! Scorpio is the man who ended Ace's legendary 777 days as United States Champion and this time he's coming to try to take an even bigger prize from The Gambler! This is a match you do NOT want to miss!
Gomez: Not only that, but we've got some title matches in store for you too! Sabotage will try and end the historic Tag-Team Title reign of the Southern Express, Callie Clark challenges Tyler Bradford for the FX Broadcast Championship, El Pablo takes a crack at Stitches for the X-Division Championship and Melody Malone attempts to sit back on her throne and regain the United States Championship from Asriel Buzzard!
Woo: Not only that, but Paramount's two champions are going title-for-title, with North American Champion Marcus St John taking on CW Broadcast Champion David Miller! Valentina, this card is amazing! The entire EWC could change here TONIGHT!
"Coming Undone" by Korn begins to blast over the speakers in the stadium and the fans of Melbourne begin to chant and cheer
Woo: And it looks like we're going to kick things off with the man himself, President Mac!
President Mac makes his way down to the ring
Gomez: This is awesome, what a way to start the EWC Rumble Down Under! Think he's going to announce he's the surprise entrant?
Mac: Thank you for that warm welcome. I just wanted to come out here and say hello to all you wonderful fans. I am so appreciative that you are all here, supporting the EWC, supporting your favorite EWC Superstars and I hope we can put on one hell of a show for you. As you all know, next year is the EWC's twenty-fifth year anniversary. So we've made some changes in order to help us celebrate that a little bit.
I'm going to let you all in on two of those changes. The first has to do with Night of Champions XIX. While the Insanity Cage match will still remain the Main Event, the Undisputed Championship will not be on the line.
Instead, the EWC Undisputed Championship will be defended against whomever is the number one contender. The Main Event will feature every singles Champion in the EWC, everyone one of them but the Undisputed. The winner, books themselves a headline spot at WrestleFest later that year for the EWC Undisputed Championship.
You might be wondering, why the change? Well .. because at EWC Rumble XIX, the EWC Undisputed Championship will be on the line. That's right, the EWC Champion will not only enter the Rumble, but the Championship will be on the line. Its a special throwback and call back to the way we used to do things back in the early days of the EWC. Those are just two special changes, there will be plenty more to come. Now I've taken up enough of your time, please, enjoy the show and again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the support over the years. We appreciate you all very much.
Mac drops the mic to a huge pop from the fans
Woo: Well, we said the entire EWC could change here tonight .. I'd say that just started things off! Unbelievable!
Gomez: It's time for our first match ladies and gentlemen, and it's gonna be David Miller vs Marcus St John, right after this word from EWC TV!
The fans continue to chant and cheer as we fade to a brief word from EWCTV.

Marcu$ $t. John sits in the locker room and quietly as the camera pans in to his face. He’s staring down at the North American Championship knowing that he has a big night and tall task ahead of him. The first challenge is David Miller, a man who he’s unsuccessfully tried to beat twice this year and the second was his first ever Rumble. He looks up towards the camera and begins talking.
Marcu$ $t. John: Miller, you scream for respect over and over and over again. You’ve had one hell of a run this year and you’re still stuck on the same thing. But me? I’ve been disrespected every step of the way no matter how I’ve done it and when I’ve done it. I captured this title in a year’s time in the EWC but I’m not going to scream for respect like you, I’m going to go out and earn it. No, I’m going to go out and take it! You can call yourself the king, but the only name I care about being called leaving here tonight is champ!
He begins to tape his wrists up and writes on each one the name of the twins, Isamu and Naysa. He then draws hearts under each name. A lot seems to be on his mind as it seems the pressure has him a little uneasy. He looks back at the camera.
Marcu$ $t. John: The man you faced before was completely different. The man now has something more to fight for, a higher purpose. Don’t mistake my recent actions as being some goody 2 shoes either though because I’m willing to do what needs to be done to walk out of that ring as the victor tonight. You see I am hungry, I am desperate, I know the odds are against me. I know the company I work for would rather have someone else hold this title. Remember, I’m not one of the pillars of Paramount. Now I won’t be satisfied until I knock each of those pillars down. Then I won’t have to scream about respect like you, I’ll actually have it. I hope you're ready for war, no I hope you're ready for ruin. I want you to leave Australia with nothing.
He hears a knock at the door and the person says “It’s time”. He grabs the title and puts it around his waist before walking out of the locker room to make his entrance as we cut back to ringside...
We return to ringside where Marcus Woo and Valentina Gomez are standing by on commentary!
Woo: And here we go, folks! Kicking off the in-ring action at the Rumble Down Under with a HUGE match, as champions collide to see who will take it all! Will we see David Miller take the next step and become North American Champion, or will the Young Mogul rain on his parade and take the CW Broadcast Champion!
Gomez: It's been a war of words between these two, and now those words become actions!
Dobrev: The following match is a Title for Title, Winner Take All Match for both the CW Broadcast Championship and the EWC North American Championship! Joining us first, from Long Beach, CA, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the CW Broadcast Champion ... DAVID MILLER!
The lights of the Marvel Stadium fall low without warning. Seconds pass in silence, before a single tone bleeds through the speakers, leading into a hard, pounding cadence that echoes throughout the stadium. Black and white video-clips begin to play in time with the beat, showing Miller shadow boxing in an empty ring, competing in past matches, or glaring into the camera from various angles. As the music reaches a raucous crescendo, becoming the metal chords of Damnation Plan's “Judgement Day,” the lights return in violent, pulsating strobes, driving the crowd into a frenzy as video clips of Miller play in a smash cut montage on the X-Tron. David Miller marches out from behind the curtain with his head bowed, and fists clenched, the CW Broadcast Championship strapped around his waist. Coming to a stop at the center of the stage, he lifts his head and stares down at the ring with an intense, singular focus. Giving a sudden twist to pop the bones in his neck, he starts down the ramp at a slow, methodical pace.
Reaching the floor, Miller stalks the inside of the guardrail and slowly circles around to the ring steps, pausing and rolling the joints in his shoulders loose while bouncing from one foot to the other in mental preparation. Suddenly exploding into movement, he charges up the steps onto the apron and ducks between the ropes, immediately crossing to the far corner and pulling himself up onto the second buckle, staring down into the ravenous fans below. Miller slowly unstraps the title and raises it overhead with a calm finality, a cold smile forming beneath his hood before he roars out into the crowd and pounds his free hand against his chest. Stepping down to the canvas, he turns and folds the straps beneath the plate before handing the belt to the official. Reaching back, he peels off his jacket and casts it aside, his eyes locked on the entrance way with a hard stare.
Dobrev: And his opponent, from Silicon Valley, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the Young Mogul and the EWC North American Champion ... MARCU$ $T. JOHN!
"Fast Lane" blasts through the stadium by Bad Meets Evil. A Maybach drives up through the entrance ramp. A chauffeur gets out of the vehicle and opens the back door. Marcu$ gets out on the entrance stage and money starts falling down from the sky with his face on 100 dollar bills as green laser lights illuminate the arena. As the money shower stops, Marcu$ walks down the ramp with a smug look on his face.
He stops right before he gets to the ring and basks in the boos that he is getting from the crowd and waves his hands around as to tell them to keep it going and get louder. He jumps up on the apron and wipes his feet before he enters the ring and poses in the middle of the ring as a light shines a hundred dollar bill in the center of the ring with his face on it.
Pyros hits as "Fast Lane" by Bad Meets Evil ends.
Woo: Both champions staring each other down as we get ready for this huge title for title match!
DING DING DING
The bell rings and Miller goes for the first strike, chopping Marcu$ across the chest with a sickening clap! Marcu$ quickly returns the favor, smacking Miller's pec with a force that can be felt all around the arena! This begins a series of chops from both men, to the point of what sounds like "yay/boo" chants from the crowd until Miller ends the games with a quick boot to the gut, then whips Marcu$ into a corner. Miller charges Marcu$ and crumples him into the corner with a clothesline, then pushes Marcu$ down to the mat with multiple kicks to the midsection, stomping mudholes into the North American champion! M$J grimaces with each boot to the midsection as Miller just sneers, making his point known!
Miller then picks Marcu$ up and attempts to whip him, but Marcu$ counters, tossing Miller into the ropes. Using the momentum to his advantage, Miller springboards off the ropes and tries landing a dropkick, but Marcu$ sidesteps the attack, letting Miller fall face first onto the mat! Marcu$ can sense his opportunity and wastes no time here, grabbing Miller by the legs to apply a Boston crab! Marcu$ applies pressure in the center of the ring while Miller is wincing in pain, scratching and clawing his way toward the bottom rope to escape!
Woo: The action's been tough in the early going, but especially for Miller!
Gomez: He's gotta' get to that rope if he wants to survive this!
Miller manages to grab the ropes and uses his strength to pull himself to the outside, breaking the hold! Marcu$ quickly slides to the outside to pursue the CW Broadcast Champion, but Miller hits a drop toe hold onto Marcus, making the North American Champion fall face first into the ring post! Miller gets on the attack now and forces Marcu$'s face against the post, raining numerous shots down onto his head before tossing him back into the ring! Miller gives Marcu$ no time to recover as he hoists the Young Mogul up from the mat with a gut wrench and powerbombs him onto the center of the ring, following up with a cover! COULD THIS BE IT?
ONE!
TW-
Kickout! Marcu$ rolls away from Miller but Miller catches up, only for Marcu$ to grab Miller by the tights, pulling him forward and making Miller fall throat first to the top rope! The impact sends Miller stumbling back but then Marcu$ rolls him up! IT'S THE MOST DANGEROUS MANEUVER IN PRO WRESTLING, BUT DOES IT SPELL THE END OF DAVID MILLER'S REIGN!?
ONE!
T-
Kickout! Marcu$ wastes no time, refusing to let up when so much is on the line in tonight's contest as he picks Miller up to his feet...only for Miller to land a strong right hand smack dab into Marcu$'s gut, followed by a stiff back elbow to the kidney, and before Marcus falls, Miller plants him with a snap DDT for good measure, quickly following up with a cover!

Woo: Miller nearly had it won there, but the Young Mogul has a lot of fight left in him!
Gomez: Miller does NOT look pleased about that though, Marcus!
Miller gets to his feet and drags Marcu$ to the corner, hoisting him up top. Miller climbs to the top and sets Marcu$ up for a super-plex, but as the two men start to fall, Marcu$ shifts his weight, twisting himself around, and crashing Miller face first into his boot with the Eat Defeat! This could be the breakthrough the Young Mogul needs to pick up the win as Marcu$ covers Miller!

