LIVE! from the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, India
General Manager: Victor Price
Commentators: Marshall Evans and Hayley Kushnir
Announcer: Damon Reid
Senior Referee: Niklaus Forbes
Other Referees: Stefan Elliot & Jessika Smalls
Backstage Interviewer: Jenna Salvatore
While 'Howlin' For You' by The Black Keys blares over the loudspeakers at every location, a multi colored lightshow lights up the sky in a display that gets the fans screaming the EWC PRIME namesake. Brilliant blue spotlights swirl over the cheering crowds, whipping them up into a near-frenzy of excitement at the show to come.
Cameras flash all around the arena as the X-Tron cycles through Prime's roster. Callie Clark, Lorenzo, Narumi Tsutsumi, Dalilah Ashe, "Headhuntress" Aiya, 'The S-Factor' Scorpio, Saidie Sharpe, "The Artist" Aaron Kostan, Amber Lisa Hall, Aeon Khronos, Patrick James, Tyler Quest, Bosa, and Kyle Gautier are all featured.
We also get some extra footage of the current Champions on Prime as we see Scorpio with the Showtime Broadcast Championship and then Narumi Tsutsumi holding the Indy Championship over her head.
After one final pan over the crowd, we get some shots of a few of the signs being held up by the fans ..
OLD MAN JEFF STARTED WALKING TO THE RING IN 2001
IT'S BOSA TIME!!!
DON'T SLEEP ON DOZIER
CALLIE WILL PROVE IT'S PRIME > THE REST
WHEN'S THE NEW VIDEO GAME RELEASED?
IS MY RABBIT A MECHANICAL ANIMAL?
The camera centers on ringside at the Indira Gandhi Arena, fans stand up, pumping their fists and cheering. One last round of fireworks blast out now (those scared me a little .. very loud in here) .. and we turn our attention to Marshall Evans and Hayley Kushnir ..
Evans: Welcome to Prime! You've made it on time, which means you've sprung ahead an hour .. or .. you're in parts of the world that don't yo-yo the clock and mess up sleep cycles .. (both kids were up at 7AM today, thanks day light savings) .. sorry .. just had some static in my earpiece for a second there .. (wait, was that me?) .. there it is again .. odd .. anyways .. we've got an absolutely HUGE show for you tonight.
Kushnir: With this our last stop before StrangleMania, there's a lot of bragging rights, momentum and championships to be decided tonight.
Evans: Tonight it's Old Man Jeff (I did it better), if he can make it to the ring, against Kyle Gautier (nice to see him back). Seriously, some strange feedback going on in my ear! Anyways .. The Defender is on a quest to beat .. Tyler Quest .. see what I did there? (lame) and it's Brawl versus Prime when Stitches intends to tear Amber Lisa Hall to pieces while The Mechanical Animals make their Prime debut against The Halo Syndicate in tag team action.
Kushnir: It gets bigger from there as all four brands collide in a four way first blood clash. Which brand will reign supreme tonight? We're hoping Callie can pull off the 'w'. The "Headhuntress" Aiya battles EWC X-Division Champion El Pablo in a non title X-Division war. The defending Indy Champion, Narumi Tsutsumi takes on her StrangleMania opponent's sacrificial lamb Dalilah Ashe. They are tag team opponents at StrangleMana but it's one on one action tonight when Sabotage's Eddie Dozier goes one on one with Southern Express' Jimmy Lane and we will find out who is the boss of the Broadcast division when Bosa battles Indy Championship number one contender and current Showtime Broadcast Champion, Scorpio.
Evans: That is a good show tonight but sweet mother of god that is a big one.
Kushnir: That's what she said.
Evans: I know. I heard you say it just last night.
Kushnir: I cant wait so get started tonight but remember, if for any reason you miss any of our amazing EWC programming, it's available on EWCTV.
Marshall and Hayley share a kiss (get a room) as we fade to the EWCTV commercial

Evans: We open up with a debut on Prime as Old Man Jeff debuts against Kyle Gautier.
Reid: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, residing in Mobile, Alabama and weighing in tonight at 235 pounds ... KYLE GAUTIER!
An elegant Purple spotlight shines on the ramp as ‘The Man’ by the Killers blares. Kyle Gautier is standing at the top soaking in the raucous cheers. He slaps hands with anyone as he runs down to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and goes to as many corners as he can to get ready.
Reid: And his opponent, from 'you're gonna have to speak up son somewhere near Dakota' and weighing in at 167 pounds ... OLD MAN JEFF!
After about a full minute of Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra, Old Man Jeff finally comes out, a big smile on his face and doing a little jig while holding his brown fedora to his head, it falls off and it takes him another thirty seconds to pick it up. Once he finally gets it back into his hands he drops it again. For another thirty or more seconds he attempts to pick it up, but eventually gives up and starts his walk down the ramp. He holds out his hand for high fives, a small child gives him one too hard. He makes a pained face and tries to shake it off. He stops to talk to an old lady, they have a great chat about the weather. His entrance music starts over and officials have to hurry him up to the ring, OMJ is annoyed that his conversation with his new friend was broken up. He continues his slow walk to the ring. He snaps his fingers, remembering something that he forgot to bring, he turns and walks back up the ramp, through the curtain again. After about two minutes, his entrance music starts over yet again, he emerges and snaps his fingers, seeing his fedora on the ramp, it was the item he forgot. He attempts to pick it up but after about another thirty to forty seconds , he gives up. He walks to the ring, then encounters the old lady he talked to earlier, they start the exact same conversation over again. The ref jumps through the ropes and runs over to OMJ, annoyed at how long his entrance is taking. Old Man Jeff finally rolls into the ring as his entrance music starts over again. He has trouble getting back to his feet, so the referee helps him up. OMJ taps out. The ref tells him the match hasn’t started yet and to wait. Jeff nods and puts up his dukes in an old 1940’s boxer fashion. Finally ready to start the match.
DING DING DING
OMJ shuffles to the middle of the ring and hits Gautier with a back hand slap to the face before throwing Gautier into the corner. OMJ leans on the rope to get his breath back. OMJ charges, or should I say walks, into the corner. At the last second Gautier steps to the side and OMJ hits the corner. Gautier hits OMJ with right hands and a back elbow strike. Gautier Irish Whips OMJ to the opposite corner. OMJ very slowly moves to the other side of the ring. Gautier runs and is in the corner before OMJ. He raises a boot and catches OMJ in the face with it. Gautier slides to the second turnbuckle and leaps but OMJ catches him with a forearm to the jaw knocking him to the canvas. OMJ bends to lift Gautier but instead clutches his back. Gautier gets to his feet and looks at OMJ with a raised eyebrow. Gautier wraps OMJ with a front facelock and hits a knee to the ribs and a DDT.
Evans: That's it, he's dead.
Kushnir: He's not dead! Least I don't think he is.
Gautier lifts OMJ off the mat but he's caught with an uppercut to the jaw that staggers him. OMJ pulls himself to his feet and punches Gautier in the kidneys. OMJ attempts to lock Gautier in a front facelock of his own but Gautier backdrops his way out of it sending OMJ crashing to the mat. Gautier climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps hitting a TMC Club Initiation. He hooks the leg.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
Somehow OMJ manages to roll onto his side breaking the count. OMJ staggers to his feet as Gautier gets to his hands and knees. OMJ spots an opportunity and hits Get Off My Lawn. He drops onto Gautier.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
Gautier gets a shoulder up to break the count.
Evans: What in the blue hell am I watching?
Kushnir: Gautier with the intestinal fortitude to kick out and keep going in this match.
Gautier pushes OMJ off him and gets to his feet before dragging OMJ to his. Gautier hits an Oliver Twist of Fate sending OMJ crashing to the mat. Gautier makes the cover.

DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall ... KYLE GAUTIER!!!
Evans: To the surprise of no one, Kyle Gautier wins. Old Dude Jeff may indeed be dead this time. Seems he took 'win or die trying' a bit too literal.
Kushnir: He certainly gave a good fight. OK he gave the best fight he could muster and for a brief moment almost beat Kyle Gautier but in the end the much younger, much fitter Kyle Gautier wins here.
As an EMT tends to OMJ, Gautier looks down at him. Gautier raises a hand in victory and heads out of the ring and up the ramp. After a blast of defibrillator, OMJ is indeed alive and rolls onto a stretcher.
Evans: There is literally life in the old dog yet.
Kushnir: Good to know. I'm being told that Killjoy Ito is in the arena and we can cut to him now.
The camera cuts to the backstage area ...
The camera cuts backstage and inside a conference room inside the Gandhi Arena. There sitting at the table is the EWC Undisputed Champion Killjoy Ito along with his manager ‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love and Paramount’s GM Chris Brock. On the other side of the table is the former EWC Undisputed Champion Ace King, along with Rampage’s GM Grizzly Duggan. All the men are looking around, waiting for Victor Price to come into the room to serve as the witness but as the door opens they are all shocked to see Prime’s Jenna Salvatore. Buddy stands up and smiles at Jenna.
