Back inside Doak S. Campbell Stadium, the crowd is absolutely electric now as spotlights circle around the stadium as the thousands of fans in attendance are shown in a wide angle shot. The camera then pans back out showing a full-scale view of the jam-packed stadium and zooms in on some crazy fans. The crowd is rowdy, chanting the company's namesake at such a loud volume that it's a wonder that the music can be heard at all. Watson: It seems like we will be hearing from Chris Brock before anything else!
The crowd is on their feet as our General Manager makes his way down the ramp, greeting fans along the way. Once in the ring, Isabella Starr is standing by waiting to hand off the microphone.
Brock: TALLAHASSEE! Home of the Garnet and Gold! Tonight we are going to turn this town Orange and White because we are showcasing all of the talent that has made Paramount your TWO TIME reigning brand of the year!
The crowd cheers.
Brock: Four years ago, I walked into this ring in Paris and told you all how I saw it when it came to the locker room, and the state of the Orange brand. Since then, I have seen nothing but stars in my eyes as over and over again this roster, this brand, has exceeded my expectations over and over. It has been my absolute honor to be this brands General Manager since 2019 and as I step in the ring later tonight to FIGHT for this brand, I will remind you all that this ain't Prime.... This ain't Friday Night Rampage and as King Flip is about to learn, this DAMN SURE ain't Monday Night Brawl... THIS... IS.. PARAMOUNT !!!!! AND TONIGHT there is going to be an UPRISING!!!
Brock yells out, as pumped as the crowd seems to be as they rally behind his battle cry! He lightly tosses the mic to Isabella Starr as he beats his chest before rolling out to the floor and back up the ramp as the camera fades to a commercial for EWCTV.

We return to ringside where Matt Mercer is standing inside the ring while nervously looking out at the roaring crowd of college students.
Watson: Here we go, it’s time for the first of three tag team matches here at Uprising. Nika Kosov and Addy will be teaming up to face The Kruel Masters in what should be a fairly good match.
Sydney: I really hope those two are ready for The Kruel Masters.
Starr: The following is a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from Russia, weighing in at 145 pounds ... NIKA KOSOV!
As the lights dim and the cheers of the crowd fill the air, as Nika's music fills the ears of everyone in attendance. The curtains part, and out steps the stunning Nika Kosov, her piercing blue eyes scanning the audience. She strides purposefully towards the ring, her movements graceful and fluid, as the crowd cheers her every step. With a flick of her wrist, she tosses her black and red jacket to the side, revealing the curves and toned muscles beneath her wrestling gear. As she climbs the steps and enters the ring, she flashes a confident smile, ready to unleash her years of military training and MMA expertise.
Starr: And her tag team partner, from San Francisco, California, weighing in at 120 pounds ... ADRIANA AQUILLA!
Iron by Within Temptation hits the speakers and the crowd comes alive as Adriana Aquilla makes her way down to the ring, she slaps hands with a couple of fans before rolling into the ring ready for her match as she removes her jacket.
Starr: And their opponents, from The Core Spire, at a combined weight of 398 pounds ... THE KRUEL MASTERS!
The lights in the arena goes black as the opening chords of "Rest In Peace" by Dorothy start echoing through the system. A video package begins to play as red smoke fills the stage. A single stage light shines through the smoke as Kolby and his wife Daphne step through the smoke. Daphne is holding a dice tray as Kolby rolls a D20. They both look at the dye before moving forward down the ramp. The both slide into the ring as Kolby posts himself up onto the nearest turnbuckle. Daphne stands next to him with a smile on her face as the song slowly starts to fade.
Watson: The Kruel Masters look ready for a fight.
DING DING DING
The bell sounds as Nika and Daphne decide to start the match for their respective teams. Nika and Daphne circle each other before they meet in the center. Both women look up in a collar elbow tie up with Nika managers to gain the upper hand with a side headlock. Daphne slams her forearm into the side of Nika. Each blow lands harder and harder as Nika shoots her off toward the ropes. Nika manages to catch Daphne with a snap powerslam. Nika doesn’t stop as she picks Daphne up and flings her into the corner. Nika starts unloading rights and lefts starting with the body then finishing it with a couple jabs across her face.
Nika holds out her hand and tags Addy into the match. Both women grab Daphne by her hands and looks to fling her across the ring. However they pull her back while doing a hi low double team attack with Nika going low and Addy going high. Addy quickly jumps up to her feet and springs off the ropes looking for a moonsault. Just as she is about to land, Daphne manages to get her knees up in time.
Watson: Oh, that one's gonna hurt! Daphne with the quick legs there causing some pain on what could have been devastating early on in this match.
Sydney: I have to say I am very surprised to see the early teamwork here from Nika and Addy. instant chemistry like that is not easy to come by.
Addy clutches her midsection as Daphne rolls over toward the ropes while using them to stand up. Addy gets to her feet as well as Daphne comes charging at her. Addy ducks under the clothesline attempt and rebounds off the ropes while catching Daphne with a single leg dropkick. Addy quickly goes for a quick cover.
ONE...
TW...
Daphne rolls her shoulder up as Addy quickly gets back up to her feet. Addy pulls Daphne up to her feet and goes to shoot her off. Daphne counters Addy with a short arm clothesline. Daphne maintains control as she pulls Addy back up and throws her into the ropes. Addy bounces off them as Daphne leaps into the air as both woman clash together.
Watson: Shades of a car wreck there as we have a mid-ring collision on our hands!
Sydney: Addy needs to tag in the fresh legs and they need to keep the pressure on Daphne here. if they can do that, this team might get a win tonight.
Both Addy and Daphne are holding their midsections as they work their way towards their respective corners. Nika is hopping up and down while trying to get the crowd behind them. Addy drags herself over and tags Nika. Nika leaps over the ropes right as Daphne tags in her husband. A collective gasp comes over Tallahassee as Kolby steps into the ring. Nika comes charging at Kolby who catches her with a quick upper cut to her jaw. Nika staggers back as Kolby catches her with knee to her gut. Kolby wraps his arm around Nika’s neck and snaps off a Suplex. He follows it up with a seated abdominal stretch.
Kolby continues to apply pressure as Nika struggles to get out of the hold. Kolby pulls Nika up before striking with an inverted Suplex. Boos echo through the Doak Campbell Stadium as Kolby pulls Nika up to her feet. Nika starts firing back with rights and lefts. She also starts throwing kicks into his legs before bouncing off the ropes and connects with a sling blade.
Watson: Kolby quickly taking the momentum over here, and this is NOT what Nika or Adrianna were hoping for I'm sure.
Sydney: Kolby has a power advantage for sure, but Nika is a former MMA fighter. that instinct is quickly taking over.
Nika quickly goes for the cover.
ONE...
TW..
Kolby kicks out as Nika slowly gets back up to her feet. She bounces off the ropes again as Addy blind tags herself in without Kolby knowing. Nika charges at Kolby who ducks a clothesline but gets caught with a dropkick to the back as Addy comes springing off the ropes. Kolby staggers forward as Addy bounces off the ropes while looking to wrap her legs around Kolby’s head and looks to shoot him across the ring. However Kolby catches her in mid rotation and slams her down with a sidewalk slam. Kolby gets back up to his feet and pulls Addy to her feet. He flings her across the ring like a javelin.
As Addy is getting up, Nika tags herself back into the match.
Watson: Smart, quick tag there by Nika to get Addy out of the path of destruction that Kolby is on here!
Sydney: Let's hope it helps!
Kolby catches Nika with a quick jab to the gut. Nika doubled over as Kolby pulls her head in between his legs. Right as he lifts her up, she slams a fist right down onto his face. She does this several more times before she grabs Kolby by the head and slams him face down into the canvas. Nika gets up to her feet and runs toward the ropes. As she reaches the ropes, Daphne catches her with a sharp forearm to the back of the head.
Nika stumbles forward as Daphne hops down off the apron. Kolby slowly gets to his feet as Daphne grabs Addy by the ankles and yanks her off the apron. Addy fights back before Daphne shoves her into the steel ring steps. Kolby is landing shot after to the rib cage of Nika as Daphne hood back up onto the ring apron. Kolby tags Daphne as she climbs up onto the turnbuckle. Kolby picks Nika up as they connect with Guilty. Daphne rolls Nika over as she hooks both legs.
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pin fall THE KRUEL MASTERS!
”Rest In Peace” starts playing again as Daphne and Kolby meet in the center of the ring with a smirk on their faces. Nika slowly rolls out of the ring just Addy is coming too.
Watson: That was just brutal. The Kruel Masters have been unleashed. Nika and Addy worked well as a team. Maybe we could see them in the tag division some day, but tonight the Kreul Masters were just on another level here tonight. If they keep this aggression up, they could be on a path that may one day lead them to an opportunity for the EWC World Tag Team Championships.
Sydney: Nika and Addy never stood a chance. Daphne and Kolby proved that this isn’t just a phase for them. All I know is that Tag Team wrestling in EWC just got put on notice!
Watson: And we've still got two more tag team bouts tonight, when Damage Inc take on the Lone Wolves and the reigning EWC Tag Team Champions Aiya and Narumi take on Paramount's own 3pac!
Sydney: Turns out tag team turmoil isn't just a Brawl gimmick after all! We've got Jadyn Keem and Sueñe El Molde going one on one for Contendership to the North American championship coming up next! But before we get to the contenders matches later on, we've got an interesting development from earlier today and it involves the Queen herself... Melody Malone.

The Extreme-Tron begins to play a feed with the words ‘earlier today’ in the bottom right corner. The sun is shining outside, and a throng of people are gathered on either side of a roped off entrance to Doak S Campbell Stadium. The fans have seen some of the most familiar faces on Paramount make their entrance, preparing for tonight’s show, but the chatter grows louder as the next valet’d car approaches. Stepping out from the backseat first is Rachel. Her hair slicked back into a long ponytail is all it takes for the fans to be worked into a frenzy, knowing who else must also be occupying the vehicle. Rory steps out next, followed by the former Undisputed champion herself, Melody Malone.
“Melody!”
A fan shrieks, and the phones all come out to a chorus of shutter clicks in the sea of fans. She levies a gaze out to the crowd, her trademark smirk planted on her face as Rachel has already made her way to the door to speak to the security team.
Rory: You think they’ll be so nice to ye once you’ve beaten El Pablo into a pulp again?
Melody Malone: Will they have a choice? Tonight is just step one..
A commotion begins in the crowd, and before Malone and Rory can make it to the door, a desperate voice cuts through the chatter.
Voice: Rhia NO!
Melody stumbles, a heavy thud against her knee. Before she has time to register what’s happened, the weight is gone as quickly as it came. She looks down, seeing nothing, but following the gaze of the crowd she finds Rory with a wriggling child in his arms. The expression on her face slowly morphs from sour to confusion, the laughing girl looking right back at Melody as her father struggles through the crowd to the front where he eagerly attempts to retrieve his child from the Queen’s consort and the swarming security guards. The girl, Rhia, looks at Melody with wild cerulean eyes as she peers over Rory’s shoulder. Her smile is bright and chaotic, dark hair sticking to her cheeks in the humid Florida air. Rory hands off the child back to her father, who speaks through Rory, his gaze focused on Malone instead.
Man: Sorry about that, thank you.
Malone reaches out, grasping Rory’s hand and pulling him back from the crowd’s edge and toward the door. Rachel looks to both Melody and the crowd, confused as to what’s transpired before Melody hisses under her breath to her business manager.
Melody Malone: I need you to HANDLE THAT… now..
Rachel’s face blanks, unsure of what exactly has happened before she goes to get more information from the security team and the Queen disappears into the building with an equally confused Scotsman in tow as the camera focuses on the ‘For Authorized Use Only’ sign on the door before fading out back ringside.