THRE-
MILLER GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE! Marcu$ looks to the referee, arguing it was three, but the ref assures it was broken beforehand! Marcu$ drags Miller to the center of the ring, eager to put this match--and Miller's reign as champion--to bed once and for all as he locks in the Million Dollar Dream!! Miller struggles and attempts to break the hold, but Marcu$ holds on tight! Miller starts to fade as Marcus screams at him to tap, but Miller gets a second wind, uses all of his strength, and manages to counter the hold into a sidewalk slam! Both men lay in the middle of the ring exhausted!
Woo: The heat of battle is really getting to both these men!
Gomez: One of them is bound to catch a second wind!
Both men slowly get to their feet, but a sudden wave of energy seems to strike them at the same time as they rush at each other, Marcu$ flying at Miller with the Money Stomp … but Miller catches Marcu$ on his shoulder! Miller has the fellow champ right where he wants him as he plants M$J suddenly with The Tragic Truth in the center of the ring! WHAT A MANEUVER BY MILLER! Dobrev: And your winner, via pinfall, and NEW EWC NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION... DAVID MILLER!
Miller gets to his feet, still staring at $t. John, ensuring that he has indeed put him away. The ref raises Miller's arm in victory, presenting him with both championships as we cut to Marcus and Valentina at commentary.
Woo: What a hard-hitting opening contest! Miller really hit a second gear to take the fight to Marcu$ here tonight, and has won it all in the process!
Gomez: At some point you could tell that Marcu$ was starting to get under his skin, and David was not here for any of it! Sometimes it pays to get the job done as efficiently as possible! Months of making a statement to the rest of Paramount has paid off for Miller here tonight, for he can now say that no one could take the CW Broadcast Championship AWAY from him during his reign as the first-ever champ!
Woo: What an incredible effort by both competitors tonight, but with Miller stepping up and winning the North American Championship tonight, who will step up to face him at WrestleFest...and who will become the NEW CW Broadcast Champion upon its vacancy? Be sure to catch Paramount when they head to Monterrey, Mexico on October 6th!
Gomez: Speaking of Broadcast Championships, Marcus, we have the matter of the FX Broadcast Championship coming up next! We know that Darius is set to face the champ when Brawl heads to Madrid, but TONIGHT we see who can climb the ladder of success to be the champ!
We get a video package highlighting the history of the FX Broadcast Championship, featuring the first two titleholders and the most recent champion Tyler Bradford, an upstart with impressive wins upon his debut for the red brand. Standing in his way? Callie Clark, who looks to show that her change in attitude bears fruit in the form of a successful win to take away the title. As the package ends, we cut back to...
We return to ringside where we are preparing for the next match, the FX Broadcast Championship match between Callie Clark and the champion, Tyler Bradford.
Woo: Now it is time for Tyler Bradford's first real test as champion as he squares off against Callie Clark.
Gomez: Callie Clark won an impressive contenders match on Brawl, knocking off Ruby Clifton.
Dobrev: The following match is a Ladder Match for the FX Broadcast Championship. Joining us first, from New York, New York, weighing in at 115 pounds ... CALLIE CLARK!
A red carpet is rolled out going from the stage to the bottom of the ramp, and Bad Reputation hits. Callie comes out with Tori walking out behind her, and strikes a pose as pyro goes off behind her. Callie's paparazzi takes pictures of her as she walks down the ramp, taunting the fans as she goes. As she reaches ringside, Tori goes ahead of Callie, holding open the ropes so Callie can step through, and walk to the middle of the ring, where she strikes a pose again while winking at the camera. She then goes to her corner as the music cuts.
Dobrev: And her opponent, from Miami Beach, Florida, weighing in at 223 pounds and being accompanied by Eddie Dozier ... he is the FX Broadcast Champion... TYLER BRADFORD!
"Iconic" by Jaxon Gamble plays. The crowd immediately begins to boo. Tyler Bradford steps out from the back and stands at the top of the stage. Eddie Dozier follows behind, well-dressed in a navy blue suit. Dozier has the FX Broadcast Championship slung comfortably over his shoulder as if he were the actual Champion. Bradford and Dozier slowly make their way down the ramp, talking trash to all of the fans before they finally arrive at ringside. Bradford climbs up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and raises his arms into the air. The crowd boos loudly and he just smirks smugly. Dozier lifts the FX Broadcast Championship high into the air from the floor below Bradford. Bradford descends the turnbuckle and stands waiting for the match to begin.
Woo: Let's get this match underway.
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings Tyler Bradford attempts to exit the ring to grab a ladder, Callie Clark sees this and is quick to pounce upon Tyler Bradford before he can exit the ring. Callie Clark lays in a few hard blows to Tyler Bradford's back as he sits halfway through the top and middle rope. Callie Clark grabs Tyler Bradford by the back of the head and pulls him back into the ring. 'Not so fast!' Callie Clark screams at Tyler Bradford before grabbing him by the back of the head and pulling him up to his feet. Callie Clark scoops up Tyler Bradford and slams him back down with a Body Slam before charging towards the ropes, bouncing off of the ropes and connecting with a vicious kick to a now seated Tyler Bradford's sternum. Tyler Bradford winces as Callie Clark once again lifts Tyler Bradford to his feet. Callie Clark attempts to lock in a headlock but Tyler Bradford shoves her forward before charging at Callie Clark with a vicious clothesline to the back of her head. Callie Clark goes down but not before Tyler Bradford picks her back up and leans her against the ropes. Tyler Bradford charges at Callie Clark and spears her through the top and middle rope as both competitors crash to the floor below.
Woo: Look at the chaos, Valentina! Champ and challenger are down and out!
Gomez: You gotta' wonder who will be the first one up to take advantage of this, Marcus!
Tyler Bradford is first to his feet and does as he tried to do earlier, grab a ladder. Tyler Bradford disassembles the ladder and then shoves the top end of it into the abdomen of Callie Clark who had slowly started to get to her feet. Tyler Bradford does it once more, shoving the ladder through Callie Clark's abdominal region so that she is forced into the nearby edge of the apron, back-first. Callie Clark doubles over as Tyler Bradford slides the ladder back into the ring before sliding in himself. With Callie Clark temporarily down, Tyler Bradford sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and slowly begins to climb to retrieve the FX Broadcast Championship. Tyler Bradford is about halfway up before Callie Clark appears on the other side. Callie Clark sprints up the ladder and starts throwing hard strikes in the direction of Tyler Bradford. Realizing he is caught, Tyler Bradford returns the strikes. The back-and-forth strikes continue until Callie Clark grabs Tyler Bradford by the back of the head and jumps off of the ladder, delivering a variation of the X-Factor to Tyler Bradford. Callie Clark slowly gets back to her feet and starts to climb the ladder once again. She is much slower to climb this time around and this gives Tyler Bradford time to get to his feet. Tyler Bradford grabs Callie Clark by the waist and attempts to Powerbomb her off of the ladder. Callie Clark holds on for dear life until she can hold on no longer and takes a ride right into the canvas.
Woo: Tyler now taking full control of this situation!
Gomez: Callie seems to be getting absolutely wrecked!
Callie Clark slides out of the ring where she is met by her manager/body guard Tori Taylor. Tori Taylor tries to get Callie Clark to shake off the impact of the Powerbomb before quickly realizing it is futile and throwing her back into the ring. Tyler Bradford, who had slowly got back to his feet after toppling over from the impact of the Powerbomb, charges at Callie Clark to the dismay of Tori Taylor who had just fed her to him. Tyler Bradford lifts Callie Clark to her feet and attempts to charge Callie Clark into the nearby ladder, Callie Clark spins through at the last second and charges Tyler Bradford into the ladder. Upon impact, blood begins to pour from a gash on Tyler Bradford's forehead. Callie Clark smiles, seeing this, and mounts Tyler Bradford before laying in multiple strikes directly to Tyler Bradford's forehead. Callie Clark stands to her feet and looks at her fist, which is covered in Tyler Bradford's blood. 'How's it feel to bleed, rich boy!' Callie Clark screams right into the face of Tyler Bradford. Tyler Bradford quickly lunges forward and rakes the eyes of Callie Clark, who stumbles back towards the ladder. Tyler Bradford gingerly gets back to his feet before charging at the temporarily blind Callie Clark, spearing her into, and through the ladder as the ladder gives way and topples down upon the both of them.
Woo: Oh my! Things just took a turn for the worse here!
Gomez: This ain't good at all, Marcus!
Neither competitor moves as the fallen ladder lies on top of them. Realizing this, Tori Taylor enters into the ring and lifts the ladder up off of Callie Clark and Tyler Bradford. Tory Taylor then sets the ladder back up into the middle of the ring and lifts Callie Clark to her feet. Tori Taylor helps Callie Clark to climb the ladder but she is climbing real slow. Tori Taylor places Callie Clark on her shoulders and begins to climb the ladder herself, hoisting Callie Clark higher and higher. Suddenly, out of nowhere Eddie Dozier is there to smash a chair into the back of Tori Taylor, she doesn't topple, nor does she drop Callie Clark, but she does stop moving. Eddie Dozier lifts Tyler Bradford to his feet and helps him to climb the ladder, climbing up behind him to ensure he doesn't topple off. Tyler Bradford and Eddie Dozier meet Callie Clark and Tori Taylor halfway up and all four start to brawl. Callie Clark goes for a wild swing at Tyler Bradford but he ducks under, Tyler Bradford grabs Callie Clark from the back of her head and bounces her head on one of the rungs of the ladder. Callie Clark topples off. Tori Taylor throws a wild arm towards Tyler Bradford, connecting hard to the side of his head. Tyler Bradford topples off. Tori Taylor and Eddie Dozier brawl on top of the ladder now as the two have climbed to the top. Eddie Dozier gets the upper hand by raking Tori Taylor's eyes and then bounces her face upon the top of the ladder. Instantly blood starts to pour from the nose of Tori Taylor. With a hand thrust to Tori Taylor's chest, Eddie Dozier sends Tori Taylor flying off of the ladder and down to the canvas. Callie Clark is back to her feet now and grabs Eddie Dozier, pulling him off of the ladder and into a modified version of the Lights Out (Small Package Driver). With no one left in sight, Callie Clark starts to climb the ladder once again.
Woo: Here we go, this could be Callie's chance to take it all!
Callie Clark continues to climb up the ladder until she is near the top. Callie Clark looks back down to check on Tyler Bradford only to realize he is stirring. With a decision to make, Callie Clark decides to turn her attention towards Tyler Bradford rather than the championship. Callie Clark dives off of the ladder, attempting to go for the Calliesault, but Tyler Bradford moves out of the way at the last minute only for Callie Clark to come crashing down to the mat below. Tyler Bradford gingerly gets back to his feet and grabs Callie Clark before throwing her up and over the top rope. Tyler Bradford slides out of the ring and starts to clear the nearby announce table. Once the table is clear Tyler Bradford picks up Callie Clark. Somehow, Callie Clark manages to muster the strength to shove Tyler Bradford into the corner of the announce table. Callie Clark does it again, and again, before backing up a few feet. Callie Clark charges towards Tyler Bradford only for Tyler Bradford to lift her up and slams her through the announce table with a modified Spinebuster. Callie Clark is buried within the rubble of the announce table. Tyler Bradford is slow to get to his feet but ends up doing so before sliding back into the ring. Tyler Bradford stands to his feet and approaches the ladder before he slowly starts to climb. It takes seemingly forever but Tyler Bradford eventually reaches the top of the ladder, reaches upwards and retrieves the FX Broadcast Championship, thus, winning the match.
DING DING DING
Dobrev: And your winner, and still FX Broadcast Champion TYLER BRADFORD!
Tyler Bradford stands on top of the ladder holding the FX Broadcast Championship before he slides down the rungs of the ladder. Tyler Bradford shoves the ladder to one side and celebrates in the ring. Eddie Dozier returns to the ring and holds up Tyler Bradford's arm, holding a piece of the championship as if it were his own.
Woo: Tyler Bradford has done it, he has successfully defended against Callie Clark.
Gomez: Callie Clark put up an impressive effort but it wasn't enough on this night.
Woo: With Tyler taking the win and the title tonight, he now faces Darius at Brawl when they head to Madrid!
Gomez: It's gonna be a violent battle, but up next we have another one in the works as Melody Malone looks to regain her title...but can she topple a very game Asriel Buzzard?
Before we get to that however, we know there's a commotion stirring at the parking lot ...
The camera cuts to the parking garage of the Marvel Stadium where we see Xavier Reid getting out of his rental car. He walks to the back of the car and the trunk is popped open. ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love gets out of the car and opens the back door and pulls out his sports coat that is still on the hanger. Xavier pulls out his bag with his wrestling gear and then Tommy’s suitcase and closes the trunk. The pair start to walk towards the door when a man in a EWC Cap, a pair of big black sunglasses and a “It’s REID” t-shirt comes walking towards them. Xavier smiles.
Reid: Nice shirt buddy…
The man smiles and nods, eyes to the ground, shrugging as an obvious rasp cracks in his voice.
Staffer: Ah, geez. Been a big fan of yours since the FSW days, M-mister Reid…
Xavier nods and the man.
Reid: Those were some good days…
But Tommy shakes his head.
Love: Those were terrible days Xavier, you were making jack shit money, wrestling as a ‘future star’ and I wasn’t there…
The staffer nods, seeming to generally agree with what Tommy has to say.
Staffer: I guess that was a time b-before Reid really broke out of his shell. Might I say, Tommy… that’s a really nice jacket. Would you mind if I helped with it?
Tommy looks at his jacket and then at the man.
Love: DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS JACKET COSTS? THE HISTORY OF THIS JACKET? I wore this jacket back in 87 when the Express won the North Carolina Tag Team Championship Battle Royal, to become the 11 time North Carolina Tag Team Champions and I brought it here tonight for good luck because tonight Xavier here is stepping into the ring with 39 other EWC “stars” and he’s walking out the 2021 Rumble Winner...so NO, you may not help me with this jacket…
The staffer retreats into himself as Tommy lays into them, bellowing in the poor guy’s face and poking him in the chest. The staffer nods and nods with hands up high as ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ goes on and on. When Tommy Love finishes with the defeated staffer, who appears to be even more shaken than when he started, Reid chimes in.
Reid: Tommy, easy man...he’s just trying to help by doing his job…
Love: Then give him your bags…
Reid: Yeah no...sorry man, it’s not personal but I don’t trust anyone with my gear after some fuck took a shit in my wrestling boots but I’ll tell you what, since you want to help so badly here…
Xavier hands the man Tommy’s suitcase.
Reid: Since Tommy can’t carry his jacket and his own suitcase would you mind taking this and following us to the locker room…
Xavier hands the man the handle and he quickly takes it as Tommy objects.
Love: You don’t trust him with your stuff but are fine handing over mine?
Reid: Perfectly fine to be honest with you…you work for me, not the other way around Tommy...
Xavier starts to walk towards the building as Tommy follows and the staffer brings up the rear.
Love: I’m just saying, I have some valuable stuff in that bag and a shit ton of singles for the titty bar after the Rumble…
Staffer: I’ve only ever heard good things about Goldfinger, M-mister Love.
Xavier walks into the stadium and is pointed in the direction of his locker room.
Love: Goldfingers you say...do they let you finger-bang the girls in the VIP?
Staffer: Well I-I’m not the man with the singles, sir, I just work here. But I do know it’s off Lonsdale. Are you familiar with the area?
Tommy shakes his head no.
Love: I’ll UBER there…
Xavier walks into the locker room and heads towards his locker as Tommy points to the bench as he hangs his jacket on the back of the door. The jacket flutters as the staffer walks by, gently placing the suitcase on a nearby bench.
Love: Put my shit over on the bench...Xavier I’m a little short on tip money…
Reid: You just said you had a shit ton of singles…
Love: Damn it…
Tommy reaches into his pocket and pulls out a single dollar and hands it to the man.
Love: Thanks, here...now see your way out…
Staffer: As you wish, sir. Good luck tonight, Reidy Boy.
The staffer quickly retreats from the room as Xavier does a double take and looks at where the staffer was standing. Xavier quickly crosses the room and opens the door and there laying on the ground are the hat and shades. He sniffs the air and closes the door, sniffing the jacket and starts to gag as Tommy walks over…
Love: What the hell is wrong with yo…
But Tommy cuts himself off as he starts to smell something foul coming from his jacket. He pulls the pocket open and about throws up.
Love: IS THAT KANGAROO SHIT??? IS THAT KANGAROO SHIT IN MY PRICELESS JACKET POCKET!!!!
Xavier grabs the jacket and tosses it out of the locker room and closed the door behind him…
Reid: Flip...FUCKING FLIP!!!!
The champ is absolutely livid as we cut back to ringside!
We see the announcers at the commentary position
Woo: While he flips out, we fight in Australia for the United States Championship.
Gomez: Melody Malone may call herself 'Queen' but right now the 'throne' is occupied by Asriel Buzzard and he's not going to hand it over. We're going to have a fight here tonight.
Dobrev: The following match is for the United States Championship! Joining us first, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 145 pounds ... MELODY MALONE
The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish begin to play over the P.A. system.
Bite my tongue bide my time
Wearing a warning sign
Wait till the world is mine
Visions I vandalize
Cold in my kingdom size
Fell for these ocean eyes
As the chorus hits, a bright flash of pyro explodes from the base of the X-Tron and Melody Malone stands on the stage, flanked by her personal retainer Rory Hyland. Melody stands with a crown atop her head as a spotlight follows them down to the ring.
Dobrev: The following match is for the United States Championship! Joining us first she is THE QUEEN OF THE EWC, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 145 pounds ... MELODY MALONE
You should see me in a crown
I'm gonna run this nothing town
Watch me make 'em bow
One by one by one
One by one by
Rory climbs onto the apron first, holding the ropes open as Melody climbs the stairs and steps through with her chin held up to keep the crown atop her head. She gives the crowd a sarcastic smile as they boo, and she gingerly removes the crown from her head and hands it off to Rory as he exits.
You should see me in a crown
Your silence is my favorite sound
Watch me make 'em bow
One by one by one
One by one by one
The lights come back up to full brightness, and Melody has her gloves tugged into place as she rakes her hair back and prepares for her opponent.
Dobrev: And her opponent, from Hill City, Kansas, weighing in at 196 pounds ... ASRIEL BUZZARD
“IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE?”
As the first notes of Machine Head pound through the arena, images of the Great Plains appear on the tron, mixed with pictures of crosses and churches. Spotlights flash around the arena but focus on the stage as the drums and heavier riff starts and Asriel Buzzard appears through the curtain with the United States Championship around his waist.
“COME ON!”
He stands at the top of the ramp, eyes closed and fists clenched in front of his chest for a few seconds. After opening his eyes, he starts to march to the ring, glaring at the fans putting their hands out over the barrier. He circles the ring twice after arriving at ringside.
“THE PARANOIA, DROPS ME TO MY KNEES”
Asriel walks up the ring steps, dashes along the apron and climbs to the top rope.
“CAUSE NO FLAG CAN MEAN BRAVERY WHEN BLOODIED BY SLAVERY, THE REBEL, A DEVIL, DISGUISED AS A SAVIOR”
On the top rope, Asriel holds his arms aloft then brings them to his chest where he holds them together briefly before leaping down into the ring and removing his jacket.
DING DING DING
Malone and Buzzard stare at each other for a few moments after the bell rings. The two finally begin their dance, Buzzard goes for a single leg but Malone accelerates into it and delivers a knee to Buzzard’s face. Buzzard stumbles back but Malone clasps her fingers together behind his head and goes for another knee. Buzzard this time is able to get a hand up to block, and manages to catch Malone’s knee. Malone tries to pull her leg away, but Buzzard is able to pull his head up and out of Malone’s grasp. The Queen now on one leg fires off an Enziguri which Buzzard ducks.
Gomez: A quick pace to start this one but can they keep it up?
The two scramble to their feet again. Buzzard comes in on Malone, he feints to his left and manages to swing with a spinning backfist. Malone ducks under and heads to the ropes. She comes back across the ring. Buzzard takes a swing with a lariat and Malone ducks under and running to the far ropes. Buzzard takes off towards the other ropes after missing with the clothesline and the two meet in the middle. Malone tries to plant and hit Buzzard with a kick to the face, but Buzzard smashes her plant leg with a low drop kick.
Malone and Buzzard are both quick to their feet, Malone smashes Buzzard with a forearm across the mouth. Buzzard powers through the pain and goes to slide underneath Malone with a leg sweep. Malone jumps the sweep and delivers a vicious roundhouse kick to the side of Buzzard’s head. She pulls a dazed Buzzard to the ropes and leaves his head sticking through the middle rope. Malone slingshots herself over the top rope and crashes down on his neck with a leg drop.
Woo: Big Legdrop there. So much air there I wonder if she's any relation to Karl Malone
Malone takes a moment turning and mocking Buzzard to the crowd by making a choking face. Buzzard is in the ring making the exact same face while he kicks his legs trying to get air back into his system. Malone hops up on the apron and begins calling for Buzzard to get to his feet. Malone springboards off the top rope, but Buzzard is able to kip up to his feet and catch her mid-air with ‘The Redeemer’ super kick. Malone crashes to the mat and Buzzard falls over on top of her. He barely manages to hook the leg while holding his own neck.
ONE…
TWO…
Malone kicks out.
Gomez: Big kick out there but Buzzard looks as equally dazed
Buzzard rolls off and begins to drag himself up in the corner while Malone begins to do the same from the other side. Malone claws her way to sitting up leaning against the second turnbuckle. Buzzard goes to run at her but Rory grabs his leg. The ref spins and misses Rory’s full involvement, but he’s seen enough!
Gomez: And the referee is tossing Rory out of here.
Woo: Isn't that Melody's job?
Gomez: You always have to bring the tone down don't you?
Malone takes the distraction and runs in at Buzzard, he hears the crowd shouting and manages to step to the side just in time. Letting Malone crash into the corner. Before Malone can even turn around Buzzard begins firing away with blows. Right hook to the kidney, followed by a kick to the back of her left knee. Malone is down on one knee and he smashes her head into the turnbuckle, followed up with kicking her as hard as he can in the thigh. Malone finally manages to turn just as Buzzard runs in and connects with a vicious knee to the side of The Queen’s head.
Woo: Buzzard seems to have a found a really mean streak here. He caught her so hard with that knee she'll be seeing two of him.
Gomez: What a frightening prospect.
Buzzard fires off a series of boots before the referee finally gets involved and pulls him away from Malone. Malone begins to drag herself to her feet. The referee comes over and checks on Malone, making sure she’s alright. Buzzard finally free of the official comes running into the corner but Malone manages to duck away from Buzzard and he vaults himself over the ropes and lands on the apron. Malone approaches trying for a superkick to Buzzard from the outside but Buzzard side steps it and hangs Malone up onto the top rope.
He throws a stiff right hand across Malone’s jaw sending her reeling and the rest of the way onto the apron. Malone fires back with a right hand of her own. Once again Buzzard fires back, this time hitting the forearm and following it up with a kick to the stomach Malone doubles over. Buzzard hooks her arms, pulls her up and suplexes Malone off of the apron!
Woo: What a move!
Gomez: My back hurts looking at that
ONE…
The ref begins his count as Buzzard rolls to the outside. He exposes the concrete floor.
TWO…
Asriel pulls Malone to her feet, Malone weakly tries to chop him across the chest but Buzzard hammers her back with a right hand to the stomach. Malone doubles over and Buzzard pulls her up and plants her with a piledriver to the exposed concrete!
THREE…!
Buzzard gets to his feet and picks up a busted open Malone like a baby and placing her on the apron. He rolls her into the ring to break the count. Buzzard hops up onto the apron, and carefully climbs to the top rope. Buzzard leaps off and hits his shooting star press.
Woo: That has GOT to be it!
Buzzard places his hands on Malone’s midsection and goes for the pinfall.
ONE…
TWO…
Buzzard gets up off Malone, stopping the pinfall as The Queen reflexively kicks out anyway. Asriel smiles as he picks up the limp Malone and puts her up into the Tree of Woe position on the turnbuckles. He gives her a few kicks to the midsection and a running knee to the stomach. He makes sure her feet are locked on before he drops to the mat and looks into Malone’s eyes. Buzzard starts laughing at her.
Gomez: No jokes about being hung!
Woo: What? I was just going to say she's just hanging out
Malone begins to get her bearings and wipes the blood away from her face. Finally noticing Asriel staring and laughing at her. Malone, upside down, stuck in a tree of woe defiantly stares back at Buzzard. She pulls her bloody hand up to her face and licks the blood off of her fingers.
Gomez: When you come at the Queen you better not miss, it takes a lot to keep her down.
Woo: Damn straight!
Buzzard is enraged and jumps to his feet and begins laying stomps into Malone’s midsection and stomach. Malone crumples out of the tree of woe into the corner. Buzzard fires away with lefts and rights as Malone curls up to try to limit the punishment she receives. The referee tries to pull Buzzard away but he shoves him off. Finally on the second attempt the referee is able to get Buzzard to back off with the threat of a disqualification.
The referee checks on Malone again, but Buzzard comes over and doesn’t let him finish while pulling Malone to her feet. Buzzard hits Malone with a snap suplex and floats over, lifting her to her feet. He picks her up and drives The Queen into his knee with a brutal backbreaker. Buzzard goes for a pin on the bloodied Malone.
ONE…
TWO…
….
KICKOUT!
Malone kicks out and Buzzard immediately tries to pull her to her feet again. This time Malone is able to hook a leg and trip Buzzard. Buzzard lands on his stomach and Malone is quick to lock in her Argentine Leg Breaker.
Gomez: He needs to get to the ropes quick or this may be over
Buzzard shouts out in pain and begins flailing for the ropes. Malone realizes how close Asriel is to the ropes and manages to drag him back about a step before almost collapsing to one knee. She stands back up and really wrenches the leg. Buzzard screams out in pain and looks like he’s about to tap.
Woo: it may be a matter of time before he's tapping like Sammy Davis on high speed
Buzzard grits through it and begins to drag himself and Malone towards the bottom rope, he claws back the step The Queen had taken towards the middle. Malone digs deep and pulls harder on the leg while Buzzard cries out. Buzzard bites his own hand and dives towards the rope, managing to barely get his left middle finger across the rope.
Gomez: He's got the ropes but it Queen Melody doesn't release the hold soon, she'll be disqualified!
With the blood running down her face, Malone keeps The Queen’s Grace locked in while Buzzard screams and flails. She yanks on the leg across her neck one last time as the referee gets to a four count and Malone finally drops the hold. She collapses to the mat, exhausted from trying to make Buzzard submit. Buzzard rolls around on the ground holding his knee, he tries to get to his feet quickly but collapses.
Buzzard tries to pull himself up using the ropes, realizing the situation he has going on with his knee. Melody finally starts getting to her feet, and looks over at Buzzard struggling. She starts laughing at Buzzard! Buzzard toughs through it and pulls himself up and limps to the center of the ring. The two begin staring each other down intensely.
Gomez: This has been a war and these warriors may still be here and battling an hour from now!
Asriel Buzzard slaps Melody Malone across the face. Malone, takes a step back and fires off a slap of her own across Buzzard’s cheek. Buzzard spits blood out of his mouth and limps forward throwing a right hand. Malone staggers back and fires a right hand of her own across the side of Buzzard’s face. The two trade blows again and Malone staggers to her knee. Buzzard goes to punch Melody in the face again but she manages to sweep Buzzard’s bad leg out from under him.
Asriel is down on his knees as well now, holding his leg. Malone drives two right hands into Buzzard and gets to her feet. She runs off the ropes, coming back off the other set and tries to hit Buzzard with his own finisher! Buzzard quickly rolls away while Malone claps her hands at Asriel. Buzzard gets to the ropes and pulls himself up again. The Queen pounces and kicks him twice in his knee while he drags himself up.
Woo: Damn he is one tough SOB!
Malone goes for a high roundhouse kick but Buzzard manages to duck under. He shoves an off balance Melody into the corner and strikes with a european uppercut. Buzzard starts punching at Malone’s cut on her forehead. Throwing bombs into it over and over again causing Malone to bleed more and more.
Melody finally manages to get her legs between the two and pushes Buzzard back off of her. The Queen runs at Asriel and goes for a Tornado DDT, but Asriel is able to stop himself from going down. But his knee gives out. The Queen changes course, pulls him to his feet and plants him to the canvas with her Spike DDT.
Gomez: Is this it? We know where this normally leads
Malone carefully climbs the turnbuckle, and looks back at the downed Buzzard one last time before leaping off the top rope with the moonsault coup de gras attempt.
Woo: That has to be it!
Buzzard rolls out of the way at the last second! Malone crashes to the canvas, and has to keep rolling backwards not to injure herself. Buzzard begins pulling himself up on the apron as The Queen rolls to her feet. Malone is outraged and comes running at Buzzard going for a low dropkick as Buzzard tries to step through the ropes. Buzzard manages to pull himself onto the apron just in time.
Malone gets to her feet and throws a right hand at Buzzard, he returns the favor. Buzzard grabs Malone by the hair and drags her to the corner. He starts slamming her head off of the top turnbuckle repeatedly. Buzzard drags the dazed Malone onto the apron with him. He puts her head between his legs and goes for a piledriver on the apron, Malone manages to squirm her way back down to her feet.
Gomez: Is there any move these two can not counter?
Buzzard hooks her arms back, and delivers a devastating pedigree on the apron. Buzzard rolls into the ring holding his knee. Malone is motionless on the apron, while Buzzard is rolling around in the ring holding his injured leg. Buzzard once again heads to the ropes and begins to pull himself up. He limps his way across the ring and waits for Malone to struggle to her feet. Asriel looks for his superkick to Malone on the apron but his knee gives out again. The Queen reacts instantly and runs to the corner.
Gomez: The Queen rising to the top rope but what will she do when she gets there?
Malone flips in the air and delivers Off With Their Head! Buzzard almost comes out of his shoes but falls into the corner. Malone drags him out of the corner, and pauses.
Woo: What is she thinking now? Making a cover? Or does she plan on some other way to keep Buzzard down?
Malone climbs the top rope again, this time crushing Buzzard to the canvas with The Queen’s Gambit. Malone falls down on Buzzard, hooking both legs.