Love: Jenna…
But Jenna motions for him to sit down as she walks over and takes a seat at the center of the table, a seat that was intended for Victor Price.
Salvatore: I’m sorry, a matter has come up that needs Mr. Price’s attention so he sent me here to serve as the witness to this contract signing…
Buddy smiles and takes his seat
Love: Oh, and here I just figured he didn’t want to do it so he sent you in here to handle things…
Ace, Grizzly, Brock and Killjoy all look at Buddy knowing that’s EXACTLY the case but it seems to have gone over Buddy’s head as Jenna looks over the contract.
Salvatore: So, you both were informed at Paramount #017 that the EWC Undisputed Championship would be contested in a Rage In The Cage Match…
Love: We were and I have to tell you Jenna I wasn’t happy when I first heard the news. Ace here has been in like ten of these matches…
King: FOUR of these matches…
Buddy nods at this correction
Love: Like I said, four of these and I have to wonder ‘where is the champion’s advantage’ but…
Buddy looks at Killjoy who nods at him
Love: Killjoy is excited about the challenge that lies ahead of him and this is StrangleMania, the most important night in the EWC and…
Killjoy once again give Buddy and encouraging nod
Love: He is honored to be defending this championship in the Main Event against Ace King so…I withdraw my objection…
Jenna looks at Buddy, who smiles at her and then smiles at Killjoy and Chris Brock
Salvatore: Ok then, as I was saying, this match will be contested in a Rage In The Cage Match with the added stipulation it will be fought under Monster Ball’s Rules…
Love: And much like the match type I wasn’t pleased about this either and then I was informed that I wouldn’t have to spend 24 hours without food, water or light so I once again withdraw my objection to this as Killjoy seems ok with this kind of torture…
Buddy once again smiles at Jenna and then starts to turn towards Killjoy but Chris Brock holds his chair in place
Brock: Buddy, Ace here has a match later tonight so could you please allow Miss Salvatore to continue without interruption…
Love: Oh, yeah…sure, please continue Miss Salvatore…
Buddy extends his hand as if to say ‘the floor is all her’s’ and gives her a wink
Salvatore: Thank you, as neither of you signed the contract at Paramount #017 we need to make this official here tonight so I thank you both for joining me. Ace King we will start with you since you are the challenger, I need you to please sign here…
Jenna points at the Green Tab on the contract as she slides it to Ace King, whose eyes subtly narrow as he starts to scan through the fine print, making sure he isn’t missing anything else. The challenger subtly nods as he puts the tip of the pen to the paper, but before he does, he raises his head and scans the Undisputed Champion.
Ace King: To be clear, I was just as surprised as you were that this was the company’s decision to put us inside Rage in the Cage, not to mention the added window dressing beforehand… To be clear, I hardly lobbied for this, and once you step inside the structure for the first time, you’ll understand why. However, when it comes to what’s sitting on your shoulder right now, on the single biggest night of the EWC season? Buddy’s basically already said it, but NOTHING is too big for that moment. 24 hours completely deprived of anything other than darkness before being unleashed upon Narendra Modi Stadium? It’s a crazy notion to most, but again, nothing is too big for the Undisputed Championship.
Ace’s eyes start to cloud over a bit as he goes back to scanning the contract.
Ace King: Now, even though I may be called The Gambler, I’ve never wanted to be anything but a straight shooter, so we may as well address the elephant in the room: I know I haven’t exactly looked like Undisputed Champion material lately, and frankly, things have been quite a bit different since those four nights in Rio, and there’s nobody more frustrated about that than me…
Ace subtly taps the pen on the contract, his attention never leaving Killjoy.
Ace King: …But I think you know as well as anyone that, one way or another, I’m going to be there at the end, and I’ll tear you limb from limb if I have to, just as you’ll do to me, because this is Ace vs. The Ace. It’s what our history demands, and most importantly, it’s what the Undisputed Championship demands.
With that, Ace officially signs the contract and slides it over to Killjoy’s side of the table, his face void of expression. Jenna looks from Ace to Killjoy and Buddy
Salvatore: And now the champion, Killjoy I need you to sign where the Orange Tab is…
Buddy slaps the table and laughs
Love: Green for Rampage and Orange for Paramount, that’s really clever there Jenna…
Chris Brock drops his head and can’t believe it took Buddy that long to ‘get it’ but Buddy shakes his finger at Jenna
Love: Very clever you, but as for you Ace…
Buddy looks at Ace King
Love: I’m glad to hear these terms were also a surprise to you, I’d hate to think you tried to stack the deck…ow…
Killjoy elbows Buddy
Love: I’m not accusing him, just saying I’m glad his hands are clean on this….relax but I agree with you, NOTHING is too big when that championship is on the line…
Buddy points to the EWC Undisputed Championship
Love: We know nothing leading up to StrangleMania matters, not Killjoy record or yours, we expect the very best Ace King to walk down that aisle and do everything in his power to take that championship back and if that mean crippling this man than so be it but that does go both ways because you are right, it’s Ace v. The Ace at StrangleMania and well…there can only be ONE Ace right, in terms of the wrestling business, not a deck of cards though…
Killjoy, having heard enough from his manager, grabs the contract and signs on the dotted line and slides the contract back to Jenna, who looks it over and nods.
Salvatore: Ok then, I will sign in proxy of Mr. Price here…
Jenna signs the contract and places it in the manila envelope and smiles
Salvatore: It’s official, at StrangleMania it will be Ace King v. Killjoy Ito for the Undisputed Champions in Rage In The Cage: Monster Ball’s Rules…now I don’t want to keep you any longer Ace King, with you having a match later tonight, I thank you all for your time…
Ace stands up and walks towards the door but Killjoy stands up and blocks his way out. Ace looks at him for a moment wondering what game Killjoy is playing but slowly Killjoy reaches up and extends his hand to The Gambler, who looks at Killjoy’s hand and then looks him right in the eyes. Neither man blinks until…
Ito: Good Luck…
The tension slowly creeps up as both men stand a bit straighter. Ace’s nostrils gently flare out, unnerved by the sentiment as he returns the extended hand.
Ace King: Kōun o.
The grip is a little bit tighter than usual, with both men knowing what’s on the line. The camera focuses on the two men for a moment before cutting away to ringside.
We return to ringside where we see Marshall Evans ready to call the next match ..
Evans: I can not wait to see that match at StrangleMania. You just know it's going to be a classic. However, right now on Prime we have another debut. This time it's The Defender as he goes up against Tyler Quest.
Reid: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, residing in Angel Grove, California and weighing in at 122 pounds ... TYLER QUEST!
"Friendship" begins to play as Tyler Quest suddenly steps through the curtains with a man by her side. She is smiling from ear to ear while waving at the audience. She points to both sides before sprinting down the ramp. She slides into the ring, flips onto her back and kips up to her feet. She caps it off with a backflip off the corner turnbuckle closes to her.
Reid: And her opponent, from Gatlinburg, Tennessee and weighing in at 270 pounds he is the Last Bastion of America, this is ... THE DEFENDER!
The lights in the arena dim and the smoke machines go into overdrive as Kid Rock's "Warrior" hits the arenas PA system! Out through the curtain first comes controversial right winger Ben Thomas, met with a chorus of boos from everyone in attendance. Just when you think it can't get any louder the few left in the building NOT booing join in when out comes THE DEFENDER! Cloaked in an elegant sleeveless leather American flag duster and hosting an American flag up on his shoulder the young powerhouse and his father make their way down to the ring and step inside, The Defender ready to go to war.
DING DING DING
Quest stands in the middle of the ring and offers her hand to The Defender in a show of sportsmanship. The defender looks down at Quest's hand. His face contorts like he can see disease on it and starts to back away. Quest looks at her hand for a second before running at The Defender hitting a running enziguri. The defender crashes to the mat but gets right back up onto his feet. Quest smashes him with a series of forearm smashes. She runs at The Defender who backdrops Quest only for her to counter it into a DDT. The Defender gets to his feet and lashes out with a clothesline but a little bit of TyVasion means The Defender connects with nothing but air. Quest then runs at The Defender and is met with a boot to the face and a backhand chop to the chest. The Defender lifts Quest and drops her to the mat with a suplex slam. Quest pulls herself to her feet and turns into a running boot.
Evans: If something lands on our table right now it's Tyler Quest's nose. The Defender had a good go at booting it from her face.
Kushnir: A graphic mental image there but it was a hell of a big boot.