The camera cuts backstage inside Doak Campbell Stadium where we see Bunny Love in her manager's gear as she grabs a bottle of water out of the cooler. She turns around to walk away and jumps, startled by the man in a full suit who is standing in front of her smiling. He is none other than Mr. Gary Kavanagh, the Vice President of Apple Marketing and Development, who we last saw at Paramount #030…
Kavanagh: Miss Love, just the person I was looking for…
Bunny takes a moment to calm down from being surprised, her breathing slows as she turns the cap on the water and takes a drink from the bottle.
Kavanagh: I know you are a busy young lady here tonight but if I could just have a moment of your time…
Love: Listen Mr…
Kavanagh: Kavanagh…Vice President of…
But Bunny holds up her hand…
Love: Yeah, the Apple guy listen, I don’t want to be rude but I have no clue where Xavier’s contract with Brawl stands right now but at X-Division Champion I know he’s a quad-brand champion and you guys can request his services anytime you want and give him the pitch yourself…
Mr. Kavanagh smiles and nods at Bunny Love…
Kavanagh: This is correct and while we would love for you to help us in the recruitment of Xavier Reid that is not why I wanted a moment…it’s about your tag team…
Bunny nods as she takes another drink of water…
Love: Listen, I know they don’t look like much but Deimos and ‘Little’ Danny but looks can be deceiving…I promise you that they are ready for tonight and ready to bring the EWC Tag Team Championships back to Paramount and Apple TV+...
Mr. Kavanagh smiles and nods at Bunny…
Kavanagh: That’s fine and great to hear Bunny, I wouldn’t expect anything less from a team YOU manage…you are a superstar that Apple can get behind and promote but THEY aren’t the team I was talking about…
Bunny looks a little confused as she takes another drink…
Love: The 3pAC are ‘my tag team’...
Kavanagh: Miss Love, did you watch Prime #108 last Sunday night…
Love: Of course I did, Aiya was in the Main Event, we were glued to the TV to watch and see if we could pick up on anything…we saw how Callie Clark worked over her arm and you better believe we’ll have a target on that arm tonight…
Kavanagh: Sounds like a strong plan but if you were watching Prime #108 then you saw the return of YOUR team…
Bunny takes a moment and then smiles…
Love: Mr. Kavanagh, with all do respect that wasn’t the ‘return’ of The Southern Express, Prime #108 was in Nashville, Bobby and Jimmy’s hometown, no way they missed a chance to walk out in front of their hometown fans but I can assure you, they are retired…
Kavanagh: Did you hear the reception they received Miss Love?
Love: Yeah, their HOMETOWN fans mark the shit out for them, it wasn’t surprising, Nashville loved Bobby and Jimmy…they could get away with murder in that town and they would look the other way…
Kavanagh: That segment was a huge ratings boost for AMC…
Love: Yeah, well I don’t know what to tell you…we got our start in Prime so it has a special place in their hearts I guess but maybe you should suggest we book a Paramount show in Nashville if this is all about ratings…
Mr. Kavanagh presses his lips together and exhales as he looks at Bunny…
Kavanagh: There was excitement about their return and I shouldn’t have to remind you that Paramount as well as Apple have their exclusive rights…
Love: They are not making a comeback I can assure you of that, Jimmy Lane went under the knife at the start of 2023, he’s got a new hip and knee and Bobby…
Bunny smiles and tried not to laugh at the thought…
Love: Bobby knocked up some Instagram model/influencer because ‘Bobby Rose doesn’t use condoms’...I told him at the very least he should get snipped just incase but he refused, said, ‘nobody is getting near my junk with a knife’...can you imagine being a father at his age…she’s going to have to put Bobby and the baby down for naps each day…
Bunny can’t hold it back any longer and busts out laughing but Mr. Kavanagh isn’t laughing…
Kavanagh: I shouldn’t have to remind you of the revenue The Southern Express brought in for the CW and how popular their show, ‘The Express’ is for Apple TV+, we are still very invested in them and if they were even thinking of a comeback it would of course happen on Apple TV+, while you are upholding the final year of your contract Bobby and Jimmy still have another year remaining on the 3 year deal they signed with Paramount as with the contract they signed with Apple to bring their show to our streaming network we have the right to extend that contract as long as their show appears on our network…
Love: Mr. Kavanagh I can assure you, The Southern Express are done…
Kavanagh: But what if we didn’t want them to be…
Love: Well with all due respect that isn’t your call, it’s Bobby and Jimmy’s and they have tapped out, they are enjoying their golden years…now, I do need to get ‘my team’ ready for tonight and the chance to bring back the tag team championships to Paramount and thus Apple TV+, so if you don’t mind…
Bunny looks at Mr. Kavanagh who holds his ground for a moment before stepping aside and extending his arm allowing her to pass…
Kavanagh: Of course, I’ve taken up enough of your time…best of luck out there tonight Miss. Love…
Bunny walks by Mr. Kavanagh and doesn’t look back as she makes her way to their locker room as the camera zooms in on Mr. Kavanagh who just watches her walk away as he slowly smiles…

SINGLES MATCH
WINNER BECOMES A CONTENDER FOR THE EWC NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
WINNER BECOMES A CONTENDER FOR THE EWC NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Jadyn Keem
VS Sueñe El Molde
Match Writer: EWC Staff Assistant: Em
We return to ringside where the crowd are buzzing over the idea of maybe seeing the Southern Express return to Paramount.
Watson: Did you hear that?!
Sydney: Why on Earth would that suit want to bring back Jimmy and Bobby anyway? Why focus on the past when we've got a bonafide STAR in the making here on Paramount right now?!
Starr: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, from Santa Monica, California and weighing in at 210pounds... JADYN KEEM!
The lights go out.
A spotlight shines down onto the stage as the intro to ‘Top 5’ begins to play throughout the arena before it loudly kicks in, the ExtremeTron reading the words of "NEW ERA" just as the lyrics soon are heard. With the opening lyrics playing out through the P.A. System, the entrance curtain opens up as a figure soon walks through with his head lowered and his arms stretched out wide.
Too many options when I swap
I'm in your top five when I drop
Stop talking to me, wait 'til I pop
Dead or alive, you don't get rot
Dobrev: And the opponent, residing in Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 220 pounds... SUEÑE EL MOLDE!
The lights go down as “Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson begins to play. Blue and purple strobe lights begins to flash through the arena as the song picks up. After awhile the lights shine on the entranceway as Sueñe El Molde steps out onto the stage. He looks around momentarily before slowly making his way down the walkway to the ring, paying no attention to the fans. He slides in under the bottom rope and stalks around the ring.
DING DING DING
Sueñe chops Keem hard across the chest. The sound echoes through the venue. A second one has Keem leaning on the rope to catch his breath. Sueñe slaps Keem across the chest. Sueñe attempts another chop but Keem ducks. Keem attacks Sueñe with right hands before whipping him off the ropes. Sueñe ducks a big boot and chops Keem, yet again, across the chest. Keem drops to the mat where Sueñe makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Keem gets a shoulder off the mat to break the count. Sueñe lifts Keem off the mat and hits a suplex which is quickly followed by a roundhouse kick to the back of the head. Sueñe tries to lift Keem for a powerbomb like move but Keem reverses it into a white noise. Both get to their feet. Keem spins hitting a spinning backfist into a backhand chop to the face. The chop spins Suene. Keem grabs him and lifts Sueñe for a side suplex but, mid move, tosses Sueñe into the air hitting a lungblower. He makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Sueñe gets a shoulder off the mat.
Watson: Close but no cigar there!
Sydney: I wouldn’t even say close. These, for both men, have been early attacks. Warnings. Calm before the storm.
Both get to their feet where Keem takes Sueñe to the mat with a headlock takedown. Keem holds him tight until Sueñe rolls him over to his back.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Keem quickly rolls upright breaking the count. Sueñe tries it a second time but Keem shifts his weight forward. The referee counts.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Sueñe rolls to his side and uses the momentum to roll back to his feet. Sueñe shoves Keem off the ropes. Sueñe tries to leapfrog over Keem but Keem pushes at Suene’s ankles and sends Sueñe spinning and crashing to the mat. Keem rolls Sueñe to his feet and takes him to the mat with a Samoan drop. He makes a cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Sueñe lifts an arm high off the mat to break the count. Both get to their feet where Sueñe runs at Keem hitting a sitout jawbreaker. Keem drops back to the mat. He sits upright as Sueñe runs off the ropes and clatters into Keem with a shining wizard. Sueñe makes a cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Keem raises an arm high of the mat.
Watson: I thought that was it!
Sydney: Only one that didn’t may have been Jadyn Keem. Even then he may have rolled that shoulder on instinct!
Sueñe grabs the raised shoulder and applies an armbar. Keem tries to et to one knee to reduce the pressure. As Keem makes it to one knee, Sueñe stretches an arm and applies a Deep Sleep. Sueñe stands in the middle of the ring with the hold applied. He still holds one arm in a armbar-like hold keeping it out of the way. Sueñe wrenches and wrenches. Keem’s arm goes limp as Sueñe rolls back to the mat. As he rolls, Keem rolls. Keem manages to roll himself free. Both lay on the mat for a moment. Keem gets to his feet and runs at a kneeling Sueñe for a Snake Shot. Sueñe manages to duck it and Keem runs off the ropes. Keem comes back and goes through Sueñe with Ego Death. Keem makes a cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Sueñe rolls himself free and both lay on the mat.
Watson: Both look completely spent in there!
Sydney: With good reason. A kick out like that takes a lot to find the strength to kick out with. That said, a kick out like that will take something out of Jadyn Keem when he sees his opponent kicking out.
Both lean on the other as they make it to their feet. Sueñe hits a right hand. Keem responds with one of his own. A right from Suene, a right from Keem. Sueñe lashes out with another right hand. Keem ducks it and brings Sueñe crashing to the mat with Leaving Heaven. He hooks the leg.

Sueñe just manages to get a shoulder off the mat to break the count. Keem gets to his feet and lifts Sueñe to his feet and up for a suplex. In mid air, Sueñe manages to slide over Keem’s shoulders and drives him to the mat with a Black Haze. Keem rolls to his back where Sueñe makes the cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Keem sits up to break the count but it’s sapped all his energy and he drops back to the mat.
Watson: How? How did he kick out?
Sydney: OK THAT was instinct. No doubt about it!
Sueñe lifts Keem to his feet. Sueñe chops Keem hard across the chest. Keem chops back. Another from Sueñe. Another from Keem. A slap to the face from Sueñe. A slap to the face from Keem. A slap to the chest of Keem looks like it stung as it doubles Keem over. Sueñe underhooks Keem’s arms and lifts him. Keem slides over his shoulder and pulls Sueñe into a Sovereign’s Kiss. Sueñe drops to the mat where Keem lands just next to him... Neither man is moving. Referee Matt Mercer starts the 10 count.

Starr: Ladies and Gentlemen, neither man could answer the ten count, therefore this match is considered a DRAW!!!!
Keem slowly uses the ropes to drag himself to his feet. Molde is pulling himself up in the corner, both men square up like they want to keep fighting.
Watson: That was a fight. That took energy from me just watching it... But what do we do?! Wo is the contender for the North American championship?!
Tim is cut off as "Rusalka" by Hizaki begins to blare throughout Doak S. Campbell stadium. The crowd takes it up a notch as "The Beautiful Battlleship" SONYA makes her way down to the ring.
Watson: Now wait a minute, what is Sonya doing here?!
Sydney: Remember Tim, Sonya pinned the current North American champion recently, she has to be in this conversation about Contendership as well.
Sonya makes her way to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope as she confronts the referee, wanting an explanation. Mercer starts to talk, but quickly Sonya is spun around by Jadyn Keem who starts getting in Sonya's face! Sueñe sees this and immediately gets in the middle of it, trying to prevent a brawl from breaking out. Before anything crazy can happen, the lights inside the stadium go out as the Extreme-Tron lights up, showing the face of General Manager Chris Brock, who looks to be in the middle of getting his ring gear on as he is seen lacing up his boots.