Dobrev: And your winner, via pinfall and NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION! MELODY MALONE!The referee hands Malone the championship and Malone drops to her knees. She pushes hair, sweat and blood from her face before raising her arms and the championship in the air and screaming in victory
Woo: it's cliché but The Queen is back on her throne!
Gomez: Both gave it everything they have. Buzzard has nothing to feel bad about. Any other night, it could have been him with his arms raised in victory here.
Woo: On this night, Melody Malone had that bit more and that is why she's the champion.
Gomez: Speaking of champions, the Undisputed Champion is not only here, he's backstage right now.
Camera cuts to the man himself...
The feed transitions into Marvel Stadium’s backstage area, specifically the medical center, where there seems to be a lot of commotion. Suddenly, the door bursts open, and Undisputed Champion Ace King steps into the hallway, clearly laboring and sporting a large goose egg on his head from the attack at the end of the Freeview. Through gritted teeth, a clearly agitated Ace scans the hallway.
Ace King: Where the fuck is he?
His rhetorical question goes unrequited as he starts down the hallway, wincing as he puts a hand on his ribs and putting the Undisputed Championship around his waist to try and keep his torso stable. As he gets it fastened, he grimaces a bit more as Ace Heart approaches, microphone in hand.
Ace King: Sorry, that wasn’t directed at you this time, honest.
Heart maintains a stiff upper lip as he sidles up closer to the Undisputed Champion.
Ace Heart: Very well, though I can’t help but notice you’re still in pain, presumably from the attack you suffered at the hands of your opponent for the Undisputed Championship, Scorpio, earlier this evening. Where is your mind now as you head into this match?
The Undisputed Champion is clearly irritated with the question, his face scrunching up to indicate his disapproval. King clears his throat, then narrows his eyes at the interviewer.
Ace King: The objective doesn’t change: Take out Scorpio, retain the Undisputed Championship… But honestly, I can’t believe that sonofabitch thought it was a wise idea to give me more motivation to leave him staring at the Melbourne sunset than I already had.
Ace quickly blinks a few times before shaking his head dismissively, careful to not move himself too much.
Ace King: The fact that he felt the need to do that confirms everything I believed about him: Deep down, he knows this may be the last really good shot he’s got at this for a while, if not for the rest of his career since, and I’m sure he’ll hate hearing this… but he isn’t getting any younger.
The crowd buzzes at the reference, though Ace remains serious as he speaks.
Ace King: He knows this may well be it for him if he doesn’t get the job done tonight, and for someone like him, who craves any and all limelight they can get? That’s a terrifying notion for him, which is why I’ll be all too happy to turn his world even more black than it already was, as I walk out the same way I’m walking in: With the Undisputed Championship.
Ace Heart: And then what is your take on the Rumble match tonight?
Ace King: What about it?
Ace Heart: Well, is there anyone in particular you’d like to see win it?
The Undisputed Champion is annoyed by the question, gingerly running a hand through his hair.
Ace King: I think you’re looking way too far ahead, and I can’t afford to play that game. Are there options? Sure, but none of them mean anything if I don’t have the Undisputed Championship, so I need to take care of my own business first… and I’m going to. Bet On It.
Intensity permeates Ace’s pained expression, his stare boring straight into the camera for a few seconds before eventually cutting elsewhere…
Because we're not quite done backstage, we find ourselves inside The Love Club locker room. Bunny Love is on her phone as Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane stand by looking as excited as kids on Christmas morning.
Love: Ok...yeah...yeah...PERFECT!!! Thank you very much…
Bunny ends the call and smiles at Bobby and Jimmy
Love: The package has arrived!!!
Bobby and Jimmy jump up and high five each other once...twice...three times
Love: Settle down, this doesn’t change anything, we still need to go out there and take care of business against these two schmucks…
Rose: Hemorrhoids…
Lane: And we want nothing more than to end the pain in the ass they have become Bunny…
Rose: We watched them run through the Prime section of the Super 16 Tag Team Championship Tournament, beating Senshi of the Blade and then our boys Jamie and Lorenzo...acting like dicks all the way, mocking the the two teams and trying to SABOTAGE the tag team division and this tournament as a whole…
Lane: We have worked so damn hard to get to this point, a record breaking 427 days at EWC Tag Team Champions, a record breaking 9 championship defenses...the hardest working tag team in the division, 14-0 this season, 9 MVP’s this season...wins over the EWC Undisputed Champion, twice beaten the EWC International and X-Division Champion and the HBO Broadcast Champion and everything we have accomplished could come to an end here tonight at the hands of these two...these two…
Rose: HEMORRHOIDS!!! These two can end it all right here tonight, end our championship reign, end out championship defense streak, eliminate us from the Super 16 Tag Team Championship Tournament and take our place in the Finals against Ace King and El Pablo...we can’t allow that, we can’t allow this all to end to THEM!!!
Lane: Could you imagine the arrogance from these two if THEY are the ones that end this...we would never hear the end of it…
Rose: NO, I don’t even want to think about it, we need to go out there and do what we do...show them that they are out of their league and that we are indeed the best damn tag team in this division, this company and in this business…
Love: These two would piss all over those tag team championship belts, we’ve seen how they treat the FX Broadcast Championship…
Rose: They’ve shit all over it, Bosa won it and elevated that championship, Nightcall continued that trend and now Tyler Bradford treats it like dog crap on his shoes...allows Eddie Dozier to parade around with it over his shoulder as if he’s a champion...they don’t value what these championships mean...to them these would be extra private jet coasters for their drinks...no fucking way we can allow that guys…
Lane: Don’t worry Bobby, this all ends here tonight, we end their run, eliminate them from the tournament and put them in our rear view mirror for good...as we said already...we Sabotage Sabotage!!!
Jimmy holds up his hand and Bobby high fives him
Lane: And now...we have a little surprise for the two hemorrhoids…
Jimmy starts to laugh
Rose: Let’s go out there and punch our ticket to the Super 16 finals and party so hard tonight that Melbourne is never the same again…
The trio nods as the camera fades out, taking us back to ringside!
PARAMOUNT WRESTLING & EWC PRIME
SUPER 16 TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FINALS
EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Sabotage
Vs The Southern Express
MATCH WRITER: Dominic Sanders
We return to ringside where we are getting ready for the Tag Team Championships to be on the line!
Woo: It's been a wild night already, and things are about to heat up even more! The Southern Express have far exceeded expectations and have broken the record for the longest Tag Team Championship reign, but tonight they're about to face a tough challenge as they face Sabotage!
Gomez: Eddie Dozier and Tyler Bradford are looking to rain on the champs' parade, win the belts, and move on to the finals of the Super 16 Tag Team Tournament all in one fell swoop!
Dobrev: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the EWC Tag Team Championships! Joining us first at a combined weight of 478 pounds ... SABOTAGE!
"Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys begins to play. The camera shot turns to widescreen format with the bars on top and bottom. Theatrics bring Eddie Dozier and Tyler Bradford out onto the stage in slow motion. Both men have sunglasses on with tear-away suits. The crowd boos them loudly as they look at each other and bump forearms in air. Eddie removes his sunglasses and tosses them aside before pulling a microphone out of his pocket. The music dies down and the crowd boos louder.
Dozier: Yes, we know. We would be booing, too, if we had to live with such jealousy for perfection! But I would like to be serious for a second. We understand that there are many underprivileged, suffering children here in Australia. It really breaks our hearts. But we have partnered together with Save the Children Australia to fight these problems. Therefore, I would like to announce that I will be donating my entire $100,000 bonus to Save the Children Australia when we win the Tag Team Championships tonight.
An unusual cheer comes from a portion of the crowd. Eddie nods his head and wipes "a tear" away from his eye.
Dozier: That's right. I am dedicating this match to Save the Children Australia! In fact, Tyler and I have decided to further show our support with these custom t-shirts. Thank you, Save the Children Australia! And good luck to The Southern Express!
Eddie tosses the microphone aside. He and Bradford grab the material of their tear-away suits and count to three before ripping them away. On top of their ring gear are t-shirts that say "FUCK THEM KIDS!" The crowd erupts into boos as they laugh and "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys fires up again. They begin to walk cockily down to the ring, hurling insults at fans along the way. Bradford has a bit of a limp from his brutal ladder match earlier in the night. Both men climb up onto the ring apron in unison and then step through the middle of the ropes in unison. Both men go opposite directions from each other, climb to the middle turnbuckle, and raise their arms out to their sides as the crowd boos them. Bradford takes his sunglasses off and throws them into the crowd before descending from the turnbuckle. They meet back in the middle of the ring and double-fist bump before Dozier holds the FX Broadcast Championship high in the air. They head to their corner.
Dobrev: And their opponents, from Nashville, Tennessee, at a total combined weight of 445 pounds ... they are the EWC Tag Team Champions ... THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS!
The electric guitar kicks in to 'Stranglehold' as the crowd gets to their feet, some of the older females in the crowd start to scream like they did when they were younger as Bunny Love walks out onto the stage and is quickly followed by Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane. Bunny leads the way as the pair reach out and high five with the fans as the walk to the ring. Bunny marches up the steps and steps through the ropes as Bobby and Jimmy climb up onto the apron and step through the ropes, take off the titles, and hand them to Bunny. They head to opposite corners. Jimmy climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and Bobby stands in the corner as both men toss out bandannas to the crowd as Bunny stands in the middle of the ring holding up both Tag Team Championship belts.
Woo: Here we go folks, this Tag Team Championship bout is underway!
DING DING DING
Dozier and Bobby start off the match. The crowd is clearly behind The Southern Express. Eddie wastes no time and goes right after Bobby. He pushes Bobby back into the ropes and rears back for a right haymaker. Bobby ducks and Eddie’s momentum drapes him over the top rope. Quickly, Bobby leaps over the top rope and brings Eddie’s throat down across the top rope. Eddie snaps backwards and lands hard in the ring. Bobby gets back up onto the apron and slingshots himself over the top into a leg drop on Eddie. He goes for a quick cover.