Quest uses the ropes to drag herself to her feet. The Defender charges with another running boot. Quest ducks and catches The Defender with a Quest Fulfilled. The Defender drops to the mat as Quest makes a cover.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
Ben Thomas puts The Defender's foot onto the bottom rope to break the count. Jackson Pollock stalks toward Ben Thomas. Ben has to climb over the ringside barrier to escape and heads through the crowd. In the ring, Quest watches Ben's escape. She turns and is caught by a Spinebuster. The Defender places a foot on Quest's chest as the referee counts.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
Quest gets a shoulder up.
Evans: I'm not sure if I admire or hate the ego and disrespect of that cover.
Kushnir: He just makes me want Tyler Quest to win and I'm supposed to call this down the middle.
The Defender playfully kicks at Quest as she tries to get back to her feet. Quest blocks one by grabbing The Defender's foot. She shoves it away causing him to crash to the mat. Quest takes a few steps back and runs at The Defender looking for a Kick Of Ty. Defender leaps to his feet lashing out at Quest with People Kill People. She ducks it and rolls into a Semper Fi. She hooks the leg as she makes a cover.
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!
DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall ... TYLER QUEST!!!
Evans: A huge win there.
Kushnir: I may not like him but The Defender pulled his weight in this match and almost got the win to the point I thought he would win when he lashed out with that lariat. Only one who didn't was Tyler Quest and she brought him crashing down.
Jackson helps Quest to her feet. She climbs to the middle rope and soaks in the cheers from the crowd before she and Jackson head up the ramp.
Evans: A big win here tonight.
Kushnir: But will Amber Lisa Hall get an even bigger win? She takes on Stitches and it's up next! Right after this 30 second commercial break ..
The camera cuts to commercial ..
We return to ringside where Jessika Smalls is just getting inside the ring.
Evans: Amber Lisa Hall has been on a mission but I have this feeling Stitches came to play tonight and this could get ugly ...
Reid: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from The Carnival of Shattered Dreams, weighing in at 260 pounds ... STITCHES!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
Reid: And his opponent, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 135 pounds ... AMBER LISA HALL!
Run It came blasting over the speakers as Amber stood on the top of the ramp with her leather jacket on with a smirk across her face. She comes out playing to the crowd a bit before she climbs inside of the ring. She takes off her jacket with a smile looking over at the opponents with a grin ready to start
DING DING DING
Stitches and Amber step out of their respective corners and begin to circle each other. They meet in the middle with a collar elbow tie up. Stitches uses his height advantage to take control as he shoves Amber back. Amber comes at him again and he catches her with a stiff shoulder tackle.
Amber drops to the mat as Stitches grabs her by the hair and picks her up off the canvas. Amber lands a forearm into Stitches ribcage. Stitches continues to keep a tight grip on Amber's hair as she fires off another forearm into his ribcage. This shot does cause him to remove his hand as Amber bounces off the ropes and catches him with a clothesline.
Evans: A nice clothesline there.
Kushnir: I don't want to be a stickler for the rules but Stitches should not be allowed to grab Amber's hair like that.
As Stitches is still down, Amber comes bounces off the ropes and lands with a leg drop across his throat. Amber gets back up to her feet, bounces off the ropes and lands a second leg drop across his throat. Amber gets back up to her feet, she runs toward the ropes for a third time but this time Stitches catches her with a quick snap powerslam.
Stitches stands back up to his feet and starts stomping away at Amber. He picks up her arm and slams it down onto the canvas. He repeats this action before placing it between his legs and dropping all of his weight down onto the limb.
Amber grabs her arm as Stitches brings her back up to her feet. He twists her arm behind her back before lifting her up and dropping her down with a back suplex.
Evans: That crash echoed around this arena.
Kushnir: Think my teeth rattled with that
After landing the suplex, Stitches rolls Amber up to her feet before planting her with a future shock DDT. Stitches quickly goes for the cover.
One
Two
Three!!!
DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall... STITCHES!!!Evans: A big win here for The Carnival Clown. That should put him back into the conversation for championships.
Kushnir: I have to feel for Amber Lisa Hall though. Between KU at the last show and Stitches tonight, she's been put through the wringer. That being said, she did come close at times to the victory here tonight.
Stitches is already halfway up the ramp while looking over his shoulder at Amber. Amber is standing up to her feet.
Evans: Amber looks like she's ready to go again. I have to admire the fight in her.
Kushnir: Marsh, I'm being told in my ear that we can go to El Pablo in the back as he prepares for his match later tonight with "Headhuntress" Aiya.
The camera cuts to the backstage area ...
Backstage, we find X-Division Champion El Pablo standing behind a simple wooden table in the middle of one of the many corridors that weave through the bowels of the Indira Gandhi Arena. By his left hand sits the X-Division Championship belt, faceplate gleaming beneath the halogen lighting that runs above his head; by his right, a bottle of tequila, which EP absent-mindedly runs his fingertips over as he flashes a wry smirk down the camera lens.
El Pablo: Oh Darius, you sure are nefarious! Or is it ‘Dar-eye-us’ like, ‘I have the belt I know he so desires?’
He shrugs.
El Pablo: Potato, potato. Anyway, I’m sure you’re disappointed that you haven’t heard from me since that little ‘to-do’ you produced in Mexico City - and I don’t want you to think I’m running scared or anything like that; I had every intention of giving you a little Facetime on Brawl, it’s just that New Delhi’s, like, twelve hours ahead of Edmonton and, y’know, I needed breakfast.
EP pops the cork out of the top of the tequila bottle and sprinkles a fistful of Skittles into the liquid.
El Pablo: Not that you haven’t given me quite the food for thought, of course. I’mma be honest, of all the extreme elements I’ve tangled with in my time, fire’s one I’ve managed to more-or-less avoid; certainly since…well…
The Tecnico’s voice tails off, his gaze growing momentarily distant before he manages to snap himself back into the room.
El Pablo: Anyway; you, though - you know all about fire, don’t you? I mean, you started last season like an absolute house of it, bum-rushing the likes of Addy Aquilla and tangling with Marcu$ $t. John. Course, that flame was extinguished pretty quickly; you came up short in the North American Title TLC match at last year’s StrangleMania…you lost to Marcu$ at Uprising…and then poof! You were gone.
Granted, you did come back - and you even won the FX Broadcast Championship! Although, you dropped it right back to Tyler Bradford, what, 21 days later? Man, even your International Title reign was longer than that - which is funny, really; I mean, you have the audacity to accuse me of disgracing the X-Division Championship when, by the time the bell rings on our match at StrangleMania, I’ll have held this belt for nearly three times as long as you held both of your title belts combined!
EP digs into his pocket, pulling out not a fistful of Skittles, but a book of matches. He chuckles, though his levity quickly fades as he fires a look of hard-nosed defiance straight down the camera lens.
El Pablo: It’s fine though, I get it - like I told Aiya, you won’t be the first to look at this mask, these colours and all the candy-based accoutrements and think I can’t possibly be ‘extreme’ enough. Well, if driving Stitches’ face into shards of broken glass at the Rumble didn’t convince you…if successfully fending off four other people at WrestleFest didn’t make it patently obvious…then me lighting your ass up on the biggest stage of them all will leave absolutely no doubt that I am ‘extreme’...that I am the guy to take that next step up alongside Eddie Crank and Harlow Kinsley as part of this title’s unholy trinity!
The Tecnico pulls a match from the book and strikes it, holding the flame aloft for a moment in silent admiration as it dances for the camera.
El Pablo: On March 28th, the Technicolour Tecnico forces a few more E Numbers onto the so-called ‘E of the EWC.’
On March 28th, the Rainbowlution takes its next great step on its march towards immortality.
On March 28th, Darius’ X-Division challenge - just like every attempt or association at EWC gold prior…
Suddenly, EP swipes the tequila bottle from the table and takes a swig, before pulling the match to his lips and spitting a fireball up and over the camera.
El Pablo: …goes up in flames.
Viva La Rainbowlution.
The smirk returns to EP’s face as the camera continues on to another area of the backstage .. area ..
The cameras cut to another part of the backstage area (I just said that - good LORD am I getting old? repeating myself? Wait .. can you hear my thoughts? Have I become self aware?) as Jenna Salvatore is standing by with Nina Samson, Brittany Ann Baker and Carrie Samson known collectively as The Halo Syndicate. Jenna is talking quietly to them until her cameraman motions to her that it is time.
Jenna Salvatore: Good evening EWC Nation, this is Jenna Salvatore and I am standing here with Halo Syndicate.
Jenna turns her torso slightly to look at them.
Jenna Salvatore: Welcome back to Sunday Night Prime ladies.
Carrie Samson: Thank you.
Jenna Salvatore: How are you guys loving New Delhi?
Nina places her arm across Jenna's shoulder as Carrie looks at her.
Carrie Samson: Jenna, you can cut the crap alright. Nina and I are here for two reasons. One, is to send a message that we are still one of the top teams in this company. The second reason is for Nina to build momentum as she represents Paramount in the Hellevator match at Stranglemania.