Brock: What's that? We have an issue with the North American title contenders match? This cannot be! So let's see... We have one, two, three people all wanting to know what happens next huh? Well, the way I see it, neither Keem nor Sueñe could answer the 10 count and that means we need to escalate things JUST a bit further to really find out who gets that Contendership spot. ON THE OTHER HAND, we have Sonya here who has a win over the current North American champion. So she has to be considered in Contendership as well.... None of you are the number one contender though.
Brock thinks a moment.
Brock: I Got it! June 7th, Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in the good old D.C of WASHINGTON... YOU Jadyn Keem, YOU Sueñe El Molde... and YOU Sonya... Will battle each other Live on Apple TV +. The Winner becomes the official number one contender to the EWC North American Championship. Triple Threat means no count outs, no DQs.... I want a winner lady and gentlemen.
The Extreme-Tron goes dark as the lights come back on. All three fighters are now in staring each other down in the ring.
Watson: Well that's one way to crack this problem! Triple Threat match just made official for Paramount 32!
Sydney: I do love me some violence in the capital Tim.
Watson: CID! What the hell man. Ladies and Gentlemen, I apologize for my partners remarks there, they were strictly referring to a wrestling match and nothing else, I swear. So if you're listening FBI, please don't raid my home.
Camera cuts to ...

With the capacity crowd inside the stadium eagerly awaiting the next match, the Extreme Tron flickers into life, treating them and us to dramatic footage from the main event of WrestleFest XX:
El Pablo is, perhaps unsurprising, the first figure to move through the toxic miasma of Skittles-tainted smoke, leaving Melody down to bundle Ibuki Ito up into the ring. He rolls end over end, coming to a stop at the feet of Lavender, who briefly locks eyes with her former ally - there's still respect, but a challenge too. And just a note of the sardonic, as she sees what he doesn't; Melody Malone, rising up behind him like the ugliest, bloodiest avenging angel, crimson mask contorted in pure hatred as she lifts in her hands the only unbroken light tube from his own hastily-delivered bundle. There are Skittles rattling around inside.
It's not much comfort to the Technicolor Tecnico, as she places the length of glass in his MOUTH and hauls backwards, dragging him to his knees in front of her, pulling back on the tube until it abruptly shatters, ripping into his lips, coating his mouth and tongue with the bittersweet tang of Skittles and mercury vapor. A rain of cups and concession wrappers rains down on Melody Malone, who's laughing, unhinged, as she jams one end of the shattered tube into her ruined face and RIPS it down across her forehead and cheek, narrowly missing tearing out her own eye in the process. This half of the tube is flung disdainfully into the crowd, as the other is brought down into El Pablo's HEART. It doesn't penetrate deep, but it does stick in his chest, as he falls forward onto it, masked face bouncing off the floor.

The grizzly scene replays a few times, paired with the parting words from the Leader of the Rainbowlution to the Queen of the EWC as delivered in his promo for tonight's extravaganza.
"You tried to take everything from me at WrestleFest… and on May 24th, it'll bring me egg-streme pleasure to be the reason that the shellshocked psyche of Melody Malone finally cracks!"
Finally, we get a live shot of the man himself, standing backstage inside a dimly lit corridor, a steely stare directed right down the camera lens from behind his multicoloured mask.
El Pablo: Yolk's over, Mel.
Viva La Rainbowlution.
With that, Pablo marches past the camera and out of shot, the crowd cheering in support of the Technicolour Tecnico as the Extreme Tron returns to neutral.

Melody Malone
VS El Pablo
Match Writer: EWC Staff Assistant: Em
We return to ringside where the crowd is absolutely on fire for the upcoming bout!
Watson: Tallahassee is all in on El Pablo getting a shot at the Undisputed champion Narumi Tsutsumi!
Sydney: The former X-Division juggernaut has a tall task ahead of him, because standing between him and that shot is one of the best to ever do it and I'll go one better to say the BEST Paramount superstar to have ever graced the EWC. The Queen - Melody Malone!
Starr: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first…
The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish begin to play over the P.A. system.
Bite my tongue bide my time
Wearing a warning sign
Wait till the world is mine
Visions I vandalize
Cold in my kingdom size
Fell for these ocean eyes
As the chorus hits, a bright flash of pyro explodes from the base of the EXT and Melody Malone stands on the stage, flanked by her personal retainer Rory Hyland. Melody stands with a crown atop her head as a spotlight follows them down to the ring.
Starr: Making her way to the ring, accompanied by Rory… she is YOUR QUEEN of EWC... MELODY MALONE!
You should see me in a crown
I'm gonna run this nothing town
Watch me make 'em bow

The lights come back up to full brightness, and Melody has her gloves tugged into place as she rakes her hair back and prepares for her opponent.
Starr: And the opponent, residing in Puebla City, Mexico and weighing in at 180 pounds... EL PABLO!
A cry of “VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!” leads to ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK hitting the soundsystem, as the stage and ringside area becomes bathed in flashing, flickering, brightly-coloured lighting. As the main hook hits, El Pablo bursts through the curtain, playing to the fans and chugging Skittles like a Steveweiser. He charges down the ramp and slides under the ropes into the ring, before running up the turnbuckle and tossing a couple of fistfuls of Skittles out into the adoring crowd. After offering a final salute, he hops back down to the canvas, handing his belt to the referee and performing a few final stretches as his music fades.

Malone lashes out with a superkick that Pablo ducks. Malone cracks him on the jaw with a forearm. Malone knocks him back toward the ropes with right hands before whipping him off the ropes. She fires a superkick at a rebounding Pablo. He blocks it but Pablo does not block a standing dropkick from Malone. She pulls Pablo to his feet and Irish whips him to the corner. Malone runs and handspirings into a moonsault that squashes Pablo into the corner. He staggers out where Malone grabs him and sets him up in a tree of woe. Malone takes a few steps back and runs for a dropkick. Pablo pulls himself up and Malone smacks into the ringpost with force. Pablo leaps crashing down on Malone with a split-legged moonsault. He hooks the leg.

DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pinfall… EL PABLO!
Pablo lays on the mat and tosses a handful of Skittles into the air. The fall on him, around him. His mouth is open to allow some to fall in him. He makes a Skittle angel before rolling to his feet. He looks down at Malone, who's up to a knee with a pained expression on her face. She rises up, the crowd growing quiet in anticipation before the Queen takes a deep breath, squaring her shoulders to the technicolor titan and extending her hand.
Watson: Surely she's playing at something...
Sydney: The Queen can lose with grace, c'mon Watson! Don't be disrespectful.
Watson: She nearly stabbed him in the heart Cid!
Sydney: Water under the bridge!
El Pablo eyes her hand warily, looking out to the crowd as though to gauge their opinion on the situation. A good portion of the crowd is understandably distrustful, but they roar as El Pablo's hand inches out ever so slightly. He hesitates though, hanging back as he tries to sniff out any foul play. Melody, to her credit, is unflinching as she stands there silently with her hand out. El Pablo looks from her to Rory, who's taken a position on the ring apron and is perhaps even more curious about the unfolding events than El Pablo himself. He looks torn, his hand subconsciously reaching for his chest where she nearly impaled him at WrestleFest in their last encounter. Finally, after one last hesitant though, El Pablo reaches out and takes Malone's hand in a sign of respect. The crowd absolutely explodes, Melody leaning in and saying something inaudible to El Pablo before she pats him on the chest and exits, leaving El Pablo in the ring to continue soaking in the crowd's adulation. He throws his hands up again, garnering more cheers before climbing up onto the turnbuckle and pantomiming a championship belt around his waist
Watson: He’s thinking championships and he’s right to do so. This win means El Pablo has earned a shot at the Undisputed Championship, and dare I say it the respect of the former champion!
Sydney: I have to give credit to Melody Malone here. She fought and fought until she couldn’t get back up. In my eyes, she was a step away from victory here. She climbed the turnbuckle looking for Off With Their Head. She hit that, she’d seal the win. She said it before tonight, if El Pablo made it through her she had the confidence that El Pablo could go all the way - and if that's the case Narumi's days as Undisputed champion might be numbered!
Watson: Speaking of Narumi, she and her fellow Shinijoshi member 'The Headhuntress' Aiya are coming up next to defend her other championship - it's a TLC match for the EWC Tag Team championships!
Sydney: Wouldn't you know it? We've got the champions backstage, right now!

We open up backstage where both Narumi and Aiya look less than happy, the latter not even making an effort to hide her feelings. The Headhuntress’s fists are clenched tightly, her knuckles are already very white. Her teeth are gritted … and finally she allows an “Urgh!” to escape before storming forward, getting straight into the poor cameraman’s face in the process.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Alrighty, you little shits! Listen up and listen well, because I’m not repeating yourself. Get your asses a dictionary and look up the word hypocrisy. Where’d your “We’re the faces of the tag division?” go, huh?! You know, the shit you spewed before facing us in that fatal 4 way? More than where it went though, what even fucking gives you the right to dictate how we go about things?!
Aiya moves back, raising her hands and showing papers. After the camera adjusts, we can see it’s both her singles and tag team contract. She flips through the pages … slowly enough that you can read along before angrily placing them down upon the nearest bench.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: There is nothing - fucking nothing - saying how we can go about being in the tag team scene? Secondly … I bet you forgot your predecessor Bobby actually did a few singles bouts himself. As did Xavier … and he’s been champion multiple times. So ya’ll are fine because you’re Bunny’s newest clients?!
Aiya flips the camera off.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: And last, but certainly not least … you’re really gonna use the fucking booking card? One of the few things we can’t control?!
Aiya raises her other middle finger up in protest. Narumi shakes her head and makes a bewildered face.
Narumi: Seriously, I try to be respectful, but people always cross the line questioning my motivates in affairs that either are hypocritical of them to mention or do not concern them at all. You call me out for only wrestling two matches after Stranglemania, which is twice as much as you have, and make a point to say Aiya wrestled three singles to my one to make me sound lazy. But that means she’s wrestled four times as much as you have, and that’s ignoring the fact you two weren’t at Stranglemania so my double booking there and her match make the stats even worse for you. Aiya and I have upped our booking availability for more wrestling dates this season, all to help the tag team division and our singles responsibilities. And then you fall back on the fact you wanted to be booked on Paramount but weren’t to absolve yourselves from your logic, as if you have secret intel that I didn’t want to be on the last Prime? I was perfectly willing to perform, and the fact you even have a title match tonight is because Aiya and I were willing to be here on another brand's PPV for the tag division you want to desperately believe we don't care about despite the fact we always do our best to represent it with all our passion.
Narumi gives a questioning glance at all of the random accusations.
Narumi: I wish if people had questions about what I do around here that they’d just speak to me rather than make up baseless speculation. This also applies to people always sticking their nose in Shinijoshi movements, speaking as if they know what is in the mind of me or any of the members. People run around talking about why or why not I’m teaming with someone, speak as if I control the schedule of other Shinijoshi members holding them back when they aren’t around like I’m some sort of dictator, or all types of lunacy. As for my tag team with Emiko, it has nothing to do with a concern of whether Aiya and I keep the tag team championships. Megumi had initially recruited her into our fold to be our kouhai, and to continue honoring that I’m attempting to give Emi proper guidance as her closest senpai left. Not everything is about championships, even with all the gold I have. I actually like teaming with the rest of the Shinijoshi, they’re my friends, my sisters. I’ve never abandoned ANY of them, and never will, regardless of stories people made up the last few seasons when speaking of things they don’t understand.
Aiya nods towards Narumi.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Alternatively … let’s pretend she was, indeed, looking for a back up or some nonsense. The last thing I’d do is bitch at her for that. Long before I even became a Shinijoshi, my first tag team match was with Saidie … against Dio and Scorpio! We weren’t even an official unit and yet, we took them both to the goddamn limit.
But clearly, you dumbasses didn’t get the memo even I revealed at Prime 106! I said it myself that I had full intentions of becoming a unit with Megumi myself. Her unfortunate retirement just ended up coming first. And Sonya? She wanted to focus on her own singles career, so we agreed to hold off tagging together. But rest assured, Yomi is far from dead. And Emiko? She’s expressed wanting to tag with me, which honestly?
Aiya nods firmly.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: I wouldn’t mind it. She beat the likes of Darna Dare. You don’t do shit like that on a fluke. And given she’s got the same love for hardcore preferences? I’d be happy to sharpen those skills which … speaking of. You two haven’t exactly been very ‘hardcore’ yourselves. So back off trying to pinpoint my own downfalls. I scold myself plenty without your help.
Narumi nods.
Narumi: See? Shinijoshi always know Shinijoshi business, even if you outsiders aren’t privy to it. There’s no secrets among us. When is the last time, if ever, have all Love Club members been in a room together? Perhaps if the Love Club was a tighter faction this concept of members teaming together wouldn’t appear so foreign to you. Perhaps that’s why they don’t even know to call your team the Love Club in the Prime advertisement, since the Love Club is the least connected unit in the EWC. You're all only “together” for loose glory since the people under the Love Club manager’s clientele are successful. Best believe if three official Shinijoshi members were teaming together they’d call us by our faction name, same for the House as apparently even they’re willing to put in the work to appear as a true faction. But we’ll see you there on Prime with Cloud, after fighting to keep our beloved Tag Team Championships tonight.
Aiya rubs her forehead in disgust, letting out a low groan.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: You two idiots are actually making me lament we’re not facing Next Level or Heat Packers. Because … cocky as they are? At least they get their shit straight. I … god … The House is better than you fuck heads will ever be. Goddamnit …. That felt gross to say.
Aiya’s middle fingers remain in the air for a bit longer before vanishing, her hands falling temporarily at her sides. They raise in time to perform the double deuce hand sign with Narumi. The camera fades from the scene backstage, taking us now to Lisa Goldrush and the challengers for tonight's tag team title bout... 3Pac.