TW-Kickout by Dozier.
Bobby pulls Eddie up to a seated position and puts him in a headlock, slowing down the pace. Eddie shakes his head as the referee checks for a submission. Eddie pulls himself up to his feet and grabs Bobby. He lifts Bobby up and drops him with a side suplex. Eddie rolls over onto his hands and knees and jams a left hand across Bobby’s throat, choking him.

Eddie releases the chokehold at the last second, avoiding disqualification. Eddie gets up to his feet and grabs Bobby by the hair. He pulls him up to his feet and slings him into the ropes. On the return, Eddie lifts Bobby up with a twisting spinebuster! He covers Bobby.

Jimmy comes in and stomps on the back of Eddie’s head, breaking up the count. Jimmy exits the ring as Eddie gets up and chases after him. The referee steps in between and fights to keep the two apart as Eddie shouts at Jimmy. Bradford slides into the ring and runs gingerly at Bobby, driving a shin into the side of his head. Bradford exits the ring before the referee turns back around and Dozier walks away from Jimmy. Dozier lifts Bobby up, looking for The End! But Bobby slips off of Eddie’s shoulders and shoves Eddie hard into the turnbuckles. Eddie drops to the mat and Bobby crawls over to his corner. He reaches up and tags Jimmy into the match.
Woo: The champs taking it to Sabotage in the early going here!
Gomez: That's that experience coming into play, Marcus!
Jimmy slides into the ring and walks over to Eddie. He lifts Eddie up and brings him down with a textbook suplex. Jimmy gets up to his feet and goes over to an empty corner. He exits to the apron and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Eddie is up to his feet and Jimmy leaps off with a crossbody. But Eddie rolls through and gets up to his feet while holding Jimmy. Fall-away slam! Eddie gets up and grabs Jimmy. He hooks him up and lifts him into a delayed piledriver, jamming Jimmy's head into the mat! Eddie makes a cover.
ONE...

Kickout by Jimmy Lane.
Eddie pounds the mat in frustration. He gets to his feet, grabs Jimmy by the wrist, and yanks Jimmy off of the mat. He rolls under with a twist of the arm and then pulls him towards his corner. Tyler Bradford tags himself in and enters the ring slowly. He takes a look at Jimmy, yells something in his face, and then drives a stiff slap into the left side of Jimmy's jawbone. He grabs Jimmy's other arm and he and Eddie send Jimmy across the ring into the ropes. Jimmy returns and Sabotage goes for a double back-body drop. Jimmy hits the brakes. He delivers a single-legged dropkick to the tops of both men's heads. Both men hit the ground, Eddie using the momentum to roll out of the ring. Jimmy kips up to his feet. He stomps on Tyler's lower back as Tyler tries to push himself up to his feet. Tyler hits the mat again. Jimmy gets up and tags Bobby Rose back in. Now both men are in the ring. They lift Tyler to his feet and back up... DOUBLE SUPER KICK! They call that the Mic Drop!
Woo: Oh my, could this be the end for Sabotage?
Gomez: That double super kick took the wind right out of Tyler's sails!
Bobby makes a cover on Tyler after the Mic Drop.