Nina Samson: I don't know exactly why I am representing Prime but to be honest. I really don't care because the winner of that match gets a Title shot of their choosing. So you best believe that I will be the one who outlasts the other sixteen individuals but I worry about it when the time comes. Until then, The Halo Syndicate has plans to shutdown some Mechanical Animals.
Nina and Carrie tap Jenna on the shoulder before walking out of the shot .. the feed then goes to ringside .. (if anyone can hear this, send me a coffee .. STAT!) .. where Marshall Evans and Haley Kushnir are standing by ..

We return to ringside where Marshall Evans and Haley Kushnir are standing by, (there I go repeating again .. damn this tooth pain .. it must be draining power from my brain .. must .. get .. coffee .. must gain back .. control) .. ready to segue into our next bout of the night!
Evans: Fans, it’s been one heck of a show so far tonight, and we aren’t stopping! Let’s take it to the ring for tag team action as The Mechanical Animals make their main roster debut against one of the EWC’s hottest tag teams, Halo Syndicate!
Reid: The following match is a tag team match! Joining us first, weighing in at a combined 455 pounds ... RAIJIN HUNTER AND WIL PIERCE, THE MECHANICAL ANIMALS!
”For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica plays as The Mechanical Animals make their way down to the ring.
Reid: And their opponents, weighing in at a combined 247 pounds ... CARRIE AND NINA SAMSON - HALO SYNDICATE!
The opening beats of "Want to Want Me" by Jason Derulo starts playing over the sound system as a blonde woman steps through the curtain holding a go pro camera in her hand. She moves it around before turning to show Carrie and Nina walking out right behind her. The crowd is going nuts as Carrie and Nina are waving their hands at the crowd. The start sprinting down the ramp as the blonde woman just follows them down the ramp. Carrie and Nina are posing on the turnbuckles.
DING DING DING
The match starts slowly with The Mechanical Animals taking advantage of their humongous size advantage over Carrie and Nina. It’s your standard hot tag affair as we see Raijin and Wil beat Carrie from one corner of the ring to the other using double team moves and underhanded tactics to do so. It all comes to a crescendo when Carrie is able to muster up the strength to dive forward and tag in Nina!
Evans: And Nina's in!
Kushnir: Let's see what she can do t get back into this contest.
Nina is a house on fire taking The Mechanical Animals down over and over as they charge her with standing dropkicks and running clotheslines! Carrie is back up and is in the middle of the ring with Nina, back to back, as the two “put up their dukes”, ready for whatever attack The Mechanical Animals have in store. Wil distracts the two on the outside while Raijin slides into the ring behind Carrie and Nina and smashes them into the back of the head with heavy forearms! They fall down to their knees and Raijin places a knee to the back of each of their necks, choking them against the rope! Wil walks up and starts taking turns laying into each of their faces like they’re speedbags, powerful left after devastating right!
Evans: Just laying into them with those punches.
Kushnir: Devastating.
Raijin and Wil, satisfied with the damage they have laid upon Halo Syndicate, turn around to the hard camera and showboat for the crowd. Somehow, summoning both the strength of the fans and each other, Carrie and Nina make it to their feet! The Mechanical Animals, sensing something is very wrong judging by the crowd, turns around only to eat stereo dropkicks! Amulet to the Stars! Wil starts to stand up… CRUSHING HALOS! The crowd is going crazy! Nina hooks the leg as Carrie kicks Raijin out of the ring and the ref begins to make the count…

DING DING DING
Reid: And your winners, via pinfall ... HALO SYNDICATE!!!Evans: A big win for the Samson ladies. That should give them some much needed momentum in the tag team ranks.
Kushnir: Mechanical Animals didn't look bad either. They are certainly a team to watch in the future
Nina and Carrie celebrate with a hug before heading out of the ring and hugging some fans in the front row as they head up the ramp.
Evans: Nina just hugged me!
Kushnir: Hug her back and you lose fingers. Will someone lose fingers or a limb in our next match? It's Aiya and Pablo in an X-Division match and it is next! After this 30 second commercial break .. I don't know why, but I have a sudden craving for coffee ..
The camera cuts to commercial ...
We return to ringside where Jessika Smalls is waiting for the next match to start.
Evans: Here we go folks, it's Aiya's last chance to send a message to the other combatants in the Ashton Drake Memorial Match. El Pablo has a chance to keep his momentum going into StrangleMania XVII as he puts his EWC X-Division Championship on the line against Monday Night Brawl Superstar, Darius.
Reid: The following match is an x-division match scheduled for one fall Joining us first, from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 137 pounds ... "HEAD HUNTRESS" AIYA!
As “Killer” by JJ Lin plays over the PA system, a fog appears near the curtains. As it slowly fades away, we see the form of “Headhuntress” Aiya standing at the top of the ramp. She saunters down, entering the ring through the middle and top ropes. Aiya then leans against the ring, already looking as if she’s making a game plan in her head whilst waiting for her opponent to enter the ring
Reid: And her opponent, from Puebla City, Mexico, weighing in at 180 pounds, he is the EWC X-Division Champion... EL PABLO!
A cry of “VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!” leads to ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK hitting the soundsystem, as the stage and ringside area becomes bathed in flashing, flickering, brightly-coloured lighting. As the main hook hits, El Pablo bursts through the curtain, playing to the fans and chugging Skittles like a Steveweiser while the X-Division Championship belt glistens around his waist. He charges down the ramp and slides under the ropes into the ring, then runs up the turnbuckle and holds the title belt high above his head to another pop from the adoring crowd. After offering a final salute, he hops back down to the canvas, handing his belt to the referee and performing a few final stretches as his music fades.
DING DING DING
El Pablo continues to stretch as Aiya comes sprinting across the ring and hotshots Pablo across the top rope. Pablo flies backward as Aiya drops down to the arena floor. She pulls out a garbage can full of weapons. She throws a few of them inside before sliding back into the ring.
Right as Aiya is up to a knee, Pablo comes out of nowhere with a basement style dropkick to her chest. Pablo gets back up to his feet, picks up a street sign from the pile of weapons and whacks it over Aiya. Aiya shouts as Pablo continues to whack away before holding the sign next to her body. He bounces off the ropes before connecting with a low dropkick to the sign.
Evans: That will literally STOP her in her tracks.
Kushnir: Good lord.
Pablo picks Aiya up off the canvas and shoots her off towards the ropes. As she rebounds off them, Pablo catches her in the face with a glass pitcher. Aiya goes down hard as Pablo rolls out of the ring and pulls out a bulletin board wrapped in barbed wire. He slides it into the ring. He pulls out a few more weapons wrapped in barbed wire. He throws them into the ring. After throwing the last weapon into the ring, he hops back onto the apron. He springs off one set of ring ropes then the other half before landing right on top of Aiya. He quickly goes for a cover.
One
Tw....
Aiya kicks out before the count of two. Pablo doesn't waste a lot of time as he picks her up off the canvas. He goes to shoot her off but she reverses it. She pulls Pablo back towards her and slams him back first onto the empty garbage can. Aiya picks him back up before dropping him face first onto the canvas.
Aiya gets back up to her feet and picks up a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. She admires it for a second before swinging it right down onto the back of Pablo. Pablo screams out in pain as Aiya continues to swing until Pablo rolls out of the way.
Evans: She a designated hitter?
Kushnir: Stop with the puns I beg you!
The barbed wire bat gets stuck in the canvas as Pablo kips up to his feet. Aiya eventually gets the bat unstuck. Pablo pulls out a bag of skittles. He pours some into his hand. As Aiya is coming towards him, he slams his hand across her face before striking with a frankensteiner face buster. Pablo quickly goes for the cover.

DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall... the EWC X-DIVISION CHAMPION ... EL PABLO!!!Evans: What a match! What a fight!
Kushnir: El Pablo may have one but Aiya can keep her head raised. Not once did she back down, she took the fight to the champion
El Pablo's music plays as he stands up to his feet. He is standing on the turnbuckles as Aiya slowly makes her way out of the ring.
Evans: Win or loss, I'm still proud to have her representing Prime at StrangleMania.
Kushnir: Speaking of StrangleMania, I hear our Indy Champion, Narumi Tsutsumi, is backstage right now. Let's catch up with her.
The camera cuts to the backstage area ...
Jenna Salvatore finds Narumi stretching backstage.
Salvatore: Narumi, earlier leading up to Prime, you’ve had some choice words over Dalilah’s action at the end of her match with Scorpio. However, as Scorpio’s new ally, she’s had some harsh words for you too. Do you have any more thoughts?