Goldrush: You know people laugh at you two, make fun of you both…call you names and discount what you do in that ring but you guys realize that you have only four match under your belt on the main brand…five if you count your Gambit match and tonight you two are challenging for the EWC Tag Team Championships of the World…
Deimos shrugs as he looks at Lisa…
Deimos: What can I say….we are the shit Lisa…
‘Little’ Danny rolls his eyes as he speaks up…
‘Little’ Danny: Or it speaks columns of the state of the EWC Tag Team Division…
Goldrush: You are selling yourself short…look at who you beat so far…you have a win over Damage Inc when they were the tag team champions…you have a win over a EWC Hall of Famer in Ruthless Aggression…you shut up the former tag team champs by backing up that first win by beating Damage Inc one on one…
Deimos: We backed up what we said we were going to do since day one Lisa…people look at us and see idiots, I get that…I’m a fucking podcaster and Danny is still working the counter at Burger King…we have had company after company give up on us and yet here we still are, plugging away in this business…
‘Little’ Danny: The night we won the EWC Tag Team Championship was the greatest night’s of our lives and it was the worst night for the EWC…they didn’t want us as champions and would rather those belts sit at home and collect dust rather than have us on TV…
Deimos: They let our contracts run out and the next day had a company-wide tag team championship tournament to replace us…
‘Little’ Danny: It was a slap in the face and one we have never forgotten…
Deimos: And tonight we have a chance to get the last laugh at the backward ass company by winning the EWC Tag Team Championships over the reigning champions AND the companies Undisputed Champion…
‘Little’ Danny: Do you know how big that would be for us…to beat the ‘top tag team’ and the top superstar the EWC has at the moment…
Lisa nods at the two…
Goldrush: I know the three of you watched Prime #108, you saw how the Main Event went down…
Deimos: Yeah, we watched as Aiya tapped out to Callie Clark…
‘Little’ Danny: But more importantly we watched Callie crank on Aiya’s arm and we for sure are wondering how damaged that arm is at the moment…will she be able to use it properly…
Deimos: Especially after we take a fucking chair to it…or even trap it in a ladder and slam it down on that arm…
Love: It’s the risk she was taking competing for the AMC Broadcast Championship when she knew she had to defend the Tag Team Championships a mere 3 days later…
Deimos: It was stupid, that’s what it was and it show how much those tag team belts mean to her…I would never put myself at risk like that or leave my partner high and dry the way she did to Narumi, Narumi took the Prime off, she wanted to be fresh coming into this ‘away match’...
Lisa looks a bit confused at Deimos…
Goldrush: Away match…
But it’s Danny that speaks up…
‘Little’ Danny: Yeah, they are the ‘away team’...both those ladies are from Prime, this is a Paramount’s Exclusive Pay Per View thus they are playing an ‘away game’ tonight…
Deimos: Not to mention I wonder where their heads are…you heard them, asking if we ‘realize’ that the tag match later tonight is to ‘become a contender’ for the EWC Tag Team Championships...
Deimos rolls his eyes…
Deimos: You don’t fucking say…see I feel like EVERY tag match is a chance to ‘become a contender’ for the EWC Tag Team Championships but here’s the thing, it’s not a case if we ‘realize’ or not…it’s just that we don’t give a fuck…
‘Little’ Danny: We are not worried about what The Lone Wolves and Damage Inc do out there tonight, we are not worried about tomorrow but focused on the NOW…focused on ONLY Bloody Sureiyazu but hey, that’s just us…
Deimos: For us it’s not about the AMC Broadcast Championship or the EWC Undisputed Championship…we aren’t worried about that The Lone Wolves or Damage Inc will do later tonight or El Pablo winning a chance to challenge for the Undisputed Championship…we only care about the EWC Tag Team Championships…
Love: Our opponents have a lot of ‘outside noise’, are involved in countless other matters and that’s fine, it’s their call but it takes away from those Tag Team Championships I helped elevate to the highest of levels…
Deimos: The Southern Express boys might have given the ladies props but that’s just because their ‘southern gentlemen’...
‘Little’ Danny: All Bobby and Jimmy ever cared about was tag team wrestling, so much so they took victory laps when they beat the singles champions when they came calling to challenge the tag team champions…
Deimos: They took pride in beating the Undisputed Champions time and time again, from Ace King to Jordan Sharpe to Stitches…they made a case for being the top stars in the EWC…
‘Little’ Danny: And tonight we get our first chance to knock off our first Undisputed Champion…
Deimos: By climbing up that ladder and taking those tag team championships…now I know Narumi and Aiya recited their resumes, pointing out how they are right at home in the violent matches…but assume that we are what, clueless in them because of our short time here in the EWC…
‘Little’ Danny: I grew up in the Backyard Wrestling Era…I loved the TLC matches and fought in them countless times…
Deimos: And have you watched me, I’m a brawler…I have no formal ‘wrestling training’...I’m a fighter…
‘Little’ Danny: And the last time I checked Aiya has only known disappointment when it comes to the X-Division…it would be like me bragging I’ve been in the ‘tallest man’ competitions and coming up ‘just short’...
Deimos: Yes, we felt cheated about what went down at StrangleMania and how the challenging tag team was decided but tonight we get to right that wrong and back up what we’ve been saying…that we are the team that will elevate the tag team championships and it starts by beating Bloody Sureiyazu here tonight at Uprising…
Love: This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, since I brought this team into the EWC and to Paramount…to bring those Tag Team Championships back to Paramount as an ‘exclusive’ team for the orange brand on Paramount’s BIGGEST NIGHT!!!
Deimos and ‘Little’ Danny nod and flex as the camera fades out.