Broken up by Eddie Dozier!
Eddie exits the ring as Bobby Rose pulls himself up to his feet. He grabs Bradford by the head to pull him up to his feet, but Bradford catches Bobby in a small package!
ONE...
TWO...
Kickout by Bobby Rose!
Woo: Sabotage almost had the Tag Team Championships there!
Gomez: Marcus, it appears that Bunny Love is waving towards the back and .. someone is coming down the aisle. Well, it's two men, I think. And they are moving very slowly.
Woo: And .. is one of them missing pants?
Sure enough, Harold and Eugene, the two men that Sabotage harassed at the nursing home earlier this week, are slowly making their way down the ramp and to the ring with their walkers. Harold isn't wearing any pants, for God knows what reason. Bunny waves them along, urging them to move faster. Bradford gets up to his feet in the ring and the two elderly men catch his eye. He walks over to the ropes with a perplexed look on his face and starts yelling at them.
Bradford: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE? ARE YOU DEMENTIA-ADDLED IDIOTS LOST?
Harold shakes a fist at Bradford as the two men reach ringside. Bobby Rose leaps up from behind Bradford and drills him with a reverse hurricanrana. He gets up and tags Jimmy Lane into the match. Jimmy jumps into the ring and grabs Bradford. He lifts him into a suplex, Bobby runs and springboards off of the middle rope into a crossbody on Tyler Bradford. Bobby rolls out of the ring and Jimmy covers Bradford!
ONE...
TWO...
Eddie Dozier, once again, manages to break up the pinfall!
This time, however, Eddie grabs Tyler and drags him over to their corner. Eddie goes out to the apron but then promptly tags himself back into the match. He rushes in the ring and runs at Jimmy. He goes for a spear but Jimmy side-steps him and Eddie drives his shoulder into the ring post!
Woo: Eddie taking the fight to Jimmy as Sabotage are finally gaining some momentum here!
Gomez: Jimmy's in a bad way now, Marcus!
Jimmy tags Bobby Rose back into the match. Bobby prepares himself on the apron. Jimmy lifts Dozier up to his feet and then into a tombstone piledriver position. Bobby springboards... GOOD NIGHT MELBOURNE! Bobby Rose covers Eddie Dozier!
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
"Stranglehold" fires up, the crowd cheers, and The Southern Express exit the ring and stand next to Bunny Love, Harold, and Eugene. The referee hands them the Tag Team Championships and they celebrate on the outside. Bradford gingerly crawls over to Dozier to check on him as their opponents make their way up the ramp. Suddenly, there's action from the back.
Gomez: Who the hell is that?!
Someone in a hoodie runs down the ramp and clotheslines both Tag Team Champions. They fall hard to the steel ramp and roll back towards the ring. The man grabs one of the old men's walkers and drills Harold with it. He then swings it at Eugene. Both old men fall to the ground. Bunny Love cowers over the old men, fearing she is next. The hooded man ignores her and turns his attention back to the Tag Team Champions. He grabs Jimmy and uses his strength to press him back into the ring over the top rope. Dozier and Bradford are up to their feet and they start driving kicks and knees into Jimmy Lane. The man on the outside grabs Bobby Rose and places him up onto his shoulder. He drops Rose on the outside with what can only be described as Big E's "The Big Ending." The man gets up to his feet and rolls into the ring. Eddie and Tyler smirk and back off of Jimmy Lane. The man, whose face has not been visible to the camera yet, grabs Jimmy and pulls him to his feet. He presses Jimmy high above his head, seemingly eight feet off of the mat. He walks over to the ropes and drops him over, to the outside, and on top of Bobby Rose. Finally, the man rips off his hoodie and lets out a roar.
Woo: That's Gideon Gage!
Gomez: What the hell is he doing here? And why?
Gage, Bradford, and Dozier stand in the middle of the ring and they all raise their arms into the air. The crowd boos loudly as medical personnel comes out to check on The Southern Express, Harold, and Eugene. Gage, Bradford, and Dozier all exit the ring and yell at the four men as they pass by on their way to the locker room.
Woo: I cannot believe what we just saw transpire. A pretty good Tag Team Championship match was just marred by a heinous attack by Gideon Gage, who seems to have aligned himself with the two worst humans in the EWC.
Gomez: We should be celebrating an amazing tenth successful defense for The Southern Express. Instead, we are all just sick over what happened.
Woo: Sabotage really making their presence here despite the loss, but it cannot be denied that Southern Express are STILL the Tag Team Champions, and now go on to face Ace King and El Pablo at the special Uncensored edition of Rampage on October 15th!
Gomez: Speaking of El Pablo, he's about to face a tough challenge as he looks to dethrone Stitches as the X-Division Champion!
With the ring finally cleared out, the crew begins preparations for the X-Division Championship bout when...
K I N G F L I P flies right to left across the X-Tron, followed by a small pyro, and the fans begin to cheer. "Machinegun" by Portishead plays on the public announce system. The Ol' CHK makes his presence known just as swiftly as his name hit the tron. He bursts through the curtain wearing a Christian Petracca jersey and the arena is in high spirits about it. The jubilation and admiration from the fans for their Melbourne Devils is through the roof. Extreme Wrestling's King doesn't appear to be ready to fight, however, as his Givenchy jeans and golden Jordan 10s would showcase but the raised microphone in his hand means he's at least got something to say.
King Flip: It's great to be here. Right here... in Melbourne, Australia.
He gives pause for the raucous crowd to show their appreciation again. It takes a moment before he can continue.
King Flip: And it's great to be here... at the Rumble down undah!
He tried a terrible Australian accent, but they're not miffed about it. Much cheer and laughter all around as Flip begins to pace the stage.
King Flip: But let's get down to business, shall we? Y'see... I haven't had the best luck in the last couple of outings. The Flip and Jack Connection came just short in the semi-finals of the Super 16 Tournament after mopping the floor against Candy, Visconty, and Dumbage Incorporated in the previous rounds. And El Pablo has a record of spitting in my salad as he takes the number one contendership for the X-Division Championship to fight the Carnival Clown.
There are some cheers for names like Candy, Visconty, and El Pablo. King Flip gives a nod and a moment.
King Flip: Credit where credit is due, El Pablo has been the better man... but ya know who hasn't? The man I've got business with on October the 11th in Madrid, Spain. Why his older brother, the Reidy Boy himself, the International Champion -- one of few who seem to be taking another night off from defending their title -- Xavier Reid.
The Melbourne crowd boos at the mention. Flip nods, again agreeing with the fans in attendance.
King Flip: It's unfortunate that I don't get that International Championship match tonight. My Aussie fans have been robbed, and I don't like when my long-standing peons get robbed. So, instead... I'll give you something else. A couple things. But before I do! I need you to make me one promise. Just one. During the Rumble match that we're all very excited to see, just do me one favor. When that crock of a champion hobbles out to eat another slice of humble pie tonight... I'd like you all to chant just two words at him. Reidy sucks.
Flip motions for the chant to start as he places the microphone onto the stage. They oblige.
"REIDY SUCKS! REIDY SUCKS! REIDY SUCKS!"
With that, Flip takes the number 5 jersey off his back. Many of the ladies whistle and shout their appreciation. The King would blush if he were a lesser man. Instead, he walks down the ramp until he finds a child to hand the jersey off to. He leans in to have a short word with the kid as the fans show their appreciation once again. Flip stands up with a raised finger.
King Flip: And since you don't get to watch it live, I'll let you know that I've been told on good authority... that all his friends will be able to do is watch from afar as well. Have a great night, Melbourne!
Ol' Flipper gives a wave as "Machinegun" fills the public announce system a second time. He backpedals up the stage, taking it all in with a smile, before turning around and walking through the curtain as we cut to...
Backstage, Josh Gavin is pacing around the locker room. There is clear anxiety spread through his entire expression as he begins working on moving his hair back and out of his face.
Gavin: This is the night. My chance to put the ghosts that plague me to rest. A way for me to pen this story's ending myself. And that.. Is the Rumble Match. It would allow me to challenge the Undisputed Champion at Wrestlefest -- which will take place almost exactly one year from when I first debuted in the EWC. And that? That would be an incredible end to a first year. Being able to say... I made it. Being able to put all the doubts I've had, all the reservations, all the anxiety... Down for the count like a good 'ol 1-2-3.
He glimpses a moment at the slew of bodies moving in and out of the locker room -- a reminder of just what he's facing tonight.
Gavin: But it's not gonna be easy, let me tell you. 39 men and women block my path like the Twerkey from Miitopia. It's daunting, you just... Don't want to look at it, don't want to think about it, but you know deep down you gotta plow through it if you want to get to where you wanna be. And me? I'm no chosen Dovahkiin. I wasn't plucked from the tree of life and told that I have this great destiny, and had all of God's great gifts bestowed upon me, nah uh. There is no auto-battle mode here. Josh Gavin had to work for this. Josh Gavin had to fight, scratch, claw, CLIMB! I WORKED to get to the EWC! I worked to be here at the top of my game! And by Odin did I work for this god-like body! And that... Is exactly what I'm going to have to do tonight.
A small smirk hits the corner of his expression as the pep in his step begins to take shape.
Gavin: Whether I get number 1, 2, 3, or 30. Doesn't matter to me. Josh Gavin sees a challenge and by god... Am I going to meet that challenge head on. Because I've said a thousand times that I'm going to Broly my way through the EWC, but thing is? Saiyans become their strongest through battle. They have to revel in the fight and enjoy every second of it, and embrace every challenge that comes their way. That's the mindset I'm taking tonight. Cuz I've got a goal now. Even if I have to come in at something crazy like number 1, even if the odds seem impossible... I'm not stopping. Over many years, I've had to learn that if you want something? You set a goal, you fight for that goal, and you let nothing stop you. So what's my goal?
Gavin grabs the comically-photoshopped poster he had made for his previous promo and flashes it to the camera.
Gavin: THIS... Is my goal.
He grins with all of the cheek in the world.
Gavin: If I want to reach that goal? Now is the time. Tonight? I get. That. Bread. That glorious golden cornbread masterfully toasted to perfection.
With that final statement, we head back to ringside!
EWC X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
FOUR CORNERS OF PAIN MATCH
El Pablo
Vs Stitches
MATCH WRITER: Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
We return to ringside where the match between Sabotage and The Southern Express has just ended. The excitement can not be contained, and The Rumble XVIII is only about half-way done with the show! We cut to commentary to discuss the next fight!
Woo: Welcome back, folks! Hopefully you’ve been able to stay with us and watch all of the action. And it’s only about to get better! We’re going to finally see Stitches defend his X-Division Championship against El Pablo. And, apparently, these two had quite the historic encounter in Melbourne! It’ll be very exciting to see who comes out on top!
Gomez: El Pablo may have secured his spot here tonight by overcoming both King Flip and “La Belicista” Isabella, but he’s seen firsthand that conquering Stitches is no easy task, as he’s also suffered a loss to him. Will he be able to handle any sadistic tricks the champion will no doubt pull out? Or will Stitches’ reign continue? We’re about to find out. Take us away, Dobrev!
Dobrev: The following match is a Four Corners Of Pain fight, and it is for the EWC X-Division Championship! Joining us first, from Puebla City, Mexico, weighing in at 180 pounds ... EL PABLO!
A cry of “VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!” leads to ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK hitting the sound system, as the stage and ringside area becomes bathed in flashing, flickering, brightly-coloured lighting. As the main hook hits, El Pablo bursts through the curtain, playing to the fans and chugging Skittles like a Steveweiser. He charges down the ramp and slides under the ropes into the ring, then runs up the turnbuckle and flings a fistful of Skittles into the adoring crowd. After offering a final salute, he hops back down to the canvas, performing a few final stretches as his music fades.
Dobrev: And his opponent, from The Carnival Of Shattered Dreams, weighing in at 260 pounds ... He is the EWC X-DIVISION CHAMPION....STITCHES!
As the intro to 'Inside' by Sevendust begins to play the lights in the stadium slowly start to dissipate. Around the seventeen mark into the intro there is a thunderous beat and all the lights completely go out in the stadium. The lights remain completely off until the thirty-two second mark where there is another thunderous beat and all the lights flash back on, all at once, before once again shutting completely off. The lights remain completely off again until the forty-nine second mark where there is another thunderous beat and all the lights flash back on, all at once, once again.
The lights start to flicker as the hi-hat in the song continues to be hit over and over again. As the lights continue to flicker a silhouette of a person emerges on the stage wearing some sort of helmet, the silhouette stands completely still at the center of the ramp. There is another booming sound at the one minute and four second mark as the instruments in the song start to kick in. The lights start to pick up and strobe lights flash all over the stadium until finally, at the one-minute and twenty second mark the song completely stops, all the lights are shut off once again and the stadium is submerged into completely darkness once more.
The stadium remains completely dark for around ten seconds before the beat in 'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' drops at around the thirty seven second mark. Standing at the top of the ramp, smoke spewing out from the entrance curtains, is none other than Stitches. Stitches is wearing a replica of Ned Kelly's helmet as the Australian crowd cheer at the sight of the helmet. Quickly realizing who is behind the helmet, the start to jeer. Over the carnival clown's shoulder rests the X-Division Championship.
Stitches methodically makes his way down the ramp, staring down the crowd members who dare lean too far over the crowd barricade through the eye-level slit in the helmet. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops and once again looks out at the crowd of people before him. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches for-goes climbing to the second rope and instead enters the ring as the lights in the stadium once again go out.
For a few seconds the lights remain completely off until, eventually, a single spotlight beams down towards the center of the ring where Stitches sits, cross-legged, staring forward with the X-Division Championship still over his shoulder. With both hands he reaches up, lifts the Ned Kelly helmet up and over his head and places it a few feet in front of him. Stitches then takes the X-Division Championship off of his shoulder and extends both of his arms outward with the X-Division Championship clutched in his right hand. The jeers for the carnival clown intensify as the stadium lights return to normal.
Woo: Hey, wait a second … that helmet. Isn’t it the same one we saw from Stitches’ promo?
Sure enough, the camera zooms in on Stitches to reveal he does indeed appear to be wearing the replica of Ned Kelly’s helmet. Before Woo or Gomez can ponder this anymore, though …
DING DING DING
Despite knowing Stitches could easily overpower him in pure strength, he meets up with the Clown in the center and locks up. Stitches temporarily looks amused … before El Pablo kicks at his knees in an effort to gain the upper hand. Then the smile is turned upside-down while El Pablo is lifted up.
Before he can be slammed down onto the canvas, however, a hard kick to his side causes him to drop El Pablo, whom - rather gracefully - lands on his feet. El Pablo takes the opportunity and rains elbow strikes any and everywhere he can hit; midsection, arms, legs.
Stitches takes a good number of assaults before ending them with a Lethal Lariat, damn well nearly beheading El Pablo in the process. Stitches peeks at the corners, noting the weapons .. but decides not to go for them just yet.
Instead, he glances down at El Pablo, who is steadily getting his footing back. Now it’s the champion’s turn to take advantage of his opponent’s state -- or that’s what he thinks! El Pablo rolls away, using the ropes to launch himself towards Stitches! Springboard Spanish Fly!
Both men are now down, and the referee begins counting! Stitches is the first to get back to his feet, and the count ends at four!
Woo: Close call there in the early goings, but the champ is back up!
Gomez: Pablo might've gotten some damage in but Stitches can handle it!
Both wrestlers glance towards the corners. El Pablo darts towards one of the corners, seeming perfectly fine with going for a weapon, but Stitches isn’t letting him have his way. El Pablo is grabbed by the shoulder and finds himself first looking right at the clown wagging a finger in his face. Then he proceeds to headbutt El Pablo!
It does, of course, hurt Stitches a bit in the process. But this also causes El Pablo to slow down and grab at his head. While he’s still reeling in pain, Stitches lifts El Pablo up, this time succeeding in slamming him down with a Sit-Out Powerbomb! But … he doesn’t go for a pin.
Instead, he rolls El Pablo on his stomach, going for a Boston Crab.
Before he can finish, though, El Pablo decides to take a page from Stitches’ book … and headbutts him in retaliation before he can get completely trapped in the hold! As Stitches lets go, El Pablo hurries towards one of the corners. However, he doesn’t go for a weapon, but instead, the ropes. He’s ready to fly, and he eagerly does so with a Shooting Star Press!
He hooks the champ’s legs in hopes of going for an early win, but only gets a one count before being thrown off of Stitches, who is now glaring a hole through El Pablo.
Woo: That look of evil intent on the face of the champion!
Gomez: Pablo knows things are about to get real violent, real quick!
The time for playing is over. Now, things are getting serious it seems, as both wrestlers go to a corner each. Stitches turns around, showing he has a staple gun in his hands, while El Pablo has … a bucket? As Stitches takes a few paces towards him, we finally see what is inside, as El Pablo dumps the contents all over the canvas. It’s full of broken glass!
Stitches grins, seeming very happy with El Pablo’s choice. He saunters towards him … while beginning to fire staples at the challenger. Soon, it almost looks like a scene that could be taken out of The Matrix, with El Pablo doing his best to dodge both the staples and the glass.
Unfortunately, El Pablo is not Neo, and therefore has several well-placed staples land in his flesh. The first to hit its mark goes into El Pablo’s right shoulder. The Technicolor Tecnico grabs at his shoulder, only to drop to a knee as a second staple goes into his left kneecap. Then, just for good measure, Stitches closes the distance and grabs El Pablo’s right hand, slamming the staple gun down and punching three staples right into his palm!
Out of desperation and a bit of adrenaline, El Pablo backs up against the ropes, using himself to fly at Stitches once more. He expects the Spanish Fly, but is caught off-guard! Instead of repeating the Springboard Spanish Fly, El Pablo goes for his signature technique, the Furry Ninja Strike (Springboard Spinning Wheel Kick)! Right to the back of Stitches’ head!
He manages to keep his balance and avoid falling on the glass. However, that seems to be something that is quickly remedied with a Running Frankensteiner from El Pablo!
Stitches decides if he’s going down, he won’t do so alone! He keeps a hold on the masked challenger, and THEY BOTH FALL ONTO THE GLASS!
Woo: Oh no! Things just got really ugly here, folks!
Gomez: You gotta' wonder who's even gonna get up from this, Marcus!
Stitches is the first to stir. He slowly begins crawling towards one of the corners. El Pablo is staring at his palm, seeming to contemplate whether to yank the stitches out now or not. He decides against it, not wanting to risk making the injuries worse, and simply focuses on getting back up instead. He gets shakily up to a knee and turns … right in time to find himself facing the Champion! With a smug smirk on his face, Stitches pulls El Pablo into a hammerlock!
El Pablo tries to fight back, doubly so as a click! is heard, and he feels handcuffs being placed around his wrist! He tries to headbutt and escape, but Stitches is enduring the pain. A second click resounds and the camera zooms in to confirm El Pablo is indeed completely handcuffed!
The crowd boos loudly, but Stitches ignores them. He kicks El Pablo back down onto the glass then moves to a different corner. He produces a length of rope that is already made in the shape of a noose and gestures for a hook to come down towards the ring.
While waiting for the hook to arrive, Stitches plants a boot firmly on El Pablo’s chest, keeping him from running away.
Woo: Oh...oh no. I don't like where we're going with this one bit.
Gomez: Honestly, this is a bit much even for me. Stitches, you'd better not--
As Stitches drags El Pablo up to his feet and begins wrapping the noose around his neck, the X-tron flickers to life.
---: Hey clown.
From the backstage area, Candy waves at him. While the crowd sounds pleased with her appearance, Stitches looks angry.
Candy: Did you really think just because you beat me on Brawl that’d be the end of it?
She arches an eyebrow as he shouts something at her.
Candy: Truth is, we’re just getting started!
As Candy laughs, her appearance flickers between the unsweetened and the sweetened versions of herself just before the X-tron suddenly goes black. Once she’s gone from sight, Stitches doesn’t just look angry. No, he looks livid. The Champion squeezes tightly onto El Pablo’s shoulders, partly out of frustration and also to keep him still.
He soon finds out, however, that during the X-tron playing, it gave El Pablo more than enough time. More specifically, time to escape the cuffs. He waves, then throws an elbow back into Stitches’ sternum! El Pablo quickly pivots around and forces Stitches to Taste The Rainbow (Frankensteiner Facebuster), driving him not only back onto the canvas, but the glass also!
El Pablo hooks the legs again!
ONE...
TWO....
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Dobrev: And your winner, via pinfall, AND THE NEW EWC X-DIVISION CHAMPION, EL PABLO!
Stitches doesn’t even pay heed to El Pablo. Instead, he rolls out of the ring, and runs as quickly as he can backstage, no doubt looking for Candy. The look in his eyes spells out his intentions are anything but good for The Sweet Treat.
El Pablo, meanwhile, is handed the X-Division Championship. He stares at it before holding it high up into the air, managing to shakily remain on his legs with a bit of help from the referee and some still lingering adrenaline. The audience cheers him on, happy and ecstatic that someone has dethroned the Clown.
Woo: Wow, folks! Just wow! From start to finish, that was everything I expected and more. Violent, but very satisfying to watch! A perfect display of what the X-Division is truly all about!
Gomez: Well said, Woo. I’m definitely glad El Pablo was able to pull a Houdini and avoid getting lynched. That made my heart stop for a few seconds, to see Stitches seemed to be going for such a brutal ending.
Woo: And based on what happened near the end, it seems like the war between Candy and Stitches has officially been renewed!
Gomez: Makes me wonder how violent that's gonna be on the red brand after their previous battles across PRIME and Paramount! Speaking of heated rivalries, we're about to see another one write a new chapter!
But, before we get to that epic encounter, we have a little business to attend to ...
'THE BADDEST' by Raon Lee hits as Narumi Tsutsumi enters the stage with her damaged PRIMETime Briefcase. Megumi joins behind her to warmly play it up with the crowd as they make their way to the ring.
Woo: Through internal reports, we were told that Narumi had a major announcement she wanted to make in front of the crowd tonight, and it looks like she's brought friends to do just that!
Gomez: Moral support aside, the primary friend I have my eye on is that PRIMETime Briefcase. It's an item we haven't often seen with her, and it looks worse for wear, but there must be a reason for her bringing it out to the ring.
With the Senshi of The Blade in the ring, Narumi grabs a microphone as she addresses the cheering crowd while looking down at her briefcase.
Tsutsumi: I'd like to begin by thanking my fans for being patient with me during my struggles with my darker inner yokai and second-guessing myself over how to use the power of PRIMETime Briefcase. I know I'm in a position many in the back would kill to be in, but that only made me take this all the more serious. I didn't want to give in to the fear some sensed in me and do something cowardly, nor did I want to give fuel to those who claim having this briefcase meant I didn't put my heart into my matches and performing as one half of the Senshi of the Blade.
Megumi puts her hand on Narumi's shoulder for support nods to herself to build up confidence.
Tsutsumi: Most of all, I knew I couldn't take Dio lightly. This is the same guy who is so far ahead of the competition on PRIME that no one else has been able to make him defend his championship since May. Mind you, this is the same brand we have to compete with Scorpio for the Broadcast Championship to even begin to rise up the ranks, so just imagine how impressive Dio is to be on top of it all. So I knew if I was to muster up the courage to approach Dio, I should do it in the biggest way possible. The way a Senshi would!
The crowd chants the Senshi's "fight on" phrase, and Narumi smiles
Tsutsumi: And heading back Down Under made me realize it would be fitting to make my decision here! Here where I can get the weight off my chest before the Rumble! Here in the country that cheered me on to face the odds and become a champion for my very first time! So I'll be letting you all be the first to hear my announcement of where I'll cash this in and challenge Dio for the Indy Championship!
Woo: It's happening!
Narumi lifts the PRIMETime Briefcase in the air as the crowd cheers in anticipation.
Tsutsumi: It'll be at an event where I'll have nothing to divide my attention and an event where the rising stars of the EWC take center stage! In the month where those who go bump in the night thrive, this oni sinks her fangs into Dio in the main event of YOUNGBLOOD III!!!!!!!!!!!
Narumi smiles as the crowd erupts and then she turns her attention to the ramp, knowing Dio somewhere will be passed along the message.
Tsutsumi: Dio, I hope you'll be all healed up, because your vacation from needing to be a fighting champion that defends that title in front of the people is over! You have a challenger!
Narumi's smile turns into a sly smirk, knowing those are lowkey fighting words sure to get his attention as the Senshi of the Blade begin to leave the ring as THE BADDEST begins to play again.
Gomez: The rumored spunk on the oni princess lives up to the reputation! That's a big challenge she just laid out to be for Youngblood III!
Woo: That's the spirit of the young blood in the EWC. They won't wait for their time, they go out and get it! Will one of them be able to get their time tonight in the Rumble? Will it be a member of Senshi of the Blade? At the end of the night we'll find out who goes to Wrestlefest, but right now we know Narumi is going to Youngblood!
On an adrenaline rush, Narumi is shown spinning the PRIMETime briefcase around at the top of the ramp with Megumi as the show moves on, gearing up toward an epic clash in store...
Gideon Gage is walking backstage when from behind him a smaller woman appears.
??: Stop right there Gage.
Gage spins around, fists clinched and eyes wide.
Gage: Who the FUCK interrupted me on my way to the can.
??: I did. Don't you think you can get away with that mess you pulled last Rampage.
Gage looks down and sees AC Delaney, former Rampage General Manager.
AC: Grizzly Duggan put me in charge, left me one order though. He said you're not allowed to be fired.
Gage: I finally beat some respect into that bearded fuck eh? That's all it takes to get some respect, a good tap with a chair?
AC: You are a pathetic man who will get what is coming to him. But for now, you can get this.
AC Delaney hands him a piece of paper. Gage looks down at it and growls.
AC: You have been fined 500K dollars. You have 2 weeks to pay it or it will be doubled. I cannot fire you, but I can force you into bankruptcy.
AC Delaney turns and walks away towards her office, ignoring Gage's yelling and cussing as we cut away...
We cut to the X-Tron, which flickers to life with a video package highlighting the feud between Ace King and Scorpio and narrated by the iconic Keith David.
Keith: For two years, two men have been at war. Ace King, your reigning and defending Undisputed Champion, a man that is absolutely hated by the Showtime Broadcast Champion, Scorpio.
Cut to footage from Night of Champions XVI, and Scorpio falling through a flaming table at the hands of Cyrus Black, before going to WrestleFest that year with the historic United States Championship match between these two men.
Keith: Scorpio's failure to win the Undisputed Title at Night of Champions XVI led him down the path to who he is today, a man who ended Ace King's record-breaking title reign as United States Champion at 777 days. These two have had many battles since, and we arrive at perhaps the biggest match in this feud since that night at WrestleFest XVII.
We cut to footage of where both men have gone since, including Ace's recent title reigns leading to him finally managing to retain the title at Night of Champions XVIII and Scorpio winning the Showtime Broadcast Championship.
Keith: Ladies and gentlemen, your Showtime Broadcast Champion stakes his claim at the biggest prize in this sport, as Scorpio takes on Ace King for the Undisputed Championship here at the Rumble Down Under!
With these final words, the video package ends and we head back to ringside!
We return to ringside where the crowd are geared up ready for the final championship match of the night. The camera pans up to the Rumble Down Under’s poster displaying our next two competitors.
Woo: These two have certainly had a storied past haven’t they, and as they go into their third big contest against each other they’re entering with a win each. The tensions are high, even on our pre-show these two got into it!
Gomez: This one’s going to be the decider in a hell of a three match series, the question is, will the legend of Ace King grow or will we have a new Undisputed Champion?
'Rule Britannia' hits the speakers as red, white, and blue lighting flashes around the arena. The crowd begin to boo loudly as the imagine of a waving Union Jack is displayed on the X-Tron. Superimposed on this is the message "Please be upstanding for your Prime Minister". After a little while the orchestral music fades down...
Dobrev: The following match is scheduled for one-fall and it is for the EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first the challenger, from London, England, weighing in at 205 lbs... 'The People's Camp', 'The Baddest Bitch On The Planet', 'The Prime Minister'... he is the Showtime Broadcast Champion… 'THE S-FACTOR' SCORPIO!
'Iconic' - Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the ring. Scorpio climbs up one set of steps as Crème climbs the other, parting the ropes to allow 'The S-Factor'' in. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face.
"THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
The signature Motorhead anthem rips through Marvel Stadium, and the crowd starts cheering. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp. Once the guitars hit, a plume of fire goes up on either side of the ramp as Ace King rises to the stage from a platform, looking out at the crowd and nodding in appreciation.
Dobrev: And his opponent making his way to the ring, FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 235 pounds... He is The EWC Undisputed Champion… THE GAMBLER... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG!!!
A thin smile crosses Ace's face as his weathered eyes look out at the crowd, pausing for a few more seconds on the platform before casually making his way down the ramp toward the ring, his arms outstretched for fans on either side of the barricade. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as gold pyro explodes off each turnbuckle. Ace spins up to one knee, then takes another appreciative look out at the crowd before getting back to his feet and turning his attention to Scorpio, his game face firmly on.
Woo: There’s absolutely no love lost between these two incredible wrestlers and I for one cannot wait to see this one go down…
DING DING DING
The crowd are pumped for this one as Scorpio and Ace King stare one another down across the ring. The S-Factor smirks as the Gambler beckons him forward for a test of strength. Ace puts both arms up – and Scorpio takes advantage by slapping Ace clean across the face – but doesn’t bank on Ace firing back with a huge forearm that sends Scorpio staggering back. Ace follows it up with an absolute barrage of forearms and elbows driving Scorpio back into the turnbuckles. Ace slams a few more shot in to huge cheers from the fans before he Irish whips Scorpio into the opposite corner and follows it up with a leaping elbow. Scorpio staggers out and gets caught with a corkscrew neckbreaker before King straddles his challenger and lays in a series of shots. The crowd are going wild for the Undisputed Champion’s dominance as King hauls Scorpio to his feet and lifts him with a big back suplex. He then drags Scorpio up and sends him into the ropes – but the S-Factor drops down and rolls from the ring shaking his head. Crème de la Crème appears by Scorpio’s side and gives him a pep talk as the fans boo and King shouts at Scorpio to get back into it. The S-Factor flips him off and turns back to Crème to discuss match tactics. Back in the ring King looks frustrated as the referee’s count reaches five, and the Undisputed Champion shakes his head. He begins to climb the turnbuckles nearest Scorpio and Crème as the crowd begins to cheer, and as King reaches the top he turns around – AND LEAPS OFF WITH A MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE – BUT SCORPIO SPOTS IT AT THE LAST SECOND DIVING OUT THE WAY AND ALLOWING CRÈME TO TAKE THE HIT!
Woo: I'd talk about high risk moves and the risks, but Crème De La Crème just got wiped out with that moonsault!
Gomez: She is flat out!
King pushes to his feet and is met with an enzuigiri from the challenger immediately as the referee’s count re-starts. Scorpio wastes no time in hauling King up and sending him crashing into the nearest ring steps before he smashes King’s head off the corner pole and rolls him under the bottom rope. He immediately makes a cover getting and one count before he smashes the back of King’s head off the mat and makes another cover with his elbow over King’s face, scoring a one and a half. The S-Factor shouts at the referee that it was a clear three count before he gets to his feet and lands a knee drop on Ace. He hauls the champion up and sends him into the ropes, landing a dropkick. King hits the mat and gets to his feet right into another dropkick from Scorpio, and as King rolls to his feet again Scorpio lands a hurricanrana scoring a one and a half count from the pin attempt. Scorpio slams his hands on the mat and screams with frustration before he turns back to King and begins to stomp at him. King manages to catch Scorpio’s foot and drags him down to the mat, climbing on top of the challenger with some hard strikes, before Scorpio manages to headbutt his way free from the Gambler’s hold. As Scorpio gets to his knees he reaches forward ad lands a low blow on King to loud boos from the crowd, before he runs off the ropes and springboards looking for the You’re Going Down-ing Street, his springboard DDT – but as he leans back King catches him and hauls Scorpio up onto his shoulders and begins the airplane spin before dropping into the death valley driver – Eye In The Sky! He makes the cover