Narumi: I had noticed that Scorpio is a delusional man who sees conspiracies everywhere he goes, but he has found a minion filled with as much nonsense as he is. Sure, I get being eccentric. Sometimes people give me a hard time since they take me literally when I’m being figurative about facing monsters and storms. But at least I don’t make up random stuff when it comes to things that can only be literal.
Narumi makes a bewildered face while talking about what she does next.
Narumi: First, Dalilah accuses me of being a sneaky thief because I won my briefcase and championship by climbing ladders. Two times I had no influence on the match type and won fair and square. Then she says my only real fight was in the Kendo match, which is my match type…….so actually, stuff is done right, according to her, the more things are based on the “opportunist” she hates. And apparently, she’s upset I didn’t defend my championship against Swango, JFS, and herself? I don’t get to decide when my championship is on the line. And even if I could pressure Victor Price on making championship matches.....why would either of us be okay with putting the belt on the line against two people not on the Prime roster and one person who takes dives in the ring, instead of giving a title match to the hard-working roster members of Prime? Can you imagine what kind of rants Scorpio would go on if he had to earn a championship match, but I managed to give title shots to people not on this roster and a person who loses matches on purpose?
Salvatore: Without a doubt, there’d be vocal opposition if you managed to do that.
Narumi nods, shivering at the mere thought of the rant and conspiracies she’d be accused of being a part of. She then looks annoyed.
Narumi: All you do is continue to get on my nerves, Dalilah. The funny thing is you’re right about some things. We both dance with demons and have no issue using weapons. We could have been friends in another world, if you asked me. But I think you project too much beyond that: “Ducking duties”, sounds like throwing matches when you should be wrestling your best. “Broken” and “a disappointment” to “partner, family, and yourself”, sounds to me fits the one known for her personal life issues with Mercenary and her family, and being here for years more than me with no championships to show for it. So tonight I have opposition to what you’ve said, but my opposition will be physical. And when I’m done with you, I’ll handle your boss next
Narumi walks off with the Indy Championship as the show goes on and we return to ringside.

BRAND WARFARE MATCH
KU
Vs Ace King
Vs Remarkable Mark Keaton
Vs Callie Clark
Match Writer: @thehellion
We return to ringside where everyone in attendance is fired up to see what will happen in the first blood match, a FATAL FOUR WAY battle between the brands..
Evans: While "Headhuntress" Aiya represents us at StrangleMania, we turn our collective attention and support to Callie Clark, as we hope she gives it her all, just .. please don't bleed for Prime on this night. It's a four person First Blood Match with all four EWC brands represented, so whoever causes someone to bleed their own blood, wins the match.
Kushnir: Sick dodgeball reference ..
Evans: It's a household favorite of ours .. I couldn't not say it
Kushnir: Bold strategy Cotton ..
Reid: The following match is a Fatal Four Way, First Blood Match Joining us first, from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, weighing in at 230 pounds ... KUUUUU!
'Fuck It' by Seether plays as KU steps through the curtain. He is emotionless as he walks to the ring. As he passes the crowd he looks at them out the corner of his eyes before walking up the steps and into the ring. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and stands motionless and emotionless looking out at the crowd as they boo.
Reid: And the second opponent, from New York, New York, weighing in at 115 pounds ... CALLIE CLARK!!!
"Ace of Spades" rips through Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, India, and the crowd cheers as pyro goes off in time with the opening drum beats. Ace King then calmly steps out onto the stage, his eyes narrowed and focused on the ring.
Reid: Making his way to the ring, FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 235 pounds... He is THE GAMBLER... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG!!!
Ace rolls his head around the back of his neck for a few seconds before focusing back in on the ring, then makes his way down the ramp, interacting with a few fans along the way. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as red pyro explodes from each turnbuckle. Ace pauses on his knees in the middle of the ring for a moment before getting to his feet, his attention locked in on the entrance ramp.
Reid: And their final opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 229 pounds ... REMARKABLE MARK KEATON
After the opening guitar riff of Money for Nothing, Mark Keaton walks out on to the stage, he's wearing a thick, black leather jacket with studs and sunglasses. Mark is smoking a cigarette and sneering. He stops his swagger at the top of the ramp to play some excellent air guitar for a moment. Astonishing Kevin Fisher walks out behind him, he gives Mark a tap on the back of the shoulder. Mark does one final riff then makes a throwing motion, tossing his air guitar into the crowds. Slutty Melons walks out in a revealing, low cut black dress showing off her double D's , she hangs off of Mark's neck in a seductive way and looks playfully back at the camera and winks; Mark removes his cigarette and flicks it at the camera, he starts walking to the ring while banging his head to his entrance music. He removes his sunglasses and jacket then runs, he slides in the ring then runs to the top turnbuckle. He's yelling at the crowds now and flexing his biceps. He jumps down then runs to another turnbuckle, this time he flexes his chest and points to his abs.
DING DING DING
Just after the bell rings, Callie Clark goes on the offensive and gives a beautiful step up high knee in the corner to ACE King sending him flying out of the ring shortly after. He crashes to the ground before she was tapped on the shoulder by KU, who proceeds to hit her with a rear naked choke, causing her to try and break out of the hold. Remarkable Mark Keaton uses this moment to hit a clothesline on both of them, sending them flying to the mat. As all of this played out, Ace King has gotten back into the ring and manages to hit a DDT on Mark Keaton, before playing to the crowd a little bit.
Evans: While the Prime supporter in me is ok with it, he shouldn't be doing this
Kushnir: Exactly, he should be trying to open up an opponent.
Callie and Ace stare each other down while Mark and KU make it back to their feet. She tilts her head to the side with a smirk, before kicking him hard in the stomach and hitting Thor's Hammer on him. KU and Mark Keaton start throwing punches at each other, before they stop and look at each other before double clotheslining Ace King, before he can get back up to his feet. Callie climbs to the top rope to hit Ace with the Calliesault.
Evans: Most other matches that could have gotten the pin.
Kushnir: Shame this isn't that here.
KU blasts Callie in the back with a chair sending her out of the ring. He turns and comes face to face with Mark. Ace stands behind Mark with a chair in his hand. Both smack Mark with their chairs for a conchairto. Mark crumples to the canvas as KU and Ace smack their chairs in a chair versus chair battle. The referee notices a bloody Mark Keaton on the mat.
DING DING DING
Reid: The referee has informed me that your WINNERS, of the First Blood Match are both... ACE KING AND KU!!!Evans: Unbelievable! Both hit him with the chair, both caused him to bleed so the referee has declared both men the winner.
Kushnir: Brawl and Rampage will share the bragging rights here but all four waged a war here. Plus Callie neither won or lost. As much as I would have preferred a Prime win, I can live with that.
Both Ace and KU look awkwardly at each other and contemplate resuming their chair battle. KU drops his to the mat and heads out the ring and up the ramp.
Evans: I still think there's a lot still unsettled here. Plus I want to see KU versus Ace King.
Kushnir: So do I but I'm being told we have a video to see so let's see who and what it is.
The camera cuts to ...
The camera opens to show a close up of a stone wall. The sun trying to break through the clouds of the overcast sky. A dense fog rolling in as Caleb enters the shot and faces the camera. His face showing a look of excitement, an unusual look for Caleb.
Caleb: Here I am, for my first time, in India. Preparing to go to war with 16 other opponents in a Hellevator match. I can barely contain my excitement, knowing that I can use anything and everything around me on my victims. I was so excited that I had to show up early so I could prepare. I needed the extra time because I will have so many victims to deal with after Stranglemania. But don't worry, although they are my victims, I will still take care of their bodies when I am done with them. Of course, I will properly dispose of their corpses.
Caleb leans in towards the camera, clearly trying to mask his excitement as he is trying not to smile.
Caleb: So Isabella, Aquilla, Calaway, Ashe, Jackson, Rivers, Gautier, Lavender, Mania, Storm, Nevaeh, Samson, Keaton, Rayder, Devereaux and Maelstrom...See you at Stranglemania. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must get to work.
Caleb then turns and walks away as the camera turns to follow him, revealing that Caleb is entering the Dutch Tombs cemetery in Ahmedabad.
We return to ringside where we see the EWC fans are waiting in anticipation for the next matchup.
Evans: These fans in attendance in Prime are all excited to see their Indy Champion in what should be a hotly contested matchup! I have to agree with them, this is going to be one for the ages! Dalilah Ashe is coming off of a loss to the EWC Showtime Broadcast Champion, so she should be looking to get some extra momentum on her side by defeating the Indy Champion, Narumi Tsutsumi!
Reid: The following match is set for one fall… Joining us first, from out of the Darkness of your Desires, she is the most Beautiful of Tragedies, the Sweetest of the Deadly Sins and the Last Temptation that you will ever need. She is the Vicious Mistress... DALILAH ASHE!!!
Committed by One-Eyed Doll begins to play and a purple glow illuminates the arena and a violet mist rises from the stage bringing with it the smell dying roses.