TAG TEAM SHOWCASE MATCH
TLC MATCH
FOR THE EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
TLC MATCH
FOR THE EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
3Pac
Vs Bloody Sureiyázu
Match Writer: EWC Staff Assistant: Em
We return to ringside where ladders, chairs, and tables have been scattered all about in preparation for the match ahead. An EWC official is in the ring, fastening both of the tag team straps to the ring before it slowly rises into the air.
Watson: The time is here! Our first championship bout on the night!
Sydney: Both of these teams are fired up and ready to come out swinging. Fists, chairs, ladders, it's all fair game tonight!
Starr: The following match is a TLC Match and it is for the EWC World Tag Team Championships. Joining us first, the challengers, weighing in at a combined 400 pounds, Deimos & ‘Little’ Danny... 3PAC!
'My Hero' plays out as Deimos and 'Little' Danny walk out onto the stage holding up crowbars to some cheers. Behind them Bunny Love walks out as the two men drop to a knee and whisper back and forth about their game plan. Bunny taps them on the shoulders and the two mean stand up and they walk towards the ring. When they reach ringside they hand Bunny the crowbars and roll into the ring under the bottom rope.
Starr: And the opponents, Introducing from Shinjuku and Kyoto Japan respectively, weighing at a combined weight of 262 pounds and representing The Shinijoshi, the EWC Tag Team Champions, they are … Narumi Tsutsumi and “Headhuntress” Aiya!... BLOODY SUREIYĀZU !
As ‘Gurenge’ blares over the PA system, both Narumi(in her oni mask) and Aiya emerge from behind the curtains to a pinkish red fog. Aiya chillingly studies the arena with her gaze while Narumi makes spooky ghoulish gestures closely behind her. When Narumi steps up to stand beside Aiya she removes her mask and both women smirk at each other and then towards the ring with ill intent. Aiya saunters forward down the ramp while Narumi hops behind her sticking her tongue out at the camera. Aiya enters the ring through the top and middle rope while Narumi follows sliding under the bottom. Aiya leans against the corner staring forward while Narumi stands up to whisper in her ear as they go over the game plan while waiting.
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings Deimos and Danny dive out of the ring and run for the ladders. They grab a ladder and carry it to the ring. As they lift it to the ring apron, Narumi and Aiya run and dropkick the ladder into Danny and Deimos’ faces. They slide out the ring. Narumi takes the fight to Danny as Aiya pairs up with Deimos. Aiya smacks Deimos at ringside with right hands before he tumbles over. On the other side of the ring, Danny crashes into the barrier. He steps forward but a right from Narumi knocks him back against the barrier. Narumi takes a few steps back and runs at Danny who gets his feet up to block. Narumi staggers as Danny grabs a chair from the timekeeper. Danny swings and smacks the chair into the back of Narumi dropping her to her knees. Another smack drops her to the ringside mats. Danny slides into the ring and slides the chair to Deimos before fetching the ladder. On the other side of the ring, Deimos has the chair. He raises it but Aiya knocks it into his face with a thrust kick. He drops to the mats as Aiya slides into the ring. Danny is halfway up the ladder. Aiya tips the ladder bringing it down on Danny. Aiya flattens the ladder and jumps onto it squishing Danny underneath. He rolls from under the ladder and gets to his feet. Aiya cracks him with forearm smashes before whipping him off the ropes. Aiya spins Danny driving him onto the ladder with a spinebuster.
Watson: My spine hurt looking at that! I’d hate to think what it felt like for Danny!
Sydney: At least ten times worse
Danny slumps from the ring as Aiya sets up the ladder and begins a climb. As she begins to reach the top of the ladder, Deimos smacks her in the back with the chair. She yells in pain but continues her climb. A second smack with the chair and she loses her grip on the ladder and drops to the mat. Deimos drops the chair to the mat and lifts up Aiya and body slamming her onto the chair. Deimos then lifts Aiya a second time. This time he body slams her over the top rope and she drops to the floor outside. Deimos walks to the ladder and begins a climb. He reaches the top. His fingers just brush the bottom of the championships and… Narumi flies from the turnbuckle and dropkicks the ladder. It and Deimos crash to the mat below. Deimos gets to his feet as Narumi crashes into him with a Superman punch. Narumi whips Deimos off the ropes. He ducks a clothesline and takes Narumi to the mat with a DDT. Deimos grabs Narumi and tosses her through the ropes to the ringside floor. Deimos picks up the ladder and begins a climb. As he nears the top, Narumi is back in the ring and she throws a chair at him. It smacks him on the shoulder and he drops to the mat. Narumi lifts Deimos to his feet and drops him onto the chair with a Russian leg sweep. Deimos rolls from the ring. Narumi climbs the ladder. She gets a hand to the championships. As she moves to unhook them, Danny is in the ring. He pushes the ladder and sends Narumi over the top rope and through a table he had set up at ringside.
Watson: OH MY GOD! Narumi just crashed and burned through that table.
Sydney: The championships may be changing hands in the time it takes Danny to climb the ladder.
Danny looks down at Nariumi for a moment before adjusting the ladder and beginning a climb of his own. He grabs at the belts. As he tries to undo them, he accidentally kicks the ladder to the mat. Aiya slides in to the ring with a kendo stick and smacks Danny like a pinata until he falls to the mat. Danny stumbles to his feet but Aiya cracks him in the gut and across the skull with the kendo stick. Knocking him down. Deimos slides into the ring and blasts Aiya with an axe handle. Deimos tosses Aiya into the corner and attacks with chops, punches and a back elbow to the jaw. Deimos whips Aiya off the ropes and takes her to the mat with a back drop. He turns to the ladder and lifts it off the mat to reposition it. Aiya dropkicks it into Deimos’ face. Aiya grabs the kendo stick and smacks the ladder over and over and over again. Danny is on his feet. Aiya runs and clotheslines him over the top rope. Danny manages to land on his feet. Aiya climbs to the top turnbuckle and dives at him with a cross body. Danny catches Aiya in mid air. Danny tries to powerslam Aiya through the commentary table but Aiya counters with a headscissors and Danny crashes through instead.
Watson: HOLY SHIT OUR TABLE JUST IMPLODED!!!
Sydney: Under all this debris lays Danny. Can he get back up to save this match?
Aiya slides into the ring as Deimos is on his feet. Both stare a whole though each other before a hockey fight takes place. Each one attacks the other with rights, lefts and forearms. Deimos gets an advantage when he ducks a chop from Aiya and issues a punch to the gut. Deimos grabs at Aiya and lifts her to a top turnbuckle. Deimos joins her and he attempts a superplex. Aiya blocks. She lifts Deimos for a superplex of her own. The weight becomes a little top heavy and both crash from the turnbuckles to the floor below at ringside. The ring lays empty for a moment as bodies everywhere surround it. Bunny slides into the ring and sets up the ladder. Slowly and nervously Bunny begins a climb. As she reaches the top and her nails brush the bottom of the championships, the eyes of Narumi look back at her from the other side of the ladder. Bunny screams in fear and leaps from the ladder. Narumi takes one more rung and reaches for the championships.
Danny grabs Narumi’s ankle. He grabs at both ankles. He pulls Narumi away from the ladder and drops her to the mat with a flapjack. Both get to their feet but Danny backs Narumi to the corner with right hands. Narumi ducks one and back drops Danny over the top rope. He lands on the ring apron where he smacks Narumi with a clothesline and drops her to a seated position on the mat. Deimos slowly slides into the ring. Both grab an arm of Narumi each and crack her with In Your Face. Narumi drops to the mat as Danny and Deimos scale a side of the ladder each. As they near the top, Aiya slides into the ring. She runs off the ropes and throws herself at the ladder toppling it over. The ladder falls against the top rope sending Deimos and Danny crashing to the mat. Danny rolls from the ring as Aiya helps Narumi to her feet. Aiya points out Deimos and there is No Fighting Back for him as the pummel him with elbows, kicks and palm strikes. Narumi sets up the ladder and Aiya begins a climb. As she nears the top, Danny rolls into the ring with a chair. He smacks Narumi across the back with it. Danny climbs three rungs of the ladder and dives at Aiya bringing her to the mat with a spear.
Watson: Everybody down!
Starr: Whoever gets to their feet first may have an advantage in this one. For that matter whoever gets up first my be the only one that gets up!
Narumi pulls herself to her feet. She clutches at her back where the chair struck as she climbs the ladder. Danny and Deimos slowly get to their feet. Narumi grabs at the championships as Danny pulls the ladder away from under her. Deimos and Danny try to pull and swing Narumi from the championships. Eventually she loses her grip and falls into a PAC Drop. As they turn their attentions to the ladder, Aiya smacks Danny in the gut with a chair and smacks him in the back sending him over the top rope to the floor. Aiya climbs one side of the ladder. Deimos climbs the other. Both punch at the other trying to knock them from the ladder. Both hang on. A hand reaches up and grabs a championship from the rung. Deimos brings the championship down and, intentionally or not, clatters Aiya with it knocking her to the mat.
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winners and NEW EWC World Tag Team Champions... 3PAC!
Bunny and Danny slide into the ring. Bunny stands between Danny and Deimos as they hold up their championships.
Watson: And we have NEW Tag Team Champions here at Uprising! Record books and word documents are being updated with this one!
Sydney: Narumi Tsutsumi and “Headhuntress” Aiya may no longer be the champions but they came a fingertip from victory here tonight. They gave it all they had here and went down fighting.
Watson: Things just got very interesting for our tag match later tonight, as the Lone Wolves and Damage Inc will need to keep this title change off their mind and focus on their matchup later on.
Sydney: But up next, Paramount, it's time to see our GM Chris Brock in action for the first time in... well, a while! Its Brock versus Flip - Paramount versus Brawl! And it's next!

We cut backstage, the EXT firing up and the crowd gets loud. Lisa Goldrush is ready, microphone in hand, but next to her is King Flip and the arena does not want to hear what he has to say. Chants of "Shut the fuck up" and a slower "Chris is gonna kill you" both gain momentum. Flip just smirks and nods as Lisa, momentarily shaken, takes her cue.
Lisa Goldrush: Gooooood evening, Paramount! I'm here backstage with the man who will be fighting our General Manager later and, well, obviously the people--
Lisa flinches at Flips sudden movement, but he slowly clasps the microphone and takes it from Miss Goldrush. Fans continue negative chants and booing as King now waves Lisa off. She looks like she's going to leave. She quickly turns back to Flip, something to say.
The Mad King: I will fucking strike you, woman. I am not in the mood.
Lisa is completely taken aback but quickly storms away. The fans aren't having it either.
"AAAAAAAAAASSSHOOOOOOOOLE..."
The arena erupts in chant. Flip relishes in it, causing further jeers simply by placing a cupped hand to his janky right ear. He flicks his finger about the missing bit as if that makes a difference. With enough hot dogging aside he lifts the microphone and lowers his free hand.
The Mad King: Ladies and gentlemen, The Mad King is still in a tremendous amount of pain.
The fans cheers and Flip takes that personally for a moment. He points to the camera.
The Mad King: Well, let us hope you cheer Christopher Brock's pain as well, hm? Because while I am obviously nowhere near a regular fucking doctor's medical clearance, here I stand a man of my word willing and able to compete. Brocks gonna focus on the back like a good boy, he's a smart man, and I'd be remiss to take that away from him. A capable warrior always understands another capable warrior when he sees one. And Goddamn it he's got a roster full of em, too.
The fans cheer but it's for Paramount. Flip rolls his eyes.
The Mad King: MY PROBLEM... is with his lack of respect, you see. He denies involvement in the X-Division title match but everything about Christopher Brock breathes that slime. And there's many things The Mad King will deal with... a fuckin liar ain't one of 'em. And a lie I have proven, come here.
Flip draws the camera nearer as fans once again hate his guts. He smiles and nods.
The Mad King: We learned the type of woman Tanja Devereaux is. A frighteningly calculated woman and one that, after Stranglemania my friend, Jesus Christ. The suffering we put each other through for that was immeasurable. There's only so many fuckin Ruth's in a generation ladies and gentlemen. That is your Ruth. So when The MAD KING SAYS... that he understands this woman, know he comes from a place of earnest. A place of truth, Christopher Clown, keep up. And YOU wanna TELL ME that she came to you, this manically precise woman, and said to you afterward? FUCKING AFTERWARD!? Watch. Your. Mouth.
He spews the last three words through gritted teeth. Seething a moment, he shoves back off the camera and takes a deep breath. The arena has gone silent.
The Mad King: You have no idea how much I'd rather just be wrong here. I do not want to hate you. But this has not been resolved. Obviously. So you and I, tonight, live in front of, oh what do you pull right now... twenty thousand? Shuuut uuuup I obviously don't caaaaare.
Flip gets caught up in the moment, immediately reacting to the heavy jeers slung his way.
The Mad King: I'm being serious, man. I'm willing to shake your hand at the end of this match, brother, but there are TWO caveats. You go out there and you prove me wrong not with words but with action. You stand as proud as you are behind your brand and I will... excuse this transgression. A gentleman's handshake is important, of course. It is with this I stress to you this fights importance to me, Chris. Please don't... misunderstand me.
He chuckles, shaking his head.
The Mad King: Just... if it were me? And I wanted a woman, like that, to make a big impact on my brand immediately? Come on, man. I would've made the same play. Every time. Who gives a shit about the red brand anyways? Not you! No, you made that PREFECTLY FUCKING CLEAR THE LAST TIME WE SPOKE. AND MY FRIEND THAT IS THE SECOND FUCKING CAVEAT!!
Flip fires off and the arena starts a "Pa-ra-MOUNT" chant just to rile him up further. They enjoy pissing him off but King Flip is not having a good time.
The Mad King: We cannot abide this disrespect. By the end of tonight, God willing, you will FUCKING UNDERSTAND the red brand. The Mad King will GLADLY fucking show you what it means to work Monday nights. Without qualms. Every Goddamn time. And twice you fired off in your little office, taunting me to punch you in your mouth. I saw it in your eyes when I came around the other side of that desk. You're an incredible businessman. A fighter. But Christopher Brock you are no better than Timothy Kahrs.
King Flip bellows the following from thr very top of his lungs as he leans in and lunges forward at the camera.
The Mad King: YOU FFFFUCKING MARK!!
Flip takes a moment to breathe after the outburst, Paramount fans everywhere booing this man.
The Mad King: You carry yourself like a Danny Mac, Christopher, but The Mad King sees you. We are keen to your kind. Hell, we took Timothy's mask from him ourselves. Not once did he approach us backstage. We know him. And thereby slime recognizes slime and we notice you tonight like motherfucking Senpai. You will NOT. You, Grizzly, Jordys saggy tit ass, NONE OF YOU will disrespect Jim Connors. I. Will FUCKING. STRIKE YOU.
King points toward as he remains fuming at the camera.
The Mad King: If I can be serious for a minute... I only mean to say one thing and I mean it. Don't you ever lie to me again. For the pain you go through tonight only grows in intensity later. Trust me on that one, buddy. We'll see you out there.
He thumbs toward his back at with a smile and walks away, the EXT finally cutting off.