kickout from Scorpio.
Woo: Scorpio is still in this!
Gomez: At this level, I'm not surprised.
King wastes no time in getting back into it as he hauls Scorpio up off the mat and brings him crashing down with a back suplex. He hauls Scorpio back off the mat and slams him with a European uppercut sending the challenger stumbling back into the corner. The S-Factor tries to rally but is immediately caught in King’s grasp with a spinal wipe into an STO sending him right back into the turnbuckles – Big Slick! The crowd give a pop for the elevated version of Ace’s signature before they get even louder as he hauls Scorpio up for a vertical suplex and the crowd shout ONE. He turns it round right into a second – TWO! He rolls it through and hauls Scorpio up again – THREE! Ace goes to drag Scorpio up – but the challenger rakes King’s eyes! The crowd boo as The Gambler stumbles back and Scorpio dropkicks his knee before hauling King face-first to the middle rope, placing his neck right on it. Scorpio drives a knee into King’s back and hauls on the top rope putting on the pressure as the referee begins to count. He reaches four and Scorpio lets go with his hands up as if he was doing nothing wrong, before going right back into the knee on King’s back. Once again the count reaches four and Scorpio breaks it avoiding the disqualification. He smirks to the jeering crowd before turning back to Ace – only this time he uses the champions’ back as a launchpad to fly over the top rope and twist around into a facebreaker as he lands on the outside, bouncing King’s neck off the middle rope. King stumbles back coughing and spluttering as Scorpio slides into the ring and rolls him up

King breaks free and gets to his feet before turning right into a sharp roundhouse from Scorpio who then catches him in a small package –

King breaks free once more and this time he turns around – right into the Brexit Means Brexit lariat from Scorpio! The S-Factor covers…

T—King gets the shoulder up!!!
Woo: He damn near took King's head off with that and STILL he kicks out!
Gomez: We spoke earlier about kicking out in matches of this level. Ace King would probably kick out even if his head WAS removed!
Scorpio is seething at the kickout before he stares across the ring at Ace King and begins to stalk him, a common set-up for the AGR. The crowd begin to boo realising what’s coming as King stumbles to his fee and turns around right as Scorpio leaps – but the champion catches him and hauls him up on his shoulders – BLACJACK BOMB—NO SCORPIO WRIGGLES FREE and scuttles across the ring looking like he just dodged a bullet. He pauses briefly in the corner and gives himself a pep talk before turning around – right into a Full House roundhouse kick from King! The S-Factor crashes into the corner and King hauls him up and onto the top rope before climbing up himself.
Ace shouts out that there’s still a fourth from the Four Of A Kind vertical suplexes to go for and the crowd cheer as he hauls Scorpio up, but Scorpio gets a knee to his head and breaks free causing Ace to stumble back to the mat. Scorpio then leaps going for a diving hurricanrana – but it’s converted into a powerbomb by Ace sending Scorpio back into the turnbuckles – BUT ACE KEEPS HOLD OF THE LEGS AND HAULS SCORPIO OUT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING BEFORE HOOKING HIM UP INTO AN INVERTED CLOVERLEAF, THE HOUSE OF CARDS!!!
The crowd are on their feet as King has Scorpio locked up in his submissive finisher and the arena comes alive with Scorpio’s screams. Scorpio desperately tries to reach for the bottom rope as King begins to sit back into the hold putting on more pressure. The S-Factor attempts to relieve the pressure but is getting nowhere as he clenches his fists and punches the mat. The fans are shouting TAP TAP TAP TAP at him as he claws for the bottom rope once more but is in the middle of the ring. King yells out as he wrenches back harder and Scorpio raises his hand, it’s shaking, he’s trying not to but he can’t – HE TAPS OUT!
BUT NOT BEFORE CRÈME DE LA CRÈME COMES FROM NOWHERE TO PULL ON THE REFEREE’S FEET AND DRAG HIM TO THE MAT STOPPING THE CALL BEING MADE!!!! King releases the hold and turns to the referee thinking he’s won the match and his face is a picture of fury as he stares at Crème’s interference. Scorpio is in the corner clutches his legs in agony as Crème smirks at Ace before she slides into the ring steel chair in hand. The fans are booing as Crème raises the chair and King screams at her to bring it on –
CRÈME SWINGS THE CHAIR AND ACE KING STRAIGHT UP PUNCHES STRAIGHT THROUGH THE CHAIR INTO CRÈME’S HEAD! THE CROWD GOES WILD AS CRÈME STAGGERS BACK AND ACE SCOOPS HER UP AND THROWS HER CLEAN OVER THE TOP ROPE INTO THE RINGSIDE BARRIER! The fans go wild as King yells out and turns around – RIGHT INTO A STEEL CHAIR SHOT FROM SCORPIO! He remains standing as Scorpio tosses the chair to hide the evidence and spins around – AGR! AGR! AGR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! THE CROWD BOO AS SCORPIO MAKES THE COVER AND THE REFEREE COMES TO…
ONE… ….
TWO… …
THRE—NO! ACE GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!!
Woo: How? How did he kick out of that?
Gomez: I think these two may actually have to kill to keep the other one down!
Scorpio looks utterly furious that the match isn’t his yet before he stares down at Ace on the mat and a sick grin spreads over his face. Ace tries to push himself up and Scorpio straight up boots the side of his face, rolling him over onto his front. The challenger then claws at King’s sides to get at his hands before he twists the Gambler’s legs around one of his own. The crowd are booing loudly as they see what he’s going for and Scorpio gives a loud laugh as he hauls up on King’s arms lifting his head up – BEFORE PLANTING A LOUBOUTIN HEEL ON THE BACK OF KING’S HEAD, DRIVING HIM DOWN WITH THE 28TH AMENDMENT! THE CROWD DESCEND INTO BOOS KNOWING THIS IS ONE OF SCORPIO’S MOST LETHAL MOVES AS HE MAKES THE COVER…

WAIT! NO! KING HAS A BOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE AND MARVEL STADIUM EXPLODES WITH CHEERS AS SCORPIO CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT’S JUST HAPPENED!!! He’s straight on his feet screaming in the referee’s face as behind him King uses the ropes to haul himself up. Scorpio is shaking his head wondering where to go next before he turns around and goes for an AGR – but King throws him off. He rolls off the mat and grabs at King’s arm, twisting around for the Heel Turn – but King grabs the foot and shoves Scorpio back before retreating to the corner to regroup after the curbstomp. Scorpio screams out before he runs at King and leaps up – AND GETS CAUGHT INTO THE TORTURE RACK – BLACKJACK BOMB! THIS TIME HE LANDS! KING MAKES THE COVER… ONE… TWO… THREE! NO! SCORPIO THROWS THE SHOULDER UP AT THE LAST MILLISECOND!!! The crowd are on the edge of their seats for this one…
Ace King is staring down at Scorpio before he clenches and unclenches his fists before he hauls Scorpio up once again. He lands a couple of shots on the challenger before he hooks Scorpio up into the torture rack only for Scorpio to break free and dropkick Ace forward into the turnbuckles. Scorpio looks desperate as he turns Ace around and sits him on the top rope. He climbs to the second rope and hooks Ace’s head as the crowd boo and Scorpio shouts out – TOP ROPE AGR! BUT NO ACE COMES TO LIFE AND CLUTCHES AT THE ROPES AND SCORPIO’S NECK, SAVING HIMSELF AND KEEPING THE CHALLENGER HANGING THERE. USING EVERY LAST BIT OF STRENGTH HE HAS HE DRAGS SCORPIO UP TO THE TOP ROPE WITH HIM BEFORE PUTTING HIM INTO THE ELECTRIC CHAIR AND LEAPING – TOP ROPE POCKET ACES!!!! THE CROWD GOES WILD AS SCORPIO IS OUT COLD AND KING MAKES THE COVER…

The crowd are going wild as Ace King gets to his feet and stares down at the defeated challenger. He almost seems to have a grudging respect before he raises the Undisputed Championship above his head and climbs from the ring. King heads to the back slapping hands with the fans as he goes
Woo: We spoke about the fight in both these men and the willingness to kick out again and again. We just saw what Ace had to and was willing to do to keep Scorpio down.
Gomez: Scorpio gave everything and then some here but it wasn't to be.
Woo: As a result of this match Ace King has all but punched his ticket to Wrestlefest but who will join him? We will find out when we have the huge Rumble Match in mere moments
Gomez: but first, let's get some shameless plugs in!

