Josh Rafferty vs. Jack Evans
Josh Rafferty is making the transition from Mixed Martial Arts to Pro Wrestling and is facing his biggest test to date with Jack Evans, having Teddy Hart berating him from the guest commentator’s position. Evans and Rafferty lockup and Rafferty uses his MMA back round and delivers a few knees to the midsection and as he attempted to come over the top with an elbow Evans ducked under it and got a go behind. Evans dropkicks Rafferty in the back of the head and plays to the crowd while Josh writhes in pain on the canvas. Evans gives Rafferty the Ode to Blitzkrieg and Teddy Hart stands and applauds his tag partner. Evans points to Teddy who advises Evans to finish it and Evans scales to the top rope and he calls for the 630 but Rafferty gets his knee’s ups! He gets up and gestures that he out smarted Evans and turns and flips off Teddy Hart! He brings his attention back to Evans and begins soccer kicking him going back to his MMA roots when suddenly the referee hits the canvas and it becomes clear that Teddy Hart hit him with brass knuckles, he then quickly clocks Rafferty and knocks him out. Hart picks Evans up and tells him to set up for the Hart Attack 2.0 and Evans connects with the move. Teddy Hart pulls the zebra themed shirt off of the referee and makes the three count.
Winner: Jack Evans
Murphy Jones vs. Blade
Blade started fast and the rookie Murphy Jones tried hard to keep up with the X Division champions pace. Jones had a few spurts of strong offense and really showed great promise in this match. Unfortunately the veteran Blade managed to battle back every time. Salty Jones even made it to ringside to try to encourage his partner on and he even tried to trip Blade up! Blade how ever let Salty play catch with his partner by throwing him over the top rope and into Salty! Sexy Salt eventually made their way to their feet and Blade delivered a beautiful summersault plancha onto Sexy Salt! Blade brought Murphy Jones back into the ring and gave him a double arm DDT for the win.
Winner: Blade