We return to ringside where Starr proudly stands ready to call the next bout, but at the booth Watson has finally seen enough.
Watson: Seriously? Folks, right now I'm going to get a little passionate with you.
Sydney: Oh, my.
Watson: Now this is serious, Cid, but that's the exactly the type of antic I'm about to get into. Ladies and gentlemen, King Flip versus Chris Brock is more than some gimme fight one way or the other. It's more than some filler, fluff piece because King Flip wants to be on EVERY PPV because -- well I'll get into that later -- but just know that what you are about to witness isn't going to be just another example of why Chris Brock is Paramount. It isn't going to be about whatever the heck "The Great Game" is either.
Sydney: Oh you're seriously serious about being serious right now.
Watson: Would you stop it for just a second, Syd? Please? King Flip has been gallivanting around every show this season. He put in a hit style attack on Draco Lazarus by way of The House. He's been kicked off of Rampage entirely for continuously picking fights with Rampage superstar Mercenary. Not to mention the back and forth with Moxie but I'm not talking about this man's wild day planner. I mean the disgusting things he's done. Sure, maybe hitting a stinky face for the memes on Samantha Hamilton is funny but how do you think that made her feel, that night, on Rampage? Or how about Aiya's buttocks getting stapled during a hardcore match? And I haven't even gotten to the Paramounters yet. Kyle Gautier was once upon a time an orange superstar until he got booked in a triple threat opener on Paramount against Candy and this disgusting man. He took Gautier out for almost a year. On Paramount! THEN... some time later, this same man--
Sydney: Damn it, I didn't bring my popcorn.
Watson: --has a contest against former North American and newly-named Apple TV+ Broadcast champion in David Miller, Falls Count Anywhere on a Monday night. And would you believe it? For nothing more than whatever his message is supposed to be, last year he ended David Miller's career as we know it by dropping Jim Connor's desk on Miller's shoulders. We still haven't heard any confident word on whether or not the Paramount legend may ever step foot in a squared circle, what his life is looking life right now, but as always know David that Extreme Wrestling will always be your home and men like Chris Brock will fight for you.
Sydney: Oh finally. Good now we're at least talking about Chris.
Watson: Oh no, Syd, we're only just getting started.
Sydney: You shit in my salad, Tim. Look at Starr tellin' you to hurry up.
Starr remains awkwardly standing there, looking a little nervous, as commentary continues.
Watson: Mad King Whatever here decided to continue his tirade of vengeance and animosity. Personal, personal attacks against Shinijoshi, against the Sharpe family, against Mercenary's mom I mean come on! And I still haven't even gotten to StrangleMania yet! OR Hardcore Revolution, I mean, are you kidding me, Sydney? Did you think I wasn't going to get a little passionate because you're going to make some brown nose joke about it? I hope Chris Brock -- who, I don't need to mention has many matches under his belt himself, so no slouch whatsoever -- I hope Chris just absolutely clobbers King Flip here. For Marcus, for David, and for Kyle. For PARAMOUNT I hope King Flip gets his well deserved, golden-plattern just desserts here ladies and gentlemen and I reFUSE to apologize for it. Take it a way, Starr.
Starr: The following match is Kendo Stick on a POOOOOOOLE! Joining us f--
Chanel: I'm sorry, honey. Did you forget?
Watson: THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I--
Sound cuts from Watson's head set and you can eventually hear him tear it off and storm away. Meanwhile, Chanel has emerged from the curtain dressed and waving like a miss universe contestant. She continues on unknowing of the situation hundreds of feet away from her. She smiles wide as she waves to the heavy jeers as if they're cheers.
Chanel: Ladies and gentlemen... accompanied to the ring by all'uh this.
She pops her dress to one side for the marks. They're still booing.
Chanel: HAILING... from The Land. WEIGHING... in at a lean 220. He is... The Benchmark of Brawl... THE MAD KING... HE IS "UNTOUCHABLE" KIIIIIIIING FLIP!!
T H E M A D K I N G soars right to left across the fired up EXT. Massive red pyros follow, thundering about from the turnbuckles big enough to make Starr get out of there. They too line the EXT in a glorious red splash of color. 'HEIMDALLR' by Munknörr blares through the public announcement system as, head low, emerges from the curtain one King Flip. A new, heavily furred burgundy vest now adorning his body. He grins at the ring with a glare through his eyebrows. King strides forth toward it completely ignoring the cacophony of negativity coming from Tallahassee. Flip hit the bottom of the ramp and rounds toward the steel steps much the same as he usually would when something in the audience, something he maybe only even noticed for a second, makes him pause at the ring post. He goes flush for a moment. The color of his skin fades ever slightly until Chanel pounds the ring apron beneath him. Flip snaps out of it and goes back to climbing to the second turnbuckle. Bellowing forth with a war call to the heavens themselves, Flip rages out a laughing scream with his arms outstretched, tongue out, and head looking to the top of the arena. Chanel confidently paces her side of the ring, seemingly going over something in her head, when she sees it too. Only she can focus on it as Flip does a roll into the center of the ring after a jump over the turnbuckle and ropes.
Starr: AND HIS OPPONENT! Making his way to the ring, from Daly City, California by way of West Palm Beach, Florida... Weighing in at Two Hundred and Sixty Five pounds.... He is the General Manager of Paramount Wrestling... CHHHHRRRRRRRISS! BRRRRRRRRROCK!!!!
Smoke fills the stage as the orchestral opening to "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor starts to play throughout the arena. Green lasers cut through the fog as the chorus hits and as Chris Brock walks out through the smoke, head down and arms by his side. As the lights start to brighten, Brock raises his arms over his head, which is still down, to form an "X" as pyro starts to explode around the stage.
This is 10 percent Luck
20 percent skill
15 percent concentrated power of will
5 percent pleasure
50 percent pain
and 100 percent reason to Remember The Name!
DING DING DING
Flip is clobbering Chris in the corner with strikes to the lower back. Brock fires back with a boot to the mouth and Flip is stumbling back, hand on his jaw. Just as King comes back for more it's Chris Brock off the turnbuckle taking him HARD to the mat with a discus clothesline. Chris Brock fires up from a thunderous crowd. CRACK! He shuffles in his boots, as does the referee in theirs as Buddy Love shocks the world out of nowhere with a NASTY steel chair to the face of Chanel.
Buddy Love: YOU DON'T EVEN FUDGING GO HERE, MISSY!!!
Watson: Now that's a funny callback, Syd. Chanel attacked Buddy Love with a steel chair at Hardcore Revolution for almost no reason at all other than to yell some line from some stupid movie. But NOW it's Buddy Love with his own twist and... wow Chanel does not look great there.
Chris Brock looks down with dread in his eye as Chanel is opened up in a bad way. Buddy Love, message sent, tosses the chair on top of her while sarcastically wiping his hands and walking away. The hooded man in the crowd, now withdrawn back to their seat, pulls down on their hood as Chris Brock surveys the whole scene. Giving King Flip a second is a bad idea and giving him a moment turns the tide when Chris Brock turns around. STIFF chop keeps Chris on the ropes and, though jeered, still gets the reactionary 'woo' as the action continues. Another stiff chop and another 'woo' before Flip whips Chris into the ropes opposite them all. Medical personnel are coming down now, which brings Flip's attention outside the ring, and he just snaps.
Watson: Oh goodness gracious, here we go.
Sydney: King Flip has never reacted well to people putting their hands on his step-sister. Half-sister? I can never re--
Watson: OH MY GAAAAAAWD!!!
Flip roars with rage at a shocked and incoming Chris Brock before money tossing him into the sky. He lands into the medical personnel standing around as even more have pulled down a stretcher, neck brace, and other intensive care equipment ringside with Chanel.
Watson: CHRIS BROCK FLYING INTO HIS EMPLOYEES!! BUDDY LOVE POSSIBLY ENDING CHANEL!!! THIS IS UPRISIIIIIING!
Sydney: Definitely a strange and cruel turn of events here folks. Flip, obviously and rightly furious Buddy Love got involved, tosses Chris Brock over the ropes into several unsuspecting people doing Lord knows what to, like, five people by my head count at least. Chanel was ringside, distracted, freaking out about what I'm still not really sure, we don't have the best angle at the other side of the ring like that, but... damn. That chair shot.
Watson: We'll show it again here, folks. From the looks of it Chanel might not be able to make it to Monday night when Flip returns without his little championship.
A small picture-in-picture slow-mo replays the chair shot as King Flip continues hotdogging in the ring with rage. He storms about the ring like a Bushwhacker before slipping through the ropes at a somewhat vertical Chris Brock. Suicide dive takes everybody clean out again and King Flip is POUNDING mean right fists into Chris Brock's face. First become forearms but eventually a heaving, angry King Flip slows. His eyes well as he turns to his manager, shuffling over on his hands and knees as they carefully place her on the stretcher. He watches, pained, as the stretcher is placed on the little wheely bed which is then lifted to a comfortable height. They're just about to push her out when Flip stops them a moment. He leans in and says something to her, boops her snoot, then turns into a HARSH basement dropkick to the stomach by a wobbly Chris Brock.
Sydney: And that's the second time, third time? Who cares anymore. Once again King Flip isn't even given a breath. The camera's always rolling at Extreme Wrestling.
Watson: What are you talking about?
Sydney: Well, WATSON, one of the people you put in your little tirade? Shinijoshi? Yeah, well, Aiya caught Flip in a moment. He was also afraid for his sister, Lord forbid, and once again because it's a wrestling match the 'face' gets the big pop because they catch him with a pop to the midsection? It's all tit-for-tat here, sure, but you at least have to see some of where King Flip is coming from here, too.
Watson: Well, I--
Sydney: Let's just call the match.
Tallahassee absolutely appreciates as Chris Brock continues the pressure. He does stop for a second, allowing Chanel a nod as she is rolled out, but it's all business as Brock tries to keep Flip planted on the thinly-padded concrete with boot after boot. Brock has Flip in pain and reeling from the damage as he lies tucked between padding and the bottom of the guardrails. With Paramount fans everywhere behind him Chris Brock pipes up in a charged yell.
Chris Brock: For Marcu$, I am Chris Brock, and THIS is PARAMOUNT!
Flip fires with the malice of a thousand suns, his eyes flashing open before he just barely catches what would've otherwise been a very tough boot to King there. Instead Chris Brock is thrust back first into the guardrail as Tallahassee does not appreciate. King fumbles about, pushing, needing to get to his feet and up the rampway to say something once again to Chanel. The camera cuts angles and you can see Chanel muster something out of her mouth. The pain washes away and Flip angrily walks straight to the ring. Chris Brock, pulling himself across the ring apron, has himself up the steel steps and about to ascend the turnbuckle holding the kendo stick in place. King Flip slides into the ring and watches on with a half smirk and squinted eyes. Chris climbs the second turnbuckle as Flip now sees the hooded man once again standing. And once again the color leaves Flip's face. Chris gets to the top turnbuckle and fans cheer as he triumphantly holds the kendo stick up high. Meanwhile, Flip has slowly approached the ropes and is now smiling and laughing when the hood finally comes off to reveal a very angry David Miller. Paramount appreciates with an ovation, Chris Brock is even caught up for a second and he coughs out a loving chuckle. Flip breaks the moment with a shake of the top rope. Brock bounces by the bits before crashing to the thinly-padded concrete outside. King's attention, never having wavered from Miller, shoots away as he fires his left forefinger into the sky and runs out of the side of the ring. He snags Starr's mic from her, Tallahassee not appreciating, and quickly makes his way over to Miller with glee in his eyes.
Watson: HOLY SHIT!! It's David Miller!!!!!! We were JUST talking about him. Speak his name and he shall appear apparently!
Sydney: You've gotta' wonder what Chanel said up the rampway there but damn is if exciting to see the former North American champion.
Chris recovers with heaves in the seated position, tucked between the steel steps and ring apron as King Flip, like an absolute smark fan, eggs the still very serious business stature of an arm-slung David Miller. Flip has the microphone just close enough and all the fans cheer for it, too. David rolls his eyes before leaning in a little mockingly toward Flip. King nods and nods with a huge smile and David Miller finally says it.
David Miller: Next.
King matches Tallahassee's appreciation... until David Miller cleans him out with a STIFF clothesline from the other side of the guardrail to an even bigger pop. Even the small smile of the recovering Chris Brock washes away as Miller's ire turns immediately and directly toward him. Miller has some inaudible by camera things to say to Chris Brock before he ultimately turns around, pulls his hood back up, and pockets his free hand while making his own exit from the arena. Brock looks up at the man as they continue leaving. He says something to himself while making a play for the kendo stick. He lifts it up and it may be the end for King Flip as Chris Brock winds up like a baseballer. BEAUTIFUL DISASTERPIECE! Just as Chris Brock makes his swing, Tallahassee ready to appreciate, its all King Flip as he connects with his tag partner's THUNDEROUS signature bicycle kick.
Watson: OHMYGOOODNESSSS!!
Sydney: Flip cleaning out Chris' clock with that beautiful kick to the dome. Sorry boss, gotta' call 'em like I see 'em, and I think King Flip may have the match right here with that one pop. Wait, why is he picking up the microphone? He's... he's kicking the stick to Chris? What the...?
Watson: When Chris Brock comes to, here, he'll be just as confused as everybody in the arena right now. Meanwhile, it looks like King Flip's got something to say. Take it away, I guess? I don't really--
The Mad King" Great people... The Mad King begs your pardon but you, Brother David. You stop right there now because The Mad King thinks you should appreciate this.
Miller, who has just reached the final precipice to leaving sight of the arena altogether, had been paused there a moment to appreciate the construction. At his mention he slowly turns around with an inquisitive eye. He once again lowers his hood and once again Tallahassee appreciates. Flip gives a nod of respect up to David accompanied with a thumbs up.
The Mad King: Y'know, Dave, I... you know we didn't mean to hurt you. Not me. And not you. Same goes for Marcus...
Flip gives a nod to Chris as they have gotten to one knee, gritting teeth as they clench the kendo stick. Flip looks back up to David to say one final thing.
The Mad King: For you, David. For Chanel. For "The Great Game" without an eye on Christopher Brock I say even to him. Thank you, sir. May I have another?
Chris Brock winds up as Flip just extends their arms out, head up, as if lying on a cross. David peers down to relish the moment in his own way. THHHHWAAAACK! THE KENDO STICK SHATTERS ACROSS THE MAD KING'S BACK!! REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL!!!
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner.... CHRIS BROCK!!
Brock stands there for a moment, the splintered remains of the kendo stick in his hands, breathing heavy. He looks around at carnage in the aftermath of the match and drops the remains of the stick.
Watson: Well this is certainly a side of Chris Brock that the EWC has not seen before, but one thing is for certain... There were some demons exercised in that ring there this evening, from both Brock and Flip.
Sydney: Dare I say that Flip might have seen that his action had consequences here and chose to serve a penance?
Flip is back to his feet now and staring daggers into his opponents eyes for a brief moment before he looks down to see that Chris Brock has extended his hand to The Mad King. Flips eyes go wide for a brief moment before slowly extends his hand out. The two men that just obliterated each other end this fiasco with a simple, yet intense hand shake.
Watson: That is something that I don't think any of us expected to see here tonight! What more could we even possibly see as Uprising continues?!
Camera cuts to a brief commercial on the ExtremeTron as the ring crew gets ready to clean up the mess and prepare for the Lights Out Lion's Den.

