Rush opens with the EWC’s first ever Vale Tudo match
(Michihero Omigawa comes out with his corner men, Olympic gold medalist in Judo Hidehiko Yoshida and Pride FC veteran Kazuhiro Nakamura to the sounds of classic Japanese music and a small green light show.)
(The Brazilian hero and favorite Royler Gracie is next to come out with the classic “Gracie Train” led by 91 year old father and pioneer of Gracie Jiu Jitsu Helio Gracie who is followed by brothers Relson, Rickson, and Royce.)
*Backround*The Gracie challenge was something that was made by Helio Gracie to prove the dominance of Gracie/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Helio’s toughest challenge and worst loss came to a judoka known as Kimura.
The Match:
Royler came out and through a nice combination but Omigawa quickly tied him up in the clinch after both men jockeyed for position up against the ropes Omigawa managed to score with a big Judo throw and was in the guard of Royler. Royler attempted some strikes from the ground throwing some elbows with the hopes of opening up a cut that would have the match stopped, but had no luck as Omigawa was able to gain distance and keep Royler from connecting with any shots. Omigawa landed a head butt and a few body punches and then moved in for the Kimura arm lock, the same move that defeated Royce’s father many years ago. Royler how ever managed to scramble and transitioned the move into a straight armbar that caused Omigawa to tap out.

*Post Match* The Gracie team entered the ring and celebrated but the Judoka’s came in and tried to cause more trouble. Clearly the rivalry between Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Judo is not over.

(The scene goes to backstage where we see Jay Reynolds and Michael Saint the co-general manager of Rampage talking.)
Michael Saint: You surprised me last sunday at StableWars Jay, i was extremely impressed in the way you took on Brawl, But you still lost and will be punished
Jay Reynolds: Ya, I wasn’t the only one to loose, i've come here to talk about the Cameron Hayden situation, i mean he was the first to be eliminated last sunday, he's the bloody World champion and he's being eliminated first for our team, i mean he shouldn't be representing Rampage as our World Heavyweight champion if he's going to be doing things like that in big matches, why should he be in the main events if every Rampage superstar in the match lasted longer than him.
Michael Saint: I know what you are talking about Jay, i am duely disappointed with Cameron, he is much greater than what he showed, but what can i do.
Jay Reynolds: Well make him defend the World title at Uncensored, i'm not saying give me a title shot, but against anyone, he shouldn't be lapping it all up as the World champion while us others are going un-noticed. I was the last man standing at StableWars and i'm the United States champion. Jesse Nunez is a good friend of mine and he's the X Division champion, we should be getting a bit more praise than Cameron, it's disgusting.
Michael Saint: At StableWars you and Jesse did extremely well for the team, but neither of you won it for us or eliminated Shadow Man.
Jay Reynolds: But make him defend the title at least against anyone, even if there from Monday Night Brawl, i'm sick of seeing him as the champion and i'm sure a hell of a lot of other people are as well.
Tag Match : Joey Orsome and Keri Morrigan vs Stung and Hector
Pre Match
The arena turns to darkness as 'It's not a fashion statement, it's a deathwish' by My Chemical Romance plays throughout the arena as the riffs hit in red piros shoot up in the air revealing a figure with his back turned towards the crowd, the lights then come on and Joey turns around and throws his arm in the air to the crowd as they cheer for him.
Cook: Making his way to the ring weighing two hundred and forty pounds, from San Diego, California, Joey Orsome!!!
Orsome then jogs down the ramp as he slaps the excited fans hands before he slides into the ring under the bottom rope. He then climbs the turnbuckle and again raises his arm to a cheer of excited Joey Orsome fans.
The arena becomes Dark and silent. The silence is cut wide open by several gunshots before search lights sweep the arena, as if searching for someone or something. As the first sounds of "She is the Dark" by My Dying Bride echo through out the arena, Keri comes out from the crowd. An echo of boos originates from the audience, this only makes her laugh. She continues to the ring, Jumps up onto the apron and flips over the top rope. She then stares menacingly towards the entrance and awaits her opponent.
Cook: And there opponents
The lights go out as Metalingus begins to play. The arena goes black as pyros start shooting at the top of the ramp. They stop and smoke begins as Stung appears from behind the curtains. Red rays are now shooting across the stage as Stung walks down to the ring. Slowly he slides into the ring and stands up, awaiting his opponent.
I Will Not Be Ignored" By Linkin Park hits
the PA as the arena suddendly goes pitch black. Sceams and cheers await his arrival. Suddendly, a spotlight shines on Hector, who jumps from the raptors and swings down to the ring on his patented zipline. He stops near the ring, where he carefully unhooks himself. Hector then enters the ring and throws a kiss to the sky, to his father. He then claps and prepares himself for the match.