WINNER TO FIGHT AT WRESTLEFEST FOR THE EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP
MATCH WRITER: President Mac
We return to ringside where the ring has been cleared and prepared for the Main Event. The fans are cheering and chanting as Marcus tries to speak over the incredibly loud and excited EWC fanbase here in Melbourne.
Woo: What an absolutely incredible EWC Rumble this has been so far, but now, all eyes are fixed on the shows namesake, as the time has come for the Main Event.
Gomez: Forty Wrestlers will compete tonight, we know thirty-nine of them but one remains a mystery. We also know that Jordan Sharpe and Melody Malone will be starting things off, but who comes after, we have no idea. Jordan Sharpe entered the Rumble at number forty last year, this year he wont have the luxury of being the most rested. While Melody Malone will hope for a repeat performance of her Rumble win just two years ago.
Woo: The winner of tonight's EWC Rumble will headline the four-day wrestling festival known as, WrestleFest XIX in December. They will compete for the EWC Undisputed Championship, and as we've seen in years past, winning the Rumble brings a lot of momentum with it. Look no further than last year, Stitches won the Rumble then defeated Jordan Sharpe at WrestleFest to become the EWC Undisputed Champion. The year before that, Melody Malone won the Rumble and defeated Cyrus Black at WrestleFest to become EWC Undisputed Champion, and going back one more year, Dominic Sanders won the Rumble then went into WrestleFest and defeated Candy to become EWC Undisputed Champion. So we've had three straight years where the Rumble winners has won the EWC Undisputed Championship at WrestleFest.
Gomez: The last bunch of winners have been: Stitches winning last year, Melody Malone, Dominic Sanders, Ace King, Otaki, Shadow Man, Jay Cee & Xplode, Mr. Strange, Amy Rosen, Jay Cee, and Jackal. Stitches and Melody Malone are the only former Rumble winners to be back again this year, lets see if either of have them has what it takes to get a second Rumble win, but something tells me they will have giant targets on their backs.
Woo: Some things to watch for, Stitches lost his EWC X-Division Championship to El Pablo earlier tonight, I expect Stitches to be out for a bit of revenge, and I also expect both wrestlers to be somewhat fatigued after that intense battle. Tyler Bradford has a win and a loss already tonight, how much energy will he have left in him in the Rumble? David Miller defeated Marcu$ $t. John for the EWC North American Championship and enters this as a dual champion. Both are in the Rumble, I assume they very well might pick up where they left off. Eddie Dozier and Melody Malone are two others who already had matches tonight. So you have to wonder how much that will play into performances tonight. Who will win? We are inching closer to finding out as Nina Dobrev is now ringside about to get this match underway.
Dobrev: Welcome to the Main Event, the 40 Person Rumble match. After our first two entrants, there will be another entrant every 30 seconds until the 40th and final wrestler comes out. To eliminate an opponent, they must go over the top-rope and with both feet touching the floor. The winner of the EWC Rumble is the last wrestler remaining after all others have been eliminated. Joining us first, from New Brunswick, Canada, weighing in at 230 pounds ... JORDAN FREAKING SHARPE!!!
Jordan Sharpe comes out, wearing the newest JFS Officially Licensed T-Shirt. He heads down the ramp with gusto, with plenty of merch to pass out for the fans whether it be hats, shirts, tumblers, pop sockets. He hands them out to any kids, neckbeards or people he thinks are cool beans. As he makes it out to the ring, the fans chant 'NO!' after each 'You ain't ready' in his entrance music as he poses against the ropes.
Dobrev: And his first opponent, from San Diego, California, weighing in at 145 pounds ... THE QUEEN OF THE EWC AND YOUR NEW EWC UNITED STATES CHAMPION ... MELODY MALONE!!!
The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown” begin to play over the P.A. system. Melody comes out from backstage with her crown upon her head and her personal retainer Rory Hyland in tow. She’s unflinching to the crowd’s expression as she comes down the entrance ramp with the EWC United States Championship hanging over her shoulder. Rory gets onto the apron, holding the ropes open for Melody to climb through without losing her crown or championship belt. As Melody climbs into the ring, she gives the crowd a sarcastic smile before she relinquishes the crown and EWC United States Championship to Rory and locks eyes with Jordan Sharpe.
Woo: These two are ready to fight .. its Sharpe, its Malone, its the Main Event .. ring that bell!
DING DING DING
With the bell sounding, Jordan Sharpe and the EWC United States Champion begin to circle each other, taunting each other to make the first move. The fans are cheering at a fever pitch right now as Melody and Jordan charge at each other and lock up in the middle of the ring. Camera flashes go off all around the stadium.
Jordan gets the better of the tired Melody Malone as he gets her into a headlock and then slams her hard into the mat. The crowd is really into the match and Jordan is soaking in the moment. While JFS is acknowledging his fans, the evil Queen takes advantage and kicks Jordan in the delicates. He immediately drops to his knees in pain and Melody smirks as she uses the ropes to get back to her feet.
Woo: That is no way for a mother to treat her son, I felt that, felt it right inside my dick
Gomez: Look, Melody had an incredibly exhausting match earlier tonight, she needs to take advantage of every edge she can get if she wants to survive this thing. If she needs to kick a man in the dick, so be it. I support the move.
The crowd is exited to see who the next entrant is as the clock gets to 0 and the buzzer sounds
ENTRANT #3 - THE MAD LAD NIGHTCALL
Nightcall comes running down to the ring, he slides in and is immediately attacked by Jordan Sharpe. Jordan manages to hit Nightcall with The Freakin Boot to the face, which drops Nightcall to his knees. Melody Malone who has dangerously made her way to the top rope in the corner, lands a Corkscrew senton on Nightcall. Even more shockingly, the EWC United States Champion and Sharpe both grab Nightcall and send him flying over the ropes, eliminating him.
THE MAD LAD NIGHTCALL HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Wow, I don't know what's more surprising, the fact Nightcall only lasted about 15 seconds in the ring or the fact Sharpe and Malone just teamed up.
Gomez: I'd say the former Broadcast Champion being tossed that quickly is surprising as hell. He looks injured too, hopefully he feels better by the Weeknd (smirks)
Jordan with a surprise elbow and knee combo strike to Melody causes her to drop onto the mat with a thud. Jordan adjusts his downstairs again and this time doesn’t stop to acknowledge the fans, instead grabbing Melody’s hair, he drags her across the ring and gets her up in the air and over the ropes!!
Woo: Oh my goodness, Jordan has ..
Melody had both hands on the ropes and manages to stay on the apron, she then uses the top rope to flip back into the ring and nails Jordan with THE NOBLE PURSIUT!
Gomez: Holy shit!
Woo: And this is the way we are starting the match?
Once again the clock hits zero and the fans look to the rampway to see who is coming out next, while Melody Malone and Jordan Sharpe both lay on the mat breathing heavily.
ENTRANT #4 - JOSH GAVIN
The fans cheer loudly as Josh Gavin comes flying down the ramp and slides into the ring. Josh sees Jordan Sharpe and Melody Malone both laying in the middle of the ring and looks around at all the screaming and cheering fans. He walks past Sharpe and goes straight for the United States Champion. He grabs her by the hair and gets her to her feet. Gavin looks like a giant standing with Malone, he uses his six foot five frame with all his might as he headbutts Melody and then choke slams her hard to the mat. Melody rolls out of the ring and his the ground hard.
Woo: Wow, Josh Gavin is making his mark in this match tonight. The fans are loving it too.
Gomez: Pretty sure he might have broken Melody's nose with that headbutt. She will not be happy about that. And now we are stuck with two Canadians in the ring, both Sharpe and Gavin hail from New Brunswick.
Jordan Sharpe is back to his feet now, while Josh Gavin is leaning against the ropes with a giant grin on his face. Jordan looks over at Josh, then looks over the ropes to see Melody Malone with a bloody nose, Jordan looks back to Josh and Josh winks at him. That's when the countdown hits 0 and the buzzer sounds once more. Josh and Jordan look to the ramp along with the fans to see who comes out next. The fans cheer as Killjoy Ito makes his way down the ramp, taking his time coming down.
ENTRANT #5 - KILLJOY ITO
With Jordan and Josh having eyes on Ito making his way to the ring, Melody Malone grabs Josh's ankles from outside the ring and pulls them with all her might, causing the big Canadian to fall flat on his face. She then hops onto the apron and flips over the ropes at the same time Ito enters from the other side of the ring. Ito and Jordan Sharpe lock up as the very angry and bloodied Queen of Rampage goes to work on Josh Gavin.
Woo: You were right about Melody, she's definitely pissed off and is taken out all her rage on the Harbinger of Destruction.
Gomez: Josh started out like the God of Thunder, and now he's looking more like a joke.
Woo: I low-key like what you did there.
Ito and Sharpe are trading punches when Ito manages to get a kick to the midsection of Sharpe, and then drills Jordan hard into the mat with a Death Valley Driver. The entire ring shakes with the move. Gavin grabs hold of Melody's boot and twists her ankle causing her to drop to her ass, he then locks her into a figure four. It's at this time the clock hits zero and the buzzer sounds again. Jack Severn makes his way down the ramp to a chorus of boos from the fans.
ENTRANT #6 - JACK SEVERN
Jack Severn enters the ring. He looks over at Ito and Sharpe, and then spots Gavin trying to eliminate an exhausted Melody Malone. Jack runs over and hits Gavin from behind. Josh Gavin lets go of Melody and turns his attention to Jack Severn. The smaller Severn taunts Josh Gavin and dares him to make a move, that's when Josh lands a right hook out of nowhere, then grabs Jack, sends him against the ropes and nails him with Masamune. Once again the entire ring shakes with the spear. Josh Gavin gets Jack to his feet and throws him over the ropes with ease.
JACK SEVERN HAS BEEN ELIMINTATED
Woo: That's two very quick eliminations tonight. Things aren't looking so good for Monday Night Brawl so far tonight.
Gomez: I have to admit, Josh Gavin is the real deal. He's looking monstrous out there tonight.
The clock hits zero and making her way down the ramp is "La Belicista" Isabella, who is met with a mixed reactions from the fans.
ENTRANT #7 - "LA BELICISTA" ISABELLA
The Mexican ex-Marine slides into the ring where Ito has Jordan Sharpe against the ropes, and Josh Gavin continues to stalk Melody Malone. Isabella looks over at her fellow Paramount stars and decides to avoid them and instead surprises Josh Gavin from behind, locking in his arms, Gavin chuckles as the five foot eight Isabella uses her entire one hundred and sixty four pound frame to try and pull him back, which opens up Melody Malone to strike as she manages to get some height with a standing drop kick, catching Gavin in the throat.
Woo: GOOD LORD! She trying to break his Adam's apple?
Gomez: Hard to say, might have hit his larynx or maybe even his thyroid. Either way, big man go down hard.
Woo: Ok there Tarzan
Gomez: That makes you ... Jane? Nah, you aren't pretty enough. Lets settle on Cheeta.
Woo: That's racist.
Gomez: What? How?
Woo: I don't know. Prepare to be cancelled.
Melody Malone and Isabella seemed to have formed a temporary alliance against Josh Gavin as the two are trying to eliminate him from the ring. Meanwhile Jordan Sharpe has managed to keep himself in the ring and nails Killjoy Ito with a European Uppercut sending him flying into the ropes. Jordan works at the body with Ito in the corner when the buzzer sounds. All eyes are on the entrance to see who comes out next. Low and behold its none other than .. Candy! The crowd erupts in cheers as The Sweet Treat makes her way out.
ENTRANT #8 - CANDY
Jordan Sharpe grins when he sees Candy making her way down the ramp as he continues to work on Ito in the corner. Candy slides into the ring and immediately the two 3C members go to work together, trying to eliminate last years runner-up. Meanwhile Josh Gavin has turned the tables on Isabella and Malone as he has both women in chokeholds.
Woo: Lets see if Candy can outlast the other two Monday Night Brawl superstars that came before her.
Gomez: This is a former EWC Undisputed Champion you are talking about, of course she will do BRAWL proud.
Isabella and Malone are both trying to break free of the hold that Josh Gavin has on them, when they both look to each other and give a bit of a nod, then the two of them both kick Josh Gavin in the donger, which causes him to break the hold and topple over. Isabella and Malone then send Josh through the ropes. The buzzer sounds once again and fans give a mixed reaction as Moxie makes his way down to the ring.
ENTRANT #9 - MOXIE
Moxie slides into the ring and grabs JFS from behind, twisting him so that they are face to face, he hits him with a huge uppercut, dropping Sharpe who then slides out of the ring to collect himself. He then superkicks Ito through the ropes sending Ito outside the ring also. Moxie then Clotheslines Candy who also goes through the ropes and lands outside the ring. Melody goes to attack her fellow Rampage star but Moxie grabs her fingers and begins to bend them, the joint manipulation drops Melody to her knees, Moxie then hits her in the face with his forearm and Melody slides out of the ring as her nose is once again bleeding. Isabella sees the carnage and rolls out of the ring also. Moxie stands alone in the middle of the ring and lets out a monstrous roar as the mixed crowd are starting to get behind him a little.
Woo: Mox just came in and cleared out the entire ring. What a bloody impressive entrance.
Gomez: Moxie might not have been a household name coming into this event, but people will definitely take notice. He's a young fighter, from Tottenham. You can thank former EWC superstar Amis Shelton, who turned him onto the EWC.
Josh Gavin hops onto the apron and Moxie taunts him, telling him to enter at his own risk. The countdown hits zero and the buzzer sounds which throws Moxie off a little, allowing Josh Gavin to hope over the ropes and enter the ring. Coming down to the ring is another Rampage Superstar, as Autumn Raven is met with boo's, some fans even throwing popcorn at her. Raven pays no attention as she runs down the ramp and tackles Isabella from behind. The two begin fighting outside the ring.
ENTRANT #10 - AUTUMN RAVEN
With Josh Gavin and Moxie trading blows in the middle of the ring .. JFS, Candy, Killjoy Ito and Melody Malone all make their way back into the ring. Autumn Raven is slammed into the barricades by Isabella, who then drags her by the hair and throws her into the ring. Isabella then hops onto the apron and slides into the ring also. Candy and Melody Malone are tangled up in the corner, while JFS and Ito have picked up where they left off. Gavin with a huge headbutt to Moxie, drops him to his knees, he then lands several chops across his Moxie's chest before dropping him with a knee to the face. Isabella continues to work on Raven and nails her with Código Rojo! She then picks her up and sends her over the ropes to the delight of the fans.
AUTUMN RAVEN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Woo: Another very quick elimination. Isabella gets the best revenge possible on Raven as she sends her packing early.
Gomez: I had high hopes for Autumn Raven coming into this, but Isabella is my spirit animal tonight. I love how feisty she is.
Josh Gavin has Moxie in the corner but Moxie is fighting back as the two continue to trade blows. JFS is on-top of Ito on the mat and is trying to land punches to the face but Ito is doing his best to block them. Candy and Melody are tangled up in the corner. The buzzer sounds and the fans get excited as Paramount Wrestling's dual champion, David Miller makes his way down to the ring.
ENTRANT #11 - DAVID MILLER
The newly crowned EWC North American Champion makes his way down the ramp, with a look of focus and determination on his face. He doesn't enter right away but instead circles the outside of the ring looking for the right point of entry.
Woo: The CW Broadcast Champion and EWC North American Champion is being smart about entering this match. He normally isn't the type who plays it safe, but considering what he went through earlier tonight, this is a very good approach.
Gomez: A number of wrestlers in this main event have been double booked or triple booked tonight, so preserving energy is probably best, even though this is a different approach than what we are accustomed to seeing from the brawler.
Miller climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring away from where most of the action is happening. He then slaps his own face a few times and charges like a bull at Moxie, tackling him to the mat and starts throwing lefts and rights at him. Josh Gavin turns his attention to helping JFS in his attempt to toss Ito over. Killjoy is almost over the ropes when Buddy love comes running from the stands. Alex smirks as Buddy Love comes running past her as he runs up the ramp and to the backstage area. Alex makes her way down to the ring and slides in, joining in on the chaos that is happening in the ring.
Woo: That gives us nine wrestlers in the ring right now, three eliminations so far, and a whole lotta match left to go.
Gomez: Alex was born in Medellín, Colombia but now resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. She's of course famous for being the President of the Shieldmaidens MC and she's one of my personal faves here tonight.

MIO YOSHINO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Mio looks around in total shock as she was quickly eliminated.
Woo: What is going on with Monday Night Brawl tonight? Seems everyone but Candy can't stay in the ring longer than 15 seconds.
Gomez: I am as floored as Mio right now. I honestly thought Mio was going to be one of the sleepers of the night, you can tell she isn't pleased with this result and Alex looks like a total badass in the ring right now with how quickly she dealt with Mio.
Moxie is back in the ring and is working alongside Josh Gavin against David Miller. Candy and JFS are working together at trying to eliminate Melody Malone, but that is broken up with Killjoy Ito sweeps the legs of JFS and then hits Candy with a dropkick. He then headbutts Moxie and drops him with a delayed fall away slam. Phoenix makes his way down the ramp and slaps fives along the way.
Woo: The Rampage Superstar is back from injury, what a pleasant surprise to see him back in the ring.
Gomez: Winterborn has shown a lot of promise and could be the Darkhorse of the match if he's back at 100%.
El Pablo and Killjoy Ito almost have JFS over the ropes but JFS is bailed out by Josh Gavin who decides to keep his fellow Canadian alive in the ring. Gavin and Sharpe then team up against El Pablo and Ito. Melody Malone drops Candy with the Crowning Achievement, but the United States Champion looks completely gassed as she lays on her back breathing heavily. Phoenix who just entered the ring, is taking advantage of a gassed Moxie with Reign of Fire! What a return for Winterborn. With everyone distracted, Addy makes her way to the top rope and launches herself in a Air Addy onto Candy and Malone, taking them both down.
Woo: A very dangerous move to pull off during a Rumble but damn does it look spectacular when you pull that off successfully.
Gomez: She's a high flying youngion, I respect the risk, but you're right, that's a risky move when you have a ring full of people.

MEGUMI HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: OH ... MY ... GOD!!!!
Gomez: I .. I've been covering wrestling for a long time, THAT is the most brutal thing I think I've seen in the last decade. I hope Megumi will be ok. That was just devastating.
Woo: And this is exactly what we were just talking about. These types of big risk moves, we saw one pay off but this one did not. I suspect everyone after Megumi will be more cautious with these types of maneuvers.
Medics are attending to Megumi while the chaos continues in the ring. The buzzer sounds and out comes the former EWC North American Champion, Marcu$ $t.John. He is met with a deafening amount of boos as he makes his way down the ramp.

El Pablo, Candy, Killjoy Ito and Jamie Love end up all working together to clear the ring as The Love Club members Jamie and Ito high five in the middle of the ring.
Woo: Look at that, its an empty ring with just El Pablo, Candy and the Love Club standing in the ring, and the crowd is loving it.

The clock is back to zero, the buzzer sounds and out comes EWC PRIME's "The Artist" Aaron Kostan to a handful of cheers from the crowd.
ENTRANT #23 - AARON KOSTAN

Alex grabs Gabrielle by the hair and sends her flying over the top rope.
GABRIELLE VISCONTY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: This is a surprise, I think most people expected Visconty to make the final four, especially based on her Legends of the Cage performance, but here we are, Alex Blade making a big time statement.
Gomez: Very sad to see Gabi-V eliminated so early on. We are now sitting at twenty-two wrestlers in the ring currently.
Marcu$ $t. John whips David Miller into the corner, but before he can continue working on him, Alex Carbajal gets in his way with a running knee strike. Alex then tries to get M$J into Dios Es Una Bala, but he moves out of the way as she misses with the elbow, Marcu$ then headbutts her, followed by a knee to the stomach and then he lifts her up and Bread and Butter!! Marcu$ then gets Alex to her feet and tosses her over the top rope, eliminating her.

Mark Keaton is back to his feet and using the ropes to stay standing when out of nowhere Candy hits him with a superkick, sending him over the top and hitting the around hard.
MARK KEATON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: What a kick by Candy. Mark will be seeing gummy bears instead of stars when he comes to.
Gomez: I think she might have broken his air guitar.
Jason Hunter pushes off Mercenary, runs to the ropes, jumps onto the second rope then immediately slingshots himself off onto Mercenary nailing him with the X! The fans in attendance absolutely erupt in cheers. Meanwhile Alex Blade has Aquilla in the air and gets her over the top rope but she lands on the apron just outside the ring, then quickly jumps to the top rope and Springboard Clothesline on Alex Blade. Another huge pop from the fans. The buzzer hits and out comes James Keaton, who is met with boos as he makes his way down.
ENTRANT #32 - JAMES KEATON

ADRIANA AQUILLA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Wow back to back eliminations just now with Alex Blade and Adriana going over within seconds of each other.
Gomez: Big mistake made by Adriana, you can't stop to celebrate when you have a ring full of opponents. Lesson learned, the hard way unfortunately for her.
Eddie Dozier with a DDT on Jason Hunter. Marcu$ has Stitches on the ropes and is trying to eliminate him. Pence and Miller are brawling against the ropes, having their own boxing match it seems. Isabella has Melody Malone locked in FUBAR near the ropes. Jordan Sharpe drills Liz Idol with The Freakin Boot which sends her through the ropes and to the outside of the ring. As Jordan turns around, James Keaton catches him with a European uppercut followed very quickly with a DDT. The buzzer then sounds and like a bat out of hell comes Heaven "Nevaeh" Leigh. The fans boo as she comes running down to the ring.
ENTRANT #33 - NEVAEH
Nevaeh slides into the ring and immediately attacks M$J who was moments away from eliminating her tag team partner, Stitches. She catches him with a spinning back fist, then a kick to the midsection. Stitches with a huge elbow to the back of M$J's head, drops him down to the mat. Stitches then grabs his feet and places them on the ropes, as Nevaeh hits M$J with a Spiked DDT.
Woo: Now THAT is teamwork. Nev arrived in the nick of time as Stitches was almost out of the ring.
Gomez: Got to love the loyalty here by Nev. She could have eliminated last years Rumble winner with ease, instead helps her teammate and also helps get revenge for his loss earlier tonight.
The buzzer sounds and out comes the man known as "Major League Snoop" "El Gran Hombre" "Asesino de odio" .. Friday Night Rampage's very own Snoop Solano, who is met with mostly cheers and excitement from the rowdy audience.