A low, brooding guitar plays underneath footage of a 2023 GMC Sierra driving through several long, empty hallways. EWC's sexiest, hottest Cowboy of 2023, JoJo Rush narrated the TV ad.
JoJo: Have you ever wrestled a fully grown gator out of the water with nothin' but yer bear hands? Did you ever punch a Police Officer right in the face just to see what would happen? That's what it feels like to drive a GMC Sierra.
The truck drives into focus and JoJo steps out of the truck, covered in blood that isn't entirely his own and says straight into the camera. Sirens blaring in the distance.
JoJo: GMC Sierra. Power like a pro.

LIGHTS OUT LION'S DEN MATCH
FOR THE APPLE TV + BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
FOR THE APPLE TV + BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Tanja Devereaux
VS Sally Talfourd
Match Writer: EWC Staff Assistant: Em
We return to ringside where officials are giving the Lion's Den a final once over before the next bout.
Watson: Just when you think we've seen it all tonight.. a Queen humbled, enemies finding respect for each other, new tag team champions... and now the Lights Out Lion's Den!
Sydney: We've been saying it for years, Paramount is setting the standard! Tonight is just another first for the orange brand, but there are no firsts between Tanja and Sally.
Starr: The following match is Lights Out Lion’s Den Match and it is for the Apple TV+ Broadcast Championship!
I'm not the one who's so far away
When I feel the snakebite enter my veins
Never did I wanna be here again
And I don't remember why I came
Pyros hit as Videos of bustling crowds of New Orleans appear on the tron as the dark and melodic tones of "Voodoo" by Godsmack blasts. Tanja comes out onto the top of the ramp in a style compared to Gail Kim during her early time in TNA before heading down the ramp with Celeste St. Laurent coming behind her to the ring as Tanja's black leather coat flows at her feet while the boos from the crowd fills the arena. She hisses at those at ringside while coming down to the Lion’s Den.
Candles raise my desire
Why I'm so far away
No more meaning to my life
No more reason to stay
Voodoo, Voodoo
Voodoo, Voodoo
Voodoo, Voodoo
Voodoo, Voodoo
(Voodoo, voodoo) So far away
I'm not the one who's so far away (voodoo, voodoo)
I'm not the one who's so far away (voodoo, voodoo)
I'm not the one who's so far away
Tanja walk up towards the Lion’s Den and enters via the door and jumps to the top level. She poses as she does her usual taunt with a hand and arm in the air as "Daughters of Darkness" continues to play. Tanja steps off the level as she removes the leather coat and throws it to the referee as "Voodoo" fades.
As the buzz of the crowd falls as the lights fade down and everyone finds themselves in darkness. After a moment of nothing, there's the crackling of an old recording, and then a voice:
"Ladies and Gentlemen!"
"Your act at this time!"
The Extreme-tron begin to flicker to life with an old reel of film showing various clips of magicians performing, shots of crowds smiling and laughing, point and wondering. All, of course, in silence.
"Sights of wonder and amazement!"
"A spectacle that will confound and amuse your mind!"
The Extreme-tron continues to flicker with the images of an era bygone. The final clip comes to focus on a figure standing alone on a stage, the back to the Extreme-tron, obscured by the shadows.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!"
"The Last Magician!"
There's a pause, and then the beginning of ‘Troublemaker’ by Troublemaker comes across the PA, the whistling first cutting through the silence then drowned out by the fans’ cheers. The Extreme-tron still shows the silhouette of a lone person standing in the shadows.
Then, mirroring that shot, a sole spotlight fades in at the top of the ramp, and we find 'The Last Magician' Sally Talfourd with her back to the arena. The crowd gets louder and then, as the music kicks in, Sally turns to face the crowd, her arms outstretched and her head bowed to everyone.
Starr: Ladies and gentlemen, she is the Apple TV+ Broadcast Champion, 'The Last Magician’… SALLY TALFOURD!
Sally lowers her arms, raises her head, and makes her way down the ramp. Fans rush to the railings. She makes a direct line to the Lion’s Den, pulling herself up to the top level, looks around to the fans before she steps over the barrier. Sally walks around the level with a raised fist before jumping to the centre of the Lion’s Den, and with a flurry and a twirl unwraps her hanbok, handing it up to the crew and then takes up position in her side of the Lion’s Den, stretching her legs on the cage wall and readying herself for the match.
DING DING DING
Tanja runs up the cage walls and throws herself at Sally with a flying clothesline. Tanja unloads with right hands before picking Sally up and bodyslamming her into the cage wall. Sally boots Tanja in the gut and kicks off the cage hitting a legdrop to the back of Tanja’s neck. Sally climbs the cage and throws herself at Tanja with a cross body. She hooks the leg.

Just when all seems lost, Tanja smacks Sally in the ribs with back elbows until the hold is broken. Both lay on the mat.
Watson: Those elbows looked like they hurt because Tanja Devereaux needed them to hurt Sally Talfourd!
Sydney: If she hadn’t this match could have been over. You can’t rely on a rope break when there are no ropes. So what do you do?
Sally is first on her feet. She drags Tanja to her feet and whips her into the cage. Tanja springs back right into a spinning heel kick by Sally. Tanja slowly gets to her feet as Sally charges at her hitting Lights Out. She makes a cover.

DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pinfall and STILL Apple TV+ Broadcast Champion... SALLY TALFOURD!
The door of the cage opens and Sally almost falls through the door where she is handed her championship. She falls back against the cage’s outer wall and holds her championship high in the air.
Watson: After a hell of a fight here at Uprising, Sally Talfourd extends her championship reign with a victory over Tanja Devereaux. What a hell of a match we just witnessed! Tanja Devereaux damn near even kicked out at the end, but was a FRACTION of a second too late! You have to give the voodoo queen credit, she learned from her past encounter with The Last Magician here.
Sydney: A hell of a match that would have had a different winner had Tanja Devereaux connected with Voodoo! Talfourd knew that and that’s why she scrambled for the cage! No matter what though, the fans won here tonight. What a hell of a match from these two women!
Watson: We're gonna go from magic to mayhem, as coming up next its Damage Inc taking on the Lone Wolves!
Sydney: Our third and final tag team bout tonight, you don't wanna miss this!
The camera cuts to a video package playing for tonight's main event between Ibuki Ito and the North American champion Salvation on the Extreme-Tron as the ring crew works to dismantle the Lion's Den.

Sydney: Tim, you couldn't pay me to join the Lone Wolves tonight. Just thinking about what might happen in that ring creeps me out.

The two men are wearing full face masks that look like skulls. Each skull face is partially covered by a bandanna, outlaw style. The two men flank Lacey and they all come to stand in the center of the stage.

Removing their masks the group marches in lock step down the ramp to the ring in the shadow of Bedlam Briggs, Lacey's personal security. Once between the ropes both Malice and Mayhem huddle up to go over their final game plan, each member sizing up their opponents and getting ready for a war. DING DING DING
Starr: And your winners, via pinfall... DAMAGE INCORPORATED!
Lacey Savage gets into the ring and stands between Mayhem and Malice in the middle of the ring. Both make championship motions around their waists before they all head out of the ring and up the ramp.
Watson: A hell of a match that ends in Damage Incorporated picking up the victory tonight at Uprising! You see those championship motions, this win puts them right in contention for the EWC World Tag Team Championships! And we know now that it will be 3PAC holding those titles when that match takes place!
Sydney: The Lone Wolves lost here tonight but they gave it everything. I believe they were a dropkick from victory here tonight. Who knows, maybe someday down the line we can run this match back for the titles.
Watson: We're getting to the finish line Paramount, our main event is next. Ibuki Ito... Salvation... for the EWC North American championship!
Sydney: Someone better be running to Home Depot, I don't know if we have any ladders left after the Team Team championship match!