Just Another Mental Patient
How I wish this Room Was Vacant
Can't Seem To Break Through These Padded Walls
The curtain parts as Dalilah Ashe appears wearing a crown of black roses and thorns which prick her pale brow bringing small drops of dark red blood. She opens her arms to hold the crowd in the long cold embrace of her contempt.
Locked Up in this Nuthouse Crying
All these Drugs My Brain is Frying
Doctor Says the Lunatic Needs More
Cocking her head to one side and holding her arms stiff at her sides she begins a long zombie walk to the ring, followed closely by her handler Lacey Savage. Climbing stiffly up onto the apron she looms over the audience like some ancient goddess of lust and death. She smiles down at them, slowly wetting her painted lips with the tip of her tongue before throwing her head back with a mocking laugh. She slides between the ropes with an evil expression to stare down her opponent with a wicked grin and nothing but bad intentions.
Strap Me Down they Must Sedate Me
Poke Me, Prod Me, Irritate Me
No Choice but to be the Needle's Whore
Reid: And her opponent, making her way to the ring, weighing in at 125 pounds, from Shinjuku Japan… she is the Onihime and the EWC Indy Champion… NARUMI TSUTSUMI!!!
Stage spotlights shine down in the dark as "The Baddest" by Raon Lee begins to play with the oni princess skipping onto the scene in a pink oni mask. Narumi waves at the fans as the spotlight follows her. As she makes her to the ring apron, she turns to the camera to take off her mask and blows a kiss as the lights turn back on in the arena. She enters the ring to skip around and wave at the crowd.
DING DING DING
Narumi runs towards Dalilah looking for a superman punch, but Dalilah dodges it by stepping to the side. It seems to be what Narumi was looking for instead though as she jumps up onto the middle turnbuckle, coming back towards Dalilah with a crossbody that Dalilah also dodges! Dalilah jumps up onto the middle ropes while Narumi rolls backward onto her feet and Dalilah connects with a springboard crossbody splash! Dalilah rolls off of Narumi and runs towards the ropes, looking to get more momentum into her next move. Narumi has other things on her mind however as she connects with a superman punch to Dalilah on the rebound! Narumi kneels down next to Dalilah’s head to hit her with an Ippon Punch! Dalilah still has a lot of life left in her body as she rolls towards the ropes to help herself back up quickly. Dalilah and Narumi gain some distance from each other after feeling each other out.
Evans: It's going to take al lot more than that here.
Kushnir: That it will and I look forward to seeing it.
Narumi attempts to connect with a hip toss but Dalilah counters it by landing on her feet, ending up behind Narumi for a split second. That’s all it takes for Dalilah to drop her from behind with an inverted DDT, not letting go of Narumi’s head to lock in a dragon sleeper, fully connecting with the Memento Mori! Life seems to be draining away from the Indy Champion as Dalilah continues to exert pressure onto her head. It isn’t until the referee raises Narumi that life begins to show up once more, Narumi getting back up to her feet and driving her elbow into Dalilah’s stomach. Dalilah is forced to let go of her grip and Narumi spins herself around, connecting with The Master Sword! Narumi goes for the pinfall after the big move, the referee quickly getting into position.
ONE…
TWO…
THR—NO! DALILAH ASHE KICKS OUT!!!
Evans: Any closer and the bell rings!
Kushnir: I'm surprised it isn't.
Narumi looks surprised by the mere fact that Dalilah would kick out of the Master Sword. She stands up and calls for the end of the match, looking to end Dalilah’s night. Dalilah stumbles up to her feet, allowing Narumi the opportunity to hit the Paymon on her. NO! Dalilah instead counters it by catching Narumi before she can hit the full impact of the move and lifts her up into a powerbomb position. Dalilah executes a picture-perfect sitting powerbomb to make Narumi pay. Dalilah picks Narumi up with Narumi’s back towards her, giving her the perfect opportunity to hit the Brutus Blade. Dalilah goes for her finish but Narumi somehow scouts it out beforehand and manages to hit the Onigokko! Narumi goes over to the corner and kneels down, waiting for Dalilah to get back up. When she does, Narumi runs towards her and hits the Wrapping Hime! Narumi wraps Dalilah into a spinning wheelbarrow victory roll, going for the pinfall victory.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall... NARUMI TSUTSUMI!!!
Evans: And that is why Narumi is the champion!
Kushnir: Dalilah Ashe gave a good fight and tried her very best to weaken Narumi before StrangleMania but it wasn't enough and it's Narumi that wins here tonight.
Narumi Tsutsumi grabs her championship from the referee and begins celebrating with it, the crowd cheering her as she does. Narumi climbs the turnbuckles groggily and raises her championship over her head.
Evans: Narumi celebrating here but will her StrangleMania opponent Scorpio, also celebrate tonight?
Kushnir: We will find out as he looks to defend his Showtime Broadcast Championship against Bosa and it's up next! We'll be back right after this 30 second commercial break
The camera cuts to a commercial break ...
Evans: We just finished witnessing a brutal war between our Indy Champion, Narumi Tsutsumi and our very own Last Temptation, Dalilah Ashe. But now, folks, we’re about to go into a potential Match Of The Night fight for this evening. Will we hear AND STILL and witness Scorpio’s reign continue, or will Bosa make history by becoming a two time Broadcast Champion and moving onto Stranglemania as the Prime representative? We’re about to find out! Take us away, Reid!
The arena goes silent as Damon Reid stands at center ring. Around him, camera's flash and fans speak amongst themselves as he slowly raises a microphone to his lips.
Reid: The following match is for one fall, and it is for the Showtime Broadcast Championship! Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring your attention to the Beast Incarnate. He is a man known the world over for his power, strength, and never surrender attitude. He is a second generation superstar with a family legacy that will be spoken about for years to come. Hailing from Marin, California! Here is the BEAST OF PRIME ... BOOOOOOOSSSSSSAAAAAAAA!!!!
"Psychosocial" – Slipknot begins to play! The crowd completely erupts as Bosa emerges from the backstage area! Stopping on the stage area, he glares at the ring a moment, adjusting his gloves and pads. Taking a deep breath, he looks around the arena as the fans cheer him on. Licking his lips, he nods his head.
The camera slowly pans around Bosa now as the fans continue to respond loudly! Bosa remains in place, allowing himself to bask in the moment. With one last nod, he begins to walk down the rampway and slide under the bottom rope. He paces the ring, stretching his arms as he does so. The arena is completely overwhelmed by the sounds of the fans stomping their feet and clapping their hands.
Bosa's theme song slowly fades out as he stands in place, anticipating the battle that is yet to come. In the distance, the fans begin to chant his name. Bosa nods and remains focused on the match that is about to begin.
'Rule Britannia' hits the speakers as red, white, and blue lighting flashes around the arena. The crowd begin to boo loudly as the image of a waving Union Jack is displayed on the X-Tron. Superimposed on this is the message "Please be upstanding for your Prime Minister". After a little while the orchestral music fades down...
Reid: Please welcome, from London, England, weighing in at 205 lbs... 'The People's Camp', 'The Baddest Bitch On The Planet', 'The Prime Minister'... ... 'THE S-FACTOR' SCORPIO!
'Iconic' - Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the ring. Scorpio climbs up one set of steps as Crème climbs the other, parting the ropes to allow 'The S-Factor'' in. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face.
DING DING DING
Bosa wastes little time in charging forward, refusing to give Scorpio any time to form a battle plan. What the S-Factor lacks in brute strength, however, is made up for with agility. Like a skilled matador, he gracefully sidesteps out of the way.
Bosa manages to stop himself before he runs into a turnbuckle or even out of the ring. What he fails to avoid, however, is a vicious Enzuigiri straight to The Beast’s jaw! Bosa manages to shake the pain off, glaring a hole through Scorpio all the while. After some quick contemplation, the Beast takes a step forward, looking as if he’s going to charge again.
It’s a feint!
He reveals what he was really aiming for as The Beast grabs tightly onto Scorpio’s arm! He drags The Prime Minister forward, hoists him up, only to slam him down hard onto the canvas with a Snap Suplex! The crowd cheers for Bosa, much to Scorpio’s annoyance, as the Prime Minister slowly begins getting back to a vertical base.
Evans: He does not look happy does he?
Kushnir: He thinks of himself as Prime's saviour and the Prime crowd here in India are supporting his opponent.
Bosa reaches for Scorpio’s shoulders, seeming to already have his next plan of action figured out. The S-Factor gives him a ‘how dare you’ type of glare before slapping the hand off. Scorpio then follows up with a Superkick from out of nowhere!
Bosa stumbles back, but manages to keep his footing. Now The S-Factor takes his turn to charge forward, hitting The Beast with Brexit Means Brexit! It damn well nearly beheads Bosa, causing him to fall onto the canvas. Scorpio goes for a cover and looks to secure yet another win!