The crowd with a HOLY SHIT chant.
Woo: Holy headache Batman. She's going to need a Costco membership to get Motrin in bulk after that.
Gomez: Patrick James with a statement right there. Welcome to the EWC Mr. Insider.
Patrick sends Liz into the ring and then joins her. Snoop Solano and Jason Hunter are trading punches but Jason with a gut kick, then sends Snoop to the ropes but on the way back Snoop with a absolutely monstrous Conflict Strike, drops Jason right there. James Keaton gets Patrick James to his feet and sends him flying into the turnbuckle. Keaton charges at him and nails him with a spear. He then sets Patrick James on the ropes and flips him over the top.
PATRICK JAMES HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Well that's a shame, I was actually excited to see what Patrick was going to bring to this event. In his brief moments, he did look good. Lots of promise for the fantasy football guru.
Gomez: He needs some more fights under his belt on PRIME, but I agree, he shows promise.
Darius has immediately targeted Jordan Sharpe in the ring, and drills him with The Hunter's Mark. The ring shakes and rattles once more with twenty-two wrestlers currently in the ring. The buzzer sounds and out comes Headhuntress Aiya who is met with mostly boo's from the fans.

Darius then turns around and his met with Beautiful Disasterpiece which drops him down next to Jordan Sharpe, who takes advantage of the opportunity and unleashes a fury of punches. Aiya now in the ring locks up with Isabella and lays her out with OTK!
Woo: What a deadly buzzsaw kick that was from Aiya.
Gomez: We are inching closer and closer to everyone being out. Only three more EWC Superstars left to join in on the .. do we call this fun?
Mercenary and Eddie Dozier almost have Josh Gavin over the top, but Josh continues to fight them off. Josh gets some help from JFS who has left Darius behind to help out the man who bailed him out earlier tonight. Jordan and Eddie are now locked up and battling in the corner. Josh Gavin with a brutal Dragelix Kick on Mercenary. Josh Gavin is out of breath, clearly exhausted, and Snoop Solano takes advantage with a jumping high kick which sends Gavin flying against the ropes but not enough to send him over, but then Snoop follows up with Conflict Ender!!! And the big man is half out of the ring, Snoop quickly runs and clotheslines Josh Gavin eliminating him.

The buzzer sounds once more and out comes the EWC International Champion, Xavier Reid, who is met with mostly boo's.
ENTRANT #38 - XAVIER REID
Xavier Reid comes flying down to the ring, slides in and begins hitting anyone and everyone. Reid is throwing lefts, rights, kicks, headbutts, he's cleaning house. There are bodies dropping all over the ring as he is going absolutely insane on everyone.
Woo: The EWC International Champion just entered this Rumble like a Tornado of fists and feet. He just cleared the ring and he's feeding off all the boo's from the Melbourne faithful.
David Miller is the first person back to his feet and immediately tackles Reid, but Reid quickly gets on top and starts unloading lefts and rights. Darius comes up from behind and puts Reid into a headlock while David Miller jumps up and starts working the body of Reid. The buzzer sounds and the fans are mostly cheering as Narumi Tsutsumi makes her way down to the ring.
ENTRANT #39 - NARUMI TSUTSUMI
Phoenix Winterborn and Pence Weatherlight almost have El Pablo over the top, but very surprisingly, Xavier Reid manages to make his way over and grabs hold of El Pablo before he falls over.
Woo: Xavier Reid just saved his brother from elimination!
Gomez: That was a close call, the EWC X-Division Champion was as close to hitting the ground as one can get. Big save from Reid.
El Pablo and Xavier Reid are now teaming up against Eddie Dozier who tried to push Reid over when he saved El Pablo. Headhuntress Aiya with a big time spinning kick, she lands the SOS on James Keaton which sends him flying against the ropes. At the same time, the buzzer goes off and our final entrant is about to come out, it's the FX Broadcast Champion, and other half of the tag team Sabotage, Tyler Bradford. He comes out to plenty of boo's and garbage being thrown at him. Tyler soaks in the boo's and laughs to himself. One fan wearing a Miami Dolphins t-shirt gives him the finger.
ENTRANT #40 - TYLER BRADFORD
Aiya with several elbows to the head of James Keaton, and then a powerful clothesline finally sends him over, Aiya goes over too but manages to hang onto the ropes while James Keaton lands right in front of Tyler Bradford and is eliminated. Tyler looks down at James Keaton calls him a "LOSER", steps over him and enters the ring.
JAMES KEATON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Gomez: I wonder what was with that Miami Dolphin's fan. He seemed overly aggressive towards Tyler Bradford.
Woo: Who knows, maybe someone spoiled the results for him when he was planning to watch the game later.
Gomez: That'd oddly specific.
Woo: It's happened to me. It sucks. Nothing a few beers doesn't cure.
Ruby Clifton is working on trying to eliminate Candy, when Melody Malone is pushed into them by Isabella. There is a massive brawl against the ropes where Jordan Sharpe, Killjoy Ito, Moxie, and Jamie Love are working to eliminate Mercenary who is hanging on for dear life, while Dozier and Bradford are attempting to clean house by working together. Tyler Bradford with a Eye Gouge to Pence Weatherlight and then a big time body-slam. Tyler then turns around and see's Stitches against the ropes so he runs up and Shhhhh!!!! Candy sends Ruby Clifton flying into the ropes but Jason Hunter is there, bends and flips Ruby up and over the ropes, eliminating her.
RUBY CLIFTON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Eddie Dozier with an elbow to the back of Ito and then thanks to a setup from Tyler Bradford, slams Moxie into Sacrifice!! Mercenary is dazed against the ropes after having four wrestlers working on him the last several minutes. Phoenix Winterborn seizes the opportunity and clotheslines Mercenary, but he doesn't go over. Melody Malone is pushed into Phoenix and Phoenix points at Mercenary, Melody nods and each of them grabs a leg and flip him over the ropes.
MERCENARY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Wouldn't have expected to see Winterborn and Malone working together, but here we are and there goes Mercenary. The big man is finally sent out of the ring after several tried to do it for the better part of forty minutes or so.
Darius with a powerful Chokeslam on David Miller. Darius is then immediately clotheslined by Xavier Reid. Darius gets back up and starts to charge at Reid but The BEAST Slayer!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Darius is down!! David Miller is using the ropes to get back to his feet when Marcu$ sneaks up from behind and clotheslines David Miller over the top rope!!!! Maruc$ celebrates his revenge but Miller held onto the ropes, he wasn't eliminated. El Pablo sees Miller hanging on and runs and hits him with a sliding kick to the head, causing Miller to let go.
DAVID MILLER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Whoa! Miller just got eliminated by El Pablo! I thought Miller was going to last till the end, that's a big time shocker.
Gomez: Miller had a strong performance tonight. El Pablo made the right move here, he got rid of a heavy contender to win it all. Marcu$ needs to finish his eliminations though, he owes El Pablo a box of skittles
Darius with The Hunter's Mark on Phoenix Winterborn. He then gets Phoenix back to his feet props him against the ropes and hits him with several chops across the chest until Phoenix is bleeding. Meanwhile El Pablo, Darius, Reid, Marcu$, Dozier, Bradford, Weatherlight, JFS, Jamie Love, Stitches, Killjoy Ito and Moxie are all battling along the ropes. Its a brawl between all of them, applying plenty of pressure against the ropes.
Woo: Those ropes look like the elastic waist in my thanksgiving pants
Gomez: Huh?
Woo: Don't shame me .. I like to eat, especially during the holidays
Headhuntress Aiya decides to get involved in the brawl along the ropes and catches Bradford from behind with SOS!! Tyler drops to his knees and Aiya gets him again with a spinning kick to the back of the head. Eddie Dozier spots what happened out of the corner of his eye, he releases his old on Sharpe and heads over to Aiya, spinning her around and sends her into the ropes with a Irish Whip and then into a Big Boot on the return. Eddie then picks up Aiya and Kentucky Deluxe over the top rope!!!
HEADHUNTRESS AIYA HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

EL PABLO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: OH NO! El Pablo had JUST broken free of Marcu$ and now his brother, who was trying to help him, just eliminated him!
Jordan Sharpe just caught Eddie Dozier with The BFPT, and Eddies nose is busted open as he drops to his knees, and now a spinning kick by Sharpe puts Eddie down for the moment. Before Sharpe can even get to Eddie again, he is mauled by Pence who takes him down with a huge spear. Darius has Jamie Love above his head and attempts to throw him over, but Jamie somehow wiggles out of the hold and drops behind Darius. Moxie and Tyler Bradford both see an opening and they both superkick Darius, who tumbles backwards over Jamie Love and over the top ropes. Darius manages to hang on with one hand but Moxie and Bradford finish the job by kicking him loose.
DARIUS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Xavier Reid is still dazed in the corner, when suddenly from out of the stands comes King Flip, he slides into the ring and delivers a cactus clothesline sending both Flip and Reid flying over the top ropes.
XAVIER REID HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: What the hell just happened?
Gomez: Why is King Flip here? And what the hell just happened?
Woo: I don't think I've ever seen anything like that happen before, is that even allowed?
Xavier Reid and King Flip are now in a full blown brawl outside the ring. Pence Weatherlight has Isabella against the ropes and is close to eliminating her, at the same time Jamie Love is about to eliminate Narumi. Pence with a headbutt to seal the deal and Isabella drops over the ropes and lands outside.

Ito then gets Eddie to his knees and finishes him off with a Corkscrew roundhouse kick. Eddie is out cold and Ito seals the deal with the elimination over the top rope.
EDDIE DOZIER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Woo: Wow, this is a surprise. With the way things were going, I thought Eddie was going to pull off the win tonight
Gomez: He had a great Rumble, very strong showing, its a shame to see him out now.
Tyler Bradford who is tied up with Jordan Sharpe sees Eddie go over and uses that anger to catch Sharpe with an elbow to the jaw. Candy has Melody Malone against the ropes and looks to be close to sending her over. Jamie Love and Pence Weatherlight are going at it in the corner. Moxie has Nevaeh pinned down. Stitches with a Samoan Drop on Ito, he then rolls to his knees and pulls Moxie off of Nevaeh giving Nev just enough time to get to her feet and catch Moxie with a Spinning Back Fist. Melody breaks free of Candy and sends her flying towards Stitches who happily meets her half way and nails her with the Beautiful Disasterpiece! Stitches then gets Candy to her feet and sends her flying over the ropes.

JORDAN SHARPE HAS BEEN ELIMINATED
Jamie Love has words for Jordan but look out, Neveah sneaks up from behind and its a superkick to the back of the head sending Jamie flying over the top rope.
JAMIE LOVE HAS BEEN ELIIMINATED
Gomez: And just like that, Jordan Sharpe and Jamie Love have both been eliminated and we are down to only five wrestlers left in the ring. Melody Malone, Killjoy Ito, Neveah, Stitches and Moxie.
Woo: Malone and Stitches have both won the Rumble before, could one of them win it again?
Moxie with a thunderous Michinoku Driver on Stitches and the entire ring rocks again. Moxie gets Stitches up and sends him into the ropes where Malone and Neveah are battling. Moxie then follows up and all four are against the ropes. Killjoy Ito decides to go up top, he sees all four against the ropes and leaps .. Suicide somersault senton!!!!
SNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAP!!!!
The rope breaks and all five wrestlers go tumbling over and out of the ring onto the ground
DING DING DING
The fans are all on their feet, as are Woo and Gomez. Referees are at the side of the ring trying to sort out what happened. Stitches, Nevaeh, Moxie, Killjoy Ito and Melody Malone are all on the ground, looking up at the referees who are trying to sort out what happened. Woo: I can't believe what just happened, the ring has been rocking all night long, we should have seen this coming .. the top rope just snapped and well .. chaos.
Gomez: We've got the producers in our ears telling us that they are reviewing the footage right now. We can see on the X-Tron right now, it looks like, yeah you can clearly see the rope snap here and then ..
Woo: This is hard to tell, we've got about 6 different camera angles going right now. The referees are still talking
The referees are talking back and forth while also speaking with the backstage crew who are showing footage and conversing with the referees through an earpiece. The footage on the X-Tron shows Nevaeh and Stitches on the ropes as it snapped, and then all five tumbling out of the ring.
Woo: I'm so sorry folks, the referees are doing due diligence to make sure we get the correct call here. They are talking with the backstage crew, and .. oh wait .. it looks like we have a little bit of clarity here .. Nina Dobrev appears to be ready to announce something here
Dobrev: After review, Stitches and Nevaeh were clearly the first two to hit the ground with both feet, and have both been eliminated from the Rumble
Stitches and Nevaeh are clearly not happy with this decision and continue to speak with one of the referees
Gomez: So then who won?
Stitches and Nevaeh make their way back up the ramp, both clearly unhappy as they both continue to talk to each other. Meanwhile, the referees have gathered again and continue to look over the footage. They then seem to all be in agreement and are now conversing with Melody Malone, Killjoy Ito and Moxie. Killjoy Ito kicks at some debris that's on the ground, clearly very upset over the decision.
Woo: I'm not a lip reader but .. Ito is not happy right now
The referees continue to explain things and then walk over to Nina Dobrev to give her the same information.
Gomez: Its the moment of truth ..
Dobrev: After further review of the footage, and confirming with both the backstage production team and an official ok from President Mac, we have a winner. Your winners ... of the EWC Rumble .. are ... MOXIE!!! .. MELODY MALONE!!! .. and KILLJOY ITO!!!
There is a huge mixed reaction from the crowd, but a large uproar of cheers erupts for the three winners
Woo: Holy shit. For the first time in EWC Rumble history, we have a three-way tie. Only Jay Cee and Xplode had tied before, and now Melody Malone joins Jay Cee as the only two time winners. What a night for Melody Malone.
Gomez: This has to be a strange feeling for Killjoy Ito, after coming so close to winning last year, he now finds himself tied for the win. What a performance from Moxie, Melody and Killjoy though. All three deserving of the win, but the looks on their faces is telling. Its a win, but its also a draw, and you can see it in their eyes.
Woo: I feel bad for Stitches and Nevaeh also, but they clearly hit the ground first, that was made obvious. Just an all around outstanding Rumble and a wild wild finish to a match that lasted over an hour and a half, not counting the time it took to solve the winner. This will be a highly talked about and debated outcome for weeks, months, probably even years. This will be a Rumble we will not soon forget. Each person brought it tonight, so much so, they broke the ring.
Moxie, Melody Malone and Killjoy Ito all still appear to be conversing with the referees instead of celebrating the victory as confetti begins to fall all over them as suddenly the X-Tron turns away from the footage at ringside, and instead its President Mac backstage
Mac: Moxie, Melody and Ito, I just wanted to congratulate the three of you on this victory tonight. I know its not the outcome you, or really, any of us were expecting, this is still a victory and the three of you were absolutely phenomenal tonight. I know the three of you are still trying to sort things out, but I wanted to announce right here and right now, that the three of you will all headline WrestleFest.
There is a huge uproar of cheers, as Melody smirks while looking at the X-Tron. Moxie claps his hands in approval and Ito nods.
Mac: The three of you will face off against the EWC Undisputed Champion, in a Fatal-Fourway Ladder match.
The feed turns back to the ringside reactions of Melody Malone, Moxie and Killjoy Ito as they all stare at each other while the fans continue to cheer, confetti continues to fall and fireworks shoot off all around the stadium.
Gomez: That about does it for us tonight here in Melbourne, Australia. What a wild finish to a wild night. Thank you for tuning in everyone. Our next pay-per-view event is YOUNGBLOOD III, where we showcase first and second year EWC Superstars. We look forward to seeing you in October. But up next, you'll catch EWC LIVE on Sunday at PRIME. Good Night Everyone. Thank you for watching.
The scene fades with Melody, Moxie, and Ito all with smirks on their faces as fireworks continue to shoot off all around Marvel Stadium.