The camera cuts backstage inside Doak Campbell Stadium where we find Paramount’s own Lisa Goldrush.
Goldrush: Tonight have been an incredible show thus far for our home brand of Paramount and we are moments away from tonight’s Main Event as Salvation is set to defend the North American Championship for the first time since winning it at StrangleMania against my guest at this time, the former Undisputed Champion…alongside his manager, ‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love, please help me welcome IBUKI ITO!!!
There is a big pop out inside the stadium as Buddy and Ibuki step onto screen next to Lisa Goldrush. Buddy straightens his bowtie and tries to look sharp as Ibuki has a look of focus and determination on his face.
Goldrush: Tonight, for the first time here in Paramount, Ibuki challenges for our brand’s top championship, the North American Championship, and many felt like this was long overdue…
But before Lisa can finish Buddy covers up the microphone stopping Lisa mid sentence and smiles…he pulls the mic a little closer to him.
Love: Miss Goldrush, while we are flattered that you or anyone holds that opinion on Ibuki it’s not like Paramount has been holding us back and down…we knew Paramount was in good hands with the past champions and it allowed us to expand our interests outside the walls of Paramount…to the X-Division Champions, twice capturing that championship for FSW and then Paramount…it allowed us to become one of the winners of the 2021 Rumble winners and go onto WrestleFest and become the Undisputed Championship…it allowed us to fight Ace King to a draw last year at StrangleMania and beat him this year…it allowed us to defend that Undisputed Championship against Asriel Buzzard last year right here at Uprising…people like David Miller, Jordan Sharpe, James Keaton, Robbie Rayder and Marcu$ $t. John elevated Paramount as champions and kept us at a high level here in the EWC as an elite brand but alas they are no more…some have left, while others are on paternity leave…others have become GM’s and in Marcu$’s case is injured and on the DL…we understand in a perfect world it would be Marcu$ standing here, cashing in his rematch clause to face Salvation after his 306 days as champion and 1 successful defense of that championship but King Flip took that chance away from him so…his misfortune is our opportunity…nobody can argue that Ibuki doesn’t deserve this chance, he’s been a pillar of Paramount since Day 1, he’s a OG when it comes to this brand and Mr. Brock knows it’s time…it’s time to put Ibuki Ito in the North American title picture and we will not disappoint…
Buddy looks at Ibuki and pushes Lisa’s hand, which is still holding the microphone, closer to Ibuki…
Ito: It has been 44 days since StrangleMania, since Salvation slammed Marcu$’s head in that door, picked him up, tossed him in that truck and slammed the trunk lid, ending his reign as North American Champion and ushing in his own reign of…
Love: Mediocrity…
Ibuki looks at Buddy who tilts his head and shrugs his shoulders as if to say, ‘well’...
Ito: I’d be lying if I tried to pretend his reign has been historic or even eventful…we have only seen him in the ring once since winning that championship and it was in a losing effort…now there is no shame in losing, especially coming off that was Salvation’s biggest win here in the EWC…Sonya brought her A-Game that night but he tucked his tail and ran off…to God knows where and we haven’t seen him since, that is not the way our North American Champion should act…
Love: It shows weakness and it cheapens the championship…
Ito: The North American Champion should be our front and leading Paramount, not home licking their wounds…I lost respect for Salvation for that, he made that championship lesser because his pride was hurt…he’s a tough guy when things are going great but the second…the second adversity hits well…
Love: He knuckles under and disappears…
Ito: Ever since StrangleMania I have been the one that has been leading Paramount, I have been the one out front defending this brand because our champion is too weak to show his face but that ends tonight…I know he is here, in this stadium…enjoying the last few mins of his championship run because tonight I take that championship from him and end this charade of a championship reign…
Love: Ibuki will restore the pride back into the North American Championship…
Ito: Salvation…
Ibuki looks right into the camera…
Ito: I hope you can hear me, that you are watching me right now…you were giving the chance of a lifetime at StrangleMania…and I know, you won the chance to become a ‘contender’ at WrestleFest but you didn’t deserve to challenge Marcu$ on paper, 0-2 heading into StrangleMania, losses to Xavier Reid and El Pablo, the brothers Volando…there were better option than you and yet they allowed you to cash in your prize and you made the most of it…you flashed a side to you that we hadn’t seen before…it was violent, sadistic and brutal…it showed what you were capable of but the man you were that night, we haven’t seen him since StrangleMania and Salvation…look at me…
The camera zooms in on Ibuki’s face…
Ito: You better become that man here tonight if you stand any chance of walking out of this stadium with that championship because I’m coming into this match to take your spot, to take your championship…to take my place at the top of Paramount and all I have to do is climb that ladder and TAKE IT…
The camera pulls back as Ibuki walks off camera leaving Buddy and Lisa…
Love: Ibuki and I remember the pain we felt at the end of FSW #100, we were sure that we would walk out as the NEW FSW Champion, we took that fact for granted and thought there was NO WAY we would lose and well…we lost, in front of Ibuki’s friends and family, we are not making that mistake here tonight…we understand NOBODY gave Salvation a chance against Marcu$ and well, here he is the North American Champion…we we focused and ready and tonight Ibuki will step into that ring and leave everything he has in there to become the North American Champion…
Buddy gives the camera a wink as the camera fades out…

We return to ringside where ladders are surrounding the ring as the Florida crowd is going crazy.
Watson: It’s now time for the main event. Ibuki Ito and Salvation are going to put on a banger tonight, I'm sure. This match is the big one folks. For all the marbles, the top prize here on Paramount Wrestling, The EWC North American Championship!
Sydney: This match pays a bit of homage to when the North American championship returned to EWC. The return champion was crowned in a multi-person ladder match. Tonight, These two men wage war for the claim to be the top fighter on Paramount Wrestling!
Starr: The following match is a ladder match and it’s for the EWC North American Championship, Joining us first, from Daly City, California, weighing in at 235 pounds ... IBUKI ITO!
‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love walks out onto the stage and raises his arms into the air as the lights fade out. He jumps up and down as ‘Deeper Depper’ begins to play. A strobe light circles around the stage as a single white spotlight hits the stage where Ibuki is standing, his back facing the ring, his arms stretched out and his head down. He swings around to face the ring as Buddy Love runs up and stands next to him. After a quick word the pair start to walk towards the ring, Buddy runs ahead and charges up the steps and holds open the ropes for Killjoy to step through. Ibuki walks to the center of the ring, extends his arms and tilts his head back to soak everything in.
Starr: And his opponent, from Mystic River, weighing in at 285 pounds, he is the North American Champion... SALVATION!
Falling Away from Me by Korn erupts throughout the speakers as Salvation walks onto the stage. Salvation smiles wide, waving to the crowd as he makes his way out. Stopping halfway onto the stage, and turning, pointing with his Walking stick to Sienna Wolf making her way onto the stage. Salvation turns back to the fans throwing "Spock Signs" to the crowd with one hand, raising his walking stick with the other, then starts to jog down the aisle, high-fiving fans. Sienna follows down the ramp, also exchanging high fives and fist bumps along the barricade then stops at the ring. Salvation makes a loop around the ring, exchanging fist bumps and high-fives before sliding under the ropes and into the ring. He bounces off the ropes and few times before heading to his corner, handing over his walking stick to Sienna Wolf, then starts stretching.
Watson: The EWC North American Championship is hung high in the air and these two are ready to go... LET'S DO THIS!!!
DING DING DING
As the bell sounds, Ibuki and Salvation rush at each other and begin hitting each other like two wild bulls. Ibuki gets the upper hand with several roundhouse kicks to the head. Salvation staggers as Ibuki lands another hard kick to the head as Salvation goes down. Ibuki bounces off the ropes and lands with a leg drop across the throat of Salvation.
After getting back up to his feet, Ibuki slides out of the ring and grabs the first ladder. He goes to slide it as a foot steps onto the ladder. Ibuki continues to try and push the ladder into the ring until a foot slides the ladder back into Ibuki’s face.
Watson: Very out of character gaffe there by the former EWC Undisputed Champion. Salvation caught him off guard.
Sydney: Ladder matches bring an entirely new element of danger to them and if you are looking for the quick way, its going to bite you. Ito needs to slow down, take a breath and remember that this match is going to go on for a while
Ibuki is holding his face as Salvation slides outside of the ring and grabs Ibuki by the neck. He proceeds to throw him into a standing ladder as it falls against the barricade. Ibuki is still holding his face as Salvation scoops him up and slams him back first onto the barricade.
Ibuki bows his back as Salvation repeats the scoop slam right onto the arena floor. After doing so, Salvation picks up a ladder and slides it inside the ring. Salvation slides into the ring and picks the ladder up. He looks up to see his championship high in the air. He sets the ladder up right in the middle of the ring.
Just as he is about to start climbing, Ibuki comes up from behind and slams Salvation face first into the unforgiving steel.
Watson: OUCH! That one HAD TO HURT!!!
Sydney: Salvation looks to be busted open after that one!
A small trickle of blood slides down Salvation’s face as Ibuki continues to slam Salvation’s face into the ladder. A few seconds later, Ibuki grabs Salvation around the head, uses the ladder as a step stool and spikes Salvation with a tornado DDT.
Ibuki shoots back up to his feet and begins to ascend up the ladder. Rung by rung, he climbs up until Salvation grabs his ankle. Ibuki tries to kick him off but Salvation swings the leg out before slamming the knee against the rungs.
Watson: That is going to take the wind out Ibuki Ito's sails right there.
Sydney: His legs are one of the driving forces of his offense, if you slow him down and do damage to that region of the body, he is going to struggle to stay in this fight.
Ibuki shouts in pain as Salvation takes the opportunity to climb up the other side of the ladder. Ibuki eventually climbs up as both Salvation and Ibuki meet at the top. Salvation starts with right which Ibuki answers right back. Each man continues to throw punches until Ibuki takes the moment to slam Salvation’s face right into the top rung. Salvation slumps as Ibuki leaps over the top while looking for a sunset flip.
Salvation manages to block it while dropping a leg drop across Ibuki’s neck. Ibuki falls down to the ground while holding his neck. Salvation looks up at the championship before climbing down to snatch Ibuki up and toss him into the corner. He starts driving his elbows into the side of Ibuki’s head until he slumps down.
Salvation smirks before climbing up the ladder once again.
Watson: And here is why Salvation is North American champion. Ever the opportunist here he is finding the ways needed to get the job done and right now Ibuki Ito is down and he is on his way up that ladder.
Sydney: This could be the upset of the decade if Salvation can make this happen!
Salvation continues to climb up the ladder as Ibuki is just starting to stir. Salvation reaches the top, holds his hand out and starts to pull down the championship. As Salvation continues to struggle, Ibuki pulls himself up and starts climbing up the other side of the ladder.
Ibuki eventually gets up to the top as Salvation is occupied. Ibuki slams his fist right into Salvation’s stomach. Salvation grunts as Ibuki does it again and again. Salvation finally let’s go as Ibuki grabs him and repeatedly slams his face into the ladder. Eventually, Salvation falls off the top rung, flying back to the mat as Ibuki reaches his hand up and Rips down the title, roaring as he as achieved his goal: The EWC North American Championship.
DING DING DING
Dobrev: And your winner, and NEW EWC North American Champion... IBUKI ITO!
Ibuki Ito grips the championship in both hands before raising it above his head. Sienna Wolf helps pull Salvation out of the ring as Ibuki continues to celebrate.
Watson: Ibuki Ito has done it! He has won the EWC North American Championship. This match LITERALLY came down to the wire folks, as Salvation had it all but won until Ito was able to find that extra gear that won him so many championships in the past. This time, it won him the North American Championship!
Sydney: Ibuki proved why he is the top star in Paramount. Salvation has nothing to be ashamed of after the performance he put forth tonight.
Ito is still on top of the ladder, now straddling the top rung as he takes in the emotions of the moment that has just occurred. Dripping with sweat, he clutches the belt to his chest. Buddy Love is in the ring now, bouncing around the ladder as medical officials look after Salvation, ensuring the cut on his head is not severe.
Watson: Tonight has been such a ride here in the sunshine state. Two new champions were crowned and we go into the road to Parabellum with so much momentum on our side. Paramount Wrestling is back on June 7th in Washington D.C. Until then I am Tim Watson for everyone here at Paramount saying thanks for joining us and have a good night!
The final image of Uprising closes on Ibuki Ito throwing the EWC North American Championship high into the air with his arm, while the other arm lays across his chest as Pyro erupts around Doak S. Campbell Stadium.