ONE!
TWO!!
TH—NO!!
The crowd roars in approval as Bosa gets a shoulder up. Scorpio, meanwhile, looks furious. He’s trying to keep his cool, but we can see that’s becoming an easier said than done task. Bosa grabs onto Scorpio’s legs and drags him down! He then gets on top and begins delivering mounted punches!
Left! Right! Left! Right! The punches fly down like a trained soldier as they all find their marks and land straight on Scorpio’s face! Five hard, calculated strikes are delivered before Bosa pulls Scorpio up to his feet … and then lifts him up into the air! It’s a Stalling Chokeslam!
Bosa goes for his own opportunity as he sees a chance to leave the match with his own win.
ONE!
TWO!!
THR – NOOO! It’s not enough as Scorpio gets his own shoulder up. Bosa grimaces, but nods. He seems to know exactly what needs to be done to end this once and for all.
Evans: Bosa looks like he's going to rip Scorpios's shoulder off and beat him with it.
Kushnir: Part of me wants to see that I will admit.
A sly smirk abruptly appears on Scorpio’s face. Bosa quirks an eyebrow, not understanding or seeing the amusement. He tries to follow his gaze, but The S-Factor keeps the challenger’s gaze on him as the two resume exchanging punches to one another.
The camera pans slightly away from the fight as we see the source of Scorpio’s smug grin. Dalilah Ashe is slowly sauntering her way towards the ring. Before she can reach her destination, however, a bloodied hand grabs a handful of her hair. It’s “Headhuntress” Aiya!
Dalilah turns to throw a punch at the red-haired woman, but stops as she sees that not only did Aiya come to stop her from intervening, but she already has a weapon with her! A shard of glass, which is put dangerously close to Dalilah’s neck as Aiya continues to keep a firm grip on her hair!
Now Scorpio isn’t just furious. No, he’s livid!
This distraction, however, has given Bosa ample time to recover. The S-Factor hastily turns around, realizing the match is still ongoing, but all it does is allow Bosa to more easily execute his finisher! The UTB! It lands flush!
Bosa hooks the legs! Dalilah looks on in horror, screaming out in anger and frustration as the count begins!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall, AND THE NEW EWC SHOWITME BROADCAST CHAMPION, ... BOOOOOOOSSSSSSAAAAAAAA!!!Evans: OH MY GOD! A NEW CHAMPION!!
Kushnir: Hats of to Scorpio. He's defended the Showtime Broadcast Championship for nine months, for the best part of 260 days and has damn near ruled over Prime with an iron heeled boot. However, on this night Bosa was just that little bit better and he becomes a two time Broadcast Champion and he now heads to StrangleMania and the clash of the Broadcast Champions and I have to say, on the basis of this match, he goes in a very heavy favorite.
Satisfied with what she’s seen, Aiya drops the shard of glass. She then spins Dalilah around and delivers a vicious Spinebuster to The Last Temptation. Before either Dalilah or Scorpio can try to chase after Aiya, she’s already out of sight and has ran backstage, possibly out of the stadium.
The realization of him losing causes a second wind to surge through Scorpio. He darts out of the ring, yanks Dalilah up to her feet, and all but drags her with him as they begin looking for “Headhuntress” Aiya.
Bosa, meanwhile, shakes his head as he accepts the Showtime Championship and raises it over his head! The crowd chants his name as he celebrates his victory in the ring. We cut back to commentary as Bosa enjoys his win and new title!
Evans: I can't wait to see these Stitches and the NEW Broadcast Champion, Bosa in their matches at StrangleMania
Kushnir: Before that, we have our main event to go and we can go to now to the Southern Express as Jimmy Lane prepares for battle.
The camera cuts to the backstage area ..
The camera cuts backstage inside the Gandhi Arena where we find Bobby Rose talking to a beer vendor.
Rose: Ok, so you’re telling me this…
Vendor: Kingfisher…
Rose: Kingfisher, yeah…it’s a…
Vendor: Lager…
Bobby shrugs and nods and takes the beer.
Rose: Alright then, I’m sold…give me 6…
Bobby pulls out a handful of Indian Rupee and holds it out to the vendor, who starts taking the cash as Bunny Love walks by.
Love: THERE YOU ARE!!! Oh for christ shakes…
Bunny walks over and pulls out the correct amount of cash and hands it to the vendor, who hands Bobby the six Kingfisher’s.
Love: Now come on, Jimmy needs our support here tonight and I need you not to be blackout drunk out there…
Rose: Listen, I was thinking, what if…
Love: NO!!!
Rose: But you didn’t even hear my plan…
Love: I don’t need to, the answer is still NO…
Bobby shrugs as Bunny grabs him and pulls him towards Jimmy Lane, who is talking with Prime’s Jenna Salvatore, they sneak up behind Jimmy as Jenna asks.
Salvatore: Tonight Jimmy you are stepping out of your element and entering the ring as a singles wrestler…you have to be nervous…
Jimmy smiles and waves her off like it’s no thing.
Lane: Jenna, Jimmy Lane doesn’t get nervous…
Bobby cracks open a Kingfisher and snaps the cap across the backstage area.
Rose: That’s a lie, remember how nervous you were the night you lost your virginity or the time you locked down your first threesome with the Crockett Twins…or that time…
Bunny smacks Bobby to shut him up.
Rose: WHAT…
Love: Jimmy is prepared for tonight, 100%...
Rose: Yeah, he completed Chico’s Beginner’s Wrestling Class, 3rd in his class…show him the certificate…OW!!!
Once again Bunny smacks Bobby.
Love: The truth is…
Lane: The truth is this is my first singles match, yeah but you heard Eddie Dozier, he’s here tonight looking for a fight and Jenna I might not be much of a singles wrestler but I am one hell of a fighter Jenna…
Rose: YES HE IS and Jenna, there is nobody I would want in a fight than my boy Jimmy Lane…
Bobby tosses the bottle over his shoulder and cracks open another Kingfisher.
Salvatore: And tonight, you Bobby will be handcuffed to Callie Clark…
Rose: Yes I will, which reminds me…
Bobby hands Jenna his Kingfisher and reaches into the front of his jeans and pulls out a set of handcuffs and swings them around his finger.
Salvatore: You brought your own handcuffs?
Rose: Yeah and do you know how hard these were to sneak through the airport security?
Salvatore: Bobby, WE provide the handcuffs…
Love: Yeah, why would you…wait…where did you hide those…you know what I don’t want to know…
Lane: Bobby here will be handcuffed to Callie for Eddie’s protection…see he’s worried that Bobby will get involved so his plan is to have Bobby handcuffed to his tag team partner after she fights in a fatal fourway first blood match…
Salvatore: Yes, and your tag team partner is drunk off Kingfisher…
Bobby nods as he chucks the empty bottle over his shoulder and cracks open another one.
Lane: Yeah he is but…he has to have a reason why, right Bobby…
Bobby takes a long drink and points at Jimmy.
Rose: I sure do buddy, see if I need a distraction out there I’ll just puke all over the place…
Love: And this is why I’m cutting you off…
Bunny reaches out and takes the rest of Bobby’s Kingfisher’s.
Salvatore: But you have to admit, Eddie Dozier does have experience over you as a singles wrestler…
But Jimmy waves her off.
Lane: Jenna darling, I’ve been inside that ring with the very best of the EWC and SURE, it was in tag team matches but I went one on one with Ace King, Xavier Reid, Samantha Hamilton, El Pablo, Gabi Visconty, Candy, Stitches, Nevaeh, Melody Malone, Iggy Swango, Narumi Tsutsumi and have wins over them all…what’s Eddie done other than lose his last two singles matches…listen tonight he came here to Gandhi’s Arena looking for a fight and a fight I’ll give him on the eve of our StrangleMania match…come on guys…
Jimmy motions for Bobby and Bunny to follow him but Bobby can’t help himself as he grabs one of his Kingfisher’s ‘to go’ as he winks at Jenna.

WARMUP MATCH
EDDIE DOZIER
Vs JIMMY LANE
Match Writer: @themiracle
We return to ringside where, after another amazing night from start to finish for PRIME and the EWC, Marshall Evans is ready to kick off the night’s main event .. (while I sip this sweet sweet juice from the wrestling gods .. aka .. coffee) ..
Evans: Fans, this night has been one that has left all of us on the edges of our seats all night, but HANG ON because things are about to get even wilder! At Stranglemania, the biggest show in all of professional wrestling, Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane will be defending the EWC World Tag Team Championships against Eddie Dozier and Callie Clark in what should be one of the most competitive matches of the night but first, here tonight, we have a little preview for you right here on Showtime and EWCTV .. It’s one half of The Southern Express, Jimmy Lane, as he goes head to head with Sabotage’s Eddie Dozier. OH, and Bobby Rose and Callie Clark will be HANDCUFFED to each other on the outside to make sure neither one is able to interfere! Let’s take it over to Damon Reid for the announcements!
Images of rain falling on cement are seen on the big screen as "Raining Blood" by Slayer begins to play. When the guitar riffs begin, the lights in the arena turn yellow. Eddie Dozier steps out from the back to a loud chorus of boos. Dozier has a look of disgust on his face as he bends down and starts rocking back and forth.
As Dozier stretches out his arms and wipes down his vest, he calmly walks down to the ring, ignoring all of the haters.
Reid: Ladies and gentlemen. It is the EWC's privilege to bring back to you the EWC's Nightmare! Weighing in at two hundred and fifty-five pounds. Louisville, Kentucky's finest. EDDIE DOZIER!
Dozier smirks at the rowdy boos when his name is announced. He climbs up onto the apron and enters the ring through the ropes. He walks around the ring and yells out into the crowd as they boo louder. With a smirk, he steps into the corner to wait for his opponent.
The electric guitar kicks in to 'Stranglehold' as the crowd gets to their feet, some of the older females in the crowd start to scream like they did when they were younger as Bunny Love walks out onto the stage and is quickly followed by Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane
Reid: The following match is a singles contest set for one fall. Joining us first, from NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, weighing in at 227 pounds ... JIMMY LANE!
Bunny leads the way as the pair reach out and high five with the fans as the walk to the ring, Bunny marches up the steps and steps through the ropes as Bobby and Jimmy climb up onto the apron and step through the ropes, take off the titles and hands them to Bunny and head to opposite corners, Jimmy climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and Bobby stands in the corner as both men toss out bandannas to the crowd as Bunny stands in the middle of the ring holding up both tag team championship belts.
Evans: Ladies and gentlemen, it… is… time! Bunny is leaving the ringside area and EWC officials are cuffing Bobby Rose and Callie Clark together as… it seems Rose is really enjoying this. Callie… yeah. Not so much. Alright, anyways, here we go, everyone! The ref has brought the competitors into the middle of the ring and is running down the rules. Here comes the bell! It’s a sneak preview of Stranglemania!!
DING DING DING
The bell rings and both Dozier and Lane stand in their respective corners, staring each other down. On the outside, Bobby Rose starts slapping the mat in a rhythm, trying to drum up early support for his partner, and the fans quickly join in as right beside him Callie Clark shoots him the death stare, clearly regretting her life choices agreeing to these stipulations.
Lane, although still sore and damaged from the brutal scaffold match with Rushin’ Roulette at Rampage 496, feeds into the support and gets pumped up. He starts faking out Dozier, acting as if he is going in for the takedown to play some mind games with the big man. The tag champ finally goes in for the take down and Dozier shows off his athleticism and strength, blocking him, instead lifting him up for a Flatliner! He then mounts the champ, laying into his face furiously with left and rights. Now Callie Clark taunts both Bobby Rose and the fans, doing some mat slapping of her own in appreciation of her tag partner as he works on softening the already weakened Jimmy Lane ahead of their tag team title match at the biggest show of the year.
Evans: Bit of an argument going on here
Kushnir: Callie is willing Dozier to his feet so he can go on and win this.
Eddie Dozier looks around at the crowd with a coy smile on his face, amused at his own intentions. He then yanks Jimmy Lane up and lays his chest over the bottom rope. That injured chest that hit the top rope when Lane fell off the scaffold at Rampage #496. He then sits on Lane’s back, pushing that injured chest into the ropes with all of his weight! He grabs the top rope and uses it for leverage to dish out even more pain on the battered Southern Express member. On the outside, Callie Clark is using the fact she is cuffed to Bobby Rose to her advantage as Rose battles to get to his partner and help him, but Callie has grabbed on tight to the ring post on the opposite end and is clinging on for dear life, leaving Rose to look on helplessly. Dozier releases Lane only to walk over and taunt Bobby Rose from the ring. He points at him, laughing as he observes the look of fear and concern for his best friend in his eyes. While he’s wasting time being a prick, Lane battles back to his feet! … Only for Dozier to turn around and immediately spot him. Dozier goes in, taking Lane’s arm and going for an Irish Whip, aiming to send Lane into the ropes but it is reversed! Dozier hits the rope, comes back with momentum, and gets smashed in the teeth with a gorgeous standing dropkick from Jimmy Lane that sends him down on his ass hard! The crowd pops, on their feet cheering for Jimmy to get up!
And on the outside, Bobby Rose and Callie Clark and brawling back and forth with their free hands! Rose randomly goes in for a kiss, Callie ducks it, and smashes Buddy Rose’s head into the guardrail! He’s busted wide open!
Evans: Bloody hell!
Kushnir: spilling her coffee .. It's not just woman scorned. Callie is proving you don't mess with a woman full stop. I'm all for it.
Callie Clark now grinds Bobby Rose’s bleeding forehead into the railing like it’s cheese through a grater as EWC cameras catch a sick close-up. OUT OF NOWHERE COMES JIMMY LANE INTO CAMERA SHOT! Over the top rope Crossbody Splash! He takes out his partner as well, flattening both Bobby Rose and Callie Clark against the cold, hard steel! The fans in the immediate vicinity are loving it, now covered in Bobby Rose’s blood. Luckily, the EWC has great liability insurance.
With Rose and Clark now both disabled for the foreseeable future, Jimmy Lane rolls back into the ring looking to finish off Eddie Dozier and grab the victory heading into the big show. He backs up blindly into the center of the ring, his eyes affixed with the sight of the wreckage he just left behind… he keeps backing up right into the waiting Eddie Dozier! Dozier spins him around… ‘Sacrifice’ Double Arm DDT on the tag champ! Lane is down and Dozier hooks the leg.
One! …
TWO …..
TH-No! Kick out from Jimmy Lane!
Evans: Very close to winning this. I don't know where Lane got the strength to kick out.
Kushnir: Same here, I thought that was it too.
Eddie Dozier is visibly upset and arguing with the referee, fully convinced that was a slow count. Lane shakes off the cobwebs, reaches up, and grabs Dozier up in a Schoolboy!
One! …
TW-No! Kickout from Eddie Dozier!
Both men are on their feet and brawling around the ring. Kicks, punches, chops, you name it… Eddie Dozier even resorts to raking the eyes of Lane to get the upper hand! He sends the blinded tag champ into the ropes. Lane hits the ropes, but right behind him is Dozier. Lane hits the ropes, bounces back towards Dozier, and collides when Dozier charges him and hits a Spear that almost cuts through Lane like a hot knife through butter!
He goes to stand up, and Bobby Rose grabs his boot on the outside! Rose has made it back to his feet and dragged Callie Clark along with him to attempt to assist his partner. The referee immediately convenes and orders Bobby Rose to back away from the ring. He doesn’t have to act twice, however, because Callie Clark is active again and has a huge handful of Bobby Rose’s thinning hair, pulling him forcefully down. Meanwhile, the groggy Jimmy Lane reaches into his tights back in the ring and comes out with a fistful of… white… powdery substance? Eddie Dozier turns around from paying attention to what’s going on outside and… GETS A FACEFUL OF SNOW, COURTESY OF JIMMY LANE! There’s white powder going everywhere! The kids at ringside are coated in it now.
Evans: I'm sure something is happening but I can't see shit!
Kushnir: The hell did it all come from?
Eddie Dozier is blinded! Jimmy wastes no time and moves in quick for the kill! Superkick! He hooks the leg as the ref slides down for the count. On the outside, Callie is struggling to get into the ring to break the count, but Bobby Rose holds her back, both of them now covered in Bobby’s blood.
One! …
TWO …..
THREE!!
DING DING DING
Reid: And your winner, via pinfall ... JIMMY LANE!!!Bobby lets go of Callie and she crawls into the ring toward Dozier. Bobby reaches into the ring and drags Jimmy out. He raises Jimmy's arm in victory as he helps Jimmy up the ramp. The Bunny appears and helps out too.
Evans: I don't know where they find it, but somehow the Southern Express find a way to win when they need it. Jimmy Lane .. just .. wow ..
Kushnir: Dozier on the losing side here but he was close on many occasions to victory here tonight though. He'll lick his wounds from tonight and he'll be looing for the win and the championships when we get to StrangleMania.
Evans: With that we are out of time here in India. So from Victor Price, the Prime roster, Hayley and myself (and me .. don't you .. forget about me ..) we thank you for joining us and wish you a goodnight. However, be sure to join us for StrangleMania from right here in India on March 28th. It is Switzerland on April 10th where you will find Hayley and myself next time on Prime. Good night everyone!
The camera fades as replays of the night are shown on the X-Tron and referees and security try and keep Sabotage and The Southern Express apart as the fans eat it all up!
